Kyle Rittenhouse shot and killed Joseph Rosenbaum and Anthony Huber as he was being attacked by a raging mob. Rittenhouse, also fired on Gaige Grosskreutz as the attacker held a handgun toward him. Prosecutors claim that Rittenhouse was a vigilante looking for a fight. The defense, and all video of the events, show all shootings were justifiable self defense.
The trial continues today with jury instructions and closing arguments. PBS Livestream Link

I stand with Kyle! FJB!
AND Steve Bannon!
And 100 MILLION plus Trump Voters!!
WTF, I support LGBTQ now!? (Specifically, “Let’s Get Biden To Quit”)
Thanks! I spit out my bite of Chick-fil-A. ?
Those folks have been boycotted in this household since the CEO said we should wash melanin gifted folks feet.
All of the above. This kid shouldn’t even be convicted of spitting on the sidewalk. If they convict him on even lesser charges, that in my opinion, would be a gross miscarriage of justice. Mob rule cannot stand. The AG should have never brought charges against him in the first place.

For people who prefer the Rekieta law (and friends) commentary:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n7YXd2M5E-8
It appears the Law and Crime stream has been cut for copyright violations.
Good grief. So many are streaming off those who are streaming. smh
Robert Barnes said he would joining the Rekieta Law stream today. Barnes was Rittenhouse’s attorney until a week before the trial.
The judge seems to be in a good mood this morning.
Dayum. They just cut Rekieta Law’s stream for copyright violations!
Edit – Rekieta Law is back up, then back down. Schizophrenic Big Data police today.
Putzs, all of them.
Any idea why Barnes is no longer representing Rittenhouse?
There were major differences between Barnes and Kyle’s “main” “attorney.”
The “main” “attorney” insisted on putting Kyle on the stand. Barnes disagreed.
Barnes had lined up four of the leading body language and interpretation experts in the country to assist with jury selection, pro bono.
Kyle’s “main” “attorney” refused to use them.
There were more differences but those are the two Barnes mentions most often.
And Kyle’s “main” “attorney” has been weak through the trial, IMO. Very weak. Barnes would have blown this entire defense out of the ballpark, including the body language experts, who are great.
Eh, I’m not seeing it. Defense had major wins today, gun charge has been tossed along with curfew. They also got major wins on the jury instructions for self-defense. A number of jurors want to plow through deliberations tonight, and short deliberations mean they’re leaning acquittal.
Aggressive lawyering and good lawyering are NOT the same thing. One of them feels good and one of them works well.
I’m watching them too and I won’t say they were perfect by any means, but they did careful lawyering and did a lot of things to help Kyle with the witnesses. They also properly raised Daubert on the blurry photo nonsense–something Chauvin’s lawyer failed to do with the frame-by-frame medical analysis. Yes, he REALLY should’ve objected to that, it probably was the biggest factor that cost him.
Every night after work, I have watched the recording of the trial. The defense sat there and rarely objected even when a lay person could see he should! Defense lawyer appears to be sleeping.
Meh. Jury will remember Kyle when it comes down to it. Kyle was great because he’s a brave honest kid but he was also well prepared. In the other scenario jury would be thinking of Barnes showmanship.
has it come up that at least 2 of the 3 rioters shot by Rittenhouse in self defense were members of a criminal Democrat-Marxist-Anarchist group called “The People’s Revolution” possibly steered by the Democrats/.FBI
Unreal. Stream suspended for policy violations ?
deleted.
This stream works; everyone is on lunch break now, but is still up and running:
I was watching on court TV and noticed the suspension when I came back to this. I suspect they were suspended because they showed the video of the shooting that the prosecutor showed. I believe showing a shooting on youtube is a no no.
it’s back up
I hope Kyle’s lawyers have someone reading and scanning the net for valid points they need to use, not just from these blokes, but everyone that is observing and watching.
Praying for Kyle and our Nation. I believe a guilty verdict is not justice. An acquittal, and the cities will burn.
I am hoping this becomes the demise of Obama’s BLM shock troops.
Let it be open season on those bashing people’s heads in and pointing guns while going ape at Antifa/BLM riots.
They won’t go away until our Dept. of inJustice decides they need to go away.
Presumably, the next round of riots will be centered around this very courthouse, which contains Kyle, his AR-15 and about 20 rounds of FMJ (not sure how many the lab expended for testing), plus a large number of useless adults.
are you saying there is a planned protest at the courthouse itself? is this circulating in the social media or something?
Re “is this circulating in the social media or something?”
I have no idea; but, one would’ve had to be living under a rock for the last several years with no access to any news source to not know the left’s MO is to follow an acquittal in this sort of trial with rioting, looting and burning.
They mentioned this morning on the local news that the National Guard was being sent to Kenosha in anticipation of the “protests” (don’t they REALLY mean riots and insurgents?) that they feel will happen once a verdict is rendered.
It should remain mostly peaceful, I would think.
Just a few fires and bricks, not much.
Bahahahahahhahaha
Based on the effect on Gage’s arm, I think he wasn’t shooting FMJ bullets, more like an expanding bullet, hollow point or lead tip.
Nope. Discussed at trial. The vaporized arm muscle is a result of supersonic impact of a 223 round.
I have hollowpoint varmint rounds in .223…
Varmint rounds..
Get that small projectile spinning (rifling of barrel) at near point-blank range (maximum velocity) and anything it can go through (gel test target, watermelon, human flesh) given the outward forces it generates as it penetrates at roughly 2,750 feet per second (that’s real fast, about five times the supersonic cited above) gets demolished.
It isn’t pretty.
If I were Gage I’d be reassesing my priorities and maybe asking God for answers. I hope he does.
So you condone violence ,when something does not go your way,
“An acquittal, and the cities will burn.”
No. Aggie is making the very factual observation that if Kyle is acquitted, Burn Loot Murder and Pantyfart will burn cities in retribution.
And Fib will put their arms up in the air and say, “what could we do?”
The FBLie will provide drone coverage and imbed “agents provocateurs” with their little darling shock troops.
And most of the rioters will be FBI agents and assets.
and the store owners will put a hole in the head of every rioter – now that they have been RETRAINED on the law of the land.
Easy to spot. They will be kneeling for BLM!
Scott, you totally misunderstood Aggiegirl’s comment…
What part of “I believe a guilty verdict is not justice” do you not understand?
Tha National Guard must surround the courthouse and all of the area surrounding it. Shoot a few and the others will run like scalded cats.
Only if shooting them is warranted.
Not if men, teenagers, or Koreans show up with rifles.
What a stretch Scott.
Aggie girl never gave me the impression that she condoned violence…just the opposite.
lol…..it’s raining like bejebers around the seattle area and producing record floods.
No snowflakes with matches in the streets for now.
I love Ma Nature’s naturally cosmic sense of humor, don’t you?
Vancouver Southern British Columbia too.
As cops used to say, heavy rain is the best cop in the world.
Yep. Let ’em stay home and stew in their own juices.
Stay dry, neighbor. We’re in ‘the shadow’ so far, and faring better than they are in the seattle area.
It’s even a little warmer than it was yesterday.
Multiple times weather events supported our Revolution.
For sure.
Sometimes in breath-taking fashion.
Raining in Seattle in November? Say it ain’t so! /s
Yep….it’s rainin’ and then rainin’ some more.
Who’d believe it?
This is not necessarily so. It is not a foregone conclusion that there will be riots.
Agree, STEVE
Foregone conclusion…
No
Narrative…
Yes
So where, realistically, do you put the odds? Rhetorically you can deny anything. But somewhere along the way, the word-map has to match the territory.
The prosecution (persecution?) never had a winnable case against Kyle and they knew it.
Judging by their thinly veiled pretense of being inept and their deliberate unconstitutional antics that also violated the court’s order on witness silence is suspicious. That and the media’s constant but false claim that this trial somehow had racial overtones seem to be a deliberate attempt to give Antifa and BLM an excuse to riot.
I still don’t understand why they would burn down cities because 3 white lowlifes invaded their (BLM) “mostly peaceful” demonstration and tried to kill another white man and the attacked white man defended himself.
It may only be because the scum (BLM, OWS, Antifa, etc.) all know that they are now at risk from being shot dead by lawful citizens for their antics, if they riot.
?
They haven’t said a peep here in N. Florida.
”Never let a serious crisis go to waste”???
Most BLM protesters are white felons.
Just getting a head start on the 100% off Black Friday sales that’s all.
There are quite a few women on the jury, hopefully they are sane and will take offense to their town being invaded by thugs. And Kyle could be their son.
Cities won’t burn if law enforcement does their job.
I doubt most people are paying attention to it. Also, he shot some white guys who were criminals. It’s not like Antifa/BLM are crying mad tears over them.
They will not burn if they know they are breaking into the graveyard. At some point, it’s the fault of those in power. If a kid keeps throwing a fit, and there are no consequences, but are instead rewarded by their parents, who’s ultimately responsible? Peaceful protest is fine. The first person burning, looting or assaulting, should face immediate lethal force. I promise you the shit will come to a grinding halt!
Let them burn, this is a show trial for our right to defend ourselves.
I’ve been watching legal insurrection.
So am I. Branca does a good job of posting and explaining. Gun charge was dropped and the defense got some wins on instruction.
I don’t know if I’ll watching Binger’s closing. He’s such an annoying pr!ck, but it still might be interesting to see how he’s coming across. He asked for 2 1/2 hours for his closing, an unusually long amount. He could lose the jury just by being tedious.
Defense gets 2 1/2 hours, too, but I think they’d be wise not to use it all if they can make all their points, and punch holes in prosecution in less.
Wonder if Binger is such a whiney punchable soy boy all the time or just this trial.
All I see is Ron Burgundy. ha.
Except Binger jerk needs a talking to.
His boyfriend would be able to comment on that.
24/7 would be my guess. Any grown man that wears that hair on national tv as a professional has some ingrained soy boy issues.
People get sleepy after lunch. Hope jury gets a coffee break when Binger is finally through.
I was on a trial team years ago when our jury consultant told us just that. The openings started before lunch, and the consultant warned us the jury would probably be full of carbs and dozy.
I’d guess the judge will have a break between the closings.
Goes for scheduling surgeries too. We want the doc alert. ?
The judge had an outstanding quote the other day. “The mind can’t comprehend what the seat cannot endure” or something close to that.
I pray the defense hammers it home and chops holes in this BS. Binger is an extremely insulting POS. Mocking the N word should peeve lots of people, it is only shoved down our throats daily how horrible it is. Just one of many of the petty things, not counting the monumental ones this guy has spouted.

Many thanks, much obliged.
saw where some billionaire said he now believes Kyle is innocent. hope he puts his money where his mouth is on the defense fund.
Bill Ackman. He’s been a bloomberg supporter and all around leftie, but a decent guy none the less.
He watched the TeeVee and got the idea Kyle was a guilty raciss.
Then he watched the actual trial and got a massive dose of Red Pill.
Basically, what this person says.
Bet it happened over and over again.
I pray this begins the revival of repentance that our country so greatly needs.
That’s the trouble.
The average citizen isn’t watching the trial.
They’ll have the impression imposed on them by the MSM that Kyle murdered two black men in cold blood.
Then, if the actual trial exonerates him, these misinformed cretins will go insane.
which is why everyone in everyway must counter this BS!!! Speak up!
That’s why Ben and Jerry’s could get away w/ that disgusting lie about “Kyle attacking 3 black men”.
He needs to sue the living dickens out of that commie outfit.
I haven’t purchased Ben and Jerry’s in at least a decade – as soon as I became aware of their politics. I hope they go bankrupt.
Re “a massive dose of Red Pill.”
I bet if we started referring to the Red Pill as a ‘COVID vaccine,’ a lot of lefties would line up to take it… lol
The judge has rightfully dismissed the gun possession charges against Kyle.
Click>>> Judge dismisses weapons charge at Rittenhouse murder trial (https_apnews.com)
THIS article spells out clearly why the judge made the right decision on that charge>>> Judge questions Rittenhouse gun charge, raising doubts about prosecution’s case | Fox News
Standing ovation for Judge Schroeder.
Put him in the same outstanding category with Judge Hanen from Texas. So now we only have two honest constitutional judges in the whole USA??? No offense intended for any retired honest judges who might be reading here.
The words of the 5th Circuit Judges on Friday made it clear there are more than just Judges Hanen and Schroeder ready to speak up and take action for justice and the rule of law. I do think we’ll hear more of this going forward. It’s time.
Judge is a Boomer too. So there
yeowzer.
Dismissing the gun possession charge is a big plus for the defense. The prosecution cannot use it as a stepping stone to the homicides! The prosecution would have u as used the gun charge to strip away self-defense!
link?
Links are included in my post above. Click what appears after “Click>>>.”
I view the gun charge as a placeholder for the lack of evidence while they fabricated the provocation theory and gross misintepretation of the (long hidden) drone shots of how Rittenhouse was supposedly holding the AR lefthanded, barrel up (“threat”), instead of right handed and barrel down (safe).
ADA Binger undermines rule of law because the lesson is DA’s can’t be trusted at all.
I think you’re right.
And it’s probably worth saying that this is a lot like the style of ‘law enforcement’ many californians experienced at the hands of kamala harris back in the day.
I think he didn’t want to give the jury “an out” where they could acquit him on the severe charges, but throw in the weapons charge to say they did something.
I agree.
It was good to have the jury see it happen and be shown the incompetence and utter lawlessness of the prosecution.
I hope the jury deliberates for about 15 minutes then returns a not guilty verdict across the board. This case should have never been brought.
I have sat on a jury that took about 15 minutes to find not guilty. much lesser charges, but still criminal. For some reason they let the prosecutor talk to us afterwards. I reamed him for bringing charges in the first place. Only reason was plaintiff knew someone in the police dept. I was furious with prosecutor.
Oh Merciful Father in Heaven, hear our prayers and send Kyle Rittenhouse home tonight a free man.
In Jeshuas’ holy name we ask and receive. Amen.
Amen
Binger needs some booster shots, IMO. Grrr.
Maybe the local Neighborhood Man can help out with that?
Needs to do something about that Pee Wee hair.
Curious, the ones who were shot, were they not out after curfew? /sarc
Had they gone home, they would not have found themselves shot.
Xactly.
Why the judge let the provocation ruling stand is beyond me , and it could cause trouble for defense.
I think it’s a borderline issue, and the judge thought it better to let the jury decide. Defense did get an instruction that jury cannot speculate on what is happening in the fuzzy, enlarged-with-more-pixels, video.
Rittenhouse infrared video debunks prosecution’s Hail Mary…
https://citizenfreepress.com/breaking/rittenhouse-infrared-video-debunks-prosecutions-hail-mary/
A trial that should never happen.
Overwhelming evidence a mob chased Kyle, attempted to steal his rifle, bashed him in the head with an edge weapon (skateboard) and advanced on him with a drawn pistol. Only when Kyle lawfully defended himself did the mob retreat.
Wisconsin prosecutor wants wants citizens to believe lawful self defense doesn’t apply when a mob is terrorizing a community.
Yikes. Binger just started, and already got interrupted with an objection from defense. Binger mentioned curfew, which was a charge previously dropped by judge. Judge notes there was no legal curfew, so ignore this.
Trial note: It is unusual to interrupt with an objection during opposing party’s closing. Binger started out by getting corrected by judge.
Closings can have a lot of hyperbole, but the lawyers still need to stay within the bounds of admitted evidence, the charges being sent to the jury, and the law as defined by the jury instructions.
BIG wins for Kyle today! Two of the seven charges stand dismissed (curfew + illegal weapons charge). Jury instructed that if self-defense, they can return not-guilty without further deliberation.
https://legalinsurrection.com/2021/11/live-rittenhouse-trial-day-10-closing-arguments/
I finally feel like Kyle has a decent chance to walk from this. I won’t predict that because there could be commies on the jury, but a short deliberation *should* mean that Kyle walks and we can see them go after ABC & co. for defamation.
According to Branca at Legal Insurrection, the judge told the jury the closings should be done by 4 pm. Did they want to start deliberations at that hour, or start in the morning.
Response: Eight out of 18 would like to push through this evening, the rest want to start fresh tomorrow. Six jurors will be randomly struck by drawing juror numbers. The “let’s get started and get this over with” means what I hope it means.
TY Sundance!
The argument that life is more important than property is designed to appeal to simpletons
This is a classic bait-and-switch. Sure, life is more important than a Pez dispenser.
But, using the leftie argument, they could burn your fields, steal your food, and demolish your dwelling, leaving you unharmed to starve and die.
As with everything the left says, it ignores reality.
Just like the prosecution argument that deadly force cannot be used to protect property. Ultimately all enforcement of anything is by threat of deadly force.
He used deadly force to protect himself though. That’s legal.
While Kyle is currently in the national spot light, he absolutely did what I hope most of us would do, defend our lives at gun point. The way things are going, we may be headed that way sooner or later.
excellent rebuttal
I agree – property lawfully obtained is life. It is the time you spent working for it and building it and maintaining it. SO when a shythead comes along and tries to tear it down…..nuff said.
If I am standing “INSIDE” my property, such as a house, or “SITTING”inside my property such as a motor vehicle and someone tries to destroy it, then life being more important goes out the window.
If someone’s trying to destroy your occupied home or vehicle, stands to reason they’ll destroy you if they can.
A lot of life is spent in hard labor to build property.
If your kid (not you etc) Had someone bashing him attacking him and pointing a gun at him.
Or you and you had a gun what would you do jurors?
While your lying on the ground in that kind of atmosphere…
The prosecution’s claim of provocation is based on Rittenhouse supposedly first pointing a gun at a man named Ziminski in the fuzzy, enlarged-with-pixels video.
I was wondering through the trial why he wasn’t called. Just found out. Ziminski is being prosecuted for arson, and thus would have taken the Fifth.
That wasn’t a fuzzy photo. It was a Picasso photo.
Makes you wonder what the arsonist was doing at that time.
Why arnt the creeps that pointed guns at that kid on trial? Oh wait they work for the FBI/ CCP. Nevermind.
So here we have it: It’s OKAY for Auntyfalala to point a gun at you, but you MUST NOT point a gun at them!
No hypocrisy there!
Although it’s not supposed to, the fact that this limp-wristed SJW prosecutor is smug, arrogant and isn’t likable in the least will influence the jury verdict in favor of Rittenhouse.
its a cheesy state
antifas handmaid
prosecutor lying his a** off about actual evidence and testimony. Jury should find not guilty on that basis alone.
No qualified immunity for prosecutors who lie or who make accusations that they reasonably knew, could have known or should have known was false.
Bring the pendulum back to center. No qualified immunity for unconscionable or depraved behavior.
yeah, they were playing tag.
that punk is as dumb as he looks chasing a dude with a rifle.
Nothing is more obvious from this trial than that when the government shirks its responsibility to protect its citizens, the government then has no right to try them for what they have to do to protect themselves.
That’s also why the government, the laws, the courts seem so incompetent in this trial.
Good judgement on Kyles part would have seen him not being there, but he was there and had a right to defend himself in whatever manner would save his life. He did so and needs to go free.
Defund the police – and you get situations like this.
And having chosen so, he experiences the rest of the process.
I’m all for the 2nd Amendment and the right to self defense. That said, the right to pull the trigger and the pulling of it is the start of what comes next, not the end of it. The first half of the process leads to the second half. We should be raising our children to become citizens and officials who protect what protects us all and our next generation. If the good and the generous and the intelligent do not step up and abandon the culture of law, civility and governance to the distempered class with their rampaging vanities and psychopathy, then Binger is the future, not the good Judge.
As it is, we are all one bad faith accusation away from a destroyed life. Dr. Judy Mikovits, General Michael Flynn, Scooter Libby, and on and on and on. I’ll be keeping young Kyle and his family in our prayers.
Carol’s observation is entirely reasonable. It just fails to answer the cardinal issue:
When danger comes, how can civility hold the line if no one shows up to defend it?
one day people may find themselves abandoned by the Police Powers to protect them from mobs or riots.
if we become trained to forget we have a role also, then all you have to do is STOP HELPING US and we are ducks in a row.
You should watch Allie Beth Stuckey’s special episode on YT from 3 days ago about Kyle Rittenhouse. She talked with a reporter who was there all the nights of the Kenosha riots. As the reporter explains, Kyle and the other young men who were there saved many lives that night. Previous nights, there had been murders, setting houses on fire that had young children in them, etc. The night Kyle was there, they were doing the same thing and were trying to explode a gas station. Kyle and the men he were with put out that fire, stopping the explosion…and that was what really ticked those men off towards Kyle and his group. Unfortunately, the politicians and those in leadership refused to have police or national guard stop the destruction of life and property. Who stood up to save lives that night were young men.
I hate lawyers!!!!!
There was powder residue on Rossenbaum’s hand, I thought.
Anyone?
Well, there was some on his head…
Yes there was testimony to that effect. Prosecutor is making things up. Slimy, despicable Liar!
Does anyone know roughly the time Kyles Attorney will do his closing.
Probably around 2 or 3 pm. They just broke for lunch, and I think Binger did about half an hour of his requested 2 1/2 hours. It would be so interesting to see the jurors’ faces, but their identities and images are not public.
Kyle’s lawyers, however, can gauge the response. So, too, can Binger’s colleague Kraus. But Kraus is also a jerk, so unlikely to pick up on the fact that jurors aren’t paying attention, are rolling their eyes, etc. If that happens, an honest colleague would tell the lawyer to change focus or tone.
I couldn’t stand to watch the pencil neck talk.????♂️ Slimy scaly little beast.
Let’s hope the jury feels the same. Those people have had to listen to him for days now, poor souls.
Each side is allowed 2.5 hours for closing. They will probably break for lunch during the States closing. Guessing an hour for lunch, that would be about 3.5 hours from the start of closing arguments, which started about 11:15 CST.
Short version – About 2:45 CST
Much appreciated Treepers!??
Just broke for lunch. Back at 12:45 CST.
BLM and Aunt Teefa will go “scorched earth” when he’s found not guilty. They’ve had a lot of time to mobilize.
Hopefully more of them will be sent on to the afterlife….
‘The People’s Revolution’=Democrat/FBI steered criminal marxist-anarchist group
I don’t see it happening. He shot some white guys. Plus, if he’s acquitted and they riot, what are they gonna do when even more good white guys show up to end the riot?
I just heard part of the prosecution on the way to an appointment, then they adjourned for about an hour.
It sounded as though they suppressed the audio as the lawyer spoke. The audio then began at one point, and threw the prosecutor for a loop. He told the judge he needed to work on the audio over the break! Seriously? We wouldn’t want to sway the jury with the full info of what was being screamed at Kyle, would we?
Treepers,
Lots of observations here that the lefty paramilitary units will go into destructive action if there is acquittal. No doubt those are correct predictions.
Others hanging out on branches of our tree have read my past assessments of American cities and the profoundly negative contributions that seep from them into our society. American cities, along with our universities, produce the most destructive elements and thinking about our nation. Both are only happy with dystopian results.
If you can, stay away from the larger municipalities, when the verdicts are announced. As law enforcement won’t act, no point in being victimized by the detritus .
Ask the people of Seattle, Portland, NYC, St. Louis, Kenosha, Rochester, Chicago, Washington, and Minneapolis if I’m wrong.
Until the inhabitants have had enough, America’s cities will remain the lawless jungles they are currently.
Wisconsin national guard already on standby.
fugg them… It has to stop.??♂️
Cities =high crime, high taxes, high populations of “minorities”, Democrats. Rural/suburban areas=low crime, lower taxes, better quality of life, majority Heritage Americans. Republican. (Also known as “Flyover” country by Neo-Soviet Democrats who hate Heritage America and want to destroy it)
Right on, Colkitto.
War correspondent, Michael Yon, recently made the observation that he has been in many war zones and one thing to note is that in places like Iraq and Afghanistan and other places only certain areas were actually engaged in active warfare. Other areas of the the country were pretty normal and not impacted by the fighting.
Said we are already at war–in several areas of our country–Seattle, Portland, DC, etc
Dear God please bless Kyle and set him free

I’ve sent Dennis emails with headlines/links to a number of CTH posts over the years … so I’ll take partial credit, too. 😉
Apparently the prosecutor said in his closing statement that “You lose the right to self-defense when you’re the one who brought the gun.”
Is this clown serious?
Many of his arguments have been of the emotional type. For example, Kyle ignored the curfew… so did others including the men who were shot.
You have to ask yourself if you are a juror, I know I would, why is an unarmed man chasing a guy that is armed? Sure, you can claim the armed guy pointed the gun, provoked the other and on. However, if I’m unarmed, I’m not chasing a guy who is armed out in the open. Particularly if he did point his gun at me.
Many of his arguments have been of the emotional type.
When the law is against you, bang on the facts.
When the facts are against you, bang on the law.
When the law and facts are against you, bang on the table.
Same applies to Gaige.
yes
objections are rare in closing, but geez, a flat out misstatement of the law should be an exception
This entire case will hinge on the prosecution’s claim that Kyle provoked Rosenbaum with his AR. Will the jury be stupid enough to buy into that BS?
The prosecutor continued the BS claim that Rosenbaum “threw a plastic bag” that “contained nothing harmful. Something CLEAR inside.”
Ever been smacked by a full bottle of water or ice?

I hope the jury doesn’t find him guilty because they think they can avoid another Antifa burn down. I pray not.
Pantyfart has doxxed them on their little networks in Cali from what I have gathered. They are under heavy pressure. So when are we normal folk going to doxx pantyfart, People’s Revolution or whatever that clownshow group was these losers were part of that attacked Kyle, and Burn Loot Murder? Doxx and destroy. Don’t settle for less. DESTROY. That is how the left rolls with us. Take our jobs, houses, spouses, kids, lives and leave us under a bridge with their sick innuendo and lies and cancel smears if they don’t outright kill us. I taught my Community College classes for years that the Communist hard left do not merely like to win a few, they want to, live to, and must destroy their opposition. They don’t just beat them.
We need to forget there ever was some toff named Queensbury. We really do.
Alarming that the citizenry is being conditioned to accept rioting, arson, looting by Marxists where LE just stands down and the FBI just watches from a drone in the sky. And yet if the citizenry has had enough and defend their property if not their lives, they are decried as vigilantes and then LE suddenly steps in to prosecute them for doing the job that LE should have been doing but didn’t. I mean, vigilanteism is not the core problem, but a symptom of failing government.
there in lies the problem, they are making it very expensive for us to defend ourselves.
Bingo! You’re broke and destitute even if you “win”.

In Shock Closing Statement, Rittenhouse Prosecutor Claims Teen ‘Lost The Right To Self-Defense’ By Carrying Gun

District of Columbia v. Heller (2008).
By a 5-4 vote, the Supreme Court held that D.C.’s handgun ban violated an individual’s Second Amendment right to bear arms for lawful purposes such as self-defense.
One hopes the defense had someone getting the citation/quote over lunch.
The Democrats are Pedophiles, criminals.
Why We’ve Decided to Tell You the Criminal Records of the Men Shot in Kenosha

The shame of our country is media who promotes and defends EVIL doers instead of righteousness.
God Bless them, for they do not know you.
Despicable. Trying to say “the mob” was exercising self-defense??
OK Mr. Prosecutor, assuming the mob has a right to self-defense, when a person is fleeing, how is it self-defense to chase after, tackle and attack a guy who was running away?
Exactly on point Daniel. This case is classic self defense under the law and accepted legal theory on self defense throughout the country. Nonetheless , even if (hypothetically) Kyle had pointed the gun at the rioters or cursed and called them names as implied by the prosecutor, the situation was diffused when Kyle was moving on down the street. In those circumstances these rioters (or anyone else for that matter) has no right to chase a person down, threatening/beating him because they are angry let alone point a gun at him or try to take his weapon.
This whole case against Rittenhouse was brought under the theory that blacks have the right to do anything without repercussions.
And that those who putatively identify with them may also do anything without repercussions, i.e., the AntiFirstAmendment folks who are white could pretend to be associated with BlackLivesMatter and therefore cause havoc with impunity.
Part of the “anything” in this case included bashing Rittenhouse in the head, aiming a gun at his head and intending to pull the trigger: Rittenhouse provided a repercussion for those involved when he shot back.
Even the tweet stating “I thought you shot black men,” why should it matter? Should Rittenhouse not have been allowed to defend himself had it been black men assaulting and trying to kill him?
The BLM bigwhig who threatened the lives of jurors and Kenosha itself should there not be a guilty verdict was only interested because it furthers the narrative that BLACKS CAN DO ANYTHING.
And how dare you object/fight back/defend yourself/report on it (Andy Ngo)/prosecute (see the threat to Eric Adams in NY), etc.
Everything about this case was about furthering the blacks can do no wrong narrative. No matter what they do or to whom.
It wasn’t too long before this riot that there was one in Portland where a cold blooded leftist shot a patriot in the head and killed him. Set up an ambush and killed him.
Kyle had every right to be armed and to take action to defend himself.
There is an element of truth to this post from Ben and Jerry: If it had been a black 17 year old who was defending himself, he wouldn’t have been charged, guaranteed.

I was in law enforcement for 30+ years. After reviewing all the facts, I believe Rittenhouse performed a public service. Give him an award and send him home…
yeah we’ve done a 180 in most things during that time. Your beliefs and morals and values are stale and old. Time to embrace the NWO.
I’m not a lawyer but I thought if the prosecution fails to make a case the judge can dismiss on a motion by the defense after the last prosecution witness/evidence presented. Why make a jury deliberate without evidence, opening the door to bigotry against the defendant or fear of the ramifications of a not guilty verdict?
I thought if the prosecution fails to make a case the judge can dismiss on a motion by the defense after the last prosecution witness/evidence presented.
It’s called a motion for a directed verdict. Rare, because one principle of the jury system is that the jury finds the facts, not the judge. If the prosecution has not laid out all the elements of a prima facie case, the judge can grant it, but the judges usually go with, “when in doubt send it to the jury.” Credibility is a jury issue, too.
Listening to the Prosecutor’s closing statement, someone earlier had made a comment that it is the gun, the AR15 that is on trial more than Kyle Rittenhouse, and that comment is clearly right on the money.
It is hard to listen to this Prosecutor insinuations that somehow the people charging at this young man were merely trying to disarm him, that the crowd was full of heroes of all things, but definitely it’s the weapon itself being put on trial.
So many feel that this is not a true trial in the sense that it should be.

It is a trail by the media and Globalist.
