The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) advisory group who evaluate the efficacy and safety of vaccines have rejected the request for Pfizer booster shots. However, the White House – desperately trying to push as many needle jabs as possible – was already on track to begin giving booster shots this month. The implication here is that the White House was not following the recommendations of the FDA or the science.
WASHINGTON DC – A U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) advisory panel voted Friday against approval of Pfizer (PFE)/BioNTech’s (BNTX) third dose for the U.S.
The vote comes after a heated debate in recent weeks over the need for booster or additional shots, which both mRNA companies — Pfizer and Moderna (MRNA) — have advocated for.
Dr. Peter Marks, the FDA’s leading expert on vaccines, touched on the controversy in his introductory remarks. “We know that there may be differing opinions of the interpretation of the data regarding the potential need for additional doses, and we strongly encourage all the different viewpoints to be voiced and discussed regarding the data, which is complex, and evolving,” Marks said.
He added the meeting focused on almost real-time analyses compared to what is happening in the world, and the goal remains slowing the spread of COVID-19, which is killing almost 2,000 Americans daily.
The question the advisory panel was given to consider only used the U.S. data, a small dataset, despite the presentations including data from the U.K. and Israel.
Marks instructed the panel to consider all the data, noting, “This is not a legal proceeding, this is a science proceeding, so you can take all the data into account.”
The meeting precedes a September 20 start date for additional doses, announced last month by the White House COVID-19 Response Team, despite U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) data showing some Americans are already receiving third doses. Last month, the CDC recommended additional doses for immunocompromised people.
A CDC advisory panel will meet next week to discuss recommendations for who should receive a booster dose. (read more)
This happens on the same day the CDC announces a study [Data Here] showing the Moderna vaccine remained stronger in protecting against hospitalization compared to Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson (JNJ).
Among U.S. adults without immunocompromising conditions, vaccine effectiveness against COVID-19 hospitalization during March 11–August 15, 2021, was higher for the Moderna vaccine (93%) than the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine (88%) and the Janssen vaccine (71%). (link)
However, Moderna has now highlighted their own diminished benefit study [DATA HERE] showing the vaccine effectiveness wanes after 8 months:
[…] “In the analysis, 88 breakthrough cases of COVID-19 occurred in the more recently vaccinated group (49.0 cases per 1000 person-years) compared to 162 cases in the group vaccinated last year (77.1 cases per 1000 person-years). The reduction in incidence rates for participants vaccinated more recently compared to participants vaccinated last year was 36% (95% CI: 17-52%). A Cox proportional hazards model showed similar results after adjusting for age and risk factors for severe COVID-19. Fortunately, only 19 severe cases were observed. While not significant, there was a numerical trend towards a lower rate of severe cases in the group vaccinated more recently (3.3 per 1000 person-years) compared to the group vaccinated last year (6.2 per 1000 person-years).” (read more)

Make sure you and that designee are of the SAME mindset and opinions all the way down the list of potential treatment protocols and medications – all suggestions that may be recommended by corrupt money-seeking hospital doctors, PA’s and nursing staff.

I am 86, have never visited a Doctor or Hospital other than for broken bones, have never had any “shots” outside of those given in my childhood, had a ‘Flu’ at the beginning of Sept…. am ‘back at it’ just fine… never worn a face diaper, social-distanced, or any of the crap they have dished out… believe in your immune system…. herd immunity is the ONLY thing that will beat a virus.

The 40% budget based on user fees is true but the fees only guarantee that the review will be completed by a statutory deadline. It allows FDA to hire sufficient staff to do the reviews in the time frame negotiated between FDA and Pharma.
I worked at FDA during the partial shutdown and FDA continued to work on the basis of the user fees charged under the PDUFA law.
Are you willing to fund those $2 billion from taxes to make that “conflict of interest” go away? I bet not. Congress has never been willing to pay for it.
By the way, every FDA employee has to account for every 15 minute increment of their time to satisfy the demands of industry that pays the user fees. They want to know how many hours of time are spent on their INDs, meetings, and drug approvals. This gets reviewed and audited every 5 years when the arrangement is renegotiated.
FDA employees have more accountability for their time and effort than any other civilian agency, whether you want to believe it or not.
If it were not for the user fees, they would do it the way the old timers told me they did it: put the application on the shelf and get to it 6 months later if the had the time.

I read somewhere, recently, that the “funding” figure was 75%… or, was that figure just Pfizer’s contribution?
I only had seen 40 but who knows if they like to grease the wheels now and then. Especially considering how Pfizer has been extremely aggressive in their contracts.
FDA budget is $5B. Government appropriation is $3B. The $2B is user fees. This gets jiggled around by Congress saying certain kinds of drugs for certain diseases don’t pay user fees.
Seems some independent “Concierge” medical providers are gearing up to provide everything (Ivermectin, HCQ, Monoclonal Antibioties, antibiotics) but the ventilator outpatient. Look for one in your area before you need it.
You can get those prescriptions but, pharmacies are NOT filling them.

I wanted her to do it because it was important that I not be pushy about it …It’s a principle thing. I showed her the information, how to order it..and we stayed up late and walked her through the process. 8 days later her prescription was filled locally…..the full entire therapeutic suite of medicines and vitamins including a/biotic. With full instructions and when and how to take the medicines.
She was nervous about the entire thing. My mother is in the risk segment.
She doesn’t understand any of this. I told her the very best medicine is to just stop watching television and get back into what she loves doing. Experimenting with recipes. Working in the greenhouse preparing for winter vegetable rooting…etc.
One day we are all going to get old. We will all need someone to help out and have our best interests as priority.

I would encourage everyone to seriously think about what you can do for neighbors, friends and associates. Many old folks do not have dependable family…It is very stressful for lots of people right now. It must really freak lots of people out wondering what and how to react to all this hysteria.

I meant in relation to Covid but yes, I believe it was discovered in Japan but has been used mostly in African countries.

There are endless questions about the effectiveness of the original vaccine, endless. Over 200 million have been vaccinated in the US over the past year and Covid case rates are 400% higher than a year ago when no one was vaccinated. Every single place in the world that has instituted the vaccine has seen a rise in both case numbers and deaths. Recent data is showing a negative effective rate for the vaccine, meaning if you are vaccinated you are more likely to contract Covid than the unvaccinated. Also, the alternative treatments are much more effective and have little to no side effects at a fraction of the cost. India has obliterated Covid the use of Ivermectin, a 97% reduction in case numbers in 4 weeks. This is also true for Mexico City and Peru.
The fact is, the vaccine has been a colossal failure in every regard. It’s leaky, non-sterilizing and it is impossible to prove that it alleviates severity or suffering.
Please NOTE, also (as Sundance has) that the test results of the placebo test group, HAVE BEEN “DISAPPEARED”…. I do not need to wonder why…

In BOTH phase 3 miracle “studies” the drug companies BROKE FROM ALL ETHICAL AND SCIENTIFIC PROTOCOLS AND OFFERED THE CONTROL THE VAX ….The excuse? it would be unethical to deny them a vax in a pandemic.
Sounds pretty moral and ethical to you? Well, maybe not.
see the purpose of a phase 3 is several things..and all of them have a MUCH HIGHER ETHICAL CONCERN THAN EVEN THE VERY LIVES OF THOSE WHO VOLUNTEER TO BE PARTICIPANTS. (yes, that IS the deal…you actually sign up with the agreement and understanding that you will not be allowed to receive the drug if you are in control group even if the drug proves to be preliminary safe and effective!)
lets begin with the higher ethical purposes served:
efficacy…does the vax work better than the control/placebo..how long?
safety….does the vax work without causing harm..and it does cause harm is it acceptable compared to the proven threat of the pathogen.
and finally…how well do both groups fair compared to another set of baseline non-study participants. this is like a “sanity” check. This allows the scientific method to be falsified…You are comparing both groups to an entirely different set of people whom are surveilled widely during and after the study…for example…if your control and placebo are x…what is x for the non study group? is it a statistical reasonable correlation. if not, you know something is profounding wrong about your study…
and here is what most people either forgot or did not have the time to actually notice:
there WAS NOT 3 group baseline study associated or studied for a “sanity” check to compare against the study 2 segment groups. None. There as no effort whatsoever to learn how natural immunity was achieved and how well that compared (or not) to the vax study…So that is a huge big problem. without this scientific data, there is no method to falsify the study..no sanity check…means subjectivity and bias is not removed.
second. By allowing the control to get the jab …AT ANY TIME…means there is no way to differentiate between control and placebo. None. This is a very big no no. I know it might sounds unmerciful to refuse to allow the control the vax, if such a vax might work…but that’s the deal..that’s the deal, because that is how you do science..that is how to proceed to learning if a drug works and for how long and what are the little details and nuances….this is science…this is how you save lives..this is how you develop drugs that work..phase 3 studies over the last 50 years or so (give or take) have only a 30 percent success rate…generally, by the time they get to phase 2, there is plenty of evidence to suggest whether human trials should even happen. This was not the case with mRNA..it went from p1 to p3 in record time without batting an eyeball..and every firewall to protect the science was abandoned.
Now..KNOWING THE FACTS…understand your reality was shaped by political and financial voices who were selling you bullshit. They cut corners…the dropped and then SPIKED the ball.

Who orders millions of shots before knowing if they can be used? Unless, one other possibility: the “newly purchased” boosters are nothing more than the extra vaccine they didn’t expect 25% of Americans to reject. Maybe Biden ans Pfizer couldn’t decide who would eat the cost of unused vaccines and cooked up the “boosters”

On another post, I mentioned a trip to Lansing, MI when our GOP chapter was invited to see governor Snyder give the State of the State address. When I was about a week away from getting my second moderna shot I began to feel a cold coming on. I wondered what would happen if I were too sick to get the second shot. When I looked for info I came across something that said the second moderna is really just a “Booster” to the first shot. I was able to get my second shot on schedule, but I have wondered what happens if you only get the first. One thing is for sure, I am not getting a third.
I am worried about my future health now because I know the possibilities of bad outcomes from the shot. (I actually knew a lot of this before I got the shot and wanted to wait to see what happened.)
I regret giving in and getting it but that is water under the bridge now. I was a very healthy 68 year old with no need of medications, not even thyroid which seems to be a big thing among my friends. It makes me sad to realize I may have really damaged my immune system. I have vitamin D3, Vitamin C, Zinc and Quercitin and I have saved the info on how to get Ivermectin if needed.
Some guy that was kicked off of twitter says he has a “vaccine reversal”. I haven’t had a chance to listen to it and I’m not on telegram. But check it out and see what’s up with it, it involves niacin and melatonin, also being touted as a Covid treatment. It is intriguing enough for me to see more what he’s talking about.

I think his regime is high doses of each and if you balance it correctly, you will not get any flushing nor sleepiness. Ivermectin works for more than just Covid. I had a fever and cough a few weeks ago and took a couple of doses of IVM two days apart. I felt rotten the day after the first dose, but even before taking the second dose, I felt better. I had no further illness after the second dose.
Since flu has vanished from the Earth, my wife and I assumed that what I had was Covid. However, I recently donated red blood cells, and their test of my blood showed no Covid antibodies. This means that I have not had Covid in the 18 months since this “pandemic” started. I don’t know how this is possible since I am exposed to every virus that comes around, being a college professor.
Yesterday night I came down with something that filled my lungs with phlegm, caused a terrible, gut wrenching cough, and an energy sapping lethargy. I had the same question a few weeks ago.
At the time, the WH was touting the ability to have “boosters” “widely available” by mid-September. Since there was already a glut of “regular” doses available at that time (demand had plateaued) this led me to ask if the boosters were different (otherwise, the “regular” doses could have been used as “boosters.”
Never got the issue cleared up.
I have heard several docs say that the “boosters” are ‘more of the same’ ….. not modified for Delta. The original ‘wild’ Covid has been gone for months …. Delta is dominant now. So what you are getting is more spike protein injected on top of what you’ve already gotten. But … but…. but …. the spike stays in your arm muscle, doesn’t travel anywhere else in your body, gets ripped up & goes away … right? /S

I saw my internist for my annual visit this afternoon.
Not once did the word “vaccine” come up. Not once was the term “COVID” mentioned.
He was among the group of 100 local doctors who a couple of weeks ago signed an open letter encouraging people to get vaxxed. The letter itself was not one that said that we all would die without the vaxx. It was not a hard sell tactic at all.
I was ready to tell him that taking the current vaxx which is against the wild type virus would not make sense when our area is saturated with the delta variant. That would be like taking last year’s flu vaxx this year. No problem. He did not pester me.

The vaccine doesn’t “wear out”. Once it’s injected, your cells continue to stamp out replicas of the spike protein. Arguably, the mRNA template used is distributed throughout your body. The spike proteins are one of the problems. They seem to be associated with blood and circulatory issues.

Personal news today is my son’s friend, 2nd year Marine, has officially refused the shot after months of reaming him and others over it and is coming home. Not dishonorably. My son reports that he is relieved. Wasn’t happy as it was that President Trump was not in office and has no faith in the current administration. What a shame and world we’re living in now. I don’t know what’s going to happen to our military.

I am relieved myself for him. I’ve been sending my son info and articles to send him. Like the high incidence of myocarditis among the military with the vaccines and the religious exemption due to aborted fetal cells. He was going to try the religious but they must have given him the opportunity to just leave. I’m sure I’ll hear more about what happened when he comes home.

My son was going to join the Air Force, wanted to take a year to work first and paid for a car. But then Biden was installed. Then he thought about it again, that he could keep his head low through the CRT baloney. But then I realized before it happened, that they would probably mandate the vaccine. And if he did get Covid, they wouldn’t medically treat him properly. He decided he wasn’t going to risk his life on the vaccine. Maybe a different administration, if we get our President back in.
I pray for our country.
He made a wise decision. I’ve always been grateful that my son exited the Navy when he did. He served when Obama was president. The military has been transformed in ways that would shock those who have served in it. I know because one of my family just took basic for doctors/dentists. Would you believe a 350 pound Person of Color who couldn’t and refused to march, couldn’t and refused to do push-ups was given a pass and remains in the Army?

The vaccine protections are not wearing off. Either people are getting sick with something else, the “spike protein” has evolved and no longer is recognized by the immune system, or the vaccine itself is actually causing folks to get sick either from ADE, or simply the vaccines adverse effects are overwhelming their defenses.

What I had heard before their last meeting was in December and they had a short one in which they skipped the public comments before the supposed FDA approval and no discussion of the adverse events.
I was thinking of trying to find this spot in that meeting you posted but you know how it is the longer, it’s harder to pinpoint on the track.
Is the booster just more of the same initial dose or doses?
