Senator Josh Hawley said that 74 million Americans (I think more) are not going to sit down and shut up. May it be true.
And he should have added, “And until there is total transparency, we here, all of us on the Hill, are suspect.”
Certification of the voting machines means nothing. It’s like a safety inspection on your car. It only means that it could work well if used correctly. There should be no way the software could be changed after it leaves the factory. The only thing that the machines need to do is to count spots at assigned locations on the ballot. They need to do no more than the old mechanical voting machines, where you made your selections with little levers and the counters were updated when you opened the curtains.
There should be no need to “adjudicate” a ballot. If you vote in person and the machine rejects your ballot they can give it back to fix or void and get a replacement. It should be know that if you vote by mail you assume the risk that your ballot might be rejected.
Krebs is shameful. How dishonest can people be?

Hacked Texas-based IT infrastructure provider SolarWinds was warned over weak password security last year, after security researcher Vinoth Kumar discovered that the company used “solarwinds123” to protect their update server.
“This could have been done by any attacker, easily,” said Kumar, according to Reuters.
On Monday, SolarWinds confirmed that their flagship network management software, Orion, was the target of an international cyberespionage operation which the Washington Post pinned on government-backed Russian hackers – who inserted malicious code into Orion software updates and pushed it out to almost 18,000 customers.
The malicious updates – sent between March and June, when America was hunkering down to weather the first wave of coronavirus infections – was “perfect timing for a perfect storm,” said Kim Peretti, who co-chairs Atlanta-based law firm Alston & Bird’s cybersecurity preparedness and response team.
Assessing the damage would be difficult, she said.
“We may not know the true impact for many months, if not more – if not ever,” she said. -Reuters

It is so absurd to believe, after seeing all those Trump rallies with thousands showing up to each one, the spontaneous boat rallies and 30 mile long vehicle rallies for Trump that Trump lost the 2020 election.
The prevalent belief – not even just on the left! – is that a core of very dedicated people were showing up for Trump, but more people showed up against him. They explain the surging Rs as lifelong Republicans showing up to vote but being so upset with Trump being mean they switched the top vote. They explain the Biden-only ballots as politically disengaged people who are voting because they think it will help their friends who’ve been hurt by Bad Orange Man. They swallow the swath of trends and election history being broken because it’s a banner year for unprecedented things.
They are willing to believe the explanations offered for the discrepancies – the single-party dumps were when ballots were loaded one party at a time, the ‘glitches’ we saw when votes went down were just normal system traffic, the unobserved counters were the model of integrity and did exactly the right things even without anyone watching, and the election laws being subverted by sec’ state or random clerks were okay because it was ‘justified’ thanks to Corona.
These are the folks that we MUST convince of the fraud. When they ask for evidence, show them the Michigan report. Show them the filings of affidavits with specific laws violated. Show them the credentialed experts who are called in to speak on these things. But remember that there are plenty of bad actors, or even misdirected good ones, who will float bum conspiracy theories – and when those are shot down, it harms the genuine claims of fraud.
And they rode to the polls on unicorns-what nonsense.
