In an effort to keep the Daily Open Thread a little more open topic we are going to start a new daily thread for “Presidential Politics”. Please use this thread to post anything relating to the JoeBama Administration and Presidency.
“This is no small thing, to restore a republic after it has fallen into corruption. I have studied history for years and I cannot recall it ever happening. It may be that our task is impossible. Yet, if we do not try then how will we know it can’t be done? And if we do not try, it most certainly won’t be done. The Founders’ Republic, and the larger war for western civilization, will be lost.”
“But I tell you this: We will not go gently into that bloody collectivist good night. Indeed, we will make with our defiance such a sound as ALL history from that day forward will be forced to note, even if they despise us in the writing of it.”
This thread will refresh daily and appear above the Open Discussion Thread.

California Psychiatrist describes Covid measures as being more sinister politics and less health

Tucker Carlson open:
And McConnell is making sure Democrats stay in power.
And Tucker Carlson did his part last year to put them there.
He has as much blood on his hands as all the others who helped execute the election theft.
Exactly.
And whats the deal with posting Carlson videos without disclaimer like he’s some kind of advocate for freedom and America?
Oopsie:
https://www.axios.com/migrant-children-biden-administration-a597fd98-03a7-415c-9826-9d0b5aaba081.html
“The U.S. government has lost contact with thousands of migrant children released from its custody, according to data obtained by Axios through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request.
“Why it matters: Roughly one-in-three calls made to released migrant kids or their sponsors between January and May went unanswered, raising questions about the government’s ability to protect minors after they’re released to family members or others in the U.S.
“”This is very dismaying,” said Mark Greenberg, who oversaw the unaccompanied minors program during the Obama administration and was briefed on Axios’ findings. “If large numbers of children and sponsors aren’t being reached, that’s a very big gap in efforts to help them.”“
“Between the lines: The government is already investigating whether dozens of migrant children were released to labor traffickers, as Bloomberg Law recently reported.
“This happened in 2014 as well, when migrant teens were released to traffickers and forced to work on an egg farm.”
Speaking of which:
https://news.bloomberglaw.com/daily-labor-report/u-s-probes-trafficking-of-teen-migrants-for-poultry-plant-work
“Federal law enforcement officials are investigating whether unaccompanied migrant teenagers have been released from government custody to labor traffickers who sent them to work in agricultural processing facilities in numerous cities, according to an internal email and two sources briefed on the situation.”
Isn’t it interesting that places that want cheap labor just happened to be a fit and that the kids reportedly wind up there. (Nobody checking Covid passports?) Isn’t it interesting that they have locations listed vaguely in the story, but where are specific businesses brought up? (If restaurants have too many tables close together, you’re in big trouble, but if you’re a plant known as a hotbed for this type of labor, are we really seeing the same level of enforcement?)
Remember that whole E-Verify thing that could help shut down illegal trafficking, and notice how that never really seems to be a huge priority as far as using it to stop this?
Some Treepers have personal experience with the E-Verify from the employer’s standpoint and it is ugly. E-Verify is there alright, but you best not use it if you know what’s good for you!
Just how many people answer calls from unfamiliar numbers?
If you don’t want to speak with a person on a call list, call that person from an unfamiliar number and be sure not to leave a voice mail message.

Look at that bus!
It hasn’t been a tropical storm since Monday afternoon.
Maintain your drainage system.
NYC ( and probably all of NYS) has got to have one of the worst infrastructures in the U.S.
Even in the best of times, it can be a problem.
I lived in a town outside of Albany for a while that still had *wooden* water pipes from the 1800’s!
That’s just *one* of it’s problems>>>> old cities that had infrastructure early on, much of which has never been updated since.
NYC’s water supply aqueducts are old but excellent (who knows when the new one will be finished, it’s been under construction for a long time) but much of the rest is neglected. Warren Wilhelm is wrecking the place.
Parts of PA. bad, too.
“Emergencies” have always been the pretext on which the safeguards of individual liberty have been eroded—and once they are suspended it is not difficult for anyone who has assumed such emergency powers to see to it that the emergency will persist. – F.A. Hayek
