Ms. Chant’s general persona is very familiar to anyone who has the unfortunate experience of interacting with a female leftist in the U.S. who would wear genitalia on their head as a political statement. If there was a campaign for the benefit of self-isolation, avoiding the global Chant types would be a strong point of advocacy.
Amid the extreme rules and regulations deployed by various states all over Australia, NSW Health Minister Kerry Chant stands atop the list as the largest advocate for total government control; and exhibit-A for why women should not be steered toward a career in government. As the premier of the region started to announce a softening of the oppressive rules and lock-down regulations; it was Ms. Chant who was advocating against permitting any freedom until over 90% of the New South Wales population were vaccinated.

I’m a woman, and I’ve been saying the same thing about women being placed in positions of power. Having worked with several, I have to conclude that they’re the WORST! (As one of many Women for Trump, however, I disagree with Spooky regarding women’s voting rights.)

Dr. Kerry Chant is NOT the NSW Health Minister. She is the state’s Chief Medical Officer (CMO). She is New South Wales’ top medical bureaucrat, who advises government. She is appointed, not elected and makes no rules. Having said that, reporters need to ask her about her NWO remark, because it’s freaking people out. Reporters and media love to spread the NWO thing as a headline, but they never dive into it and ask ‘hey, why did you use that phrase and what does it mean exactly?’

Yes, I noticed the mistakes creeping in too. To a certain extent I can understand it happening, because Americans generally do not closely follow Australian politics. That’s a shame, because both nation’s are so similar. With regard to Dr. Chang’s NWO comment, it freaks people out, but it shouldn’t. There was a new world order after WW I when Europe’s borders were redrawn; there was a new world order after WWII when Japan and Germany were conquored and US troops were stationed in those countries permanently. Again after the Korean war. NWO just refers to great change. Dr. Chant was referring to the changes caused by the Carina virus. She just happens to work under a state Premier, Gladys Berejiklian, who is one of the least authoritarian political leaders you could ever find anywhere. But, people’s imaginations run wild…

When I heard the words new world order in his speech my first instinct was the republicans who supported him and this were not looking out for the best interest of the United States of America. May I correct you comment slightly. Kerry Chant is the NSW Chief Health Officer, not the Health Minister. Indeed, the Health Minister is Brad Hazzard, who would be more appropriately referred to as Health Hazzard.
