A follower of Louis Farrakhan named Noah Green attacked the White House and Capitol Complex earlier today killing one police officer and wounding another. The suspect rammed his vehicle into a police barricade before exiting the vehicle with a knife and being shot by responding officers.
Had this been a white male suspect the manipulative narrative about the need for capitol hill security would have been the preferred narrative of the media. At 5 PM the broadcasters used the word “knife”, so the news team was aware an edged weapon had been involved by then.
There is no way on Earth a news team with access to CBS News’ resources was not aware of the machete by the time they went on air. I can only assume, based not only on long experience with this particular news team but also the fact it withheld photos of the killer (but not the victim) during this very broadcast, that this was an intentional obfuscation of the method of attack, and this was done because that method strongly indicates a specific motive.

My limited knowledge of the Nation of Islam is that it seems to be more of a cult than an Islamic faith. Even Malcom-X was disillusioned by Elijah Mohammad (founder) after he went on pilgrimage to Mecca. He found that he was being taught many lies.
If you read the heavy.com post you can see some of the attackers FB posts and woah! He believes Farrahkan is Christ! The mother wheel is another Farrakhan invention. If that is what the Nation of Islam believes then it’s more cult than anything else.
