This is hard for me to think, to say, to conclude, but I know I can’t be the only one here thinking it
It’s been noted by many people already and I think, if memory serves, it was noted by Sundance when BLM and Antifa rampaged through our cities. They wanted to show us their power, what they were willing to do, how far they would go, to win. They were warning us. Mostly, they were WARNING ELECTED OFFICIAL on all levels, but in particular, state and local levels.
It’s been asked the last few weeks why it is that so many GOP state legislators and officials in the contested states didn’t do what the law allowed them to do. One response which I am sure is true of some is that they didn’t like Trump.
However, many of these people knew/know that their constituents loved Trump and voted for Trump. So why would THESE GOP officials not do their duty?
The answer is that they were and are afraid. They knew that doxing would be the least of their problems. Being called a racist was also not the primary concern.
Black- masked marauders would likely visit their homes, their children’s schools, their offices, etc. Cars on fire, neighborhoods on fire THEIR homes on fire, once something thought to be unthinkable, was no longer unthinkable.
They caved to fear, most of them. That is why they didn’t do the right thing.
WE didn’t meet the people in the streets because we too were probably afraid, but also because we are law-abiding and also because we didn’t want to believe this would be the way our representatives would be manipulated.
I knew better, though. I thought long and hard about how each decade certain facets of society have caved, and done so quickly, without a fight, to extortion. Think of the success of Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Benjamin Crump (who gets on the show of a man who says he’s good friends with him, Sean Hannity, IQ 103), et al, the gun control extortionists, etc.
Politicians AND the American public succumbed w/out a fight against those marauders, who were like the Mechanical Dog in Bradbury’s “Fahrenheit,” tracking people who had violated society’s laws, cornering them in dark alleys while the television camera followed the stalking in the night and transmitted the horrific pictures of the man, his back pressed against the blank wall as the Dog’s jaws opened, and the picture faded to black with the sounds of screaming….
That’s where we are. The tv cameras stayed trained on the marauding to set up just what happened—make sure, legislators and city and state officials, that you don’t make us sent that Dog after you.
You don’t think they’re simply going to stop using that tactic, do you? It worked. It worked to perfection.
It’s working in our kid’s schools where teachers are told to tell kids who are white that their privilege doesn’t even allow them to argue a point.
It’s working in businesses across the nation where employees bite their tongues over everything.
When the institutions of law enforcement are not used as someone is beating you, you have to fight back.

I have loved this community ever since my husband and I found out about it in 2016. We came here to read and learn about issues of then-candidate Trump. We always found the right kind of information and analysis here.
We cheered when our candidate won in 2016 and pulled off a miracle by defeating the Crooked One, but I always sort of knew deep in my heart that ours was a temporary reprieve of what was coming sooner or later.
We had recognized by the way things were back in 2016 and all throughout the O years, and even during the W years, and heck, even back during the Bill’s years, that America would not be able to weather much longer the increasing and relentless assault on the Constitution and we remain unharmed. We had seen how the powerful and well connected people could thumb their noses at the Rule of Law and get away with it.
We saw how the idea and prudent concept of “small government” died more and more with every occupant of the Oval Office. There were all kinds of programs, wars, new government agencies and so on and so forth created and implemented that slowly by surely impacted We the People’s income and private life. We had been even then on the slippery slope. And when O’s terms were concluded we hoped and prayed for a way to slow the decline.
I have always said, and continue to say, that the Lord showed We the People a great deal of mercy when He allowed us to have President Trump for four years. The alternative was the Crooked One and she was poised and set to get us into another war at the very least. I remember thanking the Lord so much for the grace He showed us to let us have President Trump.
But His ways are not our ways and His thoughts not like ours either. The Lord has seen fit to not give us POTUS Trump for another term. I confess that I feel very sad. At times, I have felt so much fear, fear I had never felt before. During these last several weeks after the steal, starting with election night, my sleep was disrupted with frequent episodes of waking up and feeling a bit of despair at the thought of our Constitutional Republic ending up like Venezuela upon losing the Senate. My fears and worries and heaviness of concerned did not lift even when I prayed and prayed. I felt no peace.
As I see things, our Constitution lies on the ground ripped to pieces, shredded. Dead! From now on I think that any and all grievances We may bring to our government for any form of redress under the provision of our Constitution won’t give us any resolution. It has been happening that our Judicial branch of government has become a tyrant and the members of that club are for the most part appointed for life.
So, last night while in bed and talking, my husband tried to comfort me in my sadness and fear. He shared how he is not that concerned and that he looks at the current situation differently. He said he looks at the situation sort of like king David did. Specifically, the time after he sinned with Bathsheba and the baby that was born out of the affair died. Hubby said that David prayed and fasted and sought the Lord to spare the baby’s life. But when the baby died, David got up from praying and bathed and ate. When asked why the sudden and clear change in attitude, David’s reply was that since the baby had died there was nothing he could do to bring him back, and that his hope and certainty was that he would eventually see his baby, but that at the present, the baby would not return to him. David had hope. He took God’s answer to his earnest prayer and fasting and accepted it and went on with life. The Lord had said “No” to his petition. David chose to go on.
Millions of believers had been praying for this country and for our great president for some time and had asked God for mercy, for another term, for the preservation of our Constitutional Republic, that ultimately was a prayer for what is right, for law and order, for justice, for fairness and for the preservation of life, including the unborn. I prayed as well in my daily/almost daily time with the Lord, but the Lord has answered. The historic electoral victory our POTUS Trump was headed to win for We the People would be denied. Its historic significance and magnitude would be recorded in history as the most massive election fraud/steal ever to be seen in America. Our victory was not to be. Not at this time at least. And there is no crystal ball that can tell us if we are going to have another opportunity to revive and resurrect the Constitution.
But like David, We the People have to go on with life. Those among us who believe in Jesus Christ as God and Savior do have a reason to hope. After all, it is He who is in control. We must go on trusting Him and His promises. He is our only real hope.
Sure! things do NOT look good for the country going forward. All the promises that POTUS Trump delivered on will be reversed any way they can or repealed or replaced with whatever they want. What is coming is a time that truly will test us all in so many ways. I hope with all my heart that I am wrong. I want to be wrong for the sake of my son and his future, for the sake of my family, for the sake of may fellow believers and fellow citizens. But with God’s answer being “no” I expect things to unravel under the weight of the evil arrayed against all that has made this country a blessed place to live in.
We have ceased being the founded United States of America and have become some other America. Long, long time ago John Adams wrote that our Constitution was not meant for a people who had no morals and didn’t believe in the Almighty, or words to that effect. So I don’t expect the Constitution to offer us any protection or way to alleviate the challenges coming. The ideals that founded this country can’t survive if people reject the One who gave us freedom and showed the way to walk in the light. If we don’t return, if we don’t favor what is right and live in accordance to that conviction, we won’t find our way back to God. This country was founded for the glory of God and His Gospel. I know many of my fellow Treepers don’t hold to my convictions, but I’m sure that the logic and sense of this does not escape their notice if they favor freedom and liberty at all, and they appreciate the Constitution.
My closing thoughts are, to return to God. He is gracious and merciful and will receive us back if we return to Him. Let us live true to the principles of respecting life and liberty to build a sustainable type of happiness, one that doesn’t give into to indulgences of the wrong kind, but let us indulge our appetites with all things wholesome and right and life-promoting. Well said. Unfortunately the uniparty is after us and they are now figuring out how to destroy us. Look what is happening on Twitter. Conservatives are being silenced. They are looking to shut down outlets like OANN. Look at the article in the Wall Street journal about how they are going to go after “domestic terrorists”. They are not talking about BLM or ANTIFA.

A new party that is truly conservative would also be environmental. It’s mostly hunters and fishermen that pay the license fees that support wildlife. It’s conservative that donate to real charities. Veteran patriots and hard working law abiding people would be the core. It could work but only if a new face has the bully pulpit. Trump behind the scenes pulling the strings with the democrats and media never knowing what he is up to.
Here is a very simple test of the Republican party. Contact all your local groups and ask them why they have links to big tech companies that hate and want to destroy Republicans. Tell them they are supporting communists and digging their own graves while big tech stands over them with a shotgun.

The GOP will never take a stand, especially if they interpret the stand as ‘maybe’ not in line w/ Constitutional Law or some years long set of norms. Lincoln suspended Habeas Corpus, Japanese American’s were interned, The Patriot Act flouts Constitutional norms every second, the list goes on. However events in life don’t always line up with a clear constitutional definition. If events did always line up we wouldn’t need the courts per se.
As such, VP Pence should have simply said based on the unprecedented nature of the fraud accusations, sworn testimony and states altering election law without the consent of the governed I am throwing out these set of state electoral votes and will let the powers that be sort it out and lets see if the Constitutional framework can resolve this mess. In fact that would have been the safest and most Constitutionally sensitive thing to do. VP Pence could have made sure that the Compact of the States, our voting rights and our Constitutional process of election determination would possibly had a much better chance of survival. Yet he simply did what the GOP always does, hide behind the cloak of being a Constitutional savior and yet he is facilitating its demise.

The domestic terrorism legislation Biden is talking about will be used to ban dissent and religion.
These fools don’t know when you suppress dissent it goes underground and you can’t track it any longer. It metastasizes in the dark and spreads like wildfire. It may be they are doing us a favor.
In addition to taking back the institutions, we need to make alliances with like minded people. A lot of people from all backgrounds, including low information Democrats and Libertarians, are suspicious of government power, want big tech reigned in, want policies that increase wages for working folks (we need to persuade Libertarians on that), and the borders closed. President Trump’s policies appeal to a broad swath of Americans. That’s one reason the establishment feared him so much. The GOP positions on cutting taxes and cutting entitlement programs seem to me to be limiting our ability to expand the MAGA coalition. No, I don’t want higher taxes for middle class people (I do for the ultra wealthy and especially for these tax free foundations Soros and Gates use to pursue their political agendas), and I’m not a fan of social programs, but the GOP needs to get its priorities straight.

It is becoming more difficult by the day to access the conservative voice on the internet. The social media platforms are in full lock down lock out mode and they won’t stop until they’ve censored every last one of us. The socialist democrats are trying to make sure President Trump is not only out of office but silenced and inaccessible. They took our freedom of speech away, they took our right to a free and fair vote away. Next they are coming for our guns and for our religious beliefs. This is war, it may have foreign influence but right now, to us, it is domestic. We need some leaders to step up and people need to start organizing their underground resistance.
