Major League Baseball (MLB) has announced they will not hold the All Star game in Georgia due to the recently passed law ensuring voting integrity.
If we are to follow the progression of this continuum, we will see further division of our nation based on leftist politics. Eventually you get to a situation where the Red State -vs- Blue State issues (Red Region/Blue Region) will break down into liberty and freedom zones (red), and totalitarian control or communal zones (blue).
Exactly as we have been predicting for over a decade.

I’m 70 years old. I played ball and coached up to age 50, still have baseball cards from 59,60.61.62. Since ebay i collect usa ball gloves and have about 50 in my collection, It is all distasteful now.
I had looked forward to baseball. They didn’t have all the kneeling at the anthem, the painted Black Lives Matter on the field (court), the players and coaches blasting President Trump in the media. Now they go and do this. I also wrote a similar letter. But I let them know they are racist for thinking “people of color” are so inferior that they can’t figure out how to get ID.
The problem is, the majority of Atlanta is black. And thus, I am assuming, black businesses will be “punished” from economical potentials the ALL Star Game might have provided them.
After 14 months of Covid closures, I am sure more than a few minority small businesses were looking forward to the tourism this brings, and the spotlight on Atlanta.
Once again, the rich and entitled have spit on the forgotten ones.

Pleased with their decision for 100% capacity seating, I literally was just about to order Opening Day tix for the Texas Rangers. I watched not a single at bat last year because of the anthem kneeling. I’ve been a Rangers fan since the Senators moved here in 1073. Saw David Clyde’s debut and George Brett’s last game. By agreeing to moving the Allstar game, they’ve lost me for the season. Possibly forever. Just me. Everybody else can make up their own mind, but I’ll be damned if I will vote to subsidize the bastards ever again.

I am only about two hours away in Longview. I didn’t watch any of last year’s games but was interested in seeing the new stadium. I have been a Rangers fan for the time they have been in Arlington as well. All the wokeness is putting me to sleep. I have better things to do with my time and MONEY.

Dump MLB and watch college baseball. It may seem ironic but supporting a college team does not mean you support the loonies in the social sciences or the big time sports on campus. Generally smaller crowds and not much money for
scholarships or the programs.

Until now I did not realize that requiring a voter id was racist. Assuming that black folks are genetically incapable of acquiring an id I plan to offer my services to my black Representative Gwen Moore to assist her in getting an id the next time she is in town. I will also offer the same services to the Milwaukee Brewers to assist the black players in their organization. Someone should also look after Stacy Abrams, Susan Rice, the Obama’s, Oprah, and many others. We have to right this systemic racism, and do so with as much publicity as possible.
