I think the best play for 2022 is to continue going all in for State/County GOP, whatever it takes to keep state houses/senate, Gov Mansion, but federally GOP voters must be prepared to let the whole Caucus wither and die. You might have some faves in the house but the best case scenario for the GOP to be re-born into something reasonable is to see 150-175 House seats lost and 25 Senate seats if it can be managed. Take Mitch’s 40+ consignment down to 39 or less and he’s irrelevant. The Dems are already in a Super Majority with the Communist remnants of the GOP so might as well make it real.

I listened to a long speech Barr gave at Notre Dame that was really excellent, in which he described the dangers the nation was/is facing. One big hurdle to starting a new party is gaining ballot access in every state in time for 2022. Even taking over smaller parties leaves large gaps. For instance, if MAGA-America First candidates ran under both the Constitution and Libertarian party (15 & 35 states respectively with overlap, total 37 ), they wouldn’t at this point in time have ballot access in AL, AK, GA, IL, KY, MA, MD. NH. NJ, OH, RI, TN, VA, and WA.
Some of these states only allow R & D at this time, and every state has their own criteria for getting ballot access. You can bet the R & D parties did everything they could to make it difficult to get on a ballot, and will do anything to stymie such an effort by the MAGA movement. President Trump could wave his magic wand in the Republican primaries in the above states and take out any GOPe candidate.
Then you need an MAGA slate of 435 congressional candidates and 33 or 34 senatorial candidates every 2 years.
That said it still needs to be done. Any Treepers know the rules, especially in the above states, for gaining ballot access?

I don’t buy Miss Lindsey’s shtick. In my my mind his trip to see Trump and his mild rebuke of McConnell is a good cop routine to McConnell’s bad cop, an attempt to sucker Trump into bringing his base back to the swamp. If Trump falls for it, he’s toast and we may be doomed.
