Now that we understand the problem [CRITICAL BACKGROUND HERE], we move into the solution discussion. There is a way to deconstruct the current system of corruption within the U.S. government that follows a path outlined by the framers of our constitution. In this series of articles we will outline what I believe to be the way forward. It is a narrow path, and each step is dependent on the American electorate understanding the challenge.
There is a way to stop the Intelligence Branch, but it requires some outside-the-box thinking and reliance on the Constitution as a tool to radically change one element within government. In order to achieve it, we must focus on three tiers needed for success:
• Tier One is “tactical civics” at a local level. Engaged and active citizen participation at the community, city, town and hamlet level of society. This is what might be described as grassroots level. School Board level; City Council level; County Commissioner level.
• Tier Two is “extreme federalism” at a state level. Engaged and active citizen participation through your State House and State Senate representative. This is state level assembly and action demands upon the House, Senate and State Governor.
• Tier Three the challenge of “federal offices” on a national level. This is where a singular action can be taken upstream that allows the first two tiers to retake control over federal offices. This is where we throw the One Ring into the fire of Mordor. CTH has tested this approach with a multitude of political allies who understand the issue. All eventually agreed with the solution at a federal level; it won’t be easy, but it will be possible.
I cannot emphasize enough how each tier is dependent on the preceding tier. Additionally, each voter has to understand the larger objective in order to see how they are all connected. That is the goal of this outline.
• Tier One – The lack of attention to local or ‘tactical civics’ is now manifest in your community with examples of school boards dictating mandates to you and your family. In almost all of these instances where local officials running amok, you will note their baseline detachment. They have lost their ability to identify exactly who they work for; perhaps they never had it to begin with. Various local officials no longer view YOU as their employer. Instead they view you as someone they need to protect themselves from. We cannot address the state level disconnect that is needed for correction unless and until we first reset the relationship at a local level between the citizen and the community government. That means you MUST get involved.
• Tier Two – The lack of attention to federalism, states rights, responsibilities and state government overall, is manifested most clearly in the outcome of the 2020 election; and the issue of election integrity. Even in states where republicans are in control of the state House and Senate, there are few legislative bodies focused on ensuring election integrity. Just look at how much difficulty grassroots organizations are having with the demand for audits, reviews, and election controls. This is an outcome of detachment from the legislatures.
It will be impossible to correct the federal issues of government without first and foremost making sure we have the right representatives in our state legislature. You will see why that is going to become more important when we talk about the needed action in tier three. The outlook of every single state representative toward the federal government is critical. We must elect state level representatives who understand and cherish the principles behind ‘state’s rights‘ and the tenth amendment.
If we have the right state-level representation, then -and only then- can we move into the third tier and begin traveling the path that addresses the federal issues.
• Tier Three – The nucleus of corruption amid every element of the federal institutions of government is the United States Senate. The U.S. Senate is the single most powerful part of the federal government. All other federal corruption is dependent on a corrupt and ineffective Senate. If we correct the problems with the Senate and reconnect the representation within the chamber to the state-level legislative bodies, we will then be able to demand change.
There will be ZERO institutional allies in this effort. Because of the scale of their power, the Senate will not give up control easily; and every institution of society and government will attempt to stop We The People from taking back control of the upper chamber. Every entity from Wall Street to multinational corporations, big tech, banks, foreign governments and world organizations will be aligned against us. When you truly understand the epicenter of the corruption, then you are able to see the tentacles extending from it.
It would be easy to say “repeal the 17th amendment“, it is another thing entirely to walk through the process to make that happen. Yes, ultimately we do need a full repeal of the 17th amendment, and return the selection of the senators from each state with a nomination and appointment process within the state legislature. [Common Explainer Here]
Seventeenth Amendment- “The Senate of the United States shall be composed of two Senators from each State, elected by the people thereof, for six years; and each Senator shall have one vote. The electors in each State shall have the qualifications requisite for electors of the most numerous branch of the State legislatures.
When vacancies happen in the representation of any State in the Senate, the executive authority of such State shall issue writs of election to fill such vacancies: Provided, That the legislature of any State may empower the executive thereof to make temporary appointments until the people fill the vacancies by election as the legislature may direct.” (link)
Prior to the 17th amendment, there was significant state level corruption as business interests and senate candidates worked in power groups with party officials to attain the position. Politicians seeking Senate seats began campaigning for state legislative candidates in order to assemble support. The state legislative races then became a process of influence amid powerful interests seeking to support their Senate candidate. Get the right people in the State legislature and you can get the Senator appointed.
Those state-level entities, bankers, wealthy people of influence, later became the permanent K-Street lobbying groups once the 17th amendment was ratified. In essence, they just shifted the location of their influence operation from the state to an office in Washington DC. [Those same power groups, albeit much larger, now write the physical legislation we see in congress.] Additionally, prior to the 17th amendment, there were issues of vacancies in federal senate seats as state legislatures could not agree on an individual Senator.
The biggest issue following the passage of the 17th amendment became Senators who were no longer representing the interests of their state. Instead they were representing the interests of the power elite groups who were helping them fund the mechanisms of their re-election efforts. A Senator only needs to run for re-election every six years. The 17th amendment is the only amendment that changed the structure of the congress as it was written by the founders.
Over time, the Senate chamber itself began using their advise and consent authority to control the executive and judicial branch. The origination of a nomination now holds the question: “Can this person pass the Senate confirmation process?” The Senate now abuses this power to ensure no one challenges them. Additionally, the Senate began using their oversight capacity to control elements within the executive branch and judicial branch. The full scope of that issue in modern form is OUTLINED HERE – which is the cornerstone of the Intelligence Branch of Government.
If we can repeal the 17th amendment and return the selection to the state legislature, you can see where the background work of Tactical Civics and Extreme Federalism begin to take on importance. [NOTE: Within the repeal effort we would need to include a recall process for states to reach out and yank back their Senator if they go astray; the ability to recall was missing in the original construct of the framers; it would need to be added.]
In part-II we will outline the process for repealing the 17th amendment in the current era. It will take the creation of two paths being built simultaneously in the background of the 2024 federal election.
◊ PATH ONE is the primary platform of the presidential candidate…. a visible and emphasized mandate that includes: “vote me into office and you are voting to repeal the 17th amendment“. This specific election issue would need to be the #1 priority of the candidate and spoken at every event. This approach would give the presidential candidate the mandate to demand congress to act if he won the 2024 election. We would need a warrior of epic strength, resolve and fortitude. A Trumpian candidate, if not Trump himself.
◊ PATH TWO is the parallel path built along with the 2024 election platform path, and put into place in the event that Congress refused to accept the mandate. Obviously, this could be an ugly battle. The second path is a convention of states in the first year of the successful presidential candidate’s term in office. The ‘convention of states‘ would be detailed, strategically planned, and the future schedule determined during the 2024 GOP convention preceding the November election (assuming the right candidate wins). That way, if congress refuses to act on their own, within say the first 100 days of the new administration, the state legislatures will then assemble a convention for the singular and limited purpose of one action item: “repeal the 17th amendment“. That’s it. Full Stop. Nothing more. Nothing else entertained.
There is a lot more to this, and a lot more to cover in discussion of this. However, this is the path that can resolve most of the issues we face with an out of control federal government. The shift in power would kneecap the Intelligence Branch of Government by re-instituting genuine oversight and control. A repeal of the 17th amendment stops Senators from campaigning, needing to raise money and puts them directly into the accountability position as a steward for the interests of their state.
The people within each state would then have a mechanism to address any negative federal action by contacting their state legislative representative. In a worst case scenario, a rogue Senator could be removed within days if they support any federal legislative activity that is not in alignment with the state interest. This approach also wipes out most of the power amid the Senate Majority Leader, as he/she could also be recalled by the state and would be less likely to work against the interests of the majority in the chamber.
More details to come soon….
Tier Two Action Item for Ohio:
Blystone-Swallen for Ohio Governor 2022
https://www.blystoneforgovernor.com/
Am starting to see these campaign signs springing up on lawns …
(Now all we need are free and fair elections …)
Good luck to the latter. Didn’t red Ohio recently buy Dominion machines?
Right. Still waiting for the dramatic results of the comprehensive AZ audit. Those results provide us with the mandate to require similar audits nationwide.
Not much time left before the 2022 election. In my formerly red (now blue) state, I just received the state election guidelines. In person voting for a November election begins in September. Mail-in voting begins in September too. Counting of ballots will occur for 4-5 days after the election.
All power is given to these election boards and their staffs. The reality is we have absolutely no idea what… really happens to these ballots while they sit in the custody of election board staff for over a month.
IF we can … prove the 2020 election was stolen on a massive scale, then we have a mandate. Then we can mobilize, with purpose, to correct the disenfranchisement of the American people nationwide. If the AZ audit proves to be another failure — where’s Durham– I do not see how we can gain public support for these needed reforms.
We need to get rid of these Dominion computerized scanners/counters. Free and honest elections is very obviously critical to our success. We cannot get anyone elected if our elections are rigged.
I haven’t heard an update on how many R local election workers are insisting on a backup forensic image of each machine before Dominion gets its claws in to perform a Trusted Update, which means a wipe of 2020 data.
We need an army of Tina Peterses everywhere.
Yes, they have Dominion fraud machines. Unlike SD, I’m maybe more of a tactical than strategic thinker, so my thought is to send some of our people to the largest polling places, and jam the WiFi with an electronic jammer. California would be a good testing ground during upcoming recall election?
I realize this would be of only limited effectiveness, since the machines are preprogrammed to adjust vote totals.
Good idea!
I think Dominion has a work-around to blocking the internet connection.
I do believe that is what the “Trusted Build” update (that they are doing right now!) of the Dominion machines is all about. They have a program in their so-called update that adjusts the outcome right in the machine without an internet connection.
We paid for these machines. They simply have to go because they are instruments of tyranny.
What I saw at the cybersymposium livestream was a batch (.bat) file that looked exactly like it could, with just a few lines of code, disable all security on the machine.
From there I presume any corrupt individual could add and start the desired algorithm within the Dominion (SmartMatic?) software itself. I didn’t see the code for that, but I presume the cyber team all over the country has been analyzing what Tina Peters provided ever since.
Roger that! Unless our individual states pass Election Integrity Laws between now and the mid-terms, laws that make it easy to vote but harder to cheat, then we have nothing. (Edited to correct typo)
Pretty sure I’m not alone in wanting to go nuclear on them all. Patience is a virtue; not sure I was graced with that one.
Bless you Sundance, and Godspeed to you and us all. We have quite the battle ahead. Tally-ho!
The left played the long game and infested government and education at all levels. They had to because their end game really has no appeal without breaking the will of dissent and indoctrinating the young. It has born fruit. But what Sundance describes to fight back doesn’t require the amount of time and stealth the left used. The lefts foundation is weak and easily overturned but Sundance is right it must be done with an eye on all levels of government. Now…how bad do we want it?
Great info, Sundance! I would highly recommend that everyone read Zell Miller’s book “A National Party No More” for an in-depth look into the background of, and problems with, both the 16th and 17th Amendments. These problems have been festering for a century and have now burst forth onto the national, and international, scene with a level of corrupt stench that can no longer be ignored!
“Even in states where republicans are in control of the state House and Senate, there are few legislative bodies focused on ensuring election integrity. Just look at how much difficulty grassroots organizations are having with the demand for audits, reviews, and election controls. This is an outcome of detachment from the legislatures”
You give Republican legislatures to much credit. Most of them do not want election audits because THEY WERE INVOLVED with the election being stolen. Most republicans and democrats are a UNIPARTY. They work only for thier own power and control.
That really was one of the most depressing outcomes of the steal…all of these compromised Republican state house members, state senators, secretary of states, AGs, and Governors..to watch them turn on us was especially galling
This! So disappointing in “red states”. If you live in a Red state, focus on Republicans. So many “leaders” are playing both sides. Remember what Pence did to us (fake Christian, fake Republican). Kick these fakers to the curb with a vengeance.
P.S. The Tea Party never went away. We got quiet and determined. We raised patriot children and now grandchildren. We are bigger, than ever before!
That underscores the inter-dependency SD speaks to. Effective Tier 1 (local) involvement in State Government would not allow for the passivity at the state level legislature. It’s clear elected officials have not only forgotten who they are accountable to, but they blatantly ignore. Tier 1 drives accountability and state level reps need reminding the purpose of the 10th Amendment in particular. “All politics is local”…Thomas Tip O’Neill
At least we know now. I would have told people they were crazy before….
There is also the issue of the RINOs and those pols falsely professing to be Republicans. The RNC needs to step up , and support only those that are valid, confirmed Republicans. How do people like willard and lizzie get elected as Republicans?
FOX News for one
Thus, the pathway Sundance lays out to rectify the situation. It really is worth reading the acticle in its entirety.
Two things that I think are VITAL that are rarely mentioned in how-can-we-fix this pieces:
BABIES: Young conservatives need to have kids. And not just one or two.
LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION: Conservatives need to move out of solid red states if and when at all possible and populate purple states to tip them back to red and/or move to red states to create a solid voting block.
Oops. Meant to say “…move out of solid blue states…”
The repeal of the 17th amendment is viable.
Why?
Because many state level representatives would like to increase their own power — and this would benefit them.
Also — it will be a win for the people because the more that power is localized, the more power the people have and the more responsive the government has to be.
And most importantly, this is viable because . . . returning power to the states is in accord with the historical forces that have been unleashed by the internet.
Decentralization has been made possible by the internet and bitcoin and video conferencing and strong encryption (once this becomes commonly used).
The future is the city-state . . . actually, the smalltown-state.
Cities are going to disappear. Centralization of location isn’t needed anymore.
Let’s start by repealing the 17th amendment.
The direction of the future toward decentralization seems clear.
Globalism has become obviously oppressive not because it’s strong, not because it’s the natural progression that’s inevitable — but the opposite. It must use force to maintain itself now. It will lose.
The internet allows radical decentralization — and this is why the future will be free.
Freedom will be ours again.
Globalism is over, but it doesn’t know this, yet.
Pascal20, it is so very important that everyone see the bright hope this proposed process offers. You have done that. Thank you.
Excellent and hopeful.
Bravo
I love this point!
We even have a huge contingent of leftists in the “knowledge worker class,” since the CoupVID-1984 bioweapon was released, unknowingly becoming addicted to Working From Anywhere, abandoning crowded and increasingly dangerous cities for suburbs, exurbs, rural areas.
I worked from home on and off for at least a dozen years before all this happened and I am here to tell you it is 100% addictive. It’s a trend that may help…
Bravo, the whole of the Constitution was meticulously designed to prevent the consolidation and centralization of power. The 17th consolidates power. The Senior Executive Services and any other bureaucratic office that outlasts a presidential term, consolidates power.
I am reminded of a quote from Abraham Lincoln, paraphrasing, The highest pursuit in the future will be how to make a good living from a small farm.
Unfortunately, the internet is also part of the problem… it allows us to sit at a keyboard and feel as if we’re accomplishing something instead of getting physically involved. All we need to do is look around and see how that’s working out.
“A repeal of the 17th amendment stops Senators from campaigning, needing to raise money and puts them directly into the accountability position as a steward for the interests of their state.”
Something still needs to be done about the free speech money floating around in huge stacks. Facebook for example carries a huge stick.
True… but that’s next. If we can just focus on repealing the 17th and enacting a recall provision, then a senate that is responsive to the STATES rather than the party will do more than hold hearings for show… or they won’t be there.
Tier 1 for me requires complete confrontation of multiculturalism. In SoCal there is no American spirit. Hispanics here, Armenians there, Vietnamese in this area.
I strongly believe culture, especially LANGUAGE. unite us. In SoCal it divides us. It’s disgusting. We not only tolerate it, we encourage it.
I think if I were to make that my focus though, I would only make matters worse. However, I have recently began confronting the Frontier Cable crews doing upgrades outside my house. Literally, none of the crews speak English.
I first ask if they can speak English. When they say yes, I ask them why they aren’t and then explain language unites people and that’s why their crews have zero diversity. I ask where all the other races are and point out how they only demonstrate unity among Hispanics and it is not the America I grew up in.
I’ve never once had any person I’ve confronted try to argue their way out of it. My family didn’t speak English when we got here, but for the sake of unity with the many people who come here from all over the world, we unite around language.
They all know it’s true but it has never been expected of them to RESPECT America and our culture. I really believe immigrants need to hear that more often but the spineless cowardly citizens of SoCal have been conditioned to think that’s racist, even though “American” isn’t a race.
Anyway, I’m my eyes a necessary component of tier 1 is the expectation that our fellow grassrooters love the USA and forsake the nation and culture they fled for the sake of unity. It’s probably a poor battle to pick and there may be more effective ways to get there than direct confrontation, but I’ve had it with the disrespect. America isn’t these people’s girlfriend while the place they left gets to be their true love. We deserve better. We deserve the unity brought by patriotism.
conservatives do need to multiply themselves, and spread into blue zones, but we can’t do it with birth rates alone; we also need to recruit new members . I think one way is by reaching out to all non-English speaking members of our society. Instead of assuming they’re all anti-American liberals – why not try to win them over to our side? It would be the ultimate sweet victory if all the border flooding resulted in a tsunami of brand new conservatives!
I rarely get to liberty-oriented gatherings in solid blueMA but when I do I encounter astonishing diversity – it’s joyful.
At the last event I attended I spent a long time in conversation with two young Chinese-American women, both born citizens here, who were like the “Old Hundred Names” Bannon often mentions on warroom. They were extremely well informed and utterly passionate about liberty here and restoring liberty to their totalitarian homeland.
The thing about identity hatred is that it cannot survive actual community in-person interaction. Once people talk, we often discover connection of thought. This is why the Globarachy tries so hard to prevent such interaction, and why the MAGA movement loves it and increases it all the time.
The use of language is definitely a major element o the Tier 1 approach, negasht7. You rightly point out its importance to this process and for the maintainence of Patriotism.
There was a time when speaking fluent French wasn’t a problem. My parents taught me that not only is it rude, but disrespectful to speak another language in front of others. Now I’ve become far less tolerant of those who speak little to no English . I don’t speak gibberish in your third world craphole, don’t speak gibberish in my beautiful, GOD blessed land.
Right the hell on about speaking ENGLISH!
We pay millions of dollars to teach ENGLISH to the school kids in our district.
Yet when I am on line at the local supermarket with the Latino families, they are all speaking Spanish or whatever their native language is.
It is extremely disrespectful. Another thing I just LOVE is when they refer to “my country “ and it is Ecuador or someplace else.
The illegals around here don’t vote which is a blessing.
The most galling thing for me is the “I Voted” stickers with the phrase repeated in Spanish just below it and ballots printed in foreign languages. In order to become a citizen with the right to vote, you have to demonstrate an understanding of the English language. If that is the case, why do we need to print ballots in other languages?
I am not a huge fan of Michael Savage’s personality, but his Borders, Language, and Culture motto is a sound premise.
Many people in India say their country would fall apart if they didn’t have the English language to unify them. So many different tribes and class systems would effectively destroy their unity if they removed English from their country. Whether its right or wrong , I am not going to argue that.
“vote me into office and you are voting to repeal the 17th amendment“. This specific election issue would need to be the #1 priority of the candidate and spoken at every event. This approach would give the presidential candidate the mandate to demand congress to act if he won the 2024 election.”
Oh dear.
Just like the Wall is it….. a nearly identical mo?
In the end you are asking the Congress and Senate UniParty to vote against their own financial interests and to fix the Mitch/ Charlie grip on power. No turkey votes for Thanksgiving.
Fixing it by State’s action is surely just a dream, even the Republican States had to be dragged kicking and screaming to do just a few audits. I regard many State Republican politicians as so apathetic as to be as useless.
Why would Democrat States have anything to do with such a Constitutional convention to change the system they love? Because the President has a “mandate”? Please.
Got a better plan?
No.
But you miss the point. a plan that won’t work is worse than no plan because at least with no plan I’m open to fixes that might just possibly work.
Determining if a plan will work is prudent. That said, you can’t know if a plan will work ahead of time. You can only put it together based on your best assessment of where things stand and what seems like a reasonable way to wind our way out of this mess. It’s easy to be cynical (I know I am) and be a back bencher, but you have to start somewhere. Sundance appears to be someone who thinks long and hard about things and tries to put things together into a cohesive whole that seems reasonable. In this case, he’s put together a path forward.
No one can really say that “a plan that won’t work is worse than no plan…” because it assumes you can see into the future and no one can do that.
The situation we’re in is so dire and so complex with multiple moving parts. It’s hard to imagine how to develop a roadmap back to some semblance of normalcy and liberty. G-d bless anyone for trying. I think it’s worth giving what Sundance wrote a good read and some serious thought.
It’s easy to pick at various aspects of it and critique it, and that’s worthwhile, too. I would imagine he may continue to tweak his ideas. But to rule them out based on a combination of cynicism and a belief you can know the future when you can’t seems sadly hopeless. Not that this is about having some Pollyanna sense of hope for the sake of it. I think Sundance is far more serious and intelligent for such a game.
“pick at various aspects of it’.
No, I’m criticising the the core assumptions for action…. tweaking won’t help.
“I think it’s worth giving what Sundance wrote a good read and some serious thought”.
Err, I did. The plan is fantasy.
Okay, then, concern noted.
OK… I’ll accept that as your opinion, which says all I need to know about you as an ally in the cause.
As an aside, but a particularly pertinent one given your immediate knee-jerk opposition to this thoroughly peaceful and constitutionally sound approach, there are more than a few on this very platform who are recovering from divorce, many of whom had spouses who constantly belittled their ideas without coming up with a better one… ever… repeatedly assuring them that their ideas would never work.
Just something for you to think about in between drafting posts to criticize Sundance the amendment process designed by the Founding Fathers.
Yes. Divorce — seceding from a bad relationship, going away from futility into the company of more like-minded people.
There is no “fixing” human government. No human rulership has ever succeeded.
It’s time to truly craft a better plan, one that eschews what history and experience clearly, unambiguously, no crystal ball needed, teach.
I think Sundance would be the last person to assert his god-likeness above criticism or difference of point of view and understanding of reality.
“immediate knee-jerk opposition”
No. Considered analysis.
If you run your life on the “any obviously impossible plan is better than no immediate plan”, we simply disagree. The plan might arrive over time, they usually do.
The most important part of the plan is the easiest- start with hyper local elections including town board, school board, library boards, planning and zoning boards, etc.
I agree. Just watch out for the threats to come your way. Recently, the Glocester, RI school committee voted to allow mask exemptions in school. Religious, medical, or conscientious objection. I had high hopes this reasoning would spread to other school districts. At the next meeting, they revoted the issue and now masks are mandated in their schools. The reason given: Members were being threatened with bodily harm.
Of course, it didn’t help that the demonrat governor had just mandated all schools be masked up.
And that has already begun with Dan Schultz’ excellent Precinct Project.
YES- I was looking for a link if you have one. We really need to push it out there for this thread.
Thanks!
Here ya go!

Correct, this part is the foundation. Local politics is the base of the pyramid where the individual citizen has the most political power.
We need to go back and strengthen it, while doing the other things too.
How about just separating ourselves out at the local level, and forming our own communities, leaving “them” theirs while we build and prosper our own without them?
And once you get your local community sorted out, what need of anything “higher up” — state or fed?
The best tactic and likely to be the most effective.
Forget about the corrupt Senate for now….all politics is local.
“The situation we’re in is so dire and so complex with multiple moving parts.”
That is so correct, and so overwhelming to a lot of people. The key is a strategy that allows people to focus on prioritized goals and not every shiny object the other side throws out there to distract us.
You know, Pencil, I think it might work. People are really, really, really fed up with VAST SUMS OF TAXPAYER MONEY going abroad. ( I’m not talking about humanitarian aid for disasters.) Why is it going abroad? Lobbyists for foreign interests and multinational interests give PAC money to the legislators. Then the legislators are beholden to them rather than their constituents. I do believe this is a concept the public can grasp.
Ditto. Imo we need a short term plan to politically behead the GOPe in the House and Senate, using means both fair and unfair. Trip them up, and expose their weaknesses as legislators and as human beings. Get hidden video of them drunk at a bar, making an ethnic slur, or etc. — i realize that I’m a break glass in case of war personality, but we are of course in a war now for our way of life.
Is continuing on in an inevitably corrupt system of rulers really “our way of life”? Does “our way of life” really have to revolve around our rulers and being ruled? If so, why?
What really is “our way of life”?
Sorry, pencil, but just because you are ignorant of the process doesn’t mean that it doesn’t exist. Take a few minutes and read Article V of the Constitution. It’s only 143 words, but it can literally change the world. It gives the states EQUALITY with Congress… no better, no worse, just equal.
So “the states” have “equality” with (the CENTRAL rulership of) Congress. So?
Do you have actual “equality” of power and control over your own life with anyone you “elect” in your state or central rulership?
Who among representatives, either state or federal, is actually beholden to you? Whom did you directly hire, sign a contract with, and can fire if he/she goes against your wishes or breaches that contract? That only is true representation; anything else is divided loyalty between you and whomever has more persuasion/money/power to offer. That’s reality.
That’s the real issue: theory (the Constitution establishing rulers over you, giving you the illusion that you have “a voice” in the process, called “elections”) versus actual, day-to-day living reality.
Why do you need rulers over you? Because some people who fought a war for independence from rulers then proceeded to draft, and campaign to “delegates” of the various loose “states” newly-minted from loose colonies, yet another rulership, only with them the rulers now?
“No better, no worse, just equal.” Yes. And you’re still the guy at the bottom who obeys and obsequiously pays others to be nice to you at the bottom.
And they are not, but only demanding more and more of your time, labor, earnings, children, and property.
“States” may be “equal” to “Congress.” But you and I are not equal to any of them. We are their stupid slaves, believing their lies that they are necessary and we need them.
I lied.
The only plan that will work to fix the US is States seceding with a vast majority in favour, 60:40 isn’t enough..
With strict black letter law based on the existing Constitution ….but that step is a bridge too far for anyone.
The bridge too far is another civil war. But, on the other hand this country will soon be destroyed from the actions of the fake president.
“on the other hand this country will soon be destroyed from the actions of the fake president”
Yes, and it’s probably time we accepted that. This is not fixable .
You’d have to go back 40 years in a time machine and remove the neo-marxists who captured the education system from Grade school to University…..they own the kids.
Cynicism is the repeal of the Death Knell.
Stop saying “It Can’t Work,” and offer an alternative that might.
In my view it isn’t fixable without secession and start again.
Long ago men cared more about their honor than Netflixs, those days are gone.
Then I suggest you change your view, and a good place to start is with Article V of our Constitution, a document you seem to have very little respect for, because NOWHERE does the Constitution provide for secession. In that light, your “view” seems to be promoting the violent overthrow of our government, and frankly, I’m not comfortable with that.
What is “violent,” in your mind, about peaceable secession away from and out of “our” violent government? Just because Saint Lincoln violently prevented peaceful secession back in his day?
What?
Violent?
Straw men are the arguments of fools and charlatans
Finally… you found a “fantasy” that really IS impossible… and it’s all yours!
What’s so “fanciful” and unthinkable, in your mind, about peaceful secession?
What is “realistic” about forcing people who do not want to be together to be together?! How is that not fanciful in the extreme?
I don’t think the country known as America will be destroyed initially. After we all become serfs, the rulers will still rule a country called America. After that, there will be a ruler(s) of the earth and America will just be another province overseen by a person or persons who are loyal to the global rulers and who keeps the serfs (us and our progency) in line. Many will just fall in line willingly. The others will be quarantined or executed.
Surely you don’t mean to question the wisdom of the Framers including Article V as a separate but equal path to amendment for the states? What the Civil War settled was that secession IS NOT an effective way to bring about change by itself. In the first place, secession is never peaceful… and in the second place, it isn’t constitutional. Article V, on the other hand, is both.
Did God send all of us a memo to the effect that “the Framers” were infallible?
Yes. Any intelligent human being SHOULD question the “wisdom” of anyone who crafts and establishes rulers over other people.
No, the “Civil War” settled no such thing!! Saint Lincoln’s stupid solution of VIOLENCE TO FORCE PEOPLE TO CONFORM TO HIS DIKTATS was the ONLY thing that poor excuse for a “leader” and his “tactics” “settled”! It should be obvious that what he did was unjust, immoral, and tyrannically dictatorial. It’s because of THAT that we find ourselves in this mess today. He deliberately went against the Constitution (duplicitous as it is) and Bill of Rights, to say nothing of violating completely the Declaration of Independence.
There was no violence on the part of the secessionists. Lincoln started the whole thing. There was no necessity of violence. Only honor and respect for fellow Americans, born in freedom and liberty, to make their own choices and decisions.
Why, pray tell, is secession “never peaceful”?
Exactly what in the Constitution forbids secession? Please say. Thanks.
Yes. Ignore the state of the “union” and secede into our own like-minded communities.
Private property and individual sovereignty and rights.
First.
There is no fixing from within. There is no fixing by just getting “the right people” into existing positions of power and control over the rest of us.
The blind leading the blind — and there are none so blind as those who will not to see.
In your own private life, do you keep company with people who disagree with you fundamentally and whom you cannot stand, nor they you?
Why must all of us be forced/force ourselves to live with people who hate us and whom we do not love, just for the sake of . . . what? What really is the significance of “America” if not personal freedom from rulers, no matter what they’re called?
I am inclined to agree with you but first I want to hear Sundance out. Sundance, please share with us your ideas.
In cases where they are audit hesitant, we primary them out of office.
let’s make “Incumbent” a swear word.
If they previously served or are currently serving in an elected office or a government job they should not be elected. They can ‘reapply’ for employment by the people after all the dead wood has been removed.
Much of your concern will be alleviated if the Durham investigation is more than a ruse.
I never discourage an optimist.
But you can bet your house that maybe a few mid levels will get done for J walking and “oversight has been tightened to fix the procedural glitches”. He’ll throw a few crumbs.
“I never discourage an optimist.”
Seriously??? I’ve yet to find as post under your screen name in this thread that is NOT discouraging an optimist! Hey… I know… like that nitwit on MSNBC… maybe you’ve been hacked?
There’s a difference between “optimism” and clear critical thinking.
Just because there’s a disagreement between points of view of the proposals of this article and the considered historical perspective of the commenter does not mean that the commenter is discouraging “optimism.” Rather, pointing out historical realities and offering another, better solution than “optimistically” banging our heads against the same brick wall, thinking the brick wall cares.
Seems the definition of insanity fits here: doing the same thing over and over again, expecting different results, is insanity.
Some of us understand that, and choose to look at doing different things, with hope and optimism only obstructed by those who don’t understand that.
You seem to have much road rage when people disagree with you.
Pencil, pencil, pencil… I won’t use “oh dear”…
You certainly have a right to voice your opinion… that it will not work.
But what have you really accomplished… ???
other than your claim is that it leaves the field open for a plan that in your
opinion… might work.
Also, you are also certainly implying that our red state legislatures would not at all
be interested in regaining any lost power and direct control of their 2 senators.
And you are further implying that you absolutely and positively know the outcome
of what Sundance is proposing.
And yet you offer… nothing of you own.
Now I will give you my opinion…
Do whatever!!! it takes… and I mean whatever…!!!
To reveal the full results of the Arizona forensic audit… nationally.
Then do whatever!!! it takes for the others swing states to do the same…
…and Sundance’s plan just might SAVE our Republic.
And leave a lasting legacy for our kids and grandkids.
And so the ultimate point is . . . what? To simply reinstate the same system, only with a couple of tweaks?
It’s the system that doesn’t work, and that will never work, that is always fated to succumb to corruption and/or outright tyranny.
The point is that forever (as long as the system is propped up) either one set of ideologies or the other will RULE ALL OF US, for better or worse.
WHY IS THAT WHAT YOU WANT?!
GrayCat, trust me… I’m as frustrated as you are.
But I will say this as respectfully as I can,
Without restored voter integrity…
our Republic as we know it… has ceased to exist.
Period. Full stop.
And nothing else, other than civil war, will matter.
Only with fair and open elections, and I mean only, can we the people choose.
And only then can a multi-step process, like Sundance’s, even hope to succeed.
And Sundance is right, whatever the details might wind up to be…
it all starts with… local, local, local.
Forgive me for not being clearer: my point is NO MORE “GOVERNMENT.” It is unnecessary and evil; it will NEVER be anything else. Putting men in positions of power and control over the rest of us is unnecessary, unwise, and pure evil folly.
“Fair and open elections” will never solve that, only perpetuate the illusion you “have a voice” and “influence the outcome.”
Even if you did, what’s it for? Telling other people to do what you want them to do for whatever reason; hiding behind “legal authority” to enforce whatever that is.
And then the convulsions happen again, with the other side winning, to do to you and me what we did to them. “Only worse.”
Why? Do you need rulers to rule you?
Sundance is only playing their game. Let’s walk away from that table altogether.
“You got to know when to hold ’em, know when to fold ’em; know when to walk away, know when to run! You never count your money while you’re sittin’ at the table! There’ll be time enough for countin’ when the deal is done!”
Wisdom is known of her children. 😉
Could you possibly be more negative??? You might re-read the opening paragraph… we all know what the problems are without you repeating them… it’s time we focus on solutions… it’s time we move on from sniveling about the problems and actually DO something about them. Yes, a Convention of States is a dream, but so was the United States of America.
How about just being honest and honorable and admitting that this system of rulership, like all human rulerships, does not and cannot ever work without inevitably being corrupted, because it’s a system of human beings ruling other human beings? Human beings are not angels. Therefore there is no human being who has a right to power and control over his fellows, and no human being is qualified to wield power and control over his fellows!
A Convention of the States will NEVER fix that. A Constitutional Convention will NEVER fix that.
There is NO MORAL REASON people should be forced into a system they do not wish to be part of or controlled by or made to contribute to. NO ONE on the face of the earth has that right.
The “United” states of America only came about with the crimes against humanity of Saint Lincoln. Until then, it was the “united” states (and that’s plural, not “ONE NATION” under God or otherwise) of the CONTINENT called “America.”
Yes, it’s time we moved on, like fully mature and clear-thinking adults, to the best, most feasible, most equitable, most peaceable, solution to this mess of corrupt human government: secession from that bunch of thieves and vipers.
Let’s deal with each other face-to-face, in our own local communities of voluntarily associating like-minded people, without the interference of outside “government.” Voluntary trade and cooperation with other communities if wished. Free association. Private property respected by all.
What’s wrong with any of that?
JMO, viewing this from a Corporate Budget Process structure:
What is presented is great for the “5 year Long Range Plan” section of the United States of America Corporation.
What is not directly addressed is next quarter’s critical plan to increase the corporation’s market share by overturning the fraudulent 2020 election and reseating President Trump to his rightful position as President of the United States, pronto.
Agree completely that states must assert their constitutional right to full control of the electoral process within there states. They must also be willing to pass effective election laws that will address the security issues with the current practices and processes.
Unfortunately most state legislatures are intentionally ignorant of their role in a federalist government organization. They are dependent on dole that the Federal government drips back to the states and fearful of loosing what should never have left the state to begin with.
They are also fearful of criticism of actual effective election security laws ‘making it harder’, ‘being racist’, etc. The state legislatures need to understand that voting is privilege, duty, and responsibility of being a citizen. Voting should required measured reasoned thought prior to casting a ballot. It should require some level of effort on the part of both the voter and those administering the election process. It is not intended to be ‘easy’ as most duties and responsibilities in life and life itself are not ‘easy’. Claiming that any ‘identity’ group or groups will be ‘disadvantaged’ by having more secure elections because that group or groups are incapable of meeting the measures needed for election security is demeaning, insulting, and racist in and of itself.
There are and will always be those among every group that are unwilling to make any effort in their own self interest including voting unless the effort is made so small as to not exist or they are provided with adequate ‘incentive’ to make the smallest effort. Perhaps we should be considering that there may be no advantage to the whole of the governed in having people who are unwilling to invest thought and effort in the electoral voting regarding that governance.
PDJT published a piece earlier this week that proposed some minimum electoral changes that while not making voting easier for voters or administrators will greatly enhance the ability to rely on the true results. In fact in some areas he did not go far enough. Voter verification for federal elections must include proof of U.S. citizenship. Electoral administrative processes must include strict oversight both in person and electronically. Votes must be counted and tabulated in a speedy, verifiable, and repeatable manner. No results should be leaked or released until the full results of all districts involved in a particular election are ready for release. Election administrators at every level should be required to certify every voter and vote under their jurisdiction with mandatory penalties for each and every false certification.
The earliest opportunity to return PDJT to office will be 2024 and that will be impossible if the election process is not straightened out for 2022. We can not wait for the ‘audits’ to prove 2020 was manipulated. They will not come in time to have effect on 2022.
No one knows for sure what PDJT may or may not do in 2024 but if he can not be assured of an honest electoral process it seems doubtful that he would make the effort. In any event it needs to be remembered that PDJT is and has been a charismatic and effective messenger delivering and acting on a message that many if not most Americans have been waiting to hear. It is that message and actions that come from it that need to be protected and carried forward. Right now PDJT appears the best to carry and act on that message but for any number of future possibilities we need to be looking for others that serve the American people just as effectively as messenger and leader.
.
I confess that I myself have been too neglectful of local politics. They seemed so small… No longer.
This is indeed a huge task. However, there are many millions of us. If each person just decides every day to do just one small thing that he or she can toward these goals, the cumulative effect will be enormous: go to a meeting, write a letter, send a few dollars, support a candidate, educate another person and get him on-board, etc.
It is clear to me now that while the seeds of desruction were sowed over time, very much went awry during the community organizer’s administration.
YES!
Taking action is often quite boring. There’s nothing exciting about making calls or sending emails. It can be a drag to look up contact info and start to go down the list of state legislatures to contact, etc. Working on your own instead of in a group can be isolating and feel like your lone voice won’t matter. But if we know that millions are taking action every day, it can help.
Start small. Figure out your sphere of influence. Know your skill set. And commit to it every day.
It’s very easy to think/assume/hope someone else will do a bit of the heavy lifting. We cannot get stuck in that mentality.
The left goes full bore with political activism. It’s very much how they’re oriented and how they organize. They also have a younger demographic, overall, and youth is full of energy and future dreams.
One test I use for myself when I get to feeling really cynical is to ask what I would tell my grandchild who, in experiencing America going sideways, asks what I did to try to save the country. And I know my answer could not be something cynical. I know I would have to tell her what I did and I discover humility in that and the determination to carry on.
It’s easy to assume that whatever we do will fail, won’t work, etc. And, Lord knows, there’s plenty of reason to feel cynical. But the fact remains that we don’t know the future. None of us does, even if we’re smart and perceptive and think we see the writing on the wall. Assuming our actions won’t amount to anything is an easy out. We must not give that out to ourselves.
It is no longer good enough just to vote. (Yeah, yeah. I know.) Our nation is calling us and we must answer the call.
https://rumble.com/vlt7hu-what-they-all-need-to-hear-right-now-the-washington-pundit.html
Wat to go, Sarah! You have spoken truth and wisdom.
She has indeed.
I forget exactly where I read it – might have been somewhere in the Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis – but it was the wisdom that, when choosing a baffling path of action, it’s hardly ever the easier option that is the right one.
My husband and I stepped up to be the leaders of our county for We The People of Indiana, a new group with about 6 counties active. Our goal is to get active in local and state politics vetting, endorsing, campaigning and working the polls. We are tired of asking “what can we do” and decided to do SOMETHING.
People like Pencil just fire me up. Tell me something is impossible, then get out of my way. My dad told me I would never go to college. I paid for it myself and now have a master’s degree. No one is prouder of me than my dad. Like Pencil, my dad couldn’t see that my plan would work. He thought he was just being honest with me. I plan on using Sundance’s outline at our first meeting.
Froogie, I’m another Hoosier. Please identify these counties. Very interested in supporting this, Thank you.
You along with Outhouse are addressing exactly where Sundance suggests to begin. Local, local, local.
i have a child who believes this and took a job as a county administrator and this has been an eye opener for our family. (A job that the commissioners fill)
The county commissioners are heavily influenced by the wealthy to the point of criminal. The people vote them in and then ignore them until the next election and then vote the same criminals in again.
These commissioners go on to appoint their good buddies into your county supervisors positions.
Two of these commissioners (criminals) are using this position to advance themselves by running for State Representatives.
Start by looking at your city and county commissioners. You can not skip this step. The root of the problem is that a lot of voters never research the history of the candidates they are putting into office.
This kid has uncovered so much dirt. Brings it to the attention of commissioners and they will not act because it usually involves a good buddy or a wealthy citizen. Someone who will help them get elected to Representative.
See how this works?
All politics is local. Truer words were never spoken.
I like the cut of your jib, Sundance! I see the potential of the plan to claw back power from DC to the states. My feeling is we have a wave of engaged citizens willing to attend the local boards and councils, that may be the strongest part of the plan.
Ensuring fair elections and finding the right candidates… well that’s harder to accomplish because we the people are not doing it directly.
Nil desperandum
Thank, you, Sundance, for this path forward – a practical and doable plan to take back our country from the brink of destruction.
We must face the reality that Our Country is no longer “at the brink.” We are falling over the edge and what Sundance is showing us is a way to claw our way back to the brink and beyond!
Tier 1 is where everyone can get involved, its where the fires can be lit. Im seeing the same crap here in WY, that I see around the rest of the country with the school boards, and their silly mask mandates. Parents are becoming livid, and have started a group called “Free our Faces”. Over 120 people showed up in a standing room only conference room at their first meeting the other night.
Our local school board has many retired educators as trustees (BIG RED FLAG), and seem to answer only to themselves. I emailed a question to each of them about whether they would vote yes or no to allow the CRT curriculum in the district last July, and after zero replies, I emailed them the same question 2 weeks later. So far I have only gotten 2 replies from the 7 trustees.
Tier 1 is local, and the board meetings are usually only once a month while the city council usually meets weekly. Get involved, ask questions, become the thorn in their side. Make them know WHO they work for.
I fear this will not play well with people in general. You would be taking away someone’s right to vote for thier senator and giving that power to the state. I can’t imagine that would ever be popular enough for any politician to consider doing it.
It should be popular with many state legislators. It makes THEM more powerful. Those are the politicians who can be convinced to make themselves more powerful.
It’s the politicians at the state level taking power away from the politicians at the federal level.
Start with the majorities who detest their senators.
I’d bet that’s a whole lot of them! People are recognizing that Senators uniformly promise all sorts of things when campaigning that they never do in office.
In a way this makes holding Senators accountable somebody else’s job. And those somebody-elses – the state legislators – are usually pretty local to every voter. They can have toasty toes held to the fire much more easily than those two swamp creatures who usually don’t even live in their home state.
Your comment points out one of the most important aspects of an overall strategy. The electorate must be educated! With attention spans as they are today, we cannot expect people to read long white papers on the 17th Amendment, the Convention of States or the Fourth Branch of Government. Everyone knows we are not being represented the way the Framers intended, so we must develop concise talking points to educate people so they can understand what is possible.
I have advocated for repeal of the 17th Amendment for years. Why? Because it took us away from the ideal of representative Republicanism and toward the chaos of direct Democracy.
What are the Dimms trying to do right now?
Abolish the Electoral College.
Pack the Supream Court.
Give more Senators to big Blue states, violating the contract that passed the Constitution.
Every problem we have originates from moving away from a Republic to mob rule Democracy.
We don’t Have a Democracy, we have a Republic.
We need to elect people first that stop using the D-word, and start referring to the USA as a Republic
Then they will Knowcwhat they are acting on.
Hear, hear!!
how can you repeal that which was NEVER legally ratified?….you are still trusting the Dimm/commie/Progressives when they say it passed?…do some RESEARCH…it did NOT
I get your point, but that is a long (too long) constitutional legal battle that we don’t have the time to fight given the current state of affairs. JMO.
Tier 3:
Make the Senators serve a six year term at the will of the State legislature (with a supermajority recall). A senator who votes against the interest of their state can be summarily removed. Six years is enough. One term and send somebody else. So no need to whore out for re-election.
Remove some of the federal appointments from their purview. Specifically, the Attorney General and federal prosecutors.
Eliminate the executive office of Attorney General. Replace with an independent Attorney General appointed and serving at the will of a college of the States’ Attorneys General. This removes the executive AG who has become a mafia Consiglieri of Democratic presidents and traitors to Republican ones. (Look’n at you Barr.)
This makes the AG and the subordinate Federal Prosecutors independent of the Swamp, answerable directly to the States. Their primary task to hold accountable the agencies and agents of the corrupt Federal Empire. This follows the model of the States where the AG are independent of the Governors’ offices.
Create a Federal Auditor office, again chosen by a college of State Auditors. The FA investigates the financial activities of the Federal Government. All Inspector Generals of the federal departments would report to the Federal Auditor, making them independent of the agencies they inspect. The Federal Auditors office would not have prosecutorial powers but would refer investigations to the independent AG’s office.
Note that the redesign of the AG’s office and creation of the Federal Auditor does not necessitate Constitutional action. It can be done by Congress. However, what Congress giveth, Congress can taketh away, so a Constitutional Amendment mandating it could remove Congressional meddling.
I am not sure that what you suggest would not encourage the creation of a permanent “shadow government” to ack as a check on that elected government. But there are elements to your proposal that bear discussion, JinStL.
(third paragraph, third line) “Democratic president”
democrat president…nothing democratic about them
demonic.
Sundance thank you my freind solutions is what we need .direction is what many have ben waiting for looking forwerd to more details soon . as always prayers for you ad rem and everyone at CTH R.D
You had me until you said GOP. They are responsible for where we are today.
No, they’re not. We The People are responsible for where we find ourselves today.
We abrogated our responsibilities as citizens to a bunch of elected thugs and gave them power over our lives.
It was the GOP of Abraham Lincoln that saw the need to return the Whig Party to its Declaration principles of Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.
Today, we need to return the GOP to those fundamental, basic principles again.
To Late
Like an infection that has spread to far. How can the body of the government be saved given that the patient is about to die. One doctor may look at another and say if we had only had this medication two years ago but it seems to late.
I am in favor of seeing the patient treated but I fear that any conventional measure is now to late.
Are all of these treatments or actions taken for planned for a each Tier to late?
At this point, I can only see a military solution. Am I wrong?
Please explain.
The Real Reset
Local elections, honest local elections can only take place now when supervised by the U.S. Military. Every, state with the same rules. One vote, one person (in person) and only for the state you live in. And, you must be a U.S. citizen with proof of it.
Or you can continue along this course to self destruction.
And, this election is for all of the offices from top to bottom!
Can’t happen.
The US Constitution gives complete authority over Presidential elections to the individual State Houses.
You better think of something else.
NOT!!
US Constitution Article I Section 4 Clause 1 “The Times, Places and Manner of holding Elections for Senators and Representatives, shall be prescribed in each State by the Legislature thereof; but the Congress may at any time by Law make or alter such Regulations, except as to the Places of chusing Senators.”
if it is limited strictly to state legislatures explain the 2nd portion “but the Congress may at any time by Law make or alter such Regulations, except as to the Places of chusing Senators.”
Sigh, the States can choose whomever they like for their electoral college. Congress has no say.
It gets even worse, SCOTUS leaves electoral disputes to the State Supreme Courts, they have a history of simply refusing to hear and pass it back. No-one controls the county electoral counting / booth rules but the State.
But if they have purged the military of patriots, how does that work?
One last thing – Term limits on all of the offices from top (President) to Bottom (School Board).
If voting wasn’t so corrupted, *votes* would impose those term limits you seek. Actual term limits without votes required, though, would only lead to more corruption.
With term limits, politicians would have zero incentive to answer to their constituents, the voters. They could be voted in on a pretext, and then go to town, knowing it won’t matter what the voter thinks of them after they take office.
Real votes (that aren’t stolen) are a great motivator. Election years are in fact the only time our politicians listen to the voter, at least those whose election machines are not yet hacked.
Add term limits and bring back dueling, too. First up at ten paces: Schumer vs. Cruz.
yes, but only if it is one pace – one of them might miss otherwise!
SteveT
I think Navarro and Ziegler have the seeds of an equivalent America First domestic capitalist economy. i.e. small, medium and hopefully large USA businesses that can ally with these movements.
Small business is in the cross hairs of Covid and big tech and big banks anyway, the time for economic patriotism is now.
I agree completely with the 17th Amendment argument. Even making Senate terms 2 years like House ones would probably help.
But the real solution is to do what has been done here in the UK–spread the bureaucracy around the nation rather than have it concentrated in the capitol. Why should the whole country be forced to pay to support the DC establishment? Share the wealth, e.g, put the Dept. of Labor in Oshkosh, the FDA in Wichita, CDC in St. Louis, etc., etc., etc.
We’ve heard Ric Grenell talk about how the biggest problem in DC is that the same pool of (Princeton, Harvard, etc.) people always must be hired from. Breaking up the DC concentration of the federal government would go a long way in breaking up the Swamp (and return VA to red state status when people are told they can move to Oshkosh to keep their role or find another line of work).
I like this too. This is a goal for our newly non-controlled by the Senate Electoral Branch.
The headquarters of the Space Force is in Huntsville, AL if I’m not mistaken. This is a step in the right direction.
You can tell how good of a decision it was by how strongly it was fought.
Sundance, I read this entire thing. I like and agree with it. I do have one other question or idea, however. If President Trump were elected in 2024, I would also add in that he should promise to fire every single person in the DOJ, State, FBI, CIA, NSA, Homeland Security, Everything that moves that he has the legal authority to fire. Clean house and start over. Perhaps even use his mandate to move those institutions outside of Washington D.C. .. ?
I agree with the idea that he needs to RUN ON doing this to set the stage properly, otherwise, he’ll be Russia-Gated again if not worse.
Remember Newt Gingrich highly recommended the same before President Trump was sworn in? He said remove All Obama appointees, all of them.
I’ve been saying this for years. Just hope that enough people act on it.
Many others have as well, V. Doninique. The voices are becoming a chorus.
Sundance, I read this entire thing. I love it.
I do have one other question or idea, however. If President Trump does run in 2024, I would also add in that he should promise to fire every single person in the DOJ, State, FBI, CIA, NSA, Homeland Security, Everything that moves that he has the legal authority to fire.

We The People Initiative: The process of returning Washington D.C. power back over to we the People
I also want to add, at some point we need a new local “Contract With America” that is targeted toward local police, firemen, sheriffs, etc. – that draws a line in the sand and says they will not enforce things like, gun confiscation, forced vaccination, mask mandates, vaccine passports, and maybe to arrest any federal agents who enter the state to enforce such measures.
These kinds of measures would return power back to the states/cities dramatically, drain the swamp AND make our entire society more… how should I put this… quieter.
Without the federal government being such a powerful entity it’ll make the left (and media’s) entire operation and way of manipulation obsolete overnight. They think NATIONALLY on everything.
Once all red states and towns have a contract with America that says their local law enforcement will never go along with gun confiscation, forced vaccinations, vaccine passports – or any other evil things they can think of – they won’t know what to do. They’ll have to do it the genuine way I guess.
If we can get things sorted out on the local level, WHY do any of us need in any way anything of bigger government outside of that?!
What really is the goal? Self-governance or just a “kinder, gentler” Big Brother Nanny?
Sundance, I disagree with your assertion that if we fix the US Senate, that will fix the US government. It appears to me that you start from the position that the US government started out as a limited government and has metastasized into an unlimited government. Therefore, the way to fix the government is to return to some “golden age” where limited government is restored. This is a reactionary solution. I start from the position that our government has always been unlimited and fixing government requires a radical solution – establishing the first limited government in human history. Please note that Madison acknowledged the election of Representatives and the election of a President as the only limits on government. Placed against those 2 weak limits were all the unlimited powers granted to government by the Constitution. He argued against the Bill of Rights. If we did not have that today, it would be obvious to all how unlimited this Constitution is.
there are ONLY 18 enumerated powers given to the federal government to manage…I hardly call that “unlimited” the problem is over the 245 years of our existence man’s thirst for power has eroded the controls in the US Constitution on the expansion of those powers through overreach and electorate complacency…we thought that SCOTUS would protect the Constitution through the judici9al supremacy it had granted itself in 1803…states’ acquiescence in a centralized government assuming the overall control of public policy has been a slow but steady march through the years…the last 100+ years have been instrumental as oppressing forces have incrementally taken control of American institutions and imposed more control on our daily lives through this incrementalism
3 things: While we pursued Manifest Destiny there was always a place to live that was out of government reach. Arizona became the 48th state in 1912 and our Destiny was to see that government became a Leviathan because that’s what ALL governments do: they MUST control everything or believe they control nothing.
18 Powers. Some of which are Acts under other Powers. Let’s take Commerce: “…to regulate commerce with foreign nations, and among the several states, and with the Indian tribes.” That is absolutely unlimited. Any government could take that one unlimited power and derive anything they wanted from that. But the Constitution gives them Defense and a ton of others.
Finally, one of the irritating things that drives me crazy is the idea that the Constitution is great, it’s just screwed up by the people running things. Jay, Madison and Hamilton told us that we needed Best Men to run things and then did nothing to guide them in being Best. Don’t you recognize the old joke about Communism when it fails: “We had the wrong people running it. Next time it’ll be better.” Root Cause Analysis proposes that People rarely are at fault for a process failure. It is usually the process instructions that need correcting. Our process is the Constitution and it needs correcting so that regular people can run it, not just Best Men.
Yes, THANK YOU!!
We were never taught in school (I’m 72yo) why the secrecy of the meetings in Philadelphia when the only reason for the “delegation” was to completely ratify the Articles of Confederation. We were never taught WHY the Articles were trashed and a new constitution was crafted. We were never taught the difficulties encountered when putting out the Constitution to the various states for ratification. We were never taught WHY Patrick Henry and certain other delegates saw a need for writing and attaching the Bill of Rights. We were never taught WHY Rhode Island, for instance, was determined not to ratify the Constitution, even with the Bill of Rights, and was thus threatened with invasion and war to force ratification by the slim majority of the other newly-minted “states.” We were never taught the truth about how the Constitution and Bill of Rights BARELY made it, with ratification of the barest “majority” of states’ delegates.
We have been fed lies and thoroughly indoctrinated in lies, untruths, myths, and falsities for over 100 years, now. And anyone who brings up these inconvenient truths is immediately denounced as unpatriotic and a traitor.
The lies are prettier. And thus no one is interested in facts and truth, no matter “which side of the aisle” you’re on.
So, here we are. And you are right.
Thank you, Patrick Henry, at least!
FINALLY, the fires of Gondor are lit. Now we need to find our Aragon.
And kick out our Saruman!
Only possible once the One Ring is finally cast into the Fire for eternity.
You don’t have to look far. He said if we look for Him, He will be found of us.
Our Aragon has always been Jesus Christ Almighty God. That indeed was the deliberate symbolism Tolkien used and intended.
There is another great book on this issue titled “Unmasking the Administrative State.” It delves into how the legislature failed to rein in the intel agencies and others and how they have nearly invalidated the Constitution and Federalism.
Agree that a citizenry engaged at the local and state government levels is the foundation of self-governance.
Why is the citizenry largely disengaged now? Is this simply a moral failing?
The Founders’ affluence freed them from the everyday burdens of the common citizen, enabling these nobles to pursue studies and engagement in the philosophical and political matters.
Today, as then, the overwhelming majority of common decent folk are likewise overburdened with the mundane, leaving precious little time for study and real political engagement at the local level. State level even more out of reach.
All of the advances of modern life created new inescapable demands on our time and energy. The paradox is that these things that were supposed to free us only enslaved us to different burdens.
Meanwhile, the noble virtues have been subverted and dissipated, with the decline of Christianity and the rise of postmodernism courtesy of the liberal arts academy.
And since the secular postmodernist is overrepresented in the group with time and inclination for political activism, those are the ones poisoning our government now. At all tiers.
So it is the same problem precluding political engagement by a moral citizenry as at the time of the Founders, except with the (post)modern twist, and the loss of the nobles to represent the common citizenry.
Talk is cheap. We have been talking about this problem for some time now.
“We will look at getting involved in local politics next week. This week we have a long list of pedestrian things we have to do in addition to the over-demanding full time job, and everything on our do-list has to get done this week.”
Or, increasingly:
“Plandemic duress, survival mode, no time or resources for local politics.”
Next week: Repeat. Ad infinitum.
Will neo-nobles step up to counter the postmodernists?
It’s up to US.
This woman is amazing. A Treeper posted another video of her recently which was my first exposure to her and I was blown away. Same with this video. She is serious and fierce.
We can’t fix anything and elections are ineffective until we get rid of the voting machines and go back to the old way.
I am SURPRISED SD with your efforts at research you have FAILED to do so for the legality of the 16th and 17th Amendments’ ratification…they were NEVER constitutionally ratified and the information is readily available telling you that
Sundance starts on the correct note: the US Senate is truly a disaster. If I try to identify an uncorrupted Senator, I truly can’t.
Once in a while Rand Paul. Once in a while Josh Hawley. But seriously, who there is a true Patriot? They are worms.
More and more I hear Republican Senators declare what should be done, but not lift a finger to do it. They are masters of deception.
If they have fooled you, ask yourself this question: which Republican Senator stood up to allow PDJT a single recess appointment? It only took one, and there were none.
–“It only took one, and there were none.”–
There seems to be some misunderstanding about the Senate going into recess. It takes a full vote of the Senate to go into recess. The “single vote” that counts is a single senator objecting to the call for a consent of a unanimous agreement.
If one Senator objects to the consent, then it has to go to a full vote. It is the full vote that Senators do not want as their vote would then be on record. That is what makes them the spineless creatures that they are.
The crux of the matter is–Both the House and the Senate have decided to never go into ‘official recess’ as that would weaken their power over the office of the President, no matter who the President is.
Hence , they created the ‘proforma’ nonsense sessions that as long as a couple of congress critters show up in either body of Congress for even a 1 minute “session” every 3 days, they are officially “in session”.
But yes, I take your point that not a single one has objected to force them to actually vote and be on record.
Every new MAGA Senatorial candidate – and there are several – needs to be educated on this recess appointment issue, and needs to pledge that it will be in their arsenal when they get to office.
And if the House uses the same process – this education needs to reach Majorie Taylor Greene and Matt Gaetz. We can do that now.
Marjorie is already doing everything she can as a single Congressman to force the House into going on the record with votes that they do not wish to reveal. I think she would love this. I’ve never seen it mentioned anywhere except here at CTH.
Action item!
The local, state, and federal bureaucracy has to be addressed immediately along with the SES, as well.
History does not paint an encouraging picture. For thousands of years we know people have tried, without success, to create a utopia. At the heart of the problem we have a problem of the heart. Some 2600 years the ancient Hebrew people were roundly condemned: “Can an Ethiopian change his skin or a leopard its spots? Neither can you do good who are accustomed to doing evil.” (Jeremiah 13:23).
Jesus spelt it out more clearly, “There is nothing outside a person that by going into him can defile him, but the things that come out of a person are what defile him. . . . For from within, out of the heart of man, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, coveting, wickedness, deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, pride, foolishness. All these evil things come from within, and they defile a person.” (Mark 7:15, 19-22). For the ancient Hebrews the heart was associated with thinking, reasoning and understanding – what we describe today as the mind.
There is no human fix for this problem. Jesus called his hearers to turn away from a lifestyle marked by any of these and to turn back to the eternal God. He called them to believe his teaching and put their trust in him. He kept reminding them that the change would not happen through their own efforts but by the transforming power of God. That is why Americans need to get on their knees and read through the Christian Scriptures. There they will find a way through these insurmountable problems that the country and world faces. If not, even the best strategies are doomed to fail because of our fallen human nature.
There lies the problem most will not turn to Christ so we toil in vain.
We do not know who will turn if the message is clearly proclaimed to them. Both in America and England considerable numbers that listened to Wesley and Whitfield during the Great Awakening had their lives turned around.
Yes, but exactly what is “turning to Christ”?
The problem is going into God’s Word yet still seeing it through the lens of human “government”/rulership. He will always let us have our own way, and our own way is not His.
1 Samuel 8
Until Christians wean themselves off the lie of needing human rulers “under God” this mess can never be cleaned up.
What is needful besides the Ten Commandments and Christ’s Golden Rule? Even for the secularists, the last five Commandments with the Golden Rule are enough to live decent upright lives among themselves.
Everything else is evil sin. Everything else puts mere creatures, man, on God’s throne. That is blasphemy against His Holy Spirit, the unforgivable sin.

First of 10 commandments God gave to Moses
(Old Testament)
Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
Exodus 20:3 KJV
The LORD our God made a covenant with us in Horeb.
The LORD made not this covenant with our fathers, but with us, even us, who are all of us here alive this day.
Deuteronomy 5:2,3 KJV
Thou shalt have none other gods before me.
Deuteronomy 5:7 KJV
Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:
And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:
And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes.
And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates.
Deuteronomy 6:4-9 KJV
(New Testament)
Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
This is the first and great commandment.
Matthew 22:36, 37, 38 KJV
And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
Mark 12:30 KJV
Yes. Thank you.
So where is there any command or mandate or permission, even, to put human rulers over us? That really is my question: in relation to God’s place in our lives, what is human government?
No, no. Human government is NOT “under God.” Human government by its very adoption and establishment is violation of the first four of the Ten Commandments. It is violation of the first, most important Great Commandment cited by Christ in His Golden Rule.
That’s what I was trying to get at. Every single one of those Scripture citations should be courageously looked in the eye, and then the sin of bumping God off His throne for the sake of physical kings over us should be repented of, and efforts taken to throw off the yoke of partnership and cooperation in evil.
If we truly love the LORD our God with all our heart, soul, mind and body, there is no possible room for anything else to equally share His authority over us.
Period.
Do we really have that kind of time left? The flooding of our country with hostile military age young men.Does anyone think they will be deported? The Republic is in its last gasps. Look at the damage Taliban Joe has done in just 8 months. We need a divorce in this nation. We just plain hate each other. The only paths I see are Secession or unCivil War.Oh theres one other- buy a prayer rug and prepare to pray with your nose in the ass of the guy in front of you.
–“Do we really have that kind of time left? “–
No, we do not. But that is exactly why I agree with Sundance’s approach. Seems contradictory doesn’t it? So hear me out.
No matter what we do and no matter what happens there needs to be a solid platform in place to guide the people in determining our governance currently and going forward.
If we protest, if we revolt, if we have a civil war, if we shut down any part of state and federal overreach, if we………..???? There needs to be a well laid out plan and common sense framework in place so the people know that all is not chaos and there is a method to govern without our current corrupt structure.
In other-words, Sundance’s layout addresses the needed long hard slog approach, but also gives a framework and assurance of governance by We The People if dire short term consequences happen. There needs to be a common sense fallback to see us through the dangerous times of chaos and how to come out of it without leaving it up to the whim of the victors and possibly even more draconian measures of suppression to ‘get us through this’.
I fear I am not expressing my thoughts very well, but I hope the gist of what I’m trying to express gets through somehow.
I understand from what you say that we should not take the bait of reacting with violence, because Fedgov is hoping that happens so they have an excuse to use violence on us.
Rather, we have to use our superior numbers to create political spaces where the rule of law still functions.
How about secession? Creating spaces where local communities can determine their own lives without outside, bigger “government” interference. Like-minded people already gravitate to each other, and properly so. There’s nothing preventing us from sorting ourselves into our preferred associations except our life-long brainwashing “against” “segregation” and “discrimination.” And we all know that’s a lie. But we’re afraid of saying it out loud, much less acting on it.
Christian communities should be among the first to form their own local associations, peacefully, voluntarily, cooperatively, and show the rest of the outside violent world this is the safe, sane, socially free and responsible way to live with each other.
We just have to get past the idea that this is somehow “unpatriotic” or against Christ’s teachings. It emphatically is not, but rather exactly what He taught, throughout His Word.
“Come out from her [Babylon the unholy], my people, and be separated to Me, and be holy, for I am holy.” (Essential paraphrase of many, many verses!)
Great post, Sundance! The nation got buffaloed with the ratification of the 17th Amendment. We’ve been saddled with beauty contest winners ever since. The governor of Massachusetts can move to Utah and become a senator with little trouble. The wife of a popular president from Arkansas can become a senator from New York with little trouble. And we’re never done with folks like these, once they get in…
This is a brilliant plan that will be extremely difficult if not impossible to pull off in the Blue Commie states like NY and California.
The problem is that in the big Dem cities there is no real “grass roots” like there is in the suburbs where I live.
I have been involved in local politics in my town, county and school district for most of my life. I ran for town board as a Libertarian and as a Repub and helped others to get elected, so I know how the NY system works.
The absolutely corrupt, Demo Marxist, Downstate counties decide the votes for the rest of the state.
As a conservative Republican my vote is meaningless in a national election.
However, we still can elect decent people to Congress unless the Dems manage to take over the district which is what happened a few years back after all the Commies moved up from NYC and started voting here, using their weekend homes as permanent residence.
Sundance has the best and only feasible plan I am seeing but the devil is literally in the details.
And VT! Part of a good strategy is not wasting resources that could better be utilized elsewhere. We need to do our part locally, but there are states/activities that need to be prioritized ~ some of those devilish details you mentioned that need to be fleshed out for the overall effort to be successful.
“[…] extremely difficult if not impossible […]” President Trump’s starting point…
My belief is that the systems rotten core is too far gone……… and will eventually lead to its implosion from within as other nations have done…………….. by simply collapsing under its own weight of indulgence.
I beleive that we should also repeal the sixteenth amendment. Eliminate the income tax. Tweeking the tax code to pick winners is what attracts the big donors. It should be replaced with a national sales tax.
Not national. State-determined sales taxes so that states can compete economically, and people can vote with their feet.
It should be replaced by NOTHING.
The country came to greatness before the 16th and 17th Amendments. There’s no need for the Federal Income tax, or any tax. Let the politicians take up day jobs to pay their way; let people voluntarily donate/fund whatever projects they want. If other people’s money isn’t available, it won’t be spent and wasted and endlessly demanded more of.
End the Fed. Stop the wanton printing presses. Let the people determine “money” and “currency” and “legal tender;” let the people buy, trade, and barter at will.
None of anyone else’s business.
Without stealing from you and me, without the Federal Reserve System, there is no money for foreign adventuring and wars. There are no “loopholes” for the very wealthy to exploit. They will be reduced to pleasing their lowly customers or go out of business, as is right and proper.
“Charity” should be brought back to local communities, to help their own people.
Stop feeding the beast. Starve it to death. Freedom follows.

A repeal of the 17th amendment would place the Senate in Republican hands until all the undocumented Dems can be amnestied.
The Dems would never stand for it, but it’s nice to dream about it
The U.S Senate Dems and establishment GOP can’t stop an Article 5 Convention.
The senate was the bane of Trump’s Presidency. They are totally isolated from the will of the people. They shouldn’t be because there are elections, but it’s not working for a variety of reasons. I don’t think there is a single member that isn’t corrupted on some level. Sounds good Sundance.
Senate was NEVER meant to be chained to the “will of the people”…it was set up by the FFS to represents the STATES’ interests to prevent an expanding federal government from oppressing the states and citizen’s rights…the fraudulent 17th Amendment (never ratified) changed this dynamic
Are they all corrupt, or are there some Senators keeping their powder somewhat dry so as not to be knee-capped by those who are corrupted? Look at the list (url below) of Senators up for re-election in 2022. It would be nice to know if all should be booted or if there are any worth keeping. Again, it goes to strategy and the best use of resources. Of course, without Election Integrity, everything is moot.

Tier ONE starts it all.
And it should end it all, too.
There is absolutely no need for “state” government or “Federal”/”National” government.
Every local community should be its own unto itself.
Bravo!!
All three tiers require fair elections without any cheating.
