The Texas case was thrown out because Texas didn’t have standing. There are other cases still pending.
Where in the other cases lower courts have restricted the introduction/discovery of evidence.
It gets to the SC where they get to say, “we can’t hear evidence here, that has to be done in a lower court.”
And the SC just punted the case where the Constitution REQUIRES that court to be THE COURT OF JURISDICTION.

Looks like Lin Wood has his Ga case on the SC docket. This apparently was a long shot that would have taken out all 4-5 states and one fell swoop. Didn’t happen that way. Basically the Supreme Court told everyone to deal with it at the state level. The Republicans in every state thought that they wouldn’t have to do anything but vote. Surprise! This is an old problem. If you read the Founding fathers, many of them were worried about power corrupting officials, about the courts taking on powers not given to them by the Constitution, by Washington taking powers that were delegated to the states and the people.
Maybe we are having this crisis so we will be motivated to return to Constitutional principles. We know that simple electing Republicans is a losing game, so our best option is either a complete takeover of the Republican Party or the creation of a new Party.

I agree with SCOTUS here. There was no standing. This was not a job for SCOTUS. This is a job for the state legislatures. The legislatures have plenary power to appoint electors. They could take back the power if they wanted to. If the PaGaMiWi legislatures had any problem with those electors going to Biden, they could easily remedy it. So far they have not. So, it is safe to assume they are comfortable with a President Biden. If they are fine with it, who is Texas to object? If you are in PaGaMiWi BANG on your state legislatures to do their duty. This TX case was always a false dues ex machina.

SCOTUS actually has no Constitutional authority to deny a case between states. The Constitution makes it clear they are to settle it. Yes, the state legislatures are to handle election law, but the Texas suit was about the states violating the Constitution and thereby violating the rights of the voters of not just Texas, but of every state.
There was no difference between the States. The PaGaMiWi legislatures were fine with Biden getting their electors. End of story. Texas has no say in the matter. If I have Justice Thomas on my side, I’m pretty sure I’m right.

You are misreading the order. Alito and Thomas would grant the motion to permit the filing (because their original jurisdiction is not discretionary), but then they would have denied any relief. Even Alito and Thomas agreed that Texas has no interest in the way the PaGaMiWi legislatures allocated their electors.
So Texas can generate 50 million votes for the next Presidential candidate of their choosing and just tell the other states to screw off. I think I get your position now..
And Texas can split into 5 separate states because their legislature allows it to generate 8 extra Senators. No standing for SCOTUS there.

My understanding was TX objected to the elections that were run fraudulently in those states, and that they effected the legal votes in Texas where their election was run legally. I think Texas felt there could not be a legal national election if some states had fraudulent elections that decided the outcome and nullified the legal votes in states that ran their elections correctly and legally.
Makes a lot of sense to me that in a national election all legal votes can be affected by the illegal votes and the fair outcomes of said election. That is standing for every legitimate voter in this country in my book. Apparently, the highest legal minds in the country don’t agree we all have standing based on one vote for each of us and that fraudulently run elections change that right. They did not even want to hear the evidence the plaintiffs would bring.

So, all three Trump Scotus appointees let us down. Just as I said, Thomas and Alito would have heard the case.
All I can say is that when a city like Detroit or Chicago always engages in fraud so that they can out vote the rest of their states because crooked judges will not allow votes to be thrown out it’s the same as when states allow fraud and their state Supreme Court, a political body, won’t allow evidence of the fraud to be heard because the federal SCOTUS won’t hear the case: “no standing.”

First, the problem is language. We persist in terming our opponents “liberals” and “Democrats,” when actually what we are dealing with is hardcore communists. And I say that as a former “Scoop” Jackson Democrat. I remember the onset of the communist-fueled “sexual revolution.” I recall how the communists captured the Democrat Party at the national level in 1972. I remember the party’s activities during the Vietnam War. I recall the intensification of the culture war under the Clintons. Calling a commie a commie brands you a far-right nut, but that’s only because the commies control the press and social media too, as well as virtually every institution in America. While we were busy defeating the USSR, the USSR was busy moving here.
Second, the problem is a misunderstanding of history. This just didn’t happen with Obama. Obama was the terminal phase. Actually, America has been the frog in the simmering pot since the Soviet revolution, when President Wilson sent U.S. soldiers to try to help roll it back, unsuccessfully. A historical perspective would look at WWII, for example, differently. We say it was the “Good War,” but that dismisses some of the pernicious results of the USA having to ally itself with the USSR — i.e., embracing one form of socialism to defeat a competing form of socialism. The resulting optics were that communism must not be so bad if America could find a way to fight side by side with it. Not true, of course, yet we were so asleep at the switch that the chief advisor to FDR, Harry Hopkins, who lived in the White House throughout the war, would not be recognized as a Soviet plant for decades. Moreover, although we fried the Rosenbergs for their treason, we let dozens if not hundreds more spies slip away. We haven’t taken treason seriously since.
Third, the problem is a failure to recognize how fantastic the violation of our core values of liberty has been with vast, expansive seizure of our God-given rights. And the commies have been totally focused right from the start, persecuting churches and families and keeping infanticide factories wide open. Yet the Founders bequeathed to us all of the tools we would ever need to preserve our Republic. But we have chosen to let nearly everything slip away. Without a fight. It is as if the Bill of Rights has no place in our collective consciousness. Madison and Jefferson, Washington and John Adams, Sam Adams and Joseph Warren, and all the rest of those heroes are rolling in their graves. If one generation is 35 years, we managed to discard our legacy in just seven.
Fourth, and final, the problem is that we forget that our rights are inalienable. Our civilization has not advanced so much that we are “past all that” stuff about rebellion. What the Founders faced in 1775 is real to us today. The governors established “a detestable & insupportable tyranny.” When protests are ignored or protestors arrested and jailed by compliant police, who happily violate their oaths of office to hold onto their worthless jobs, you understand what the Founders were thinking. You understand why they acted. You recognize how they came to a call to arms. In our more modern terms, we are looking at Pinochet’s “Allende solution.” The Declaration of Independence asserts that the people have a right to revolt against an oppressive government.
The President has NOT used the full powers of his office to restrain the illegal and, from Day One, unconstitutional measures imposed upon us by our state and local governments.
