I’m just gonna come out and say it. If president Trump doesn’t start a third party he’s no better than controlled opposition. I love him. I hope he does start a third party and lead us. It is the only way. But if he insists on staying with backstabbing traitors who are going to spend the next 4 years harassing his supporters and pursuing them as domestic terrorists then I’m done with him.
I will always believe Trump was the best president we have had in my lifetime. What he did for our economy and what he has done for our pride in this country is nothing short of amazing. Yes, this would be ideal, but it will never happen. Any change in term limits would have to be voted on by Congress.. can you imagine them limiting their time in office? They are quick to vote for raises and other perks for themselves, but they will never vote for this.
Likely the only way to get term and income limits wiould be thru a Convention of the States, a/k/a a new Constitutional Convention. Even then, highly unlikely as a super-majority of states has to vote to approve such changes.

Term limiting bureaucrats isn’t the hour. Those jobs are supposed to be held by subject matter experts. The reason they’re held by people like Antony Fauci MD is that they’re nearly impossible to fire so if you want a government pension and can get yourself hired and you never quit, you will eventually finish a career and get that pension.
The answer is to make it much easier to fire Civil Service employees. Eliminate federal unions and most of the civil service restrictions on firing. The way ‘firing too many civil service employees’ is controlled is at the ballot box when we vote for president and vice-president.

Term limits are the wrong answer. Stripping Washington of half to two thirds of the Cabinet departments and many functions of some others is the answer. Federal money sent in vast quantities to states that do ‘X’ according to federal rules? No — no more of that. Let the states do it as their citizens want it done — and let them use their own money.
Neither can be done in the current state of things. However we are less than ten years from economic collapse. On one side or the other of collapse, there will be a civil war and Washington DC will be largely depopulated. We must not let it get going again. Regulations without people to enforce them will not matter.

But the $18,000/day per Congressman is rational — it’s what every large company decides to do with that amount of money instead of developing a new product, building a more efficient new factory, etc.
The federal government does far too much. The result is not just that citizens can’t afford to own the Congress we elect. The feds also do lousy work. We need the federal government of 1940 and send the rest back to the states.
We have 1.6 hours/load dishwashers and gasoline cans you can’t pour from because the federal government regulates every bleeping detail according to industry-provided ‘experts.’ Why is that good? How do citizens benefit?
Make Corruption Local Again. Let the states compete to run good governments on a broader scale than they do now. We will not be able to just decide to do this — Congress will do nothing to reduce its worth. We will not at first be able to repeal all the regulations either, but on the other side of the coming collapse we’ll be able to act very effectively against efforts to restaff the federal agencies and if they have no staff the regulations will be toothless.

The problem is that the party organization — Rona whatzername, etc. — decides who is the party-backed candidate. And the party’s donors select the party organization. To be able to flush the brown floaters like McConnell you have to get outside all that.
We are now for the first time in my lifetime positioned to do that. We have a very popular candidate whose values and ideas are widely known, we have great revulsion among the electorate for what the Uniparty just did. A new party would not now be a splinter — able to draw at most 10-20% of the vote, and thus wreck the chances of the party nearest its views. A Patriot Party would be one of the two main parties on the very day that President Trump announced its formation. It would stand a far better chance of winning subsequent elections than the Republicans would, even after whatever reforms we could make against the desires of the donors and party apparatus.
None of this talk of backing anyone makes a bit of sense until all the”election irregularities” get sorted out. Right now we are doing exactly what the left and the establishment Republicans want us to do and that is taking our eye off the ball. I agree Trump is the greatest president to date but I disagree with the third party concept. What is needed is for better candidates and term limits. It looks to me like it will be difficult to ever elect a president because of the election fraud the Supreme Court just legalized but maybe we can elect solid conservative people to Congress to counter the socialist democrats.
If we can get term limits, Convention of States would be the only way, we can get rid of the corruption by special interests that seems to ruin our elected officials. … you’ve put your finger on it! Reading about the Convention of States in the past, my conclusion is that any action from that quarter will be sabotaged like anything we’ve seen before. Some court will rule that ”under the circustances”, a Convention of States (or its resulting effects) is ”unconstitutional”. They’ll rule some made up legal theory that the Convention of States denies citizens, (or even better ”groups or class of citizens”) their constitutional ”rights”. It will be carpet bombed by the federal uniparty, the courts, left wing lobbies, and last but not least the media. I could even draft two or three rulings that would not be far from what courts would come up with. The letter of the law was replaced by creative writing. You take your desired conclusion and work your way backward up the legal reasoning.

I agree with your statement that President Trump owes us NOTHING! In fact, WE owe him…hugely. It was WE the People that failed him and more importantly ourselves, our heritage, and ALL OF THOSE WHO GAVE THEIR ALL to this country, when we did not rise up and take the country back after the fraudulent election steal. The nation should have been locked down by the 70-80 million who voted for him until the criminals in power realized that they would soon starve IF nothing was done. I hate to say it, but it is appearing more and more that no matter what parties are involved, Democrat control of the Media, Big Tech, Education, and the DC Bureaucracy will make it impossible to revive the country spelled out by the Constitution. Red State Secession is probably going to be the ultimate answer. The Dimocrats will NOT give up their hold on power and use any means, and I mean ANY means, to hold on to it. The Majority of the country is Red, except for the cities and coasts. Most of the Blue States are only blue because of the large cities. Breaking away will strip them of their power and and control, and maybe we can return to a sane government for the people again.

I think he is going to campaign hard for candidates he chooses in the midterm. Depending on those results he will make a decision for 2024. Third party won’t work because the uni party controls the money, the data banks, the ground game ,etc. Better to try to get the traitors out that he can and look at it again. I agree with your first paragraph completely. But think about it: beating who we have now, with all his flaws, and the fact that he rarely left his basement and Kamala as his vice was also easy. How do we enlist workers when people now with red caps are threatened!
We need to decentralize the Federal Government. Trump started it with the movement of the Interior Dept to Colorado. 87% of the deep state bureaucrats declined to move, making room for new people. Those who stayed in DC found other jobs, but that would not be so easy if many departments were scattered around the country. This would spread the wealth moneywise and would reduce vulnerabilities. With the advent of technical means of communicating and holding converences, there is no reason preventing the spreading of all Federal functions across the country…except the DC Deep State. This should be a priority of any new government. It would help eliminate a lot of problems.

The fighting in the current uniparty (formerly Republican Party) with the elites of the republican/corporate companies/military complex/establishment elites/globalists is where the fighting is taking place. We, the voters, the deplorable, are fully in support of PDJT. We are Nationalists, MAGA, Popularists, traditionalists. That isn’t support – that is reluctantly doing what he would be required to do. The senate majority leader would not be allowed to publicly not support the GOP nominee. And the way mitch phrased it was essentially saying he would go through the motions of supporting PDJT while undermining him.
