**BUMPED x2**
As the impacts of the various vaccination mandates take shape, it is worth a review of the current status as it impacts you and your family on a local basis.
As noted by a reader in Washington state, the cleaving of society on vaccinated status is having an unusual impact on many regions even within individual states.
As one anecdotal report is told, the eastern side of Washington state is essentially functioning as before the vaccination mandate; while the western side is seeing a substantial breakdown in local civic society.
Mandates by local officials are creating issues for local services. Local police, fire and first responders are leaving their jobs, creating issues for those in the leftist side of Washington state. Meanwhile the eastern, or more conservative side of the state, is relatively not impacted.
In another cleaving anecdote one business owner in southern California has told a rebel alliance member to discontinue the use of services from a vendor who does not share the leftist political perspectives of the owner; while other right-minded business owners (in the same industry) are looking specifically to gain advantage by seeking out vendors who are skilled, stable and independent.
As would be expected, the vaccination cleaving is creating two unique classes of workers and owners/operators. Those with the best expertise, skillset and work ethic all fall into the group who are more independently minded and not prone to the inherent peer pressure created by the vaccine mandate.
While the data is all still raw in this new cleaved socioeconomic environment, it does appear -in the aggregate- the unvaxxed are better workers, better problem solvers and carry a stronger work ethic. The vaxxed workforce, owners and operators appear less than.
This brings up an interesting dynamic that is still unfolding amid various regions. So the questions posed are these:
What do you see in your town, hamlet, city, neighborhood and/or region?
How are the various vaccine mandates impacting your area?
Additionally, what opportunities or challenges do you see currently? Do you see any benefits to the cleaving as it appears to be underway? Do you have any advice for readers who might be stuck behind enemy lines?
I’m in southern CT. Our local elections are next week and our Republican candidates all admitted they are vaccinated (only one did not respond), but they balked to having their vaccine passports published in the paper. The Democrat run local paper is trying to inflame this as if it’s an issue. It just shows you how hopeless my area is. I last heard that 86% of my town is vaccinated! I’m wondering if those number are partly baked due to the boosters being used as new people getting the shots to skew, but nonetheless- the numbers are crazy here. And we are supposedly 48% Republican here (mind you a large group are purely RINO’s and work for banks in NYC).
You are in the most Democratic State there is. My family is from there. They all left.
Not even close.
Democrat…nothing democratic about Satan’s Spawn..
The correct spelling of satan’s spawn is Demonrat.
North coastal San Diego county. Medical visits require mask. No retailers require mask. Large church is nearly mask free.
Lots of lunacy in SF and LA. SD not yet. Time will tell.
Yes – statewide CT is far more blue from border to border than is CA or WA – those states have solid blue cities and metro areas but they have a large number significantly Red areas outside of the cities and metro areas.
CT on the other hand has few solidly conservative areas across its entire state. Only the two corner counties (NE and NW) went for Trump in 2016 by 54% and 51% respectively (small margins). The large central part of the state and the entire coastal / I-95 corridor between RI and NY is solid blue.
I have a close relative’s family in CT. They now hate it but they don’t have college degrees and have long-held fairly stable jobs where they are…which may change if quackcine mandates force them out…
Love everything and tell the Truth.
Simple enough, but not that easy.
For example: On question of Vax.
“You are vaxxed aren’t you?” (leading and controlling)
“Are you vaxxed?” (respecteful)
“I can’t believe anyone wouldn’t be vaxxed, right?” (Controlling)
I believe if you think Vax are not safe and not effective, you should be letting people know this.
“No, i’m not vaxxed because it’s not safe or effective.”
“Control centers like government have historically censored the truth, not lies. I’ve learned to read between the lines to see what MSM is actually saying”
It’s been said on this site that they (they = bureaucrats) fear the people. This is why we see such odd levels of control being attempted on individuals in the USA.
I believe we are much closer than many would think. I encourage you all to see past the illusion of control and enjoy how much power you have over your own life regardless of what is going on outside. I believe stepping into your power will positively impact those around you in ways you can only imagine.

You sound confused
When someone asks me if I’m “vaxxed” I tell them that there’s no way on God’s green earth I’d allow that poison in my body.”
Peace,
Why tell them anything at all? If people ask me if I’m vaccinated, I tell them I am. It’s true. I’ve been vaccinated for lots of things. The WuFlu doesn’t happen to be one of them, but that’s not their business and they have no right to know anything about my position on that issue.
If they are rude/stupid enough to ask such an intrusive question, just deflect them and carry on with your own affairs. Why fight/confront when you don’t need to do so? If my assessment of where we are going is correct, we’ll all have more than enough scrapping with others coming our way soon. No need to start sooner than necessary.
Because love means telling people the truth even if it brings temporary emotional pain. Telling people you’re “vaxxed” when you’re not reinforces the lie that you’re okay because of the jab.
The truth is you’re okay because you don’t have the jab and they are okay despite the jab.
Making them uncomfortable means when they start feeling the detrimental effects of the jab while you remain healthy they will start to question the lies which is better for them in the long run.
Live in truth. It’s what God wills.
Chris,
I understand what you’re saying, but you are assuming facts not in evidence. I DON’T love people who are rude/stupid enough to ask me personal questions about issues that are none of their business. I’m just not willing to attempt correcting anyone stupid enough to believe most of the idiocy that passes for news in our country; my days of having that kind of energy are long since passed. So, I just deflect them and keep going. They don’t deserve my time.
If they got the jab, that’s their problem. If they haven’t gotten the jab, they probably already know why they don’t want it. Either way, it’s their concern, not my business and I haven’t the slightest desire to be involved in someone else’s issues. Life is too short for that kind of wastefulness, not to mention that they probably don’t want to hear my thoughts/opinions anyway. My thinking is that as a conservative you need to pick your battles wisely, because an awful lot of the potential ones you could get involved with, particularly these days, just aren’t worth it.
“Be wise as serpents . . .” warned the Lord.
In this case wisdom means tell them nothing at all – IMHO.
Other than “That’s between me and my doctor.”
Just say “Neigh!”
Never been asked, but if I am, I can say “yes” as long as no one gets specific about what vax I have had.
Or proud to be part of the voluntary control group. Or decided to keep my blood clean. Or none of your damn business! (more to my liking)
#metoo!!
People who ask ‘are you vaxxed’ will assume that only the C19 inoculations fall in that category; so, if one has had any vaccination in the past, measles, chicken pox, flu, those are vaccines so it would not be a lie to answer that question with a “yes” since the questioner isn’t specifying C19 shots – right?
But what is truth?
When people ask my vax status, I smile and say, “I’m naturally immune; you’re welcome!”
Are you vaxxed?
You: No, I may have had the virus. [prevents them from writing you off as baaaaaaad]
They: You should still get the shot because …
*now YOU educate her*
You: I thought about getting vaccinated, but so many vaxxed people are getting the virus now. It doesn’t seem to provide that much protection. [give stats if you have the memory to provide them]
They: You should get the vax because blah blah
You: Hard to know, so much conflicting information out there. I’m disappointed the vaccines don’t provide as much protection as they promised.
They: You should get the shot to protect others.
You: If it was true that would be great. But don’t you know? The vaccines reduce your symptoms, but they do not prevent you from transmitting COVID to others. Lancet, CDC, even the vaccine makers admit this. Scary, isn’t it.
They: huff, puff
If they continue to annoy you, GET NASTY AND STICK IN THE DAGGER.
You: You need to educate yourself on the new studies. You have just as much ability to spread this to others as the unvaxxed do. Your vaccine only lessens your symptoms, it does not prevent you from spreading it. I think it is so important for vaxxed people to realize this, because they are doing so many things to put others at risk.
boom..now she’s on the defense as to why SHE’S out and about not protecting others.
The closing argument is this:
“Turns out these mRNA vaccines don’t provide immunity, the CDC admits they may only provide ‘protection’ for a couple months, tops. Meanwhile, have you HEARD about all those terrible side effects..?”
Here we can discuss thrombosis, eight dead pilots, heart disease in young adults, weakened immune system, etc..
“Well, in THAT case, the booster experiments just aren’t worth it. Since we’re talking therapeutics, and not immunity, I MUCH prefer the safer therapeutics that have been around for decades.. don’t YOU? Did you know that India and other countries have eradicated Covid with Ivermectin treatments?..”
excellent!
If anyone asks you if you are vaxxed and they are not your medical professional in a medical situation, tell them they are in violation of your privacy rights and you are offended and walk away. Or, if appropriate, and you are a salty old geezer as I am, tell them to Brandon Off.

You’re takinga Big risk Sun_Lizard. Almost all patienst who enter the hospital for Virus treatment have not been vaccinated. Good Luck! Think what you are doing to your relatives, friends, neighbors, etc. by your Not getting vaccinated! Refusing to wear a Mask is another mistake and danger you are taking – regardless of mandatory or not. CEG
The vaccine is to protect the vaccinated, not anyone else. The protection provided to the vaccinated is up to debate and by all accounts falling. Studies have shown that the viral load amongst the vaccinated is as high as among the unvaccinated. So getting the vaccine does not reduce a persons apparent ability to carry and spread the virus.
The delta variant in particular appears to have as much as 1200X the viral load in the upper airways, nose and mouth, as the original wildtype. The good news is that those airways can be easily cleaned out with 1 percent iodide gargles and nasal swabs followed by original Listerine gargle full strength 4-6 times daily. This helped save my 96 year old mother and myself a month ago, along with the well-discussed horse medication orally sid. I only stopped my mother’s Listerine when she started swallowing it instead of spitting it out. We are both quickly recovered.
This site may not be the best place for you Clifton E. G. Though I will defend your right to get the Covid vax, you may get as many jabs and boosters as you want. I have an immune system that just fought off the delta variant, I am better protected than you are by a country mile. Unfortunately, you, from now on will need the booster.
Dude, educate yourself. Even the CDC and vaccine makers acknowledge that the vaccines do NOT prevent transmission. You saying that that they do is false AND spreads misinformation. The vaccines help lessen your symptoms, they do not prevent you from getting or transmitting it. Think of what you are doing to your relatives, friends and neighbors by pretending this is not true.

Read the literature from the three companies. They stated that all their shot does is reduce symptoms is some people. It does not protect you from covid nor does it keep you from spreading it to others.
And oh by the way, aspirin reduces symptoms also.
I quadrupled my aspirin from 1/2 to 2 pills daily for 3 weeks once infected, and while there is some g.i. bleeding risk, I determined that the anti-clotting benefits were worth it. In the absence of a primary care physician(who wouldn’t treat me anyway), it was a rational choice.
Good for you. I refuse to wear a mask now, I will not be humiliated and depersonalized. I was thinking there may be a time when I absolutely have to so I looked into having one customized. Two ideas: This mask protects people who are already protected from a cold virus that I don’t Have. The other thought was the ever popular FJB or Let’s Go Brandon. If I’m absolutely required to mask I’ll at least reatain my self respect
I’m American, it is none of your GD business my medical status, pro vax or not or anti this untested IN animal, new technology gene therapy that had to change the dictionary definition to be called a “vaccine”. “Go ahead make my day” Gov DeSantis is actively going after the unconstitutional tyrants trying to mandate the kill shot and masks in FL.
I know DeSantis is doing a great job, however daughter and son in law both let go bec no VAX. It was ok last year, working 18 hours a day 7 days a week, but now NO VAX, NO JOB. In Florida!! go figure
Keep the faith. Florida just filed suit in Middle District against the fedgov on behalf of contractors and against mandates.
Northern distict in Jax and southern district in Miami. Middle District generally more conservative….
Also helps that Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody is from Middle District and her dad, retired federal judge, James Moody, respected jurist, is from the Middle District.
Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts today issued and EO banning State agencies from enforcing any Federal vaccine mandate.
South East Arizona:
Shelves empty, gas prices rising every week.
I would say about 1/3 of the population wear masks, even children…..even in their cars, motorcycle, ATVs.
Every member of the Apache Tribe wear masks.
Signs are on the doors of every business that masks are required but I ignore it as do many others.
The doctors offices, labs, hospital etc are requiring masks and still doing temperature checks and asking the stupid questions of … have you been exposed to Covid in the past two weeks, do you have a cough, a fever and so on.
I am helping a local church with Christmas prepping for the nursing homes in the area. I was tasked with visiting with the nursing home residents to get information….date of birth, clothing/shoe size, if diabetic, what they need or want so that these things can be purchased.
I go to the first nursing home and it has a guard outside the door. No one can go in……no visitors allowed. The lady I spoke with was very rude to me.
How sad and disturbing that these nursing homes are not allowing visitors, and the residents who are able to walk can not go outside either….I asked.
Other nursing home is same as the first one I visited. So I had to leave the paperwork with very rude people.
The hospital will not allow visitors. So disturbing that the medical community is all in with this Marxist BS.
we have the same thing in washington. sad
Very sad. I was shocked to see the guard. The lady I spoke to was a beotch.
Texas is now voting on an amendment to our constiution that will probhibit nursing homes from restricting family visits.
All Red states need to stop nursing homes from denying visitors
THAT is a very worrisome thing – nursing homes keeping out visitors – that is, loved ones and advocates –
people who visit their loved ones every day, rain or shine, must be going through so much worrying about their dear loved ones – people who just sit thee all the time, who see to it that the communion lady stops by, who keep track of dentures, who bring breakfast from home . . .
my Mom and I helped shepherd my Grandmother through a stay at the hospital (three weeks, broken pelvis) and I was able to stay there all day and sleep in her room at night but when she had to go to the nursing home, I could only visit her during “regular visiting hours” (7 am to 9 pm) . . . this was in 1994 . . . we had wanted to bring her home from the hospital directly but her pelvis crack was still mending and she was supposed to be getting physical therapy, which we had to fight for constantly, along with other concerns. She was sent over there to recuperate from her pelvis – the doctor said she did not need surgery, just time for it to mend and PT to rebuild her strength because she also got pneumonia.
As it turned out, someone somewhere in the admitting chain had her down as having “OBD”. My Mom and I had followed the ambulance over to the nursing home from the hospital.
The attendant who had been at Grandma’s side on the ride over asked me how long my Grandmother had been diagnosed with OBD, “because she is really alert, was talking to me on the way over and everything.” I asked him what OBD was – he said, “Organic Brain Dysfunction”.
I called her doctor right away to let him know that had been put on her chart, he said that was wrong and he would call them to clear that up. Even so, we had an ordeal of standing up for her at meetings they had sprung on us in those first few days where they told us she needed to be in the “Arcadia” section (locked Alzheimer’s ward), We persisted that she was there for PT, she was on Medicare and had good supplemental insurance and there was not anything wrong with her brain.
I shudder to think of what shit some nursing homes are pulling right now when these poor dear darlings are totally vulnerable with no one to stick up for them.
Anyway, we got her out of there and back home in 4 months but it was a grueling experience. That was when she was 91 years old. She kept going beautifully at home and almost made it to 100 (3 weeks away), as bright and “with it” as you could ever want to be.
We wrote a complaint to the nursing home ombudsman and hope that did something . . . which brings me to ask, are there still nursing home ombudsmen that you can call? Have they been any help to family members during the “pandemic” anywhere?
It was a horrible, horrible experience and this was in 1994!
“…are there still nursing home ombudsmen…”
When my late husband was diagnosed with a terminal cancer in 2013 and we were getting acquainted with procedures and departments in a large regional hospital (in Portland OR…one with a very good rep), I asked where I could contact the patient liaison person (i.e., ombudsman). Wow, did I unknowingly touch a third rail. I could almost hear the protective encirclements clang closed, locked into place, lest I ask a hard question. It was truly other-worldly. I tried several approaches…finally realized that department was in the basement, not listed anywhere on any directory, and was behind a series of locked doors. Made me very aware that they were not ABOUT to stumble in to any conversation unless their attorneys were present. Or something.
By the way, that was the huge facility known as Adventist Medical Center. The care they delivered was outstanding. Their fear at being found out (about what–I don’t know) was palpable.
In 1997 my mother died in the care of an excellent nursing home in eastern Montana. I am/was the youngest of six children whose phone numbers they had on file in order of significance for contact in case of emergency…I was at the bottom of the list.
On a Saturday night in February I answered my phone in Minnesota, no other older siblings answering their phones that night. They nursing home staff was asking me me to authorize a hospital admission for her. We knew she was on the failing edge of dying and had been for months. It was not a resolvable problem in terms of her condition. She was having trouble breathing. So they are going to admit her through the emergency department, and start heavy-handed interventions that would probably kill her that night. She was very frail.
I knew there was a DNR on record for her, and had been there for many years. So I asked about that.
THEY HAD MISPLACED IT. It was “only a piece of paper” and they couldn’t find it that night. sp they felt obligated to “save her life with extreme measures”…all askeert, obviously.
When I realized they were just trying to CTA, I shifted into another mode and said, “Do NOT admit her. She is NOT to be admitted.” …… oh, but they needed authorization, doncha know. (having lost the authorization that had already been given to them)
Thank God it was a small-type town and I finally thought of a possible solution, so I asked: “Do you know Jane Nielsen?” (not her real name) Jane had been the public health nurse for that county for decades and I KNEW they all knew her. I KNEW they would walk on nails and broken glass for her. She is my first cousin. Our mothers were sisters.
Why, yes. They knew Jane. And I said, “Well, you get hold of Jane and SHE will ASSURE you that the DNR order holds for my mother’s children on this night in February.” They did. Jane assured them that I wasn’t lying or exaggerating or playing games. An absolute nightmare.
So I got to press the people in charge to NOT help my mother. To let her die, as she obviously was. And then the next morning, I got to call all my siblings and tell them what I had done. She was gone by Tuesday night.
This kind of powerplay, confusion, fearfulness, and horrible stuff has been around for a long, long, long time.
Wo. Build a granny suite at your home and keep your loved ones with you! Perhaps pay a live-in attendant for being there on the hours you must work, or through the night — it does not cost more than a “Care” ‘Home.” Many new immigrants have traditional family values and are excellent candidates for helping. And your extra time managing everything is offset by all the times you do not have to fight traffic driving to the institution and back . . .
I does become necessary to move them to care if they have Alzheimer’s and Lewy Body dementia. Believe me. When the loved one fights you night and day, will not sleep, and destroys your home and it becomes unsafe for them (actually unlivable for all of you), you have no choice but to move them to care. It took two years after the disaster, but I got Dad home again to a new and larger place to accommodate a wheelchair and walker. He was finally mentally stable. Unfortunately, he didn’t last long in HIS new home. But he died at home, surrounded by all three of his loved ones. He still knew us by name and knew where he was. We will meet again.
every time you reference being able to get your dad home again, no matter for how long,
i am so happy for you. you did GOOD.
as you probably know, i was in the process of that, and then “covid” destroyed all plans.
still, it brings me joy that you got him home.?
(and glad you were able to stabilize his dementia – it CAN be done!??)
Restricting family will be quite handy for Dems in this next Election!! Nursing Home Staff order ABSENTEE ballots for those at their Nursing Home Facility. Staff VOTES the ballot!!! No Trump votes!!
I know it’s after the fact, but here’s a good tip. If you have a loved one that has died, immediately telephone your Secretary of State’s Elections Office and tell them to remove your loved one from the voter roll. I did that for my dad right after he passed.
They actually have people go to nursing homes to “help” people vote; I went the day I thought mom voted and she was upset because they wouldn’t let her vote. I was told she didn’t want to vote and know my mother and knew she wanted to and planned to vote; I assume a resident with a clue wasn’t in the plans for those “helping”. I got her an absentee ballot and helped her vote. I sat next to her and we went through it together and she told me how she wanted to vote.
My grandmother was in and out of a nursing home….we tried to keep her out as much as possible.
My mother had Alzheimer’s and she was out in a nursing home against my objections. My mother wanted to live with me and we were prepared to care for her. Her azz hat son did it to her.
It is such a travesty how these nursing homes are operating. Even hospitals…..not allowing anything. Bastardos.
So sorry to hear of your family’s horrible experience! There are too many stories like yours.
I doubt very seriously that families who have loved ones in nursing homes have anyone to contact.
I was looking forward to delivering the presents and Christmas food treats to the nursing home residents.
Where I live there’s a state ombudsman; there are several, one in each of the big counties, lower population areas have one regionally. Mom was in 1/13-3/15 when she died and I was able to overstay visiting hours in the first one – they had a flu epidemic and discouraged visitors but that didn’t apply to me and my sister because we were both there nearly every day, on different schedules. She had a stroke and was on tube feeding and because she worked in a hospital setting knew more about patients rights than I did so she told them she wanted food. They put her on mechanical softs for awhile and at the next care conference she said she wanted food. The Ombudsman was there and the head nurse tried to discourage it but mom held firm and had me as backup. They knew I was going to make sure she got what she wanted. I spoke with the Ombudsman about something else and she told me the head nurse said that kind of responsibility wasn’t what she had signed up for; the Ombudsman told her it was exactly what she signed up for and she was gone shortly thereafter.
The other nursing home also didn’t hold us to visiting hours and her last Christmas, provided us with a conference room so we could have a little Christmas party.
The terrible part about nursing homes is that even the good ones are awful; even if you’re there. A man in his 80s who wanted to carb load was only allowed one slice of bread with each meal when he wanted 3; he didn’t haave a family visiting, a nephew would pick him up for holidays and they could bully him. I didn’t visit mom one Saturday until late, after 9 and she was sitting in her wheelchair, in a hospital gown, without her afghan, or glasses unable to see the basketball game she wanted to watch, crying, with her tray table out of reach and no beverage. I was livid; the aide worked in a different area and didn’t pay attention to what she asked for; all she wanted was to be popped into bed and have the game on and a glass of rootbeer and couple pieces of candy. The aides who usually worked there knew what she wanted and would pop her in bed, make sure her glasses were on and the tray table was in her reach with a glass of pop and some candy or kettle corn. They’d pop back in to check the score even if they weren’t assigned to her.
People need to obtain Power of Attorney (which survives subsequent incompetence) and healthcare proxies for their elderly parents *before* they get themselves into these terrible predicaments. Then YOU will call ALL the shots, and YOU will have every right to move your parents into a healthier situation.
Remember that an ounce of prevention is definitely worth a pound of cure.
I heard on the radio today that only 50% of the County population has had the Covid inoculation. The shot was being pushed hard by the County Health Department.
I don’t know if masks have been forced on the kids in school
I’m in Central Florida. There are sign up in some businesses that say they require masks, nothing about being vexed. I haven’t been in one yet where the people who work there are all wearing them and they don’t say anything to me about putting one on. I see few people wearing masks at all anywhere and it seems to be their decision if they are. Most of them are elderly. Nobody is asking about the Vaxx except at the doctor’s office and they just ask and that is all.
<…some businesses say they require masks, nothing about being vexed.>
You shouldn’t be afraid to tell them you’re annoyed at wearing a mask 🙂
Lol ?
Your moniker is most fitting.
Oh, don’t think they don’t get an earful from me.
LOLOLOL!!!
I’m in the low country of SC, 20 miles west of Charleston. I’m not vaccinated and as a retiree, I’m not personally affected. I will not get the not-a-vaccine and I don’t wear a mask. Most purple around here don’t although a couple stores require them and others request them.
My daughter and son-in-law work for major retailers and neither are vaccinated. Their employers offer but don’t require them yet. If tge givens mandate comes down and isn’t killed by the courts, I’m not sure what they will do. They currently get a test if they want to go to a concert or someplace that requires them and neither is against mask-wearing; they both have to do it for work and think I should too make others feel safer around me – sigh. Thankfully they no longer live with me!
A clerk at Aldi told me corporate said they are waiting to see what the government issues. If she is eventually required to get the not-a-vaccine for work, she’s walking and won’t be the only one at that store to do so.
Just checking in. I work in telecom for a major provider behind enemy lines in CA. The company is mandating the jab for all non-union employees as of December 8th as we hold federal contracts as a company, they consider us all federal contractors.
I am a union employee, they have saved my rear a few times, but I do have issues with unions and what they are doing on a national basis. My union is super leftist. That being said, I reached out to my union steward and asked what the union’s standpoint was on our freedom to choose what we put in our bodies. Got a reply back stating while they are pro-jab, they are also pro union-member choice regarding the jab. Looks like my lefty union is actually going to have our backs if we don’t want the jab. Even if they don’t get that squared away in our contract, my company has said they’re accepting religious exemptions.
Didn’t want to be fired over not getting the jab as I’m a sole breadwinner supporting my family…but was willing to be if it were forced on me.
Be strong and courageous, for we belong to Jesus and no one else!
Seems like your non-union co-workers could sue for unequal treatment.
Wait. This seems totally illegal to have two differing standards for employees of one company working side-by-side. I can’t imagine how it stands up on court to allow union members to choose, while coercing non-members.
Beware the exemptions. You can be granted a religious exption and still not get an accommodation. If you do get one, it can be withdrawn as well. Exemptions are a false concession, one should not need to lay bare religious beliefs or medical problems to an employer. Against EEOC laws and ADA.
The religious exemptions are the employer’s warped idea of complying with the law. Bottom line: Employers are *required* to obtain consent for medical experiments.
Filing an exemption form means NO consent is given.
No consent = No jab.
Religious exemptions from medical treatment have already been codified by Constitutional law. Already tested and upheld under Freedom of Religion.
Unfortunately, our “Supreme” Court disagreed today.
We are post-Constitutional folks — plan accordingly. . . .
Puerto Vallarta, México: There’s a boom going on here. Visitors from up north are coming in droves, smiling, laughing, and spending money. Cruise ships are offloading thousands more. “Maskes? We don’t need no stinking Maskes!”
Ok, Costco and other larger retailers still require the mask, but small independent shops are happy to see your smiling face. Ven aquí!
I am in eastern wa. the westside loonies are buying every property that comes on the market no matter the price within hours in my community. no kidding. the local coffee shops are full of them. shit.
I’m in semi-rural Western Wa, and property prices are skyrocketing here as the Californians and city dwellers (Seattle) are escaping for the country.
It isn’t like prices in Western Washington aren’t exploding too, I know a builder that received $200K over the original asking price. $1.2M for 2700 sq ft new home, 1/4 ac lot, in a suburb 15 miles from Seattle.
Even though required by the State, most smaller places of business would rather take your money than make you wear a mask. People are tiring of the drill, but our Tyrant-in-Chief, Jay Inslee, will never give up his tyrannical theology, methinks.
Inslee is assh*e.
In summer 2020, when I ran into Kramer (Seinfeld’s Michael Richards) inside a grocery store in a dusty, rural Vermont town, I knew I wasn’t in Kansas anymore.
Everybody is fleeing civilization now. And who can blame them?
The cancer spreads…..
I was yelled at for not wearing a mask by an employee at the local Nursery. I was outdoors at the time and she even told me I was stupid! I said to her, “You are stupid and brainwashed. And your customer service leaves something to be desired.” Needless to say, I have not been back. The local paper said 80 percent of my County is vaxxed so there shouldn’t be a problem with Covid this winter. If they are all vaxxed why are they still so uptight.
Very liberal area here in Norcal.
They are not only vaxxed they’re vexed also
South of Phoenix here. Neither wife or I have taken the kill shot. No requirements in large stores to wear the stinkin’ mask. going to a Justin Moore concert at the Indian res on Nov 5 and masks are required. ‘Bought the tickets in June thinking this crap would have passed -not on the res. About town folks leave me alone. Maybe because I open carry.
The Reservations are 100% Democrat supporters and Democrat voters.
The Reservations had draconian lockdowns compared to the rest of the State. I actually spoke with an Apache man about what the Reservation was requiring for lockdown. Like living in Eastern Germany.
A lot of Indian tribes have high rates of diabetes, a big risk factor for COVID severity. Not surprised if they are more restrictive. It would be better to focus on improving health and lowering blood sugar with exercise and diet, but too many want to take the easy path of just popping pills. Pharma is happy to have them do it too.
The vaxxed will be more at risk this winter than the unvaxxed, due to the vaxxed having compromised immune systems. So when they get a mild cold, it will turn into pneumonia very quickly.
Sadly, you may prove right about that Cole.
I wonder whether the early interventions like Zinc, Ivermectin and vitamins would get the vaxxed through a Covid infection? These therapeutics are already proven to save the UNvaxxed with compromised immune systems.
If only the vaxxed knew enough to stock their medicine cabinets, instead of relying on msm lies that get them killed.
Leftist, not liberal.
Where? That’s the whole point of this thread.
I am in northern California (Norcal) about 50 miles north of San Francisco. There are conservatives around but not many.
I live /work in Olympia WA.
In the timber industry. I have a few friends and colleagues who have recently caught the China flu. They have survived. Both in their 60’s
Most everyone hates Inslee. He’s an idiot who claims God like powers by granting himself emergency powers ad infinitum.
We don’t have a Republican party with the intestinal fortitude willing to fight him on this and many other issues.
Our entire State Legislature here in Washington has totally abdicated all power to Inslee the idiot and he is running with it like the deranged narcissist that he has always been. He has been seeking this kind of power his entire career but was always in the “also-ran” category, due to his obviously low IQ, until this Scamdemic gave him the opportunity to seize control and now he is completely off the chain!!
The fact that no one in the local media will call him out on his blatant lies regarding “the science” is the most concerning part but since almost all the MSM in this state is hard left as well, they are cheering him on!
Totally agree re the fairy governor. Can’t find the link but look at KXLY TV in Spokane for a story about Spokane County Sheriff not even asking his deputies their bs vax status. Spokane County is generally an oasis in the communist state
I am in Texas. Been here 37 years. Don’t have Vax Mandates. The local democratic city governments require masks in their buildings. Stupid! Only knuckleheads wear a mask outside or in their car by themselves. Can’t fix Stupid.
I took the first dose of the vaccine, then heard all the new information. Not taking a leaky vaccine, not doing boosters to make Big Pharma even more money. Family & friends pleaded with me. Turns out I will take my chances without the vaccine. The effectiveness in the low 30’s. Hardly worth it.
I would start on a glutathione, NAC, and C60 regimen if I were you, to help eliminate the toxins from your vax shot. Also Vit.D,C,zinc, and quercetin as Covid preventatives. If possible, get some ivermectin, too. None of those are prohibitively expensive.
Red Cincona bark is natural quinine. (as in HydroxychloroQUINE) Walmart used to sell it in their health supplements department — don’t know if they do now. I ordered it from a herbalist in Greece. You make a tea with the powdered bark, citrus peels and honey. The Cincona tree is on the national flag of Peru, because of it’s efficacy in preventing malaria.
Mondo,
It’s cheaper to just drink tonic water. $0.77 per liter bottle at Kroger and it already has quinine in it. Gin, of course, is optional.
Add lime and ward off scurvy while you’re at it!
I was born in the middle of the 20th century but I am not in a risk group.
I have no co-morbidities and have refused from the start to submit to the fear mongering.
“Covid19” was a deliberate attack and the first totally political “pandemic”.
Many of us felt this from Day 1 (the March 2020 market obliteration) and are even more sure of it today.
There is no way on earth they will inject me. With anything.
In my area I am almost unique in being un”vaccinated”…
I’m in Minnesota. MN-OSHA is almost certainly going to force the mandate on everyone they can.
Top management in my organization says that other similar employers lost 1-3% of staff after establishing a mandate and they expect the same here, if it comes down to it. The board really doesn’t want to – when our area recently went back to “red” the board voted against a masking policy for employees. Staff is currently around 50% vaccinated, which is a little amazing. For some reason, I was thinking that I was in a slim minority, but we really don’t talk about it here, so I had just been assuming and guessing.
The real fun will be seeing the requirements for the testing for the people who opt-out of the shot. Lots of people expect the commies in St. Paul to make the testing requirements needlessly onerous. My girlfriend works for the court system, and if she opts out, she’ll have to drive to a lab ~90 miles away, on her own dime and her own time, weekly. I can’t see any reason for that other than naked brutal coercion – comparable, in my opinion, to the employers offering a year of unpaid leave. My organization is really hoping they can do the tests in-house, but we might not get the choise.
Voluntary mask wearing is very rare here. You might see one person doing it per shopping trip.
I would let them fire me. I won’t take the death jab, and I won’t get tested for the most dangerous virus ever that you need a test to find out you have. The point of the testing is to annoy you to getting the jab, so you don’t have to drive 90 miles once a week. Though, if it a nice drive, and on company time might be worth it.
The company should pay for the gas, too, given the current prices.
Many local moms can’t wait to get their kids vaccinated here in NJ. A common trend is that the moms will feel better knowing that their kid is vaccinated. This isn’t so much about the “benefit” to the vaccine, as its about these women living in a psyop world that made them unreasonably afraid of COVID (likely coupled with virtue signaling).
So, they’re all going to run to get their kid jabbed, and then watch them start to discriminate against the parents who wont get their kids jabbed.
Sad and wrong, on so many levels…
Narcissistic moms like that with their virtue-signaling yard signs about what they “believe” in their house, or that they are “anti-racism,” will absolutely indulge in groupthink and band together to cast out the unvaxxed. They enjoy inflicting pain, it makes them feel superior. This will be the new Salem witch trials. At least they’re poisoning themselves. Sad they’re poisoning their kids.
They sure aren’t going to feel better when their kids get sick from the vax. They will probably feel guilty and they should.
They won’t though…that type never does! They will simply makes excuses and find someone else to blame and then look to the same government officials who caused the problem to “fix” it!!
They will blame the UNvaxxed children for making their kids sick. This is why I never joined Fakebook or any of the cloying social media websites.
I won’t associate with these groupthink morons in virtual reality. It was bad enough having to deal with them in person.
I had a long time customer in Oakland California tell me a month ago that I have to get the vaccine inorder to come on her yard. I said see ya. She called me this morning literally begging for me to pick up her load and take it to Gerogia. Nope- not gonna get the demon vax. She said no no you dont have to. I said let me check my schedule ( making her sweat) Best I can do is Sunday afternoon. But we’re not open Sunday. Then you’ll have to pay me detention I said if its gonna be Monday morning. Ill have somebody there! I can fit you in at 6 a.m.- Make sure they have the coffee and bagels. Um..ok. Didnt tell her Im sitting in Tacoma hehehe.
Karma is a b*thch… These stories make my day!!
Mike, thanks for keeping the road hot and standing strong–a good example for the rest of us!
You are the Best , Mike !
Safe and Happy Trails to You and All Truckers Out There Who Are Making a Difference !
This morning I was reading a thread on a facebook page of laboratory technologists. Post after post of people describing how sick they got from the booster shot. Most of them saying how happy they are because the illnesses caused by their vaccine is proof to them that the vaccine is “working”. I just kept thinking to myself, how f’d up our healthcare system is. It has convinced millions of people that iatrogenic illness is in their best interest. This is just the routine accepted adverse effects. Many of them were sick for days, many of them could not work or function for days. All of them made themselves sick, happily volunteering for their misery. Severe headaches, fevers, chills, muscle aches, swollen lymph nodes, tingling extremities – none of this is seen as illness in their minds. It’s next level gaslighting IMHO.
Good grief! Astounding cognitive dissonance! These symptoms far exceed anything experienced by anyone I know who had the actual illness.
Reporting for Deep blue CT.. So far our Governor has not gone full
Nazi our Governor is a business man so he at least understand the
impacts on small business. He said since
we were one of the state with the highest Vax rates and we did our
part he is not going crazy mandating shots here, there and everywhere..
(at least not yet) School kids are masked
I think it will be mandated for the kids.. the store around here are not crazy
yet with the masks again although I would say about 50 percent of people
now wear them again in the stores.
and other inside buildings.. I think it is mandated for all state buildings..
Churches are open, schools are open we have had lots of our outdoor fall
festivals..and fairs. They leave it up to the organizers to cancel if they choose..
(so far) some of the churches who have
indoor fairs have cancelled and gone on line.
People seem to be enjoying getting to doing fall activites like apple
picking and leaf peeping and our Amusement Park was open this year and
and they are open for Halloween festivites not sure yet if they will open for
Christmas ..the ski areas will open again this year..
I used to go stay in a beautiful resort town near a ski area around the holidays. It is a beautifully decorated Norman Rockwell village. We treated ourselves every year and we spent a pretty penny.
No more.
I won’t spend that kind of money to be muzzled and annoyed, not to mention the poison death shots! I wonder how much business they’ve already lost due to their virtue-signaling intolerance these past two winters?
Suburb south of Pittsburgh – no retail mandates but about 10-20% wear masks to church and grocery stores. I will be retiring early (61) once my large global employer implements vax mandates, even if they allow testing.
Early voting now in Texas. Two COVID related amendments to our Constitution are on the ballot:
“The constitutional amendment to prohibit this state or a political subdivision of this state from prohibiting or limiting religious services of religious organizations.” amend the Texas Constitution to prohibit the state or a political subdivision of the state from enacting, adopting, or issuing a statute, order, proclamation, decision, or rule that prohibited or limited religious services, including services conducted in churches, congregations, and places of worship, in the state by a religious organization established to support and serve the propagation of a sincerely held religious belief.
“The constitutional amendment establishing a right for residents of certain facilities to designate an essential caregiver for in-person visitation.” grant residents of certain long-term care facilities the right to designate an essential caregiver with whom the facility could not prohibit in-person visitation. The proposition would apply to a resident in a nursing facility, assisted living facility, intermediate care facility for individuals with an intellectual disability, residence providing home and community-based services, or state supported living center.
UC,
God bless Texas! You know, you not only have a pretty decent Governor but a great Legislature AND Pappasito’s. Y’all’s cup just runneth the heck over! Not that I’m jealous or anything…
South Central Kansas, just outside the Air Cap in my small city things are a mix. Most don’t don a mask and most have no signs one way or another on either masks or vax. Though I see individuals working in stores that have a mask and may pull it up when someone approaches them. Once in a great while I’ll see someone alone in their car with a mask. And just a bit more than a week ago a guy riding his bike alone in front of my house was wearing a mask.
My Dr and Dentist still are playing the stay in the parking lot in your car game. I quit that and told them so. I guess once your temp is taken in your car they allow you in but demand masks. Was told by the Dr’s office if you’re vaxxed you can remove it once in a room. Which seemed to me to be pretty uninformed what with a good number of vaxxed still getting infected and are spreading the virus.
I’m self employed in Salt Lake City Utah, and there has been virtually no impact on my life in regards to vaccines. My husband is an airline pilot, but so far his company has not even hinted at requiring vaccines.
On Long Island (Suffolk County- Trump country) we are pretty much back to normal…. except kids need to wear masks in schools. My sons go to Catholic School and the rule is very lax.. no one is stressing…. church is mask optional.
We can go to restaurants and stores.. no issues.. NYC like 20 miles away a whole new world.. a mess with homeless and crime (no cash bail)… can’t go in any restaurant, gym, store, etc… without a vaccine card.. and I’m sure you heard on the news how Police, Fire and EMT are protesting the mandate that Di Blasio put in place a week or 2 ago for first responders….. Come Monday crime in NYC will get worse if they don’t work this out…. .. So I stay on Long Island and skip the City- which i hate anyway
Nailed it on Suffolk County! All we need now is to break away and become our own state. Sad part is a lot of those city police , firemen, sanitation workers, EMS are our neighbors and what they are doing to them is disgusting! The ones who were afraid and stayed home last year received, money, unemployment, etc. Those who braved to go to work get nothing but a firing!
You are correct. Their policies *intentionally* reward slackers and parasites and punish/
discourage those who work hard to accomplish higher goals.
Totalitarians do not tolerate people who strive for excellence. Their policies reduce us all to the role of pack animals, slaves and mindless drones. They do this to maintain absolute control.
I live in Live Free or Die state (NH) and we are the only state to refuse federal funds to set up a vaccine promotion bureau. Our illustrious governor (Sununu) is still trying to find ways to weasel around our legislature and executive council who have both blocked vaccine mandates. It is hard to say how many remain un-vaxxed because many here refuse to discuss which is the way it should be. Meanwhile a friend of mine monitors the growing number of deaths in persons under 60 that has risen sharply from previous years once vaccinations rolled out. I remain dumbfounded why anyone would want to get vaccinated with experimental gene therapy when the morbidity rate is so low and natural immunity so much safer. But then again many Germans thought Hitler was going to deliver a Utopia even in the last months of the Third Reich. One of Hitler’s favorite sayings was: ‘The world wants to be deceived so let it be deceived.’
GA Reporting: Southern Suburb, I frequent places that don’t require a mask, which is almost everywhere now including the dentist’s office. Store shelves are currently stocked, however, we are sourcing butchers and farmers when & where we can to “live locally”.
Addendum: The other major airline based in Texas (not Southwest) employees’ will be picketing next week. There are MANY more pilots & Flight Attendants who do NOT wish to be EUA “shot” (I refuse to call this a vaxx) than anyone is letting on or even aware of. Having lived through multiple bankruptcies in our industry/at our carrier, our retirement is 2/3 less than what we originally counted on it to be. I know alot of folks disparage the airlines, but we (like my policeman father as well as firefighters etc.) love(d) what we do (or used to anyway before onboard mask mandates) and our industry is build around seniority, so picking up and starting over is not really an option after the first couple of years. Please pray for us as we stand strong. Psalm 142 has been a comfort.
Stand strong. We are God’s children. We are made in His image and our bodies are the temple of the living God.
“Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit lives in you? If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him; for God’s temple is sacred, and you are that temple.”
1 Corinthians 3:16-17
In a small Texas town. Our county is republican. No mask mandates. Local grocery store has employees wearing masks. Other than that hardly see anyone with one on.
Gas is creeping up. Food is up but shelves are full. You’d never know any of this crap was going on if someone didn’t mention it.
Work for a republican and all employees are but one. She took the vax for a gift card. ? But she’s young and nonpolitical.
Just living life. Storing and stocking up. Just waiting on Jesus to come and get us.
Hope it’s soon.
So far in Sioux Falls South Dakota everything is voluntary, seems maybe 25% insist on being seen wearing the mask.
Get about twenty miles out of Sioux Falls, that percentage drops off almost as fast as the vaccine efficiency.
I’m down by Parker, and every high school event I’ve attended this year has had maybe 1 or 2 mask-wearers. We’re done with it. Seeing all the masks when I go to Sioux Falls or Vermillion just makes me shake my head.
Here in Iowa, things look pretty normal…..but our Governor has been a bit of an unsung hero throughout on COVID.
prairie,i’m in n.w. iowa and i would say more like maybe 10% maskers, even the gov offices have dropped the masks.my step daughter was over this morning, she had to get the vax for work and got her 2nd shot day after xmas, and she said she knows for a fact the vax has changed her, always tired her periods are extreme ,hasn’t had a normal one since the vax and seems to catch colds easier, said no way in hell is she getting a booster shot.i see the iowa house and senate passed legislation to ban vax mandates and IF you are fired for refusing the vax you can receive unemployment benefits, don’t now if reynolds has signed it yet but hope she does.
For you people thinking of escaping to the free state of Florida. Please fix the mess you created in your own state. Florida is bursting at the seams and by the time you get here it will be a SH. FJB!
Then you’re just going to have to annex Indiana as “North Florida.”
Either that or arrange a temporary Governor swap program; every red state gets DeSantis for a two weeks on a rotating basis.
Precisely. No uncontested territory surrendered to the totalitarians. Have a little over 50 acres in blue Benton County Oregon that is as free as anyplace in Florida. We can make the entire US in to Florida (minus the bugs, gators, humidity) and Floridians will cheer our activities.
Don’t be too complacent. DeSantis barely eked out his last win. The people who are fleeing commie states have the same political outlook as you do. If I were you, I would welcome reinforcements. ??
East Central Florida, even democrat Orange County has dropped their mask mandate. Some people wear masks, from the elderly to college students. Just as many not wearing masks. Florida has 9 cases per 100,000 people and those are likely cold like symptoms. Companies like Walmart mandate masks for employees, there is no science, it’s all politics. However Walmart has not said anything yet about mandatory vaccines for employees. They have to beat the bushes to find cases. It’s getting more difficult to keep the covid fear fire burning at least around here.
I’m in the great state of Utah. Everything is going well here, with about 1800 new cases a day, very few masking up NO VAX mandates even in liberal Salt Lake County. I get the feeling people are just sick of it all. But we still have the pearl clutches about screaming about everything. Cheers
Canadian snowbirds fully injected trickling into SWFL RV parks. Some too scared to leave their RV pad and are wearing masks outside. Those brave enuf to venture out are too scared to eat indoors so are dining outside only. Still too early for them to get acclimated to The Oasis of Freedom.
Moved to Texas from Orange County, California nearly six months ago. Not much difference, believe it or not. Orange County is the center of the Covid resistance measures in California…only wore a mask the first ten days of the outbreak. No one ever hassled you there.
Here in Texas, you seldom see anyone wearing a mask outside of minorities and idiot Democrats. I did laugh pretty hard the other day – a guy was playing golf by himself one hole ahead of me and had a mask on. I almost yelled “Let’s Go Brandon!”.
We moved to West Lafayette, IN five months ago. We moved from eastern Washington. Yes there is a big difference between eastern and western Washington for sure. My experience so far is that the vaxxed and unvaxxed are working together fine. People accept it is a personal choice. This opinion is based on many conversations I’ve had with friends and neighbors here. Indiana banned vaccine mandates among state agencies. However, they left the decision up to private businesses. They did this before Biden’s mandate on private businesses with 100 plus employees. These mandates are BS. Purdue and I believe a few other colleges are requiring vaccination or testing. Again, BS.
Here on Long Island NY we have a lot of vaxxed who were feeling pretty cocky in their choice, until they all started to fall sick with Covid.
Now they’re starting to see there is no difference between those who were injected and those who were not. They are definitely not as confident. They seem worried.
Plus, they see their neighbors fighting the mandate tooth and nail. Hard to argue with the healthcare workers and first responders.
I’ll bet that some of these people are rethinking the boosters. BIGLY.
This is a comment not on vaccination but on masks.
I just got back from trade shows in Charlotte NC and Memphis TN. Charlotte had signs all over saying the law required masks indoors and even had employees standing around the convention center holding signs saying to wear masks. No one did. The one in Memphis was at a hotel. Similar signs. Virtually no mask wearing except the very elderly. At neither venue was there any serious attempt made to enforce the masks.
This was for an industry that tends conservative but it shows that if you have hundreds of people from out of town refusing to wear masks, what exactly are you going to do? Apparently they value the income more than the control ultimately.
Follow up:
Locally, semi-rural area north of Dallas. Shelves not at full capacity but not empty. Guns and ammo are back on shelves in Academy and of course at regular gun stores.
I live in the Chelan Washington area. Always trying not to wear any mask. I will most times be the only one not wearing one in Safeway and Wally World. But I do not go at peak times either. The ones I mostly see are big rought looking men and young to middle age very fit women. Iam 80 and do see some about my same age but rare. We have had a big influx from the ‘left coast’ where their mind set is still on the coast. I do find 90 per cent have not done any reseach on any of the pressing topics. I shot my tv (Thanks Elvis!) and it was the best thing I have done in years. Hard to get out of group think if one is exposed to that crap on a daily basis…….
Central CO/I-25 corridor here. Outside of the UC Health outrage (denying life-saving kidney transplant to final stage recipient) and school district 20 in C. Springs force masking students using duct tape, the leftists are atypically quiet. Almost everything is mask mandate free, however employees/workers on the job do wear masks in about 2/3 of all businesses. We are at the time of year where leftists have to hide who they are and appear as moderates in voice and deed (but not thought). Next week Coloradans throughout the state will be voting on several measures on the ballot, but more importantly, school board elections as well. There are numerous leftist incumbents who must be voted out and media coverage has been low given the high visibility of the AG memo hearings and parents waking up and reacting to what’s really happening in schools. For those of you interested in finding out who/what to support that isn’t RINO or leftist, I encourage you to look more at who/what the local/regional democrat party is backing and reverse engineer from there. That info is always out there. Conservative/MAGA doesn’t quite seem to turn up in any useful way through internet search.
N GA. Virtually no masks. In local Publix 90% unmasked mostly employees. Same in restaurants, no masks. I haven’t worn a mask in over a year and when I did it was seldom, Dr’s office, at the height of the lunacy aka the Wuhan Con.
NC dimm gov. has mandated vex for state workers, republican state senate leader phil berger has given his approval. am hoping to throw his ass out of office soon.
Wonder how much Berger has profited from his BigPharma investments and political donations from Big Pharma.
Unfortunately, NC’s Gen Assembly, ONCE a super majority have seen their numbers decrease and have continued to follow a path of destruction. Won’t be surprised the Dem takeover of the NC Gen Assembly and ALL the fault of the R’s themselves. They have become quite smitten with DC’s do-nothing, moderate to liberal republicans. ALL-IN on this GREEN ENERGY as well….And, we know what takes place when Dems take over…it’s been a disaster with Gov, under which we remain UNDER a State of Emergency…..and under his tyrannical rule. Council of State, NOT in favor of SOE and have voted so numerous times to no avail…..
.
I live in AZ and have been relatively unaffected by ‘rules, mandates, recommendations’ in that I have gone about my regular schedule without hardly a blip these last 20 months.
I went to CA a little over a year ago, and observed how uptight people were as a waltzed around without a mask.
Just recently I took a drive to my home state. Gas was a full $1/gal higher than AZ.
I did not visit either of the large cities in said state; the small towns were mask free . . . EXCEPT for medical establishments where they said they were required.
Since I was accompanying my 90+ year old parent to two of these establishments, out of deference to my family, I wore a mask into two medical offices.
My parents had four children — two of us are vehemently anti-insertion of whatever this concoction is, and the both of us have ‘survived’ having coved.
The other two have been vaccinated; one due to job, one due to ‘science worship’.
Other than the medical offices, I did not see anyone with masks on . . .
Driving home, I decided to drive through a small town (rather than take the shortcut around) and observed a business with an electronic sign on it. I am not sure exactly what the business was in business for, because all I noticed on that electronic sign was the message:
Let’s Go, Brandon!
Biden is still trying to figure out who this Brandon guy is and why he seems to be so popular.
I grew up in Eastern Washington
It is decidedly more conservative than the Western half of the state
I lived for a brief time in a suburb of Seattle
It was like being behind enemy lines
In 2006 fled to a red state just so I could breath
Reading a lot of the posts. Thanks Treepers. This is very uplifitng to read how Americans all across our great county are not compllying. A general feeling of “let’s be free” seems to be the narrative.
Thanks for this thread.
What Covid?
Los Angeles here…..
Had 6 in-person bus. meetings this week, all but one were “rip off the mask immed’ly” after confirming the other party wasn’t concerned/worried. Only one of 6 did not, and she also wore a face shield and gloves. NUTTY.
Tulare County, CA here, in the central San Joaquin Valley. We’re pretty much back to pre-covid here. No masks required, no covid passports. Everything is open.
Last Saturday I had occasion to call the Sheriff’s Dept. I live out of town and a neighbor who is not a legal resident decided to have another blowout party, 4th in 4 weeks, and I just couldn’t take another 10 hours of blaring Mexican music. The deputy told me the county had abolished their noise ordinance so not much could be done at present. I relayed the information to my retired marine neighbor, who lives next door to said noise offender. God bless the marines. He put up an old civil defense horn he has and turned it on. Very LOUD. We listened to that for about an hour before he shut it down. He called it Redneck Revenge. It worked. But while on the phone with the Deputy I asked if our Sheriff was still adamant about refusing to enforce Newsom’s dictates. Absolutely, he said. The Sheriff will not enforce any edict that was not passed by the state legislature and signed by the governor.
There are lots of little towns that are not incorporated so if the mandates occur in the incorporated cities I will just shop out of town.
My biggest concern at this time is INFLATION. As long as you stay out of the big box stores there don’t seem to be any shortages…yet.
I asked my dr for a medical exemption for masks. He agreed but urged me to get vexed. Or vaxated. Not sure of the proper clinical term. On my last visit the office Karens got very twitipated – You have to wear a mask! No I don’t, I have an exemption. What is it? I’m not required to disclose confidential medical information per HIPAA. Who gave you this exemption? That guy. Oh..well.. My doc has gotten the jab, all the people in that health system have to. Now he’s been out for weeks which is unheard of for him, especially in the middle of a Global Pandemic. I think he’s sick from the shot, maybe dying. Most of the people here (MA) got jabbed without a second thought. It’s a consensus state, everybody agrees about absolutely everything that issues from The State as long as it makes no sense. So nobody asks about my jab status. On a few occasions people have said something about my not wearing a mask. I just glare at them. Get away from me
“Jabbed” is the clinical term.
MA is completely full of sheep. At least 80%. Hard to believe this place was a cradle of the American Revolution. I’m astounded at the compliance and pussiness I see around here.
Our leftist mayor in Grants Pass OR, wants the city’s residents 100% vaxxed and is floating the idea of dedicating $75,000 of the city budget to offer a $100 VISA gift card as a bri…er…incentive for 42% who continue to be reluctant to be jabbed. Evidently the current bri….incentive of a $25 VISA gift card hasn’t been sufficient.
Maybe she should offer $450,000 each.
If its good enough to offer to invaders, its good enough to offer to get 100% of residents jabbed!
In Skowhegan Maine , at the subsided housing subdivision many sheep in tiny apartment’s, cramped spaces, everyone has an emotional support dog even the cats are hunchbacked, they don’t even meow anymore , Biden keeps giving out money, yesterday 11 hundred dollars on our food snack card and it’s not even mother’s day, at the subdivision mother’s day is the first of every month, everyone else got massive food snacks too along with CTC , the sheep here are in party mode , per Capita 70% vaccinated, masked, sheep are participating, jumping up and down, narcan ing ,ODs, drunkenness, domestic violence, all the sheep are on
Thorazine, or Mellaril, they don’t walk they just glide in and out of the liquor store,
Alan’s coffee Brandy WIC milk as the mixer , police are straight out on 911 mis dials, at the Walmart old people getting vaxxed, when we look at them our feet start turning corners before we do , it’s crazy town, I just heard a loud crash and a scream coming from 18 , some one call 911…
In mid-coast Maine a little farther south in Bath, the delta variant is still quite active and vaccines don’t appear to help, but harm.
