The Canadian government has fired Carrie Bourassa (pictured left), the scientific director of the Canadian Institutes of Health Research’s Institute of Indigenous Peoples’ Health, after she was discovered faking her native indigenous status throughout her career.
In her defense, Ms. Bourassa said she identified as indigenous, and that should count or something.

Self-loathing is a pervasive but almost invisible psychological problem today. Disturbed people, who are profoundly unhappy with their lot in life, claim to ‘identify’ with something else which in their minds is more romantic than what nature has provided them.
The phenomenon is classified as ‘disordered assumptions’.
So you have Rachael Dolezal, Fauxcahontas, this woman, and many others like them. Included in this are those who mutilate their bodies, called ‘mod’ in their attempt to euphemize the process. Once you are aware of this walking psychological damage in the public, you start to see how pernicious it is. The majority has been propagandized by the enablers of this to believe that there is nothing wrong with this behavior and that it is wrong for the majority to see it as deviant. That itself is dysfunctional.
I question whether self-loathing has anything to do with it. These types of people all seem to be attention-whores with a sense of entitlement.

Why is everyone so upset about someone that self ‘identifies’ as being of a race that is not included in her genetic make up? We as a society are being manipulated not only to accept self identification as ‘normal’ and ‘reality’ but support and endorse those beliefs. (The ‘new’ definition of tolerance.) If a male/female can self identify as being a female/male against all hard physical biological evidence then why can’t a person of any genetic ethnicity self identify as any other genetic ethnicity?
The only question is how much further into absurdity will people tolerate this self identification mental illness to go before they say it has already gone too far. Many are already accepting that a person who is too young to vote, too immature to buy alcohol, too prepubescent to make sexual decisions, not old enough to serve in military, not yet ready to drive a car responsibly, etc is able to make a life altering permanent decision about their gender ‘identity’. Will it be shock to anyone that those same 4 and 5 year old children will soon be “clamoring for sexual intercourse with their daddy”?
