President Trump’s position on the vaccines –as a tool in the arsenal to combat the pandemic– is essentially unremarkable. Trump supports the vaccines that were developed, under the goal of providing protection for people against the SARS-CoV-2 virus, by the scientific community. However, President Trump repeatedly insists that no one should be mandated to take the vaccine.
The essential Trump position has consistently been:
‘The American and international scientific and medical establishment have determined that SARS-CoV-2 represents a significant threat to public health. In response, the United States Center for Disease Control (CDC), the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the U.S. National Institute of Health (NIH); in coordination with the World Health Organization (WHO) and various governments around the globe, have worked with scientists and pharmaceutical companies to develop vaccines to be deployed under emergency authorizations. Those vaccines are available for the American public to consider and use, if a person is worried about their health risk.’
That’s it, that’s the sum total of President Trump’s position.
Trump doesn’t feel people should be pressured, forced, coerced or mandated to take a vaccine. Nor should anyone be subject to discrimination or division based on their unique medical decision. Vaccination is an individual choice, and President Trump has said, repeatedly, he respects anyone’s decision either way, and the federal government should not be involved. From my perspective, this is non-controversial.
Additionally, despite the proclamations of many who have even written on these comment sections, this position is not only the same as Florida Governor ¹Ron DeSantis, but also identical.
Again, position encapsulated: “Here’s what the professionals who work for your federal government have come up with, use them as you see beneficial to yourself and your family.”
In addition to the vaccine development approach, in 2020 President Trump authorized the U.S. medical community to work collaboratively to immediately provide therapeutic options and antibody treatments as tools and resources for doctors and infected patients to use in treatment.
Critics of President Trump have argued that the former president should now be taking a strong position in opposition to the vaccines as a result of new information which undermines the original efficacy of them. The vaccines now require boosters, and the vaccines do not stop the spread of infection, ergo they are useless or potentially worse, might cause harm.
Despite these issues, the position of the United States government has not changed, and all of the previous U.S. medical institutions who advised on the original approach toward vaccination against the pandemic have not reversed their position. Those are the current decision makers for public health, not Donald Trump.
The public ire directed toward President Trump would be more appropriately targeted toward the professionals in the scientific and medical establishment who are in the current position to make a modification or reversal in their approach.
There are many people using hindsight to criticize President Trump saying: with revelations over the past two years the entire U.S. medical establishment no longer holds credibility. However, at the time those original pandemic mitigation decisions were made, and President Trump activated a Cornavirus Taskforce led by Vice President Mike Pence, how many American people really understood the political nonsense happening deep inside the CDC, FDA and NIH?
It’s fair to say almost no one knew how corrupt those institutions of U.S. public health were at the time when the first concerns of the COVID virus were raised. Similarly, few people knew how corrupt the FBI and U.S. intelligence apparatus was in 2016 when those institutions were spying on and targeting candidate Trump. Most of the identified revelations of historic corruption surface only as a result of investigations after the fact.
Approximately two-thirds of the American population have taken the vaccine shot(s), and a large number of them are currently in the process of getting boosters. We can only imagine what would happen if the U.S. government was to officially state the vaccinations are now determined to be detrimental in some manner or form. That’s why it is certain, regardless of the danger or lack thereof from the vaccination itself, the U.S. government will never, ever, reverse course on their claims of vaccine safety, or even value.
Expecting some entity or individual in the United States to be capable of forcing the United States government, or any medical institution within it, to admit they are potentially harming the public – is an exercise in futility. It will never happen. Ever. That Rubicon was crossed well over a year ago.
We are now at the point where the FDA is authorizing, under emergency use processes, just about anything the medical establishment tells them to authorize. Which, understandably, has resulted in even fewer people participating in anything the FDA, CDC and NIH come up with.
Is the COVID-19 virus, or any iteration of a variant therein, likely no worse than a severe flu strain? The answer to that has always been, maybe. When you layer on sunlight showing how political the FDA, CDC & NIH institutions are, the answer shifts to ‘more than likely.’ However, we are operating now with a hindsight that was not available before, and even now data is still kept from the overwhelming majority of the American people, and Big Tech has been instructed to do exactly that.
Candace Owens reconciles President Trump’s position by saying, “he’s old” and “he doesn’t use the internet for his own research.” To me that is not only curt and ridiculous, that position shows me Mrs. Owens does not understand the importance of the stable mindedness needed for success at the scale of a United States president.
I said at the early phase of the COVID fear and pandemic rising how we were fortunate to have Donald Trump in the White House, because his general disposition is to permit individual states and individual people to make their own decisions.
At a time, when COVID panic was at its apex, Trump could have gone full totalitarian dictator, and few would have flinched. But he didn’t… instead he urged calm and told the American people to act prudently, but do not allow fear to overcome us.
All of the issues around vaccines are related to scientific and medical community practices. Neither Donald Trump or Ron DeSantis is a scientist or a doctor, and they can only rely upon the opinions, suggestions and recommendations provided to them by experts in these fields.
It is one thing for you and me to have research-based opinions on vaccines that may or may not align with scientific consensus. It is another kettle-o-fish entirely for Donald Trump to have an opinion, where his public statements are weighted toward national policy for public health.
I specifically remember when President Trump told us from the White House podium that the media-driven hype over the COVID-19 “was a hoax,” and the industrial media complex, along with both sides of the political spectrum and the total scientific medical community, blasted him for downplaying the SARS-CoV-2 risk.
From where I sit, given the scale of what has taken place, President Trump’s current position is stable and non-controversial. Essentially, here’s the vaccine tools they say will help, decide for yourself.

I will never agree with lifting safety regulations on clinical trials, especially with big pharma’s track record. That was the single action that brought us to this point.

And when he encourages people to take the vaccine he never defines nor says which if any of the Covid vaccines or if it is monoclonal antibody or Regeneron or something else. When he was in the hospital for Covid he also took HCQ so he could consider that a vaccine. He says take the vaccine but never says which one if any of the covid “shots” which are shots not vaccine IMO.

As for President Trump, I remain steadfastly loyal and trust him 100%. He knows so much that we don’t, and will never know. Much of that, he will take to his grave – but he always did right by America and her hard-working, patriotic citizens.

The controversy is about Trump’s continuing to advise people to take a “vaccine” that has been proven to be hazardous to a person’s health.
Yet, the discussion here continues to be centered on Trump’s stand on mandatory vaccination rather than on the real controversy of Trump’s continually advising folks to take a vaccine that is hazardous to one’s health.
If you are a Trump supporter, and I am, you need to recognize that Trump’s stance on mandatory vaccination is not the real issue! And, recognize the fact that every time Trump advises folks to take the poison “vaccine” it costs him support.
If he (Trump) continues on his present course, by 2024 his support will be nil.

I don’t see why he needs to comment. He’s still deplatformed on social media. Why did he agree with Biden on the vaccines calling them “the greatest achievement of mankind?” Sure, tell people he’s vaccinated and recommends it if he’s asked. He’s going out of his way to sell the vaccines when it’s not only obvious they don’t work, but they may even be harmful. This is as they’re pushing to mandate them for children and SCOTUS hears oral arguments next week.
President Trump obviously saw value in doing this interview with Candace Owens. Piling on her seems a bit harsh.

I really think most of us will adopt Sundance’s position on this.
Obviously CNN and the rest of the corporate media are trying to divide Trump’s base, but it could backfire on them and push reasonable liberals to consider Trump and the Republicans. There are a lot of people who voted against Trump how now see what Biden & the Democrats are really up to and may be willing to reconsider the Republicans.
For example:
CNN did this in 2016 and inadvertently thought giving Trump 24/7 wall-to-wall coverage would doom the Republicans.
So, by portraying Trump as a pro-vaxxer it tick’s off one of the boxes above.
In reality, Trump is no more radical than Ronald Reagan, but thanks to CNN and corporate media, people have not been able to see it.

I too admit to being troubled by our President Trump’s position but I was not thinking as clearly as Sundance.
After reading half of Kennedy’s book about Faux Chi and excerpts from Scott Atlas’ book about his time as an advisor during the Covid debacle, I realize that with few exceptions President Trump was surrounded by evil megalomaniacs who were out to screw him and the American people.
It’s really a wonder that he was able to accomplish as much as he did and certainly at the time, nobody outside of a few of the conspirators had any idea about the problems with the “vaccines.”
It’s taken awhile for even the best experts to research, analyze and lay out the problems we are not finding out about.

Actually. Kennedy’s book makes it plain that the correct course was known in early summer of 2020 at the latest, and certainly by that fall. Unfortunately, those who knew did not have Trump’s ear. They did have the ears of many who, instinctively and early on, knew something was terribly wrong and sought out those voices.
I can imagine that seeking out those voices would have been tough for Trump to do personally considering all that was on his plate but one hoped that someone, just one person, close to him could have probed outside the bounds of DC. I faukt Pence more than Trump for that.

We’re all painted with the same brush. I am not anti-vax. I’ve been vaccinated for lots of things over my nearly 75 years. But not this. There ARE vaccines. These covid jabs are not that. At least, not in my considered opinion. I have had my eyes wide open on this since March 11, 2020 when, driving home from a dance class, I heard on the radio that Covid had been officially declared a pandemic. I didn’t know what forms it would take, but I knew instinctively that our lives would change forever in ways we could not imagine. Shutdowns, economic devastation, doctors who knew of early treatment being silenced, an election stolen from us. It seemed so obvious as each day passed. And no one spoke up. No one spoke out. NO ONE. Now we get this constant barrage of name calling even from our own when questions are raised. But the questions remain & we continue to seek answers. Some insights that come our way are very unpleasant to entertain. Yet we have more information that we must process & make decisions about. I recently watched an hour long interview with Dr. David Martin. He was interviewed by “Man In America”, Seth Holehouse. I’m still reeling because of the pieces, so many pieces, that fell into place. Unpleasant to entertain pieces. And now I am once again tasked with determining what is truth & what is not. Candace Owens isn’t even a factor for me. I couldn’t care less what she says. She’s kind of like Tulsi Gabbard & Dan Crenshaw to me. They all speak fluent conservative. That means nothing anymore. I and my wife have chosen not to take the vaccine for ourselves and our children, it is not our business to decide what other people choose to do with their bodies. I think it’s bothersome because of the power of President Trump. Some people would do whatever President Trump said they should do and that is where the danger is in him saying people should go out and get vaccinated and stating he had been vaccinated and boostered when he has already HAD covid. If you or I say our opinion about the vaccine that’s one thing but his name and the position he is in gives more weight to his opinions. JMO

I think two groups of people are upset with him:
1) those who want him to go to battle with the pushers of the vaccine, Big Pharma and Fauci/Collins/CDC;
2) and those who don’t see someone who simply views vaccines/boosters as just one CHOICE in the arsenal of anti-Covid weapons but rather someone who consistently seeks hosannas for his part in providing the pharma products quickly, perhaps much too quickly.
It’s quite depressing, but I keep arriving at the same conclusion no matter which thought-road I take to get there: he simply can’t admit he made some mistakes with his handling of the “pandemic” and in particular, the “vaccines.” He is exhibiting his biggest character flaw, an overblown ego. It’s THE thing so many of us defended, downplayed and/or consciously ignored while he was in office because the good he was doing so obviously overrode his braggadocio. Now it feels almost like a looming threat or something.
Agree. Likely his ego, but we also have to at least consider the possibility that he is a true believer in this vax. Assuming he was “duped”, “had bad advisors”, “has no medical background” or this latest “too old and doesn’t use the internet” are all excuses for this horrible outcome we are dealing with.
Well, if he is a true believer and is fully jabbed including the booster, all of our discussion here may become moot should he begin to experience the crippling or fatal side effects of the jab between now and 2024.
Additionally, I refuse to call it what it isn’t which is a vaccine. The jab is a perverse gene modification experiment being surreptitiously thrust upon the human race. There have never been any successful animal trials of this mRNA technology. Why would we expect it to be any different when injected into unsuspecting humans?

P Trump is not demonstrating any signs of mental impairment and it is not true that everyone in their seventies is mentally deficient in some way compared to someone younger. It is possible but not certain due to age.
sundance does a masterful job of presenting the facts and explaining why P Trump believes what he believes. If PT isn’t in favor of mandating vaccinations then he is only stating his opinion and each person is free to decide for themselves. Millions of young people support the authoritarian mandates but according to the omniscient Candace; Trump is too old to think rationally or make an informed decision.
It’s ludicrous, but nobody’s perfect, so I hope Candace will correct her misguided reaction. Maybe she’s a DeSantis or Cruz supporter and using this opportunity to discredit Trump which is what I think SD was hinting at. If this is the reason, she should be honest about it.

I checked her Twitter site and this was posted 2 hours ago. Is it intended to fortify her argument that Trump is old and dimwitted and avoiding these deaths before the conclusive results are determined. These deaths demand an intensive forensic examination but Trump would never have forced these players to get vaccinated so they would have been free to make their own decisions.
Assuming all these deaths are from vaccinations is not scientific. All possibilities like spiked enhancement drugs etc should also be considered instead of reaching a conclusion before the findings are in.

I have come to realize even in the midst of losing people from both the vaccine and the virus, it is, as you say here, and as President Trump has said from the beginning, an individual choice.
Those pushing the mandates will be called to account for their totalitarian move; and both extremes of the aisle, one complete loathing, based on fear, for those who won’t vaccine and on the other complete fear of the vaccines themselves, we have to find the common sense ground on this since the politicians are busy pushing the fear enveloping both sides of the debate for their own agenda – keep people angry and afraid and it makes submission that much easier once the dust settles on the virus, the vaccines and the treatments.
We have to keep a level head.
Candace Owens did herself a huge disservice with putting this video out, as it will widely be used by the opposition (whether Democrat or Haley/Noem/Cruz side of the UniParty) to tell the public that President Trump is not only too old but too dumb to know what’s going on.
