If we’re being consistent then MTG is being treated differently than Swalwell, Omar and Waters. Why? Well it’s very simple: She’s a Republican. I don’t disagree that there should be a standard for committees but it should be a non-partisan standard.
It should be noted that unlike Swalwell, Omar and Waters, MTG did what she did BEFORE being elected. So they’re essentially punishing her and her district in an extraordinary way because she wrote/liked conspiracy nonsense when she was a private citizen. Not a good standard.
