There are talented attorneys who can make legal arguments, citing cases, while still engaging the short-attention span person through an orator’s use of voice and body.
I liked the calm presentation without any oratorical gestures or flourishes. To me the flourishes and drama of great oratory were given through the video clips and that was enough.
The even tone of his presentation helped to emphasize the content without the distraction of delivery style.

I think President Trump must have kicked their asses after the way they screwed up the other day. Whatever he said or did, they are back on track today and doing a fabulous job.
It might be because they were given the job just a few days before the trial began and had to hustle to get up to speed. Maybe the extra couple days made all the difference in their readiness and presentations. Maybe the Trump team helped with the video put together. Whatever the reason, they are 180 degrees better than the other day. Good for them.
They’re bringing it home right on schedule when the impact will be the most devastating. THANK GOD!!!!!!
I think they were criticized so much and that Pres. Trump got on their cases so badly, they recognized they had to up their games.

At first I was angry that his attorneys, at least this last one, keep referring to President Trump as “Mr. Trump,” as if the title of “President” is no longer afforded him, as if is no longer deserving of it, which, of course, both of which we know are not true. All former living Presidents of the United States are addressed with “President _______.”
I decided the use of “Mr.” might be to emphasize the legal argument that the Constitution does not allow a private citizen who formerly occupied the office to be impeached.
No one remembers Johnny Cochran’s “opening” argument in the OJ Simpson case because it was boring, meandering and frankly unimpressive, and at the time, people were wondering if that was all he had….but, whether you liked it or not, they sure remember his closing argument

I watched 10 min – enough to see the videos of Trump’s speech using the word “fight” and the video of all the Dems (special emphasis on Kamala Harris, the puppet who bailed out rioters, who slept her way to the top, who was hated in California by both the incarcerated black people and law enforcement for playing both sides, the woman with a 3% popularity rating who suddenly became VP… etc etc etc) using the words “fight” and “fight like hell” numerous times. I’m glad they had to see their own hypocrisy in living color, not that it matters to them. This is just normal business for Congress. It’s what they did the past 4 years. They just put on unconstitutional show trials to persecute MAGA for no good reason other than their wealth and power (trillions) is at stake. Another thing the Trump lawyers are highlighting: The RINO GOP used the so-called Jan. 6 Capitol speech by Trump to vote to move forward with giving the stolen election to Biden. They stood in the Chamber condemning Trump before they voted.
And it was all pre-planned.
This presentation today just ripped the GOPe talking points right out of the frame. They look as bad as the Socialist Democrat Party does.
Goodness – how long a recess do they need? They said it would resume by 2:10 and it’s already 2:28. Maybe they don’t want to come back out after such a presentation.

He actually says that the President continued to maintain to the crowd he won the election as MIke Pence had gone into hiding, intimating POTUS was putting Pence in danger.

I think the Defense, is doing a good job. But, I still want to see them focus on the election fraud.
Last night, John Solomon told Bannon that he heard the defense might wrap up in 4 hours or less so highly doubtful they are going to get into election fraud. That’s my only criticism with the defense team’s tactics especially since the libtards kept haring on Trump’s “big lie.” If they DO NOTHING to refute it, it looks like they are conceding the point.

I have the same problem. If teh Dems are tying “incitement” to the election fraud charges, and have introduced the whole election fraud idea, why doesn’t the defense say “you brought it up” and they lay out PA, MI, etc.
