Um. The Trump rally attendees had to go through metal detectors and their items are searched. So, how did they have guns at the Capitol??
Capitol Police pushed aside a barricade at one of the small entrances and opened the doors to let MAGA folks in. There was absolutely NO screening by metal detectors, etc. The video I saw taken by a woman showed the entire episode.
She was recording the doors opening, Police standing aside and she proceeded to walk right in and ascend some stairs straight ahead and close to the entrance. This video has been scrubbed from where ever it was originally posted, so I will not look up the link again.

Repeatedly. That is like badmouthing your supervisor around the workplace when that same supervisor is deciding who will be in the next round of layoffs.
Regardless of whether the judge is a corrupt idiot, you don’t badmouth a judge in public (I was a litigator for over forty years, and believe, me, I met some pretty bad judges). The mandamus Sidney filed was another extreme public criticism and very risky. She got lucky with the panel, but the en banc told her she should have at least waited for the hearing to see what Sullivan was actually going to do. All she did was tick off a vain, thin-skinned judge. Trashing the DOJ’s misbehavior was one thing, but night after night on Hannity and Lou Dobbs did not help Flynn’s case one bit. She had good momentum when the missing Brady material started turning up, but lost it when she went after the judge.
