I don’t know much about Glenn Youngkin other than he was endorsed by President Trump. That said, the Virginia governors race has been a bell-weather for the mid-term elections for quite a while.
.
Speaking of Virginia, a recent report shows that gasoline has reached $6.99/gal in the commonwealth. “Drivers were shocked when they got to the pump at a gas station in Virginia. The price on the pump was $6.999 at a Richmond BP station earlier this week.” (LINK)
What is the gasoline price in your neck of the woods?

Just passing thru…
$3.27 for regular
Wells (middle of nowhere) NV
$3.45 in the Reno, NV area.
$4.35 CA
$2.83 Regular
Melbourne, FL
Well there is no gas in northeast Georgia. Limited selection at grocery stores, restaurants etc. Some people cant work so harder than even normal to get help at home depot for example…..
Before everyone ran out they were charging abt 3,98
$2.89 in Snellville, Georgia. 25 miles east of Atlanta
Always liked Snellville. Before I had kids, we would drive thru there on our way to Athens to see the Dawgs play
For Liz Cheney’s former job, president Trump is now endorsing Elise Stefanik over challenger Chip Roy.
From the Desk of Donald J. Trump: Can’t imagine Republican House Members would go with… | Donald J. Trump (donaldjtrump.com)
Elise came up on my radar when she asked the right question exposing fired in disgrace Comey the clown ”when did you notify the White House, the DNI and congressional leadership”? He lied on public record when he claimed there was no DNI. It was James Clapper.
She was the rep who caught the lies of Ambassador Yovanovitch on Hunter Biden asking her to reconcile her previous lie.
Elise was the youngest representative to be elected until the democrats elected a former bartender AOC. Hum, quite a contrast and distinction between our two parties.
Efforts are being pushed to make her out to be a decepticon but she acts nothing of the sort and is a huge threat to the Marxist dems and RINO decepticons.
Filled up today and also filled up a plastic grocery bag just to be safe in case I run out of gas. Had to double bag it. Also had some extra large surgical gloves in the car and filled up a dozen of them. You can milk them things really good when you go to empty them in the gas tank. Paid $2.62 a gallon in upstate S.C. Thinking about getting a surgical glove that will hold 2 gallons and get a patent on it. These grocery bags don’t pour too good and these new gas cans are a pain in the arse to pour.
As long as your idea doesn’t catch fire.
I bet you would spill more from some government bureaucrat designed gas can with the space shuttle technology nozzle than you would from pouring it out from your grocery bags.
??
ROFL!!
Just clip the corner off the bag. The gas will come right out.
Just curious, how would a person so stupid as to put gasoline in a garbage bag, and then in their car, get that gasoline out of the bag and into their tank? I have enough problems brining turkeys overnight for the smoker in a garbage bag. Fluid tends to flow downhill so when you open the bag, the sides want to drop, releasing all the gasoline.
Yeah, I know you were joking but my question is valid. A measuring cup?
$3.05 per gallon of regular here in Provo, Utah at Costco last Sunday.
Up in north central Maryland regular $2.89 yesterday. $2.99 today.
I saw the same thing at the High’s in Whiteford. I went by it in the am and it was $2.89 and a couple of hours later it jumped up to $2.99/gal. By contrast, just 3/4 mile up the road is the Pa line and a mile or so inside Pa is a Royal Farms Store and the gas there is way above #3.00/gal. A lot of the Dutchmen from Pa come into Md to get their gas.
Somewhere liz cheney is seething, but that somewhere isnt Wyoming.
Gas prices in northern WY: $2.73.
The spouse has been in need for a new ride for awhile to replace the 2002 gas guzzler, so we purchased a 40 mpg hybrid. Not sure about other treepers, but the dealers lots here are slim pickins. The salesfolks all say the same thing: Lack of IC chips, other components, and rubber are killing supply.
I bought a hybrid highlander and it is getting 36 mpg/600 miles til each fill up. Lots of power as well
Wait till Obama Judge Boasberg in the DC Circuit shuts down The Dakota Access Pipeline which carries 5 million barrels of oil a day 700 miles to the refineries! Gas will be $10.99 a gallon and that’s just one pipeline. Biden wants to shutdown all of them!
But but but Biden’s secretary of energy said “A pipeline is the best way to transport oil and gas.”
But Warren Buffet doesn’t make mega bucks to kick back to the Dems from pipelines, they know who pays the piper calls the tune.
Warren Buffet only does what Mike Bloomberg lets him do
There will be that break of the camels back when someone steps in to stop this madness.
Do people know our Navy boarded a ship in the gulf of Arabia and took thousands and thousands of AKs and BMGs and sniper rifles and hundreds of grenade launchers off of one ship without a flag or origin including anti tank missiles?
Do you believe Osama and Biden or Kerry would allow this to happen ?
Or the corrupt SECNAV
Judges should not be allowed to have this much power when they are not even Supreme Court Justices.
Heck, not even Supreme Court justices should be allowed to have this much power.
Barr pointed that out about the rogue judges.
But unfortunately, evidently, he never meant to do anything about it.
Gretchen in Michigan shut down a pipeline from Canada just this week.
Nitro, West Virginia. Gas just jumped a dime today to $2.999. I have a 34 gallon gas tank on my truck, and I learned a long time ago to fill it up when it gets down to 3/4 tank, which I did just before the madness hit.
I haven’t bought gas since April 30th but it was $3.19 in Logan Utah then.
Rural Oregon, ~3.30/gal for diesel, roughly the same as regular 87 octane. Clear 93 is the high end, at 4.43/.gal. That’s non-ethanol 93 octane, often used in the beach buggies that run locally. All are about a buck less a gallon than I recently paid in CA, and those prices appear to be holding along the I-5 corridor in NorCal.
Truck stops are a bit better, as are the Indian casino fuel stations. Oregon has no state sales tax on fuel, but does have the state and federal fuel taxes. As commodity prices continue to inflate, those sales tax percentages become a marked factor too, which is why I’m glad Oregon has no state sales tax.
Good luck to Virginia and the VCDL.
Youngkin was not endorsed by President Trump until AFTER he won nomination.
Exactly right. I am very frustrated reading the comments here about Youngkin and Sears. They aren’t perfect but no one is.
$2.89 in SW FL as of yesterday morning… ?
Funny how so many stations in the SE are $2.89. We used to see fluctuations between retails of up to $.25; no more.
$3.79 Washington State.
Interview with Youngkin in late April from The Middle Resolution, who had endorsed him.
Ironically, in a field of 17 total candidates for 3 offices, The Middle Resolution endorsed ALL THREE eventual winners.
https://fb.watch/5tGItV7pvs/
Have you looked at the board of The Middle Resolution? Barf.
They’ve a mixed bag to be sure but they’ve done some good stuff. They really fought hard to stop medicaid expansion but Kirk Cox and his uniparty opportunists pushed it through. I am delighted Cox did not win. More than that, Cox isn’t running for his delegate seat either. Buh bye Cox! Guessing he will show up in McGuire Woods in 3, 2, 1… The other medicaid expansion patsy is Glenn Davis. He didn’t win either. At last the uniparty knows that we are remembering their traitorous ways.
LOL! Kirk Cox. What a gas bag. Buh-Bye is right.
Actually I liked Davis once I had a chance to sit and talk w/him, it was more like “visiting” as we say here in the South. I didn’t like him enough to vote for him, but until I had a chance to meet him I didn’t like him at all. He is really quite nice, I enjoyed chatting w/him, he seems to care about people in general, politically not my cup of tea though. I did not like the gay attack ad against him, I thought that was out of control.
Mike Cherry is running for Cox seat, Mike is awesome!
Middle Resolution loves $$$ more than conservatism.
Gas in rural southeastern PA is about $3.00 gal.
I have a lot of friends in VA. They have been posting back and forth trying to share info about where any gas stations are open.
I have not seen gas prices in VA at $6.99.
Boston around $3 and you can get it lower at some places. It did go up a bit but been hovering @$3.
$2.65 in lower Arkansas. Local wally was said to be out of gas.
$2.49 @Wallmart in Chattanooga on East Brainerd Rd.
In Long Beach, CA I paid $3.69 for regular at Arco. Before Biden was installed, it was about a dollar less.
In Central Alabama today gas was between $2.69 and $2.79 for regular at the stations I passed by.
in January it was around $2.00/gallon.
3.19 9/10 here at the local Shell-branded gas station outside Wasilla, AK. 3.29 9/10 – thanks to former Anchorage Mayor’s 0.10/gal revenue enhancer – down in Los Anchorage.
Waiting for the cost of food to skyrocket since almost all food products are shipped (literally, on ships) into Alaska.
Hate to think what is going to happen in the Native Villages that are off the road system.
$2.79 in Northern MN.
I don’t know what to think of President Trump’s endorsements. smh
$2.69 – 2.89 in NW Louisiana for regular.
$2.75, southeastern Tennessee.
$2.89. The week after the “election” it was $1.53 and steady.
SE Arizona, Graham County……$3.00……prices went up .65¢ after the thief who stole the election shut down the Dakota pipeline
Dakota is still operational…for now….Slo Joe shut down the Keystone XL
Liberal town in a Red state. Pulled into a small gas station to fill up five x 5 gallon cans with premium for my backup home generator. There’s an old guy at an adjacent pump filling up some cans too. He asks “lots of work to do?” and I don’t hide my sentiments and tell him that I’m getting gas for my generator in preparation for some bullshit event like that Colonial pipeline shutdown. He perks up and says something about how bad this Biden administration is. I agree with dumpster fire analogies. Then he’s done and on his way.
I’m still filling and another guy pulls up. He comments and I say pretty much the same thing. He says with disgust something like, ‘yeah such concern over that pipeline back east and yet the hypocrisy of Biden shutting down the Keystone XL here’.
Then a third guy as I’m finishing up. Same thing and I add in the rolling blackouts last year. He comes right out and says the Colonial pipeline shutdown was a false flag (I posted that here yesterday) and we proceeded to have a full blown discussion on prepping for the worst from this administration yet to come.
People are getting it. I briefly felt optimism for the first time in a long time.
$2.87 Strawberry, AZ
Gas here in lil ole Pontotoc, Mississippi is running $2.55 a gallon, regular. Goes up a few cents depending on the gas station. Its about 10 cents a gallon higher in Tupelo. Groceries are up $30-$40, especially beef and produce.
I met Mr. Youngkin on the trail numerous times. He presents well, very nice man w/a nice energy about him, he comes across as genuine. It would be great if I could put trust in him to not stab us in the back, but I won’t hold my breath. He sits on the Council on Foreign Relations, the Council that destroyed Europe. He has ties to all the wrong people, did a horrible, horrible photo op that presents him as 2A guy, (one of those that was so bad it is insulting for him to believe we are that stupid), he turned getting a shout out from Trump as more than it was, gave money to the SPLC, claims he didn’t know, and then owned it. He has run a billion dollar business, Carlyle Group, full of political ties. I would not be surprised if he was a Bilderburger or DAVOS tribal member.
Youngkin has a wife, kids, and lives in NOVA, that would be Northern Virginia, a suburb of DC. I met his son, polite kid. He hired the Security team that Trump used. He tried to buy off staffers from the other campaigns, as in big money for them to dump their candidate to come work for him. Every event he would pay for the entire restaurants meal whether they were there to see him or not. I always saw his staff driving brand new looking Surburbans, perhaps they are rentals, don’t know. Basically he swooped in last minute and bought the election. I really would love to love him and believe he will clean up VA, but time will tell. It is what it is.
Thanks for the comment. First informative comment I’ve read on here about the candidate.
I’m not sold on him either, like you said has ties to all of the wrong people. Lives in the wrong / worst part of the state. Comes across as a country club republican.
Gade was a good candidate for us and beat Warner, IMHO. We seem to have good Congressional candidates and Congress people but no one that can be appealing statewide because of the truly diverse set of circumstances from SW VA to RVA to VA Beach to the Valley to NOVA.
Gade is a nice guy, and very funny, but he is a RINO and had a horrible campaign staff. I believe he did win, just like Nick won. I get really tired of the plants that the RPV, or whomever, puts in the races to draw off votes, i.e. Jack White Maeve Rigler. It isn’t the law, but I wish we could put a cap on how many candidates can run at one time. It is ridiculous, these people know they don’t have a chance in hell, but yet are put in the race by someone, wish I could follow that trail.
Youngkin has attended Davos multiple times as co-CEO of Carlyle. Easy to find videos of his interviews even from 2020.
He also moderated a panel at the 2017 Export / Import Bank meeting. Terry McAuliffe was on the panel and Glenn had some very nice things to say about Terry and his policies as governor.

Thanks for the confirmation. I quit looking once I saw him on the CFR list. I am convinced he is a set up, but like I say, it is what it is. The really disheartening thing is to go and be around these people and know they are nothing more than actors w/an agenda. He came across as so sincere, but the walls were there. He owns a 9mm to “protect his family”. Now if I was a multi-millionaire and was pro-gun, I think I would own more than a 9 mm. But that is just me. Then he made a comment, paraphrasing, ‘why do I need a gun when I will have security around me?’
Oh, and his church, he attends a SJW style church, very much like Rev. Wright and barry. I did watch that video. A friend of mine that is enthralled w/Youngkin, hoping for some of his cash, told me that ALL churches have become like that. *Spit* I got to two churches and SJW/BLM NEVER is preached.
Unfortunately, as a fellow life long Virginian, he will be the lesser of two evils when running against McAuliffe. As you know, because of Northern Virginia, it is hard for a true conservative to win a statewide election in Virginia today. Youngkin is a Mark Warner republican. Smart businessperson that got into politics after building a successful business with ties to big business on both sides. When Warner ran, he had a coalition called “Republicans for Warner”. Promised to not be Harry Reid’s lackey and vote for everything the Dems wanted. Once he got into office, Warner is one of the worst of the worst. Truly lied to Republican leaning voters to get elected. Since I can’t stand Clinton bag man McAuliffe, I will vote for Youngkin and hope for the best.
Youngkin, if sincere as in wanting it badly, is the only one that can beat McAwful, simply because of the money. He has a dedicated staff of Millennials that are goo-goo over him. I have to say Youngkin went into some of the most remote places, sometimes there was more staff than people out to see him, and he didn’t seem to mind. Never once did I sense he felt like he had wasted his time, like I have seen other candidates project. Other places he went were packed to the brim. I near about gagged when Ted Cruz went stumping for him. UGH. Since Youngkin is a member of the Club, it is hard to say who the Club will let win between the two. Warner is such a slime-ball, just a gross, nasty, man.
Something I learned a couple years back, some gas stations you can still use the pumps even if the convenience store is closed. I had no idea, I always thought if the inside is closed, the outside is closed too.
Later at night the gas lines go down, tonight a station not far from me had gas and only two cars were there pumping gas, earlier in the day there had been lines. Fuel up at night and avoid the panicked anxiety ridden hysterical folks. I live in a rural area and that always makes a difference one way or the other.
Glenn Youngkin has a chance if he highlights how Virginia DOE has this new VMPI initiative to ban advanced math with no honors classes and putting all ability levels in the same classes thru 10th grade. Those Northern Virginia voters will care about this if it gets explained right.
$2.69/gal at the Seneca Nation station in WNY.
Gas price? Around $3.00 GA. Governor Kemp it is said to have issue orders preventing price gouging and increase tanker road weigh limits.
I’m trying to figure out how to use this “gas buddy” app/web page to locate fuel for a pending trip: https://www.gasbuddy.com/home
Or, to paraphrase the CapitolOne ad, “What’s not in your wallet anymore?”
2.95 in central Maine
Earlier this week regular unleaded was $3.09 in Northern Westchester County, NY. Prices have been rising since January. I would estimate a 20% increase BEFORE the pipeline issue.
Youngkin is a snake.
“I knew you were a snake when I let you in.” SMH
Yesterday morning, in Charlottesville, I filled up at a Mobil for $2.95/gal. Along with the BP station across the street, this same station was ribboned off with no gas by afternoon. Six months ago, gas was $2.02/gal.
Amanda and Maeve were the only clear choice for me. Happy with AG.
Not sure why Maeve got in the race except to serve as a splitter. Who pays a $14,000 filing fee to the RPV when they have zero name recognition and absolutely no chance of winning? Who paid for her and what was their objective.
Here in western NC I don’t know the price of gas because the last time I was out driving, there wasn’t any gas outside of my now dwindling tank.
Same here in central NC.
I was an undergrad intern for the Bob McDonnell Campaign in 2009. That gave me false hope with Virginia’s electorate.
I’d love to move back to Virginia one day, but not now.
I heard this candidate for Governor on the radio. Smart, from private sector.
More importantly, he was making a case for himself, Lt Governor and State Attorney General.
You need all three now and there is no law enforcement without the proper AG.
I think we will see a lot of this going forward.
Two words: Carlyle Group. I’m not encouraged.
Unaffected by the pipeline hose job.
Western WI, regular unleaded, over the course of 3 weeks from 2.74 to 2.94.
This is the normal seasonal “bend over because summer” hose job.
$2.69 East Texas
If it’s up to almost $7 in Virginia that is almost where the Obammunist used to want it (he wanted $8).
Probably with inflation he now wants it at $20.
Susan Rice probably has her orders on the topic.
All stations in northern Michigan (Traverse City area) were selling at $2.99 for regular unleaded a couple of days ago.
Living here in Northern VA and being a Delegate who voted, I researched all the candidates deeply. This is the first I’ve heard that DJT endorsed Youngkin. Actually, Ted Cruz did.
DJT endorsed after Youngkin won the nomination.
The king maker continues
$2.98 western mass
$2.69-$2.99 for 87
$3.14-$3.49 for 93
In North Mississippi
Over $1 increase since occupant dementia/President * was installed
I would suggest that it was our own government who hacked the Colonial Pipeline to divert our attention from all the other cascading disasters of the Biden mis-administration.
My first thought.
And then we have to pretend there are no manual overrides. ???
Yes and you are also supposed to pretend that the imposter in the White House got 10+ million more black votes than barack hussein O.
While it would not surprise me if the perps were operatives for the globalists causing more suffering in red states to precondition us for future impositions, we should not discount the possibility that the perps are indeed criminals. I would say “let’s wait on the evidence” but we have no investigatory institutions that are both competent and trustworthy.
The globalists have turned what used to be our country into a happy hunting for foreign predators. We spend more than a half-trillion dollars every year ostensibly for defense of our people, yet it is all falling apart. Our ruling elites are neither elite nor are they ours any longer. They have no legitimacy left.
…happy hunting GROUND …
“let’s wait on the evidence” but we have no investigatory institutions that are both competent and trustworthy.”
The crux of the matter, right there.
Thanks.
I have no, zip nada, nyet, rien, etc. confidence in any function of the federal government. I do not trust them to do anything on behalf of We the People, only on behalf of their paymasters. They need to go. All. Of. Them. I know I am not the only one who has lost confidence in the government. Consent withdrawn.
Absolutely!!!
Research Spain
My thoughts too. Or one of their “green” terror groups on behalf of a uni-party request.
A source said that the mechanicals of everything was fine.
The problem was that the bookkeeping software/programs were down, so they couldn’t keep track of who got what and couldn’t charge people for their gas, so they just stopped deliveries
and faux bidden didnt win so The Diamonds MUST Be Returned!
I absolutely agree….
