A smart move and announcement today from President Trump. In order to stop the establishment GOP from protecting Liz Cheney with a field of candidates, he will interview them and select one candidate for a MAGA endorsement. Uniting the vote behind one candidate will stop the 2022 ¹splitter strategy from succeeding.
♦ Cheney is being challenged in Wyoming by three opponents:
Anthony Bouchard [Website Here]
Chuck Gray [Website Here], and
Darin Smith [Website Here]
¹CTH spent two years after the manipulated RNC club nomination process in 2012 (Romney) to find the exact and specific playbook the GOPe use to protect their power. The research took place between 2013 and November 2015 eventually culminating with our explanation of the 2016 “Splitter Strategy“.
We then put together an outline of the political “Tripwires” used by the RNC in late 2015 and early 2016 to explain the processes, pattern and predictable consequences when the splitter strategy is deployed. The RNC roadmap was for Jeb Bush in 2016. The club was not happy with us.
A simple concept I hope President Trump broaches with all three – we need the best candidate forward to win. If you’re not, please step aside and support THE candidate to beat Liz Cheney.
Send Cheney to pasture – Wyoming deserves better.
<Send Cheney to pasture…>
Only fitting for a cow 🙂
Cows are generally innocuous and lovely creatures. Liz Cheney is Liz Cheney.
Re “Only fitting for a cow 🙂 ”
And, that’s no bull! 😉
Agreed – anyone who is prepared to step aside if they are not the chosen challenger should be promised a spot in a future Trump Administration.
This is a truly good idea. President Trump must reach beyond the DC insiders for Part Two, and tap true loyalists.
She will get demolished.
I bet she won’t run to avoid humiliation.
But … what about all those leftist billionaires living in Jackson Hole? Won’t they, and all their house servants, vote for Cheney?
Wondering if she simply switches parties and becomes a registered Democrat.
I think declaring as a Dimm is a harder path than her continued dissemination as a supposed R
A few days ago I read a headline about Cheney….. bragging about how much more money she raised for her campaign compared to how much money Elise Stefanik raised, and complaining about how she (Cheney) was treated thanks to Pres. Trump.
LOL! I love how it is always Trump’s fault with these people! No, Liz, you brought it upon yourself.
What about the prospect of voter fraud? Elections aren’t what they used to be.
Local GOPes know how to use the splitter strategy, too.
We could’ve been rid of James Clyburn years ago, if it weren’t for the Charleston GOPe ExComm and Nancy Mace (yes, that Nancy Mace.) The same James Clyburn who consolidated the AME network behind Biden. (The head of the Charleston GOPe at that time, moved counties and ran for SC state house… and won.)
We could’ve also been shut of Lindsey Graham years ago, too, but again… splitter strategy at the local level.
Local politics really do affect national politics, and the small fish are capable of learning from the big fish.
It’s a big club and they know how to wield it.
Oh that’s a keeper!
TreeClimber please look at the SC Primary numbers. Do you believe Clyburn got behind Biden more than he did for the First Black President or more than for Hillary? SC got new voting machines and the “Clyburn Narrative” hides the fact that Sanders, Warren, and Buttigieg individually all beat Biden.
I’m from the elect the most conservative that can win club. We may have to accept someone that we agree with 80% of the time in order to win back the house. However, the 20% we disagree with should not include our basic rights nor backstabbing Trump.
Dude, it’s Wyoming, I think we can go MAGA.
I suspect Cheney is as much an aberration as she is an abomination.
Exactly.
The percentages sure do get faked.
We need people that will go full force.
A squish is a RINO
20 % of the time a failure? That’s a Demo-nazi. They can vote for every trillion dollar strangulation of your country and rights with the Unitraitors and still say they agreed on 80%.
Especially with D.C. “math.”
Sundance, this deserves an award!
We knew the simplified concept, but this explains how that RINO, John Cornyn has managed to remain a henchman in the Senate, despite so many Texans LOATHING him!
This Texan loathes John Cornyn.
And I don’t feel a bit better towards the Bush clan. They have another running for AG. I hope we have better sense than to elect him!
This is another good sign that more of the insider enemy is becoming known so it can be effectively countered. There were too many RINO etc. surprises during Trump’s presidency. sundance wasn’t surprised. (ie Splitter strategy 2015)
But he started almost from scratch in 2016 as the Dem and RINO hoaxes were being engineered and some better people kept their distance from him at first. But this time P Trump is actively rooting out as many scoundrels as possible before the next election and hopefully, his 2nd Admin in 2024. If not earlier. But that might not be possible no matter how much fraud they uncover due to time consuming multiple recounts and lengthy litigation.
When President Trump is inaugurated on January 20, 2025 the first thing he needs to do is fire every head of every federal agency, and four levels down as well. Cut the head off the snake and then gut it as well.
.
Sundance, identifying and explaining the splitter strategy may have been the most educational work you’ve ever done, at least for me personally — and that’s even above and beyond your brilliant economic analyses.
I thank you so very very very much!
Will covid passports be an acceptable form of ID in 2022???
There’s a post SD did a while ago and just shred again. It would be good for you to read.
Then again this is a troll tactic.
Go read SD’s guide on comments.
That’s not trolling, that’s a joke.
Well, it went ever my head. I’ve been at TGP too much and that’s how they troll. Off-topic, passive-aggressive jabbing.
Yes, it was a joke. I am not a troll, I’m a realist. We must stop the covid passports/mandates or the 2022 elections will be run by an authoritarian government. And how do those kind of elections end up?! It’s hard to challenge people on here. It’s difficult to get them to open their eyes and see what’s happening in the present. My entire point is that the 2022 elections will not matter unless the current tyranny stops. Things are moving fast. Senator McConnell says get the vaccine or else face shutdown. Democracy?! Lol…
THE GREAT RESET.
6uild 6ack 6etter.
We really really need someone to take out lil Marco also.
FL finally has a good Gov, but our senators are the worst.
It’s my understanding Trump has endorsed Lil Marco.
Isn’t that the case?
Rick Scott might not be great – but he was one of few Senators to object to certification in January was he not? That has got to count for something as most of his colleagues sat on their hands – including his buddy Marco.
And Sundance – how would you assess these 3 candidates. Which one do you feel is the most authentic MAGA candidate?

It’s standard practice to complain about anyone who gets endorsed by President Trump. But…
None of us know what conversations have taken place, or will soon take place, between those candidates and the President and what the content and direction of those conversations were or will be.
Absent that knowledge, I am perfectly happy to rely on President Trump’s judgement.
Suggest you do the same.
Jeff Sessions, Bill Barr, Rex Tillerson, Ronna Romney, Mitch McConnell, Reince Prebus, all come to mind as Trump appointees and/or endorsements.
But I digress.
President Trump eventually fired most of the people you name. Considering it from President Trump’s position, he can fire people but the question remains “who should replace them.” It’s not easy finding loyal servants. Think about one of the best Trump appointees, Ric Grenell. Can you name another pit bull who actually would go to the mat for the President? Maybe some of his Wolverines. But beyond that President Trump was pretty much out of friends in the GOP and government.
unfortunately those running or want to stay in office can’t be fired by President Trump. Therefore, its doubly important he screen without prejudice any and all who he wants us to vote for.
Civics 101. Does the President appoint/hire? NOPE. Only personal staff such as his press secretary. Huh? Then who does hire ALL political appointees? The Trump hating SENATE HIRES all political appointees or refuses to hire them.
In fact, the Senate refused to even give initial job interviews to people President Trump wanted. Others lost money and time with lengthy Senate interviews only to be turned down.
Imho Trump brilliantly used the Swampy Senate’s scheme. Knowing who the Senate would hire, Trump elevated, used, then destroyed/neutralized alot of valuable
Swamp assets and influencers such as Mattis, McMasters and Bolton.
The Swamp expected him to follow DC rules around not firing people once they’d been hired to avoid the slurs of running a chaotic administration or having “bad judgement”. Thank God President Trump refused to play by the DC Swamps rules. He was given lemons and found a way to make lemonade.
Sadly some opiners still seem to believe the Swamp slurs and blame President Trump for what the Senate schemers did.
Suggest away. I will NEVER vote for Rat Rubio again. He LIED to Floridians that he was Tea Party to get his sorry azz elected the first time. He’s only interested in “mi patria” and “mi gente.” He can pound sand….in Cuba.
Thank you for your vow to help the monsters retain/expand their control of the Senate. This will help speed up the Communist take over of America. Hiring Communist Cabinet members will be a cinch with Rubio gone.
He didn’t say he wouldn’t vote republican just not Rubio. That’s the problem we get set on a person and refuse to look for another.
I repeat. You do not know what has taken place between President Trump those he is now endorsing.
You do not know what contracts have been signed in blood.
He got what he could get during his first term, but now he totally owns the Republican party. They only breathe when he gives permission.
Tell me, what was Kevin McCarthy doing at Bedminster a few days ago? Just enjoying a round of golf and a barbecue?
I think not.
President Trump’s judgment is the product of a lifetime of tough negotiations with people who battled fiercely for one-sided deals.
They lost.
Don’t join them.
I think President Trump is playing a long game here. He is bit by bit building the network he didn’t have in 2016 as an outsider. I am convinced his second term will be nothing like the first because it won’t be Trump’s first rodeo. He’s been in DC, and now thanks to the treachery of the Democrats and GOPe he has 4 years to get everything lined up.
The 47th president won’t get fooled the way the 45th was.
Being Realpolitik pragmatic =/= fooled. Imho a huuuge problem President Trump faced in his first term was the naivete of supporters who were fooled. He needed them to wake up and catch up. Could he just tell people what he knew? Nope. That would have triggered the shoot the bearer of bad news reaction; a reaction the duplicitous “conservative” outlets would have encouraged. Trump had to arrange for people to see for themselves and figure things out for themselves. Example? Pence.
You’re right. As Don Rumsfeld said, “You go to war with the army you have, not the one you want or might wish to have at a later date.” President Trump had to roll into Washington with the people at hand, many of whom were longtime Republican operatives who were lukewarm in their support at best, and downright subversive and insubordinate in the worst cases.
Donald Trump 2016 is not the same Donald Trump of today: And by 2024 he’ll have a much better team.
Heck – even TRUMP didn’t know if he’d win until late in the evening on Election Night 2016. Next time he’ll be much better prepared and equipped.
Yes, for example, I believe DeSantis is his VP running mate. That by itself is a gazillion times improvement of RINO Pence.
NO matter what MAGA 2024,
I saw a video here by Navarro. On it he stated that President Trump was listening to the wrong people and, until he stops, he will continue to make sometimes wrong choices. President Trump needs to listen to two kinds of people. One is himself and the other are the voters or MAGA. I suggest he set up a straw voting platform and get input from those impacted by his choice.
President Trump has always listened to everyone and trusted no one. Its what savvy people do. Losers live in echo chambers. Thank God President Trump doesn’t. Btw the Navarro comment seems VERY out of character. Got a link so your take can be vetted? Source: Trust me? Response: No.
Sorry, you absolutely wrong.
Love the photo. A current one might drop Kasich and Christie to add Cotton and Hawley or Nome. I would move Cruz to the center as the head duplicitous mariachi.
A few days ago, CTH listed the 10 GOP primary challengers for 2022. I donated to each of them, but did not know what to do for Wyoming. Now I do.
I wish Mr Trump would communicate more about who to support, because his endorsement is all that matters to me
Did we get our voting problem fixed? Or is Wyoming trustworthy?
I was under the impression our enemy could install anyone they wanted now that the steal has been perfected.
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.
Yates-The Second Coming
Trump’s choice of people around him hasn’t been to good…just sayin..
Criteria used to make your negative assessment and your credentials. Just asking…
I first learned of The Conservative Treehouse from Bill Whittle’s Afterburner, where he explained the incredible reporting CTH had done on the Trayvon Martin/George Zimmerman case. However, it was the uncanny accuracy of the 2016 GOPe “tripwire” predictions that really made me a believer. This blog is the real deal.
Thinking about the political prosecution of George Zimmerman: At the time I considered it incredible that the prosecution would literally manufacture a fake witness for their case and put an imposter on the stand. Now in hindsight I see it was just the beginning of The Beast revealing itself. After the Mid Year Exam and Crossfire Hurricane and Mueller I no longer find it hard to believe that the trusted authorities will lie, forge documents, and swear to false evidence before the court.
AND THE COURT DOESN’T CARE.
Jeff, it’s hard for the court to care when the NSA and its contractors pull judges to the side. It’s hard for these judges not to do as requested by the swamp, fearing that the swamp will reveal to the world that they prance around in women’s underwear, put their hair up in barrettes, shove a hamster up their rear, and record themselves singing “I’m a Little Tea Cup” for their online freak in a box. What judge wants their secret little parties getting out to their wives, let alone the public.
Which of the three is the MAGA candidate?
I mean the MAGA candidate from the getgo.
A quick glance at issues shows all three taking good, conservative positions.
Your link to Bouchard goes to a survey. His website is here:

Cheney will be a defense contractor lobbyist the day she looses. Born on 3rd base, Daddy took care of her. We need to Primary 2/3s of the Republican RINOs asap. INCLUDING Oklahoma !!
