Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression, Acceptance,…the 5 stages of grief we go thru, after experiencing any major loss (not just death).
And, not in any set order, we can bounce from denial, to depression, to bargaining to anger, to acceptance to denial, all in the coarse of a day.
THIS is what WE are ALL experiencing, and its TOUGH.
Worse yet, someone in denial, posts a comment about Italian servers. Someone in ANGER responds to them,…well, ANGRILY.

How do we accept that our vote doesn’t matter, hasn’t mattered for years, and probably never will matter again?
I suppose the same way we eventually accept death.
I think what we have to accept is simply that the system is even more corrupt than we imagined. Its one thing to see it steal money, its another to see it steal elections and execute protesters. President Trump won, he is our president and always will be no matter who sits in those corrupt, rotted buildings in DC.
Let us not forget that the Supreme Court revealed to the entire country that they will grasp any kind of straw in order to avoid hearing any real controversial cases.
I believe this is the first time in our country’s history that the Supreme Court refused to resolve a multistate dispute.
And they told us to shove it when it was a matter of Life and Death to the entire Nation ! That is what I can hardly believe !

Posted this in the open thread, and I’m also posting this here. This video is currently a Drudge Sludge link named “Shock Video”, the implication being that this is the Trump family watching the crowd just before the riots. What it really is, is a video of the Trump family preparing for the Stop the Steal speech well before the “riots”. But for people who don’t understand event production, the title is meant to lead people to believe that they’re waiting for the “riots” to start.
My purpose in posting this is to show that all those rumors of a rift between Trump and Mark Meadows, and that Meadows was betraying Trump, was FAKE NEWS to demoralize Trump supporters. As you can see from the video, nothing could be further from the truth.

The LEO down Texas, Roscoe B. Davis, did an analysis of the shooting. He said that he didn’t think that police officer shot that girl at all. He said if you look closely you will see a handgun and an arm that is wearing a suit with a shirt that has French cuffs and congressional cufflinks of some kind. He says the way the person was standing was definitely a rookie and not a seasoned cop. His assessment was that it was probably someone in Congress who panicked and shot and now they’re covering it up by trying to blame a LEO

Other personal experiences: when I first got there was a fat guy screaming at us that were away from the steps to get on the steps. Don’t know if he eventually got on the steps himself but he certainly wanted us up there. Later, on the other side of the building, a young guy that I strongly suspect was antifa was screaming in the faces of some Trump supporters for not wanting to confront the police. He said, “My war is with them.” “They’re my enemy… ” Don’t get me wrong, there were a lot of us Trump fans not too happy about getting teargassed just for watching what was going on, but this kid seemed way over the top.

When the people in the rally arrived in the Capital – all of Congress went and hid in the cellar. There was no spray paint, no frozen water bottles, bricks, molotov cocktails, mask covered faces, etc. I was thinking that it is kind of depressing that not a single representative went out to address the people, to check it out. At least none have come forward if they did. There are many x-military folks in Congress – did they really all go and hide like grade schoolers? Perhaps if a group had gone out and addressed the people coming into the Capital, “we hear you and feel your frustration, we are going to try to give you a voice today, please leave the building so we can get back to work”, perhaps some who were just along for the ride would have left. Perhaps those left behind would have been the outliers and more manageable for security. Perhaps, perhaps not. But to have none even make an effort to understand why they were in DC and in the building – very distressing.

I was at the rally and Vernon Jordan, man who spoke at Trump rally and switched party’s that AM to become a Republican Congressperson, had the strength and good character to walk out the front steps of the Capital and down past those assembled there. I actually walked over to him and thanked him for supporting President Trump and we even shook hands! He told me thank you and to stay safe! This was minutes before I felt the vibe that it was time to leave. So to answer your question, I did see one congressperson check out the situation live and on the ground.
Trump has been poorly advised throughout his presidency. He accomplished amazing things but he also shot himself in the foot with some of his hires.
He lacked the courage to fire ppl at will and it was to his detriment.
While Democrats rolled out the mail ballots, Republicans continued with their knitting. Trump let it happen.
If there is a next time, I will only support him if he fires the entire federal workforce (and I use workforce lightly). He must campaign on moving whole departments out of DC.

I saw something really odd . There were bunches of people who appeared to be Maga getting on the metro at about 8;30 am . We were puzzled they were going in a different direction . They said they were going to the Capitol.
It was very early . Why were so many allowed to go there so early ? Trump was speaking at the Ellipse . It seems to me that crowds were being split up . I think that was on purpose to provide cover for the troublemakers .
POTUS has had the Italian/Roman information since Christmas and it increases the complexity of the situation, because Italy is a NATO member and ally and because the satellites are actually leased to the Vatican.
