Before getting to this soundbite, a note for those who travel the deep weeds. Notice how whenever Fauci is answering questions on COVID subjects that are positive to his worldview, he uses the phrase “we“, including himself in the conduct of health officials. However, whenever Fauci is answering questions that are critical of health officials, he uses the phrase “they“, to distance his role in the decision-making. This is a key ¹*tell* in any conversation with leadership and/or teambuilders.
In this soundbite [full interview here and below], Anthony Fauci notes the CDC guidance on quarantine exit is likely to change, specifically because the feedback from media has been critical. The media have been struggling to support the fear narrative, and the CDC changes are not helping them. As a result, Fauci says the CDC quarantine guidance will change. Not very science-y, huh? WATCH:
Fauci, along with Stephanopoulos, is a big fraud and a narcissistic con artist. Notice in the full interview (below) Stephanopoulos asks if the media should stop focusing on infection rates now. Transparently, the media motive is to stop the criticism of the Biden administration.
Going deeper on the introductory point: Blame-casting is a profoundly negative leadership trait, with horrific consequences. Stable executives, those with extraordinary skills at leading massive institutions, always look for this blame-casting trait when listening to peers, lower-level executives and teambuilders within the organization.

¹The most effective leaders, people of the most consequential influence, listen 95% of the time and speak only about 5% of the time. And when they do speak, the overwhelming majority of that time is simply to ask more questions.
If you want to become a leader of enormous consequence, listen more, speak less, even if that means silence. For those of you who are young in your career, consider this advice for a New Year resolution. It is not easy to listen 90% and talk only 10%. Those who can do it have extraordinary confidence in who they are, confidence expressed with a rare currency of leadership humility.
People who speak less are considered more measured, stable-minded, more thoughtful, contemplative, analytical and more strategic. These are tremendous assets in a large organization. Again, for most people listening is not an easy skill to develop; it takes time, mentorship, a great deal of practice and intense focus at first. However, once you learn how to listen effectively your influence will skyrocket.
Listening is also a strong negotiation skill in both life and business. When you encounter a problem with a product or service, you can watch how powerful it is just by staying silent as soon as both parties understand the problem.
Rather than repeating your argument/position in multiple terms, learn to state your position with clarity and focus, including all the reasons why your position on the issue at hand has merit. THEN SHUT UP, even if you are tempted to speak, even if the reply is nonsense, stay silent. The other party will almost always start speaking again.
As long as you are silent, the other participant is carrying the monkey of the next move in the negotiation or arbitration. If you are forced to break the silence, do so only by asking a question about the position of the other party. Clarify using your words regarding what you just heard, and ask if that is correct. Then, shut up again.
In both large organizations and small teams, those who have either an inherent or learned skill in the art of listening are always the most influential and the most valuable.
For those of you who are employers or already leaders, whenever you hear a person or team-member use “we” when describing positive outcomes and “they” when describing negative ones, do not EVER -regardless of their other skills- consider elevating their leadership in your operation or organization. If you do, you are setting your organization on the path to failure in the long term.
This little pro-tip on listening and speech has been consistently true. However, only a select few people are gifted and/or able to do it.
Here’s the full interview with Fauci:
Oh how I so deeply loathe that arrogant little man. I feel my blood pressure rise every time I hear that smug voice.
I feel the same. I like your avatar. Though the reboot was very good, I like the original better. I always liked the references made in the opening to the Toltecs, Mayans, and Egyptians. Toltec Civ is interesting and especially the theories of their origins. HNY. “All together to victory”
Me too, that is why I cannot watch him anymore or Biden either, they make my skin crawl.
I never have and never will. I read what they’re lying about…same with the Kenyan with big ears.
Same here! I actually block their pictures on the screen with my hand if I can’t scroll past it to read. Same with Hellbound Hillary.
Once a person is a proven liar, I shut them off. Bush and Obama are examples of that.
Could it be that actually Fauci is tired of going on these shows, Sunday after Sunday, having to repeat the narrative that he knows is a lie? But, he can’t stop doing it because the Deep State is depending on him to carry their phony message.
This weekend, Fauci has met his match: Dr. Malone interview on “The Rogan Experience.” One newsclip said that interview had 50 million viewers. This is far greater than what Fauci will get on ABC.
Komrade: I don’t trust anything coming from ABC but, if true, I find that astonishing that 50 million people have mustered the will and patience to listen to a 3-hour, in-depth technical dialogue. That’s a whole lot of red pills right there.
I’m halfway through, and—though it is a marathon interview—it’s entirely worth it.
Is it Rogan who was Malone-d? Or Malone who was Rogan’ed? No matter. The cows are out of the barn!
Perhaps it is hard to believe the 50 million viewers for Malone, but Dr. Peter McCullough’s interview had 40 million. Joe Rogan reaches a wide audience, and has become very popular among a variety of political viewpoints, not just conservative.

Sure is. My wife watched it today. She’s better informed than I am at this time.
Fauci is a narcissist. He loves the spotlight though he is looking tired. He should be on trial for crimes against humanity. FJB
More likely Fauci fears for his waning popularity and future loss of power
A truly superb interview with a superb man.
Which little man? There were two of them.
A Fidget and Rumpelstiltskin instead of gold, he is spinning lies leading to mass murder. When does he go on trial for crimes against humanity?
If there is one single person who I would love to see hanging like Mussolini it would be this TROLL. The damage he has done to the world is beyond reprehensible.
Agreed, he’s replaced everyone on my most hoped for to be prosecuted list. His crimes far surpass those of the Clintons…
And his atrocious diction, sounding like a low-class Brooklyn lowlife. He shouldn’t have dumped that long ago.
“People who believe in nothing will fall for anything”
“To the mentally ill spiritually dead liberal, science is ‘god'” Colkitto
But they have no idea what the simple thing is that she demands…..
So Biden and Fauci are now in direct competition with one another. They are contradicting each other. Has Fauci been made the new undercover fraudulent resident of the white house. Is he sleeping with Jill or Hillary? Yuk.
Baphomet is more likely. Podesta revealed it.
Well Fauci has already sacrificed the requisite babies in mindbendingly horrible ways.
The answer is, who did he write love e-mails to?
No, he’s sleeping with Jeb(!).
Fauci is in bed with Big Pharma and Bill Gates. Follow the money – Biden is driven by money.
Fauci is the one driven by money. He’s managed to weasel himself into being the highest paid in all of government.
Someone needs to sue or prosecute the gnome. Enough already.
What a wormy pr!ck.
Worms. It’s what I see crawling in and out of his facial cavities every time I see him. And a flickering tongue coming out of his smugly grinning mouth. All he needs to complete the image is flies crawling on his face like Hillary and Obama.
Trump should have canned Fauci’s ass from early on. The reality is that the media couldn’t have treated Trump any worse no matter what he did. Once Trump realized that, he could have still canned Fauci mid-stream, and the world would be a better place. So in hindsight, the toad should have been canned.
or he wants Faulci to be the eventual faul guy
Oh yes, that would have solved all the chinavirus problems because think back to what happened when President Trump fired fbi director comey. Do you think that WHO wouldn’t have sent up another faker to spout their lies? What about scarf lady? Wouldn’t she have stepped up to fauci’s podium? Pence was running the chinavirus stuff, President Trump put him in charge. That was the error that wasn’t expected.
I understand your point.
In either the FBI example or the Fauci case, the replacement would have to be somebody that Trump trusted. We all know he wasn’t served so well by many that he ‘trusted,’ and if we’re to accept the fact that he is out of office, well…then any potential replacement for Fauci couldn’t have been worse.
Exactly. Thinking that it could have been worse parallels the same thinking that COVID could have been worse without the shot.
And the replacement no doubt requires Senate confirmation, and anyone PDJT trusted, McConnell would have said “can’t get confirmed” and never would have allowed outvof committee.
The appointment of Rick Grennell, to FORCE McConnell to relent, and allow was his name to be appointed as Director, was a one-off, the main benefit was openly exposing (to those paying attention) how McConnell was ham stringing PDJT, and answering the question;
“Given his success in the private sector, how is it that he keeps making such lousy picks??”
The answer is, just as the Uniparty gives us nothing but non choice choices (lesser of two weavils) McConnell was giving PDJT a choice between a traitor, or a traitor, for his cabinet.
Leave the position filled by a “temp”; all who qualify for “temp” have to previously been approved by Senate.
McConnell did far more damage to PDJT and us, than Pelosi or Schumer.
For your consideration…
Scott W. Atlas, MD, served from August through November 2020 as Special Adviser to the President and was a member of the White House Coronavirus Task Force.
“In his book, ‘Extraordinary Popular Delusions and the Madness of Crowds,’ Charles Mackay wrote: “of all the offspring of Time, Error is the most ancient, and is so old and familiar an acquaintance, that Truth, when discovered, comes upon most of us like an intruder, and meets the intruder’s welcome.”
-Scott Atlas: The Last Word
stanfordreview.org/scott-atlas-the-last-word/
I hear Scott Atlas’ book is a real expose of Birx/Fauci.
Ah Pence, “our” point man in the campaign, the qualifier for the religious right. The validating sage who brought gravitas to Trump’s gyrations.
I should have been more wary, but I at least see it now. That admin was loaded down with far too many establishment boulders… he hired a lot of conspirators.
Lesson: the politician who makes the most religious noise is overcompensating. Question EVERYONE, cut no one any slack who has made a living in that business.
My wise father told me to Never trust a person who spouts being a religious person. Never Ever!
So your solution would be to KEEP the lying worm in place. Well, he WAS kept in place and THIS is where we are now BECAUSE he was kept in place.
Feel better, Miss?
The fauc and birk, birk, and the entire cycle. – nih, cdc etc have run out of excuses and they are running out of places to hide and even the “fake news” outlets are starting to turn on them!! The dems and rino uniparty are starting to eat their own!!
Stephanopoulos by the by was a frequent visitor to jeffrey epstein nyc home.
So much for lack of credibility he has being on the killiary and joebama dem sellout party!! We already know what a sniveling little wiesrl fauci already is!!
They are being exposed daily for what they really are along with their new front lineup of scum the next generation of demoscum – the squad!!
Georgie Porgie was there? That little fidget was looking for little boys.
If so, its only because he wanted someone hisvown height, besides Robert Reich, lol and yuck!
Steffi went to Jeff’s first get out of Jail party. No Joke man
Fauci was undoubtedly a protected (unfireable) class of bureaucrat. If PDJT HAD fired the gnome, it would’ve been grounds for impeachment …
The narrative would have immediately shifted to PDJT is actively looking to kill Americans by firing the all-knowing Fauci. The leftist sycophants would have glommed on to that with even more ferocity than they did when he was in office.
Hindsight is 20/20 but believing that terminating the employment of Fauci, a bureaucrat for 40+ years, would have in any way lessened the world’s travails during this time is not likely, IMO. He would have been making loads of appearances on all the enemedia stating how wrong they were doing everything.
Fauci is being exposed by his own ubiquitous appearances and the countless times he’s flip flopped during this. Add now the direct full frontal assault by Dr. Malone and Fauci comes off as the know-nothing egomaniac he is.
Nonsense.
No matter what President Trump did they found fault.
When they couldn’t find anything legitimate they made it up to impeach him.
A true leader leads without cowering in fear of what other politicians think.
He should have fired a host of corrupt sleaze bags instead of listening to moron politicians around him telling him not to rock the boat.
I know this isn’t popular but it’s true. I also don’t expect followers that aren’t leaders to understand.
Jesus went to the cross standing for what he believed. That is a true leader.
He got all that impeachment bullfeces anyways.
It never mattered what the actual ‘charges’ were. It was all crap.
Fauci is a career bureaucrat; very difficult to fire him, especially when he is colluding with Big Pharma, Bill Gates, et. al. the Power players behind him also have most Representatives and Senators in their pockets. It would have been extremely difficult for President Trump to fire him. I hate the little rat-faced bastard, but God will take care of him. Not my problem.
Before God gets to him, FAF needs to be held accountable to WeThePeople.
Whatever it takes.
Justice delayed, is justice denied.
Besides that, can you imagine a “fired Fauci” going to every show, second guessing every decision that Task Force made, blaming every death on the fact the he was fired?
The only reason the Media loves Fauci is because they knew President Trump didn’t trust him.
Firing him would’ve given him an even bigger megaphone, IMO.
Disagree. I do not believe, as a practical matter, that he could have fired Fauxi, the ramifications would have been untenable, and you are simply speculating on what you think they MIGHT have been, based on “hindsight”.
In the middle of (public perception at the time) a pandemic, to FIRE the Head of a Public Health Dept, that had been there for 50 years, had been propped up with a sustained PR campaign as a “foremost expert” would have had terrible cosequences.
I suspect they HOPED PDJT would fire Fauxi, it was one of a constant line of traps they set for PDJT, that he mostly avoided.
“Hindsight, the first thing you see, when you jerk your head out of yer *ss.”
“I suspect they HOPED PDJT would fire Fauxi, it was one of a constant line of traps they set for PDJT, that he mostly avoided.”
Bingo.
Even if that had happened, Biden would have brought him back and we would still be where we are now.
For your consideration…
-Explained: Trump does not have the power to fire Fauci
Unfortunately for America, the longtime federal bureaucrat is an untouchable.

Thanks for the timely advice on interacting and negotiating. One last stab at it in the coming weeks and then that’s it for me.
TBH, every minute wasted on government humans is a minute of my very brief life left that I’ll never get back. I’m comfortable with the assessment of over six decades so will leave it at that. As long as the judicial system remains corrupted there will be no justice for all. Fauci will die an old man comfortable and warm in his bed not truly experiencing the suffering he’s foisted upon millions. Sad reality.
He will pay if mot now, when he has to stand for Judgement. I know it’s cold comfort, but I keep reminding myself they will all pay in the end.
Two comments;
Come for the news, stay for the solid insights to last a lifetime.
Cheers, Sundance.
These people have flipped flopped more in the last few weeks than a freshly caught mackerel on amphetamines. Bastards!!!
Old Fauci Flipper Flopper
Jumped out of bed,
And out of the window
He popped his head,
Crying, ”JOE, JOE, my goose is cooked,
I’ve told one too many fibbos, fibbos.
‘JOE, JOE, my goose is cooked,
I’ve told one too many fibbos.”
It’s 2022 and Faux-Chi’s 15 minutes of fame and 2 two weeks to flatten the curve have run a bit over schedule.
That’s because we didn’t take the vaccines and boosters.
We didn’t wear two masks and a plastic shield while keeping 6 feet of distance from each other.
It’s all our fault!
Without playing the video, I have sufficient experience to know that whatever is coming from Fauxi’s mouth is complete and total B.S.
Hopefully, a few in the thread will take one for the team!
That’s the most TV I’ve watched in 20 years. It wasn’t worth it.
The dam is not broke,…. but the media says it is,….. therefore, the dam is broke and everyone below the dam must evacuate.
So why is this little puke still around?
Charlotte…: Faux-Chi is still around because he continues to be very useful to the other team. It sure is strange.
Is it just me, or is he starting to look a little ‘worn’? 😏
Which one? 😉
Science by consensus. What could go wrong?
/s/
If I don’t have any symptoms why would I ever get tested?
even then if sick, why test? what does it add? Only if the Dr. will give you zpack, ivermectin, predisone, and inhaler.
For some, like myself, the blood clotting side effect of COVID can be dangerous as I have a genetic blood clotting disorder. I don’t take thinners, but would probably take full dose aspirin if I had COVID, but not with a run of the mill cold.
But for the majority of people, I agree. There’s no reason to test, period.
Testing is kind of like masks… do it to signal your virtue, nothing more.
It’s the only “pandemic” in history, that you have to be told that you have it
It adds the ability to get monoclonal antibody infusion. You must receive that infusion within 10 days of the start of your symptoms. Where I live, you can’t just walk into a hospital and ask for the treatment….a Dr. has to write an order for it. You can get the meds you listed via online consultation with Americas Frontline Drs….without providing proof of positive test.
My Dr gave me zpack, but I had this bs early in the game last year. 4 days were rough, weak for about 3 weeks after. If I knew what I now know, I would have handled it better. I never, ever even thought about getting the clot shot. Never crossed my mind. I never ever listen to what the Neo-Soviet non Christian media propaganda outlets say. They hate us and the truth. The more that realize that the better we all would be. The media has to be de monopolized
When I had it in July I did Frontine protocol excluding ivermectin , my doctor prescribed a steroid pack and inhaler for my asthma. I really did not feel deathly sick but it took me 2 months to finally feel like myself. I was offered the antibody treatment but declined, maybe if I took it I would have recovered more quickly.
Asthma can make things difficult. I’m glad your good now.
I am just getting over a cold, aches, sneezing, runny nose and never occurred to me to get tested, which most likely I would have tested positive.
A lot of people have a choice between getting the jab or weekly testing. This leaves open the possibility that they will be wearing a mask to work every other week.
Early on, they started the myth of “asymptomatic transmission”; that those who ARE infected, yet experience NO symptoms COULD nevertheless infect others.
Basically the “typhoid mary” situation.
I BELIEVE, although I can’t cite sources, that this, along with the surface transmission (that you can “catch” covid from a countertop etc.) HAVE been admitted/aknowledged as false.
Really, if there is ANY justification for quarantining such asymptomatic who test positive people, it would be for only as long as it takes to insure they don’t DEVELOP symptoms.
But, the whole premise rests on accurate, fast results tests, which they aren’t using.
So, false premise, builtvon false premise, built on discredited false narrative,..and looking more and more like a huge castle, built of sand.
I am sick and tired of this little psycho but am SLIGHTLY encouraged by the fact that they are all clearly tripping over each other right now as each separate faction tries to push the narrative that helps “their” team but then has to backtrack when the “other” side cries foul and pushes back!
How about we all just come down on the side of what is TRUE and make policies based on that? Wouldn’t that be a novel approach? Sure hasn’t been tried yet – let’s give it a go and see what happens!!
Right now, there are no “truths.” That would require an honest, unbiased media & social media platforms, honest elites seeking the “truth,” allowing debate over the “truth” and the totally honest scientific evidence on COVID & vaccines. Unfortunately, we will never get there. Honesty went out the window, along with the Bill of Rights, and Democrats don’t care.
vikingmom: We need to do what you suggest individually. Personal responsibility is the only way to go.
This a serious question: Does anyone even watch these shows anymore? I would think that their reach is so limited compared to social media and alt sources that they have become literal dinosaurs.
No one has to; it provides talking points for other media, corporate executives, etc.
Only ones watching are the ones already inside the bubble. Hive mentality.
Yes, unfortunately their ratings, like Bidens cooked approval #’s, have gone down but haven’t yet gone into negative, and we all see, and encounter those who obviously still watch, and think Brandon is great.
Well, we know why he wants to distance himself from animal testing; a very telling ‘they’.
YOU ARE SO RIGHT SUNDANCE!
“This little pro-tip on listening and speech has been consistently true. However, only a select few people gifted and/or able to do it.”
A bit of the commonplace advantages of silence:
My marine killed by the covid hospital rules and bonuses was always consistently silent. The most silent and best man I’ve ever known. He always listened while I talked myself into a quagmire and either solved the problem myself or he laughed at me and I almost always laughed with him.
He solved many a problem without a word.
Sorry for your loss dixie
Thank you. If I didn’t have CTH to vent to, I don’t know what I’d do as I am one of the isolated ones now.
It’s at times like this I wish CTH had a social media side, where all us Treepers alone in the real world could just chat. Guess I’ll see you on Trump’s Truth Social? =)
I didn’t know about Trump’s Truth Social, but yes, me too Tree Climber.
I am truly sorry you’ve lost your soulmate, Dixie. I have one and I know if or when I lose him my world would collapse. But I also know from my experience that God is a good listener. And moreover, He will not interrupt you. No better Someone to unload on as He is always there. May all His comfort be with you.
Thank you Betsy. I talk to Him every day.
You’re welcome. Somehow I just knew you did. 💓
My regards ma’am.
Thank you Colkitto.
Dixie I am sorry for your great loss. You may be isolated where you are but you sure aren’t alone on the treehouse! May the good Lord give you some peace in your sorrow. Don’t know you but will send a hug anyway.
Thanks. I’ll take it.
Sincerest condolences for your loss Dixie. May his memory be Eternal. Amin.
Slowcobra my comment was meant for Dixie. Apologies that it went under your comment.
I got it Donna. His memory will be eternal….within me.
So sorry you have to go through this. It doesn’t help that it is preventable too.
I think that’s the worse part of it because it WAS preventable. I had ivermectin in my kitchen cabinet especially for him but he was 900 miles away and I couldn’t help him. Deer hunting in Michigan and I’m in North Carolina. I will never recover from this.
No, you don’t recover. You can, with G-d’s help, carry on. I know from experience there’s no such thing as closure, so I pray for G-d to comfort you and give you His strength.
Oh Dixie, G-d bless you and my sincerest condolences. Your Marine sounds incredible ❤
Thanks…..for both comments Mims.
I cant bear to listen to him. Thank you for the Cliff’s Notes!
The monster spent our money to torture puppies. Animal torture is a consistent predictor of a serial killer.
F-ing-AF needs to be a lab rat science experiment liked he treated the millions of Americans and puppies.
Facui wouldn’t be on any of these shows if the White House didn’t want him to be. He’s a useful distraction, and people keep falling for it.
He’s a useful
distractionidiot,………….There, fixed it for ya….
These two manure spreaders will have a whole new pile to spread by next Sunday. Sorry I won’t be watching.
Here’s a voice of reason…
Nigel Farage on the booster
The problem is that people are being forced to take experimental vaccines for a disease that has less that 1% mortality rate. Nuremberg level of treason to our freedom.
I have to say, I am not being coerced into anything here in the UK at the moment.
No pressure is being placed on me to do what I feel uncomfortable doing, but then again I am lucky, I work for myself and I am moving into my later 50’s!
Sadly, If I was employed and in a work place, it would be another kettle o’ fish. Regular test, masks in the office etc. You have to feel for those who have children, mortgages and are doing all they can to keep the lights on…
Are the muslim invaders getting clot shotted or is it just the indigenous peoples?
I’ve never seen an answer to that or even if they are required to social distance….likely “no ” to both questions.
So…we should have been following the MSM Quarantine Guidance instead of the CDC Quarantine Guidance all along??? I’m shaking my head and rolling my eyes at how stupid things have gotten.
I told my grandchildren “Silence is power” and it’s true. It’s difficult to practice but the results are extraordinary.
I started to watch the video, but realized it’s over 8 minutes and I would rather pick up a 5 pound hammer and smash my left hand/fingers than listen to that evil little gnome. actually – gnome(s).
There you have it (reading between the lines). This latest variant (decribed as Omicron) is burning hard through society right now. Its basically a weakened version of the first two (made) deadlier versions which we denied others of therapeutics and preventative meds. This Omicron will burn hard and fast and through most of the world in the next few weeks. A good sign actually when comparing studies to historical viruses of the past. Fauci knows this and is still promoting vaxx and masks he admitted don’t work (but somehow they work?). The vaxx game is done and they know it.
We’ve been had folks. The next month (or so) watch these criminal gov’t health workers on TV start to position themselves from getting thrown under the bus. We’ve spend countless treasure and mental capacity on the fraud perpetrated on our society and world. The commie dems have used this scare to push/ram shtuff down our throats (never let a good crisis go to waste).
People need to be held accountable for all this mess. Not holding my breath. We’ve wasted 4 years on hoaxes here in the USA from Russia, Russia, Russia to Wuhan Wet Market Virus Over Reactions. It will take years to undue the messes pols/experts created for us. THEY are the problem.
We have yet to see ANYONE “held accountable” going back many, many years.
Was anyone “held accountable” for Lois Lerner, etc?
Lack of accountability for any in Gov, has a long, storied tradition, its the “Priviledge” of public service.
Priviledge, derivative meaning “private law” i.e ONE law for the “commoners” a different, for the,”priviledged”.
An observation: he looks and sounds tired….the kind of tired that isn’t resolved by taking a nap….it would be good news for millions if he is unable to continue.
Pretending and lying nonstop, having to remember each false statement made so as not to get caught, is hard debilitating work. I suspect his appearance and tone is the result of that.
Dirt nap?
That’s one possibility.
Your “listen more speak less” is very similar to how to comfort a friend in grief. My first real test was a Doogie. About 12-13 years ago, a HS friend I had not seen in years/decades even was driving in his Atlanta intown neighborhood after a big rain. This is all Googleable. He was driving his landcruiser and his wife and 2 kids were in the back. In bumper to bumper (no escape) a huge oak tree fell on his car. He crawled out of the sunroof unharmed. His wife and 2 kids, 3 years and about 11 months, died.
Long story short. Of course I went to funeral.. single casket, mom had kids in her arms. I came to his house a few weeks later on the weekday. I came every week for months. I listened 98-99% of the time. My talking was ummm hmmm, acknowledgement or answer when he asked me something. We sat on his front porch. I got to know in great detail the under side his porch rocking chair with my fingers.
He always said his ticket out was in his bedroom closet and every day he didn’t use it was a victory.
He has remarried and has a daughter.

My older brother’s wife of 50 years died some time back. He has frequently talked about the fact that the greatest blessing in friends that he experienced after her death was those who knew just to be with him and listen. He has said often that he had not understoo prior to that the power in simply being present with someone. No drive to fix things or act those the load could be easily lightened. Just be there.
A good friend he must have found in you!!
All this COVID talk is pure BS noise to give cover to what they are doing elsewhere to destroy the country. Per the Gateway Pundit they just flew two plane loads of Russians (Chechnya and Dagististan) out of El Paso – one to Houston the other to Alexandria LA. I’m sure they were fully vaccinated – with anti-American hatred. Just gotta wonder if they are skilled in bomb making like the Tsarnov brothers.
Fauci is a sociopath!
“We cashed all the patent royalty checks that they sent me!”
Listen to this psychopath at your peril.
“Most of the successful people I’ve known are the ones who do more listening than talking.” Bernard Baruch.
Naming a few that can do it…
President Trump
(Wouldn’t seem that way from his rallies, but you don’t build a multi billion dollar company without listening)
Dr Robert Malone
Dr Ben Carson
Winston Churchill
Socrates
Since no dissent from his utterances is allowed by anyone, he just feels he can say anything…and does… and no one will notice. No exchange of ideas or refutation of his “science” and this is what you get.
“In a little hilltop village they gambled for my clothes. I bargained for salvation and they gave me a lethal dose. I offered up my innocence and got repaid with scorn. Come in she said I’ll give you shelter from the storm”- Bob Dylan
Excellent advise, and a good reference book is “Active listening” which lays out several listening skills which take practice to develop, but can be extrordinarily effective in ANY interactions with others.
Engaging in asking open ended questions, listening to the answer, and then asking an open ended question about one aspect OF the persons answer, shows the person you are REALLY listening, AND it enables you to break a bad habit, we generally all have.
That is, most of the time, for most of us, as I am listening to you speak, a partvof my mind is thinking up what I am going to say, as soon as you stop speaking.
By concentrating on what you are saying, and focusing on what open ended questions I can ask you, BASED on what you are saying, I forestall this “bad habit”, focus my mind on what YOU are saying (instead of what I am going to say) and communicate to you in an almost subliminal way that I AM “really listening” to you.
(an “open ended question is simply one that can’t be answered “yes” or “no”)
In short, to be effective and popular, cultivate a reputation as a “good listener”.
“tis better to keep your mouth closed, and be thought a fool, than to open it, and remove all doubt!”

I am science. Please Lord save us.
“This little pro-tip on listening and speech has been consistently true. However, only a select few people are gifted and/or able to do it.”
For those aspiring for “more” in their career, that bit of prolonged silence is called the ‘awkward silence’. When employed, invariably the other attempts to fill it. In my experience, it has defused a lot of tense situations as well as afford the opportunity to come to an agreement.
Along the nuggets Sundance has provided, a conversation / dialogue is a back and forth between participants. There is give and take between the participants. A dialogue is NOT competing monologues.
” It is not easy to listen 90% and talk only 10%. ” This goes to the heart of ‘seek first to understand, then be understood’. Only by listening and asking open ended questions, will you ever get to the root issue – ‘why’, ‘what’, or ‘how’ is causing an issue. It has been my experience most of the technical issues resolve themselves fairly easily. People problems are the most difficult to resolve.
Lastly, think fast, and speak slowly…
Happy New Year everyone

I am not the sharpest..I thought using “we” when talking about a success was a good thing.
I am quite familiar with a “we programme “ it is very successful and a goal is humility.
The “ I” was used three times in this post, and it looks and sounds awful.
Cheers!
I believe talking about the “They” as putting blame on others.
When you are in charge, “we” in success is fine. However, “they” in failure is not.
“We” are both the results of the accomplishments and the failure. Lead, don’t blame.
” Notice how whenever Fauci is answering questions on COVID subjects that are positive to his worldview, he uses the phrase “we“, including himself in the conduct of health officials. However, whenever Fauci is answering questions that are critical of health officials, he uses the phrase “they“, to distance his role in the decision-making. This is a key ¹*tell* in any conversation with leadership and/or teambuilders.”
Which makes Fauci fully qualified to be a General in today’s US Military as they are practitioners of the same damn type of thing. Maybe he leaned it from them.
I had a thought…what if arrogant Smug nasty people were the ones with sicknesses that could not be cured, and all the good people in the world were very healthy…Hey God, we could use some help down here………….
No one is without symptoms and infected. Either you have symptoms and you’re sick, or your not.
This fool needs to be put before a grand jury, when he is indicted, it’s time to hang him. Another great on Sundance. Thanks Happy New year, J.C.
Thank you for the advice, Sundance. I’m not currently in the workforce but I feel like it’s probably equally applicable in daily personal life.
They need to find a nice place for him under the jail.
