Sheriff’s offices surrounding the metropolitan area of Chicago are stating they will not send their officers to cover the shortfall in city police officers as an outcome of the vaccine mandate. Keep in mind the elected county sheriff is the highest constitutional officer inside each region.
Chicago Mayor Lightfoot has released all the city officers who refused the vaccine mandate. Factually it makes no sense according to DuPage County Sheriff James Mendrick, who points out that his office does not have mandatory vaccines and as a result could only be providing assistance with officers who may or may not be vaccinated.
“It doesn’t make sense to say, ‘I only want my residents touching vaccinated people, but I’m going to send all these potentially unvaccinated people from other municipalities to replace them,’” Mendrick said.
CHICAGO – Two suburban sheriffs said they would not send their deputies to Chicago to help with potential staffing shortages amid a feud between the mayor and a police union surrounding vaccine mandates.
Kane County Sheriff Ron Hain (D) told the Chicago Tribune he did not “feel like the onus is on us to go in there in an emergency situation that was created by poor government and a lack of support the officers receive.”
Similarly, Kendall County Sheriff Dwight Baird (R) said he was not willing to put his officers at risk to respond to Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot’s (D) “self-induced emergency,” the Tribune reported. (read more)
Mayor Lightfoot claims that vaccinated people in Chicago cannot carry and/or transmit the COVID-19 virus. As a result, she feels the police have a public obligation to get vaccinated so they do not carry the virus in the community. The mayor has stated she does not want her community exposed to first-responders who may carry the virus, and the vaccination is the only way to eliminate that concern. The policy of the mayor is grounded in a claim that is totally and utterly refuted by all science. Vaccinated people carry, transmit and shed the SARS-CoV-2 virus just like non-vaccinated people. Actually, there is scientific evidence that vaccinated people who contract the virus (so called “breakthrough cases”) factually end up with a much higher viral load, and shed the virus at a much higher rate than non-vaccinated persons.
As a result, a genuine public health policy would be the exact opposite of what Lightfoot is claiming. If you wanted to keep exposure to the virus at a minimum for those in the public who encounter first-responders, it would actually be better policy to have first-responders be unvaccinated. The unvaccinated are less of a risk to the general population by a factual outcome of their carrying/shedding less virus.
In another policy maneuver to force the police to get vaccinated, “Chicago Police Superintendent David O. Brown said that those officers who do choose to retire rather than follow City Hall’s orders “may be denied retirement credentials.” (link) Chicago police officials made it clear on Thursday that officers who refused to comply with the city’s mandate risk being disciplined or fired.

The entire health care system is already based around Medicare. A family member has worked for a large health care company, in private health care and medicare. Health insurance, medicare (the government), and hospitals are intimately tied together. Hospitals are all in on covid. If they don’t toe the line their rating within the healthcare system (the government) falls and they get paid less for everything.

There’s not enough military to hold more than one or two major cities; I’ve heard from people that if push came to shove the entire US military could barely hold D.C. from an actively hostile population.
Per the US Governments own websites, INCLUDING the National Guard our military has 1,005,725 total uniformed personnel and 252,747 civilian personnel. This is before the firings and does not distinguish combat troops from the support personnel, who, while trained, are needed to keep the combat troops actually able to function in the field.
US Military doctrine estimates 13.26 boots on the ground per thousand members of a local population to effectively police it. It doesn’t count the tail part of the operation needed to keep those boots on the ground which, even at our Military’s most efficient is still 3 tail per 1 tooth.
That means roughly 53 military personnel per 1000 population to keep order. They currently have enough troops to police about 20 million people. If the Red State National Guard don’t show up, that number drops to about 10 million.
The DC Metro area is 6.4 million and the New York City Metro is over 23 million or beyond what they could even hope to handle with every single guard unit called up to police it.
Sure they could bomb the Red States to hell and back, but to actually HOLD anything beyond DC and selected East Coast strongholds… our Military just doesn’t have the manpower.
And that’s before you count defections and those kicked out for failing to comply with the Covid-mandates.

The county sheriff is not a US Constitutional office. It falls under state constitutions and sheriffs have varying powers among the different states. Two states do not have sheriffs and a third only had deputy sheriffs that answer to the Department of Public Safety for the state.
If a sheriff is elected, not appointed, they are the highest elected official in the county in the state of North Carolina.

For one thing, it is entirely unconstitutional, which is perhaps why the statement has not been confirmed. There is ample case law from the 50’s and 60’s to support the officers and according to a constitutional lawyer I heard speak on this, it was a “liberal” court at the time.

I have to keep reminding myself that the things we’re experiencing now are a direct result of steps taken by those pulling the strings – the outcome they intend has been coming for years which means we had to arrive at this point and endure these changes.
I’m saddened by the damage and disruption that’s being caused but without it we’d have less people awakening to what’s really going on.
I’ve been called a conspiracy theorist for so many years now it has become boring but, now that those “theories” are becoming real, other people are finding it difficult to ignore. Those who paid no attention can’t avoid it anymore.
The hand of self-appointed puppet-masters has been vastly overplayed over the last two years – when you pull so many rugs out from under people that they find themselves on the floor in a daze, they’ll often ask who, what, why, how, and where?
In the larger scheme of things, all this had to happen – I’m at least thankful that it’s happening so quickly (boiling frogs are leaping out – a bit scalded and scared, but with open eyes)
The powers that be have to know this.
When you spend so much energy and resources on corruption, deceit, and gaslighting that you have to “cancel” anyone who contradicts your messaging but (despite continued efforts requiring greater imposition and more deceit, corruption, and gaslighting) people continue speaking out, you must know that your efforts are futile.
No matter how many polls they put out, elections they steal, jobs/lives they destroy, or how much massaging of reality they do they must realize that the great mass of people are against their aims.
They’d be so much better off sacrificing a few key players and laying low for a while, but history has shown they’ll keep doubling-down. Sitting in an echo chamber at the end of an isolated tunnel with rose-colored glasses on making yet one more destined-to-backfire move is remarkably short-sighted for people playing such a long game.
Paper power is still just paper – it doesn’t even have to be rewritten to be ignored. Unfortunately, I think it’ll have to be burned and a lot of innocents will be harmed in the process. So many times throughout history this has happened, and we’re going through it yet again…

Can someone explain to me how an elected public official could make statement that are out and out false and she is ignorant and or intentional to the ‘real’ science and her actions are criminal! I guess “allowed” is the operative term. We allow public officials to lie by extension because those who are being paid with funds stolen from us so they’ll hold those officials accountable instead allow them to continue lying in order to maintain that flow of funds.
It’s like medieval times – build a castle with a dungeon and use a paid force to control the resources and behaviors of productive people. If they don’t comply you exile them, place them in your dungeon, or kill them.

I think a lot of people know this cannot last so they’re just waiting for the collapse. Once that occurs we’ll be able to get out from under tyranny because all of their imposed debt and manipulative control goes “poof.”
We’ll be either a renewed United States or a collection of neighboring States (or a communist dystopia, but I don’t think that’ll fly – too many burdened people looking to remove their shackles already, and they know who’s shackling them.)
