I know for certain that Grace Community Church defied state and/or city orders to follow the commands of the Lord in meeting regularly for fellowship. Last I heard the church was growing by large numbers due to their stand against tyranny, and I believe regular attendance each Sunday is over 5,000 people.
Pastor John MacArthur (distant relative of General MacArthur) will be there on Sunday — or he’ll be in jail. This 80 something year old pastor says either way, he’s good.

I am in LA. I skimmed through Comrade Mayor Garcetti’s latest order. It’s shot through with holes. The good news is, homeless people are exempt. The bad news is, I just paid the first installment of this year’s LA County Property Taxes. To pay for homeless people.
This is the worst part…that the largely unenforceable law is chock full of loopholes such as “I’m on my way to the grocery store/doctor/etc” which just increases public cynicism in the institutions. What they’ll do is find one person to make an example out of them – arrest some mom trying to let her kids play with other kids at the park for example – then broadcast it all over the news and radio for 3 days about what an “outrage” it is. What will MOST people do in response to that? Fight City Hall? Hell no. They’ll stay home because they don’t want to be humiliated on TV or go through the hassle of being arrested for something they know is a stupid scam.

Had a group over for Thanksgiving dinner. I was afraid my order wasn’t going to arrive, but it did! Right at dessert time the delivery driver handed me my package … multiple copies of the pocket Constitution.
I immediately opened the package and handed them out to ALL saying that I was concerned that their rights are being abridged without them even knowing what they were to begin with. The nieces and nephews (mid-30’s) laughed and said it was the most Jaxnix thing ever done. They did however thumb through the pamphlet with some concentration. Copies also went to all the children, brothers, sisters etc. Those not there that day will be receiving a copy at Christmas. They are commenting that they are reading and they have shared and told their friends as well.

Last night, I was in Whole Foods in dc. No mask as usual. The employees hassled me. A black police officer came and put me in very tight cuffs. I’m black. I’ve seen blacks show more regard for murderers in their own community than they did for me while I was handcuffed wrongly.
Today, I ordered my food online. No tip. Cases of water. If these cashiers want to play dictator for $15/hr, I’ll do my best to put them out of work.
The left has given power to low level employees to play god over employees. People are going to get hurt really badly over these masks.

In my seventh decade, I wonder more and more whether I will need to make a Life or Death decision concerning my freedom. Will the bureaucrat, the officer, the soldier really put his life on the line to enforce an unconstitutional ukase to bring me to slavery?
I was not arrested. I wouldn’t even say humiliated. I’m black as I said. All year, we’ve been harangued about BLM. I’ve seen blacks break people free from police. I’ve seen blacks immediately start filming police when someone is being arrested.
None of that happened with me. The black store workers aided the black cop. I have always had a strong disdain for blacks. Though I used to respect the police in their job dealing with blacks.
Blacks and many cops are aligned with their dependence on the govt. I have seen no cops resisting these efforts.
Look at all the sheriffs preventing the opening of a bar in nyc. Did even one resist?

If you look behind a lot of these incidents that have become public because the police are enforcing these rules against citizens, you find the police are there because they received hundreds of calls from people reporting the non-compliant behavior. Ask the manager at your local grocery store how many women call the store each day to report some employee for not where their mask correctly, being too close, etc. etc. etc. You will not believe the answer!
Our local ski resort was literally harassed into closing last year, not by the police but by busybody women harassing everyone by phone and in person. My daughter works at the resort and based on what I hear, I would guess the resort will be closed by mid-January of 2021 for the same reason.
These people appear to believe that if you are not doing what the government tells you then you are actually killing them.
Many of the police do not want to enforce this stuff but they have to do something to make the calls stop. In other words, the real problem here is the neighbors that are spying on you so they can report you. If I recall one of the hosts on the view admitted that she and her husband drove around and looked for people to report.
I think this behavior is a new feature of life in America. I also think it is a product of our culture becoming highly feminized but that is admittedly only an opinion. Personally, I am afraid to write how I would like to see it stopped.
Frankly, I am guessing this is not going to go away because it gives the government power…. a lot of power.
Well I will tell you Mr Dragon,we and the wife were in our local winco[groc store] past Sat. We both had a mask on ,I wear mine below my nose. We only wear them out of respect for the employees,as we know and talk to all of them and have been told by such they can not force us to do it. Well we are in the produce section and this busy body older lady about 20feet from us says to me.you need to put your mask over your nose and I say madam mind your own business and never presume you have the right to tell someone else what to do,and then politely gave her the three finger salute.

I live 60 miles east of LA just south of the I-10 corridor. So far law enforcement has not enforced the big reset authoritarian dictates. Thankfully our Sherriff in San Bernardino is a conservative.
