I’ve been asking myself this question since mid-December 2020 when it became clear the court challenges would go nowhere and that the Republicans in the state legislatures and in the Congress were going to cave:
What could have been done, and what should have been done, by President Trump and his White House staff in the spring, summer, and fall of 2020 to deal proactively with what is now obvious to have been an extensively pre-planned and well organized scheme of massive election fraud?
Lawsuits were filed and courts refused to hear the cases. Martial law was the only option Trump’s team didn’t use.
I was speaking of what Trump should have done before the election, not afterwards.
For example. in June of 2020, could Trump have instructed AG Barr, the DOJ, and the FBI to proactively investigate the highly likely possibility that a criminal conspiracy was then afoot to illegally steal the election?
After issuing the directive, could Trump have assigned members of his own White House staff to closely monitor what AG Barr, the DOJ, and the FBI were doing to proactively investigate the probability that massive fraud was then active?

Pres Trump’s former campaign manager Brad Parscale said he and Jared Kushner wanted to start filing lawsuits ahead of the election, like they did last time, and he got word that they wanted to go a different direction and fired him. Then he had that nervous breakdown. The pre-lawsuits weren’t filed – not on the scale they should have been.
After November 3rd, I began to suspect that something like that was going on with the Parscale story. See my response to Mike above. IMHO, in the late spring of 2020, it was in Trump’s power as president to instruct AG Barr to begin a proactive investigation of what we recognize now was an ongoing conspiracy to commit criminal vote fraud. But he didn’t do that. Why didn’t he do it?

On Wednesday I had a HUGE argument with my dear sister over the events in DC that day.
I love her, but LOST IT when she regurgitated EVERY media talking point in regards to the “Debunking all claims of widespread election fraud”
She never could cite any actual investigative report in regards to the claims, but held her ground, mostly based on the “Orange Man is Bad” codswollop she has totally ingested for four years.
I finally told her THAT is why I APPLAUD the people who briefly took over the Capitol:
I KNOW there was election fraud but don’t know the full extent, or if it actually CHANGED the final outcome (though I strongly suspect that’s the case) BUT I’M MORE PISSED OFF BECAUSE EVERYONE REFUSED TO ACTUALLY INVESTIGATE THE REPORTS OF VOTER AND/OR ELECTION FRAUD.
Like most, my sister doesn’t understand the complete frustration of 75m people who have NOT been heard.

I know exactly how you feel. The only argument-killer that works for me is pointing to Biden’s own words – paraphrased in the sky banner above and saved in the video below. We are faced with a significant proportion of the population that refuses to accept there is an alternative reality to what they have been fed for many years – through schools, universities and MSM.
I can’t play along with the Biden “greatest voter fraud unit” misunderstanding. If you want to lay blame, blame the English language which easily creates ambiguities, e.g. Congress each session produces a ‘Crime Bill.’ It’s not a bill that promotes crime, it’s bill that seeks to stem crime. Or a French teacher is not always French. Does a ‘crisis manager create crises, or does he resolve them? Is a criminal attorney a criminal, or does he defend those who are charged?
In this case, a voter fraud team is not (that we know of) meant to be a team that creates voter fraud.
Following your line of thought, Biden would have said ‘we have put together the most extensive and inclusive crime organization in the history of American politics.’ There’s no possible ambiguity here. He either misspoke or he didn’t? He either suffers from early dementia or he doesn’t?
Perhaps he meant to say anti-fraud, but he needs to be held accountable for that and his other gaffes that can have serious consequences.

I’ve heard a metric ton of condemnation within the institutional church, particularly from priests infuriated by silent (virtually always lefty) bishops. But I would not expect mainstream media to report anything that doesn’t contribute to spreading hatred of Catholics and the Catholic Church—-that would go against the rulebook.
Fake news exists to protect evil, not expose it; exposing evil is merely a tolerated side effect of the principal attack. I told Catholic school authorities FOUR times to call the police — two times because I had direct knowledge of child ‘touching’ and two times because I was being told to vacate the premises for being disruptive.

Actually it would please me no end if some who read it would purchase a copy of Bonhoeffer for themselves, and internalize as much of Bonhoeffer’s thoughts and efforts to resist, both publicly and privately. We are not the first to be standing on such a precipice. These dangers stretch back over millenia.
Bonhoeffer’s The Cost of Discipleship was one of the first books our instructors gave us, have re-read it so many times it’s almost fallen apart. So much insight and full of instructions for those seeking to live the life of a Christian during perilous times.

There is a prophecy about end times and the return of Christ in Daniel. Like all prophesy it is impossible to figure it out exactly and only “The Father knows when the time will come”, but some scholars think we have been playing out the final prophesy since WWI which would be in the timeline you offer .
I have listened to the teachings of numerous Biblical Scholars regarding the prophecies in Daniel and one point that almost all of them have brought up is the importance of the number 70. The prophecies in Daniel refer to 69 of the 70 “ages” being in the past with one remaining, which will be the final age….
Israel was scattered for 2,000 years but the Holocaust led to the recreation of the nation of Israel. And that country celebrated 70 years in May of 2019. So does that mean we are now in the final age and “this generation” will not pass away before the Lord returns?

Was thinking on lots of things last night. Am not up on the details of all the different color revolutions as there have been so many, but my impression is, they don’t work.
For example Egypt, yes, the MB got in power, but for a very short period of time, and it was the backlash from the people that swiftly and fully saw that movement end;
The other one that came to mind was Ukraine, the orange revolution, and how’d that turn out again? Yes, the ‘revolutionaries’ got in power, think it was around 2004, and that too was shown the door by the people, and even now that nation’s government has just indicted the upcoming fake President and his brother and son for crimes against their nation.
Serbia had a bulldozer revolution in the year 2000 or so. Those that came into power really liked to keep the strife between Serbia and its neighbor alive. And we just witnessed a peace accord between the two orchestrated by President Trump and his team.

The timeline of the shooting doesn’t add up. I was up on the scaffolding from around 3:00pm till 4:30pm. The cops above us were masked up and holding gas canisters but they were other wise just chilling. When I got back to the hotel and checked The Gateway Pundent they had a story of the shooting posted around 2:00pm. If the capital had been breached and there was a shooting why wouldn’t the police have immediately cleared the grounds in front of the capital. There definitely wasn’t the vibe that a shooting had taken place in the time I was there. Also no one was entering the building the entire time I was there. When did the shooting actually take place? Where did they enter the Capital building?

The fact is that “term limits” will require a Constitutional Amendment that will require 3/4 consent from the SAME corrupt body that brought us: “we got to pass it to know what’s in it.”

Just a thought: Most Deplorables are law-abiding citizens. I have a hard time believing that it was deplorables who stormed the Capital on Weds. I know there has been a lot of pent up anger about the election fraud and the injustice on the part of the legislature and judicial system in failing to investigate it. However, as a group, MAGA people typically do not resort to lawbreaking and violence.
Personally I suspect professional agitators were involved with the rioting. However, based on what we know so far, Ashli Babbitt appeared to be a MAGA person. I understand Babbitt had served 14 yrs in the Air Force and had done 4 tours in Iraq/Afghanistan.
I am now going to say something that may upset some of you readers; however I am throwing this out there for something to think about as a possibility, albeit perhaps a remote one. Nonetheless, I do think it needs to be explored.
I am a retired VA psychiatrist who worked with hundreds of veterans from the Iraq and Afghan wars.
Unfortunately, blast injuries were a common occurrence during these wars. In my career, I saw multitudes of vets with TBI (Traumatic Brain Injuries). One of the common symptoms of TBI is disinhibition and impulsivity. Since Babbitt served 4 tours, is it possible that she sustained a TBI and had some difficulties with impulsivity, causing her to do something that was not consistent with her MAGA beliefs?
This is not to cast blame; rather this is trying to make some sense out of a turbulent situation. It would be worth knowing whether Babbitt was ever diagnosed with a TBI.

Babbitt’s unlawful act was she climbed through a window over a door. She did not get up there by herself. She may have been asked to go through the window to unlock the door, perhaps to relieve the weight of pushing and shoving.
To imply this act had anything to do with PTSD is absurd. I doubt anyone suffering from this would even attend such an event.

I have a Constitutional question. There were several states that requested a delay for the electoral votes to be certified due to open questions they had about possible fraud in vote counts and ballots.
The Constitution designates the State Legislature as being the final elector designators. The requests for delay was totally ignored and the alternate electors were also ignored. Did the House and Senate take away the Constitutional rights of the State Legislatures?
Is it possible that those same State Legislators sue for decertification?

It’s Republican theater. No element of the state government submitted a different slate of electors, and to but a point on it: the state legislature did not submit a slate of electors. Check your facts. Several States sent a slate of Democrat electors and a slate of alternate GOP electors in case President Trump proved fraud through the courts.
The GOP is not an element of the state government.
The bigger problem is the courts will just refuse to hear it. Texas and I don’t know how many other states sued directly to the supreme court and Roberts bounced it on grounds of “standing.” And that’s what has happened with all the lesser filings that were dismissed on technical grounds rather than merit. I suspect these judges know full well what the merits of the case will say, but regardless want no part of the kind of rioting, looting, burning and killing the Left will engage in if their “democracy is taken away.”

If Biden beat Trump by more than 7 million votes, why does it appear there is a panic to impeach him? Could it be the players know the scale of fraud required to defeat him this time could make him unbeatable the next tine when some swing states under the demands of the citizens reform their voting laws?

My husband and I switched our party affiliation on Thursday. I notified the GOP on Thursday. My monthly support for the GOP is now going to Sidney Powell. I live in California so you can vote for any candidate as an Independent. The only potential issue is the Presidential Primary. If there is a Trump type candidate in a primary, we will just switch back a month before the election. It sends a great message to these RINOS. Puts pressure on them to stop the betrayal of Trump and to not go along with the Biden administration.
I switched mine to “No Affiliation” as Independent isn’t available any more.

In difficult times, I try to figure out God’s plan and why things happen. I’m certainly disappointed in the presidential election.
Now, I’m wondering if God’s plan is His way of keeping Trump safe. Many fine leaders such as JFK or MLKJr, have lost their lives trying to right the wrongs in our country.
