I mean, these things are good to document, but this is pretty par for the course. Not even slightly surprised or alarmed because that was my assumption in general about anyone in those situations. You have, however, proven my assumptions accurate.
Of course they are. In Alabama the NAACP works hand in hand suing the older teachers who refuse to pay teachers union dues on behalf of the ferals or illegals so the teacher will retire. We know of someone who was near the top of one of those agencies who left because of the Obama purge. What’s sad, too, is that we’ve seen the effect trickle down to the military organizations intended for kids/teens. The PC culture in it made me want to barf and with covid everything went on-line and our teen wasn’t getting much out of it so seemed as good a time as any to step away. Any thoughts of a military academy for him seem pointless given the culture we’re seeing, though we know one family who’s son entered with the hope of being able to change the direction they’ve gone.

I believe that vote was to allow the matter to advance out of (the Rules) committee and be taken up on the floor for a vote to strip her of the committee appointments.
There is another vote in progress right now on a Republican motion to adjourn. It is a delaying tactic. The hearing was in the Rules committee, supposedly because it was an urgent matter and could not wait until the Republican members to the Ethics committee could be appointed. Last night, The Republicans named their members for the Ethics committee. This matter could be sent to the Ethics committee for consideration, but Nanzi apparently does not want that. So now we have a motion to adjourn and slow down this train.

To post a picture to the Treehouse, you have to upload it to an image hosting site (I like https://postimages.org/ because you can choose sizing [640×480 is a decent choice] and they don’t delete your photo). You then copy and paste the link that ends in the file type (.jpg, .png, .gif, etc) with a blank line above and below it.

In trying to research the issues between Letitia James and Andrew Cuomo, I came across this interesting story concerning private citizen and reality TV star Donald Trump, from 2019:

JUST hours after Gov. Paterson named Richard Ravitch to be his lieutenant, Donald Trump had a message for the governor: Tell him, “You’re fired.”
In a blistering, two-page “Dear David” letter, Trump blasts Ravitch, the governor’s controversial choice for lieutenant governor, as “extremely weak, ineffective and a poor negotiator.”
“The only thing he’s been good at is getting appointments and convincing the press he’s done a good job when, in fact, if you look at the real numbers and what has happened with the places he left, you would see just the opposite,” the “Apprentice” star wrote.
“His image as a ‘Mr. Fix-It’ is exactly that, an image.”
Trump also warned Paterson that Ravitch, a one-time state official and former MTA head who the governor says will help him prepare for a huge looming budget deficit, would give away the store to New York’s labor unions.
“If you look at Mr. Ravitch’s history with the unions, it will show one thing very clearly: that the unions will love having him at the helm because he will give them whatever they want, even though the deficit of New York has reached catastrophic levels.

But beyond that, I suspect Trump would have been happy enough to see China develop the way it wanted to. Forgive me if this link has already been posted – I looked and didn’t see it…I do not know how accurate it is or how trustworthy Patrick Byrne is but I have to say that it sure seems to match what we were seeing play-out in real time. The whole “rally” on the 6th was just odd, IMHO, and the fact that General Kelly was shut out at every turn means that the President was being kept totally in the dark about everything that was really happening. I don’t know if we’ll ever get the FULL story about why he did/didn’t do certain things from November 3rd on but I do know that the Swamp won this round hands-down and that makes me furious AND breaks my heart because it absolutely should NOT have happened!
Having read all the pieces, one big takeaway is that Trump was COMPLETELY surrounded by Swamp rats in the WH. They would have been constantly battling with him, whispering in his ear, telling him he was wrong, that he can’t do this, he can’t do that, etc. It certainly looks like he had NOBODY close to him that was truly on his side, on the side of the American people. Even when he belatedly tried to bring Flynn & Sydney on board (if Byrne’s account is to be believed), nobody in the WH would do what he asked. They either just outright defied him or slow-walked his directives to the point of uselessness.
He should’ve cleaned out the WH a long, long time ago, but he didn’t. Serious managerial failure.
I agree – not sure if he remained loyal to the wrong people or if he just got worn down from fighting everyone all the time, but once China-flu hit and he was kept locked down in the White House, something changed in his demeanor. Over the summer, when he started holding rallies and speaking publicly again, his energy level and the enthusiasm factor both jumped noticeably. (His Fourth of July speech at Mt. Rushmore was absolutely brilliant and inspiring.)
But when he and his family/close advisers were all infected in September (How DID that happen? Will we ever really know?) and the case count started to climb again, thanks to the phony PCR tests, it was clear that something was going on that was not good! Was he threatened? Was he just tired of all of it? WHO was he listening to that was giving him SO MUCH bad advice? And WHY did he wait so long to speak after the obviously fraudulent election? Maybe he tried to get on-air and the MSM flat out wouldn’t give him the opportunity to speak…I truly think that if he had come out via the Emergency Broadcast System, from the Oval Office, within the first week and said that he was ordering the DHS and the US Military to confiscate all election related materials in the six (or seven? or eight?) disputed states for a full forensic audit, he would be back in the White House right now!
I really want to hear Sundance’s take on all of this…suspecting that he, like many of us, are still trying to process everything that has happened to our country and how quickly all of the wheels have totally come off. I would agree with him that from the outside the Trump Team led by Rudy appeared somewhat disorganized, but the whole mess was so chaotic with 6 states that needed investigations and so little time. With the courts refusing to take the cases, did it really make a difference who the lawyers were?
I was not overly impressed with Sidney Powell either. It was beyond silly, tweeting about releasing the Kracken and the proof she had that was going to be released. Not exactly the way a serious lawyer communicates. If Byrne is to be believed, there was no proof and they hoped to get it by having the military seize the machines. I don’t think Trump made a mistake by not going along with their plan. He may have wanted to, but it was too late the states had certified the election.
To adopt such a plan would be in violation of the constitutional election process. President always faithfully followed The Constitution and did what he thought best for the country.

The ideas and plans presented by Sidney Powell, General Flynn, and Patrick Bryne were completely based in Constitutional law and it sounds like the President was very interested in hearing all about the EO when he met with them just before Christmas. The fact that no one on his own staff had broached the subject with him is inexcusable and should tell us that his closest staff and advisers were utterly corrupt! And when you say that he may have wanted to go along with their ideas but by then the election was certified, that, in and of itself, proves the point that the President was being held in almost complete isolation in the White House from November 3rd onward…
And I am sorry if this upsets some people on here but WHERE in the heck were his kids during this time? I know that they are all far more media savvy than the President and there were many people trying to contact Don Jr with updates and info regarding the information that Sidney Powell and General Flynn had, so WHY didn’t they arrange a meeting early on in the process?!

I added no note, just the zero. Someone will open that immediately-it will take man power to do it. Its all I have left to say to them. That is how the uniparty marginalizes ‘all’ MAGA Representatives that manage to win the primary and then the general election. That assumes that Biden was seated following a legal process. There is a jurisprudence surrounding the concept of “color of law”. This is where an “official” claims to be following the law or procedures while “knowingly” either committing a crime or allowing a crime to occur.
Why wouldn’t Biden be arrested? Isn’t stealing an election illegal? Wouldn’t he be impeached?

There are at least 9 election fraud cases in US Supreme Court, which the illustrious court refused to expediate before Biden was sworn in. Two of the cases already held conferences, & 6 more are scehduled for 2/19. Another one from Wisonsin just arrived from an Appellate Court.

I’ve always thought the PDJT always had plans for other people’s choices that he couldn’t overrule – traitor Pence, for example. Had Pence done the right thing for the country, the election fraud would have been fixed in 6 states & PT would be in his 2nd term. Plan A failed, due to traitor Pence.
Plan B: Pence would betray him & he’d lose, start-up his own media company, flip the house & senate in 22 and election reform would begin (GA legislature is already starting on this), win ’24 (should he choose to run again).
I’m hopeful.
