In the last 2 weeks, I drove from Georgia to California, then back. There is plenty of infrastructure going on. I estimate that over 10% of the freeways on I-20/10 and then I-40 are work zones and there is actually work being done in about 70% of them.
Exactly, there is only so much work that you can do on our roads at any given time. Not to mention that we don’t have unlimited companies / crews that are qualified and have the equipment needed to do the work. Shutting down more sections of roads would slow traffic so much it would destroy our supply chains and economy. Their infrastructure bills only purpose is to line their pockets with our money!

I see too many morons in my Republican leaning county in Illinois with black lives signs and gay flags to ignore and tell myself most people are trending towards patriotism.
I live in Madison County, Illinois near St. Louis, which voted predominately for Trump in the 2020 election.
The only area in Madison County with a sizable number of “Black Lives Matter,” “Hate has no Home Here,” and “Love is Love,” signs and gay flags is the Edwardsville / Glen Carbon area. This is due to the large presence of liberal, woke students, faculty, and staff at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.
These signs and flags are rare elsewhere in the county. My neighborhood is full of American flags and even has a house with a “F*** Biden” flag flying beneath the American flag. There were many Trump signs and flags left up in my neighborhood even well after Biden was inaugurated.
I mention this to point out that there might be a unique reason specific to your local demographics as to why you are seeing so many of these signs and flags where you live.
Some people who spend most of their time in the Edwardsville / Glen Carbon area don’t even realize that these signs and flags are rare elsewhere in the county. They assume that what is true in their local surroundings also applies elsewhere.
I’m in McHenry County which was represented by the capable Don Manzullo before they wrote out his district and combined it with the effeminate Kinzinger. We have lots of gay pride here and too many black lives signs and Casten bumper stickers.

In my neck of the woods Democrats fly American flags. A friend of mine has a BLM sign in her front yard as well as an American flag. There are several yards in my deep red neighborhood with rainbow flags next to American flags. This woman is totally off her rocker and tone deaf. The vast majority of Democrats I have known are staunchly patriotic. Are they trying to boot people out of their party?

It’s hard to ignore and erase the context of the banner headline scrolled across the screen on CNN, NBC and ABC when she was interviewed yesterday afternoon. Saw it all on the side by side screens at the gym. As well as its tough to forget the race bating rants she gave as answers to interview questions.

In the last 2 weeks, I drove from Georgia to California, then back. There is plenty of infrastructure going on. I estimate that over 10% of the freeways on I-20/10 and then I-40 are work zones and there is actually work being done in about 70% of them.
Exactly, there is only so much work that you can do on our roads at any given time. Not to mention that we don’t have unlimited companies / crews that are qualified and have the equipment needed to do the work. Shutting down more sections of roads would slow traffic so much it would destroy our supply chains and economy. Their infrastructure bills only purpose is to line their pockets with our money!

I live in Madison County, Illinois near St. Louis, which voted predominately for Trump in the 2020 election.
The only area in Madison County with a sizable number of “Black Lives Matter,” “Hate has no Home Here,” and “Love is Love,” signs and gay flags is the Edwardsville / Glen Carbon area. This is due to the large presence of liberal, woke students, faculty, and staff at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.
These signs and flags are rare elsewhere in the county. My neighborhood is full of American flags and even has a house with a “F*** Biden” flag flying beneath the American flag. There were many Trump signs and flags left up in my neighborhood even well after Biden was inaugurated.
I mention this to point out that there might be a unique reason specific to your local demographics as to why you are seeing so many of these signs and flags where you live.
Some people who spend most of their time in the Edwardsville / Glen Carbon area don’t even realize that these signs and flags are rare elsewhere in the county. They assume that what is true in their local surroundings also applies elsewhere.
I’m in McHenry County which was represented by the capable Don Manzullo before they wrote out his district and combined it with the effeminate Kinzinger. We have lots of gay pride here and too many black lives signs and Casten bumper stickers.

In my neck of the woods Democrats fly American flags. A friend of mine has a BLM sign in her front yard as well as an American flag. There are several yards in my deep red neighborhood with rainbow flags next to American flags. This woman is totally off her rocker and tone deaf.
