The American woman who founded the Kabul Small Animal Rescue confirms that these were dogs in her care, including 50 contractor dogs. Just got done reading this study. Fairly large, and good attempts to make things randomized and with control. Chock full of lots of statistics. I am not a statistician, but my take is as follows:
-Cloth masks are useless, but we all know that already.
-They report a statistical significance (but not that much) on the use of surgical masks v. control (no masks).
-HOWEVER, all of the benefit in the use of surgical masks only are in those > 50 years old. For those < 50 years old, there is no difference!
What does this mean? So, if someone refers to this study, the benefit in this study is for surgical masks, but only for older folks. Thus, in my opinion, this study cannot be used to justify the use of masks in school children. But I am sure there are those that will try.
The idea that age 50 is the magic cut off date for when surgical masks start working is total nonsense. Can this type of a research get more ridiculous? Oops….shouldn’t have asked that…..because it’s likely to get more ridiculous. My bad.

Anyone have any thoughts on how this new Texas heartbeat law regarding abortion may play into the national discussion about vaccine mandates? We’ve heard for years that people should have the right to do what they want with their own body. And now the pro-life movement seems to have some momentum in Texas, while at the same time the threats of vaccine mandates and that particular “personal choice“ is being threatened by the Biden regime and CDC and others. Is the double standard by the pro-abortion / pro- vaxxers going to help stop these vaccine mandates ?

Our Insurance Commissioner here in Washington State sent out a missive yesterday blasting the Texas Republicans for pushing through this law, comparing them to the Taliban! Two State Senators have asked for his resignation over it, stating that his words were divisive and inflammatory…it’s Washington so, of course, nothing is going to come of their request. He was throwing red meat to the leftists that have taken over my once beautiful state and will probably get an award from some feminist group for his “courage”.
But, the part I found even more interesting was THIS sentence, included in his statement: “The Texas law is a threat to women’s health and – if allowed to stand – could become a model for other states to restrict the ability of women to make choices about their own health.”
If we actually had a functioning media, someone might bother to ask him WHY he is so supportive of giving women the ability to make “choices” about their own health when it comes to abortion but NOT v@xination?! Our Governor has issued the most stringent mandate in the country, and is currently being sued by several state unions and even the RINO former AG says he has crossed a line with his narrow religious exemption clause which asks if the worker has EVER received ANY medication or any kind from a doctor as an adult as a way to exclude them from having a religious objection to THIS mandate!

Very little was said about the recent loss of servicemen in the helicopter crash off San Diego. These crashes are seldom the fault of the pilot, its failure of the decrepit and unsafe fleet of helicopters these young men are forced to fly. They cannot keep up with the maintenance of these birds, the guys who do the work are stretched thin and overworked. God help our young men and women in today’s military–
It’s a tragedy that an accident took some lives.
But most helicopters and airplane accidents/crashes are the pilots either making in error in judgement or lack operating experience.
It’s a dangerous job.
I’m not saying the equipment didn’t fail which it very well could have.
Investigators will draw it out.
I flew fighter-jets and each month we would get a briefing as to crashes around the World and causes of crashes. Ninety-five percent were pilot error. I am not saying there may not have been some mechanical issues, but Pilot failure to follow proper emergencies procedures during an emergency was assigned pilot error.

I read post after post with poll numbers, talk of 2022 elections, Biden having to step down and I wonder, have you really thought this thing through? We had some very powerful people commit treason, they did this with the knowledge of the consequences if they fail, that there is no coming back. Do you think they did this with no end game planned, with the chance that in two years everything can just be undone with the next election, or rolled back if an audit shows the fraud committed? You could video evidence of them sitting in a room planning every detail, it would not matter, they are committed at this point, they will not simply step down, stakes are to high.

But they never did… and we watched it all go down like a bad nightmare.

We have relatives who live in Parker and Highlands Ranch, Colorado. I am surprised at this walkout because the residents are mainly white and upper class; quite liberal in their thinking and lifestyles, followers of mainstream media. However, evangelicals have become a larger part of these communities and perhaps that’s what’s driving the anti-govermnent demonstrations.

So, if our society is as racist and homophobic as the Left would have us believe, why have we seen a significant increase in POC and LGBTQ characters in ads and commercials?

But the judge specifically noted that the platform itself never mentioned Mac Isaac or the name of his business in its several posts on the matter. The judge specifically said that news sites reported the business owner’s name, never Twitter itself.
She also wrote that Twitter has a First Amendment right to “decide what to publish and what not to publish on its platform.”

According someone we know who works at Quantico, 1,000 “refugees” have arrived at that military base with 4,000 more coming. He said are all young men and they are having a really hard time controlling them. “Very aggressive” and “angry” were the words he used. He is telling friends and family to be careful once these guys get out.
I guess Virginia isn’t letting them come and go like the reports in Wisconsin.
