We have a rather unique situation here… The digital U-Haul is loaded after our eviction from WordPress/Automattic for violations of community ‘wrong think’ and questioning narratives against the interests of Big Tech. After a decade on the platform we are sweeping up the porch and saying farewell to the WordPress community.
The CTH family is disappointed at the business position of Automattic, but we are also excited about the new home we have created. CTH 2.0 is going to be awesome, liberating and even better. We are so blessed and fortunate beyond my wildest imaginings.
Right now we are patching the holes in the walls and running the vacuum while our long-time friends stop by to express their anger about our eviction. Simultaneously, those who moved away to the big city are coming back to visit and express their support.
I cannot go into details, mostly because I haven’t yet decided whether to accept a proposal for a grand exit – or stick to our customary & understated simple wave farewell, but the big city folks want to use this eviction as a warning of sorts.
Apparently, the youthful rebellious spirit within those who sold-out to mega-media conglomerates and bright lights has been triggered. A spirit we at CTH retain.
Out there in the land of the MSM right now there is a group of ‘journalists’ ideologically reminiscing for a time when the counter-culture was fighting for the truth; damn the consequences and without care for wounded feelings, delicate sensibilities or financial livelihoods. They reflect on a spirit we have retained and protected within our CTH community. A spirit we will never stop safe-guarding from enticement and compromise.
We are rag-tag misfits, we are proud of it, and -if needed- we clean up well.
We are a crew more comfy eating pizza from box on a tailgate than trying to fit in with a new media outlook of highfalutin’ big technocrats. We are, quite simply, the rebel alliance.

In my case, it was ironically, through Twitter. I became a follower of The Last Refuge (@TheLastRefuge2) and discovered the CTH community. I signed up and the rest is history.
What was it that brought you here?…
I most certainly felt your (Sundance) genuine love for country and the respect you afford your members are genuine.
And why did you stick around with this group through whatever endeavors you found of value?
The amount and quality of the information I learned specially about the treasonous coup, would not have been possible had it not been through your great analysis of the events that transpired and continue to unfold to this day. You certainly connected the dots for me in a way that even I could understand, and I’m grateful.

I found the article linked by IOtWR in 2015. I used a different handle at the time.
I intuitively knew something was rotten with the Democrats and Republicans in DC, but I just couldn’t put my finger on it. The article on the splitter strategy was an eye opener. Everything following has been mind blowing.

I was deplatformed (permabanned) by your mods just before New Years 2020 for criticizing a Post where you criticized SoS Pompeo as Deep State without facts, just associations.
So unless your new platform is more open and honest, as you espouse but did not honor in fact, I don’t care. Burned once, shame on me. Twice, shame on you. Ball is in your court.

I too was permanently banned, for calling someone an idiot. Don’t remember all the details, but some of it was daring to criticize the president. All politicians need to be held accountable, even our most beloved president Trump. My frustration with not firing Wray/Haspel, not declassifying the info ect, boils over on occasion, and he made a dreadful mistake in getting the Covid shutdown ball rolling, and I made my opinion known about it. I left for six months from this site over it. Nobody’s fault but mine. I apologize for being offensive.
I do want to thank Sundance though, for all the tireless work he has put into researching and fighting for what’s right and the things we hold dear in our country. You are truly a great man and Patriot. The comments section does give us laymen a place to voice our opinion, have spirited debate, and believe and pray for our nation. My Dad is the one that told me about your site. As far as explaining what really goes on behind the scene, your website is second to none. Other conservative sites with much more, end up doing less. I sincerely appreciate all you have done.
I do feel I was wrongly banned permanently. The post I responded to was filled with curse words and ridicule for anyone not conforming to a certain point of view (honestly, the same sort of thing big tech and word press is doing to you, banning you for your point of view). That needs to be addressed in the new site. I’m only stating this, because you asked. I believe all posts need to bee free of curse words and vulgarity, but not censored because we differ in opinion, which is what happened to me.
My advice, would be to stay who you are, and be true to your roots. A section that allows easier linking to other stories would be nice, but stay simple and honest. Don’t sell your soul to anybody. I have learned a lot from your website, and am grateful to the Lord for it. At the end of the day, we are all on the same team.

I came to visit after seeing you referenced by someone else on Facebook probably in mid-2017. I was impressed with your documentation. I stayed because you gave me an education in economics and trade and because I like your documentation and how you relate various actions that occur at any given point in time. I also have gotten a great education from some of those who comment. I come here first thing in the morning to get the news – I’m appreciative of the links so many of the commenters post. I read the comments last thing before I go to sleep because the prayers and other posts are calming.
I have stayed mostly because I have learned I can trust you. I still question everything, even you, but you have earned my trust. Thank you Sundance for your hard work, your encouragement, your love of this country.
I found this site from Sandy Rios in the Morning on American Family Radio (7AM CST). She would reference Sundance all the time. I also found it after the Ferguson/Michael Brown false narrative of hands up don’t shoot.

It was 2015. Being a Trump supporter I felt the need to find like minds. Doing searches it was the Andrew Breitbart logo that caught my attention. From the first read I took a branch and here I sit.
What was it that brought you here?…
The constant negativity of the media and the fact that a witch could not sit in the White House.
And why did you stick around with this group through whatever endeavors you found of value?
I’m glad I did. I find more informative news here than anywhere else. Contrary to the left’s beliefs this is a very sophisticated group of people. From Sundance’s dissections to the Treeper’s comments and links there is no News outlet that can compare.
I came here looking for the truth, and I found it. Needed honest comments, and I found them. I will stay as long as these values remain true, and will not waver. Thanks Sundance for all you have done, are doing, and will do. God Bless you and America, among the last bright stars in world freedom.

After the 2nd or 3rd time I did. For the first six months I was pessimistic about the Trump raw-raw. (was a ignorant Ted C. fan).
I spent months reading the content and verifying the information.
I became a monster fan because the info was dead accurate and Trump swayed me with his tenacity and speeches. With few exceptions every other source of information is dead to me. I live here on my branch and have turned only a select few on to this site as well. They’ve become die-hard fans too.
I remember seeing continued references to The Conservative Tree House on other sites as I read the comment sections. After several references I had to visit and see for myself. Don’t remember what year it was, long while back. This is the place I trust for insight, I spend most of my online time here. I think my friends believe I have a Tree House obsession. Its not an obsession…it’s a quest for truth and knowledge, a quest for fellowship with brethren, with other patriots. The Tree House stand heads and shoulders above any other conservative site.
In my opinion – Sundance is worthy of the Presidential Medal of Freedom for his body of work here. And I’d be remiss if I didn’t say that the rest of the Tree House Team deserve much credit too.

I don’t comment so I’m a member only in that I read here several times a day, every day, for many years, and it is both concerning through what is revealed to be beneath what the public is told to believe about our country and it is also bolstering that the truth can still be told. Though I don’t watch television news, or any television, I’m shocked every day by what I learn viewers are being told or having withheld from them.
I’ve been reading daily since the Zimmerman case, which I found shocking in its aggression toward an ordinary person but I don’t recall how I discovered CTH in the midst of that. CTH feels like living history, the viewpoints that are only safe to be revealed many years in the future, if ever. I also love how fervently commenters espouse their nobler feelings and convictions, including religious convictions.
I come from a background where my father was active in the Communist party in Russia/Poland and was sent to Siberia for being on the wrong side of the politics. When he was very old and nearer death, he said with resignation, “We were wrong.”
I forget how I came across Sundance, but I think it was sometime in the Obama 2nd term. I loved the content and reading the comments. I love this discussions that take place in the comments. It opens a good dialogue and different ways to think about issues.
I get most of my information from Sundance’s articles, they are well put together and resourced (much like a “term paper” should be).
The truth has no agenda, that’s what I want and I believe that’s what the people here want. Good, bad or indifferent to our “favorite” public figures, just the truth.
Meant to be that I landed here. I believe initially in Travon Martin days. Besides listening to Rush, I’ve never felt more comforted knowing there’s more of us like minded individuals than them. With Rush, he was communicating through radio what I saw, felt and believed for almost 30 years now. With CTH, Sundance communicating through his research, posts & incredible commenting format. Both have a deep connection and understanding with respect to their communities, followers, faith, this great country and its founding and history. Both are irreplaceable in my life. I came for the fights. People on the same side, with mostly identical sets of facts, forming conclusions that are entirely different, help in shaping thoughts; especially now when we know some of the “facts” were outright lies. The fights reveal a process that sharpens, then tempers, including the necessary quenching. It’s exactly what I was looking for.

I don’t recall how (or why) I was first drawn to conservativetreehouse.com, but I’ve been visiting the website several times each day for more than three years. I have come to rely upon sundance’s posts and research as the best source of trustworthy information available. I choose not to comment, but I read most of the comments and regard them as good indicators of where real patriotic Americans stand on important issues.
I was here for the Treyvon Martin affair, might have been here before that, but Treyvon is the first I recall.
I stayed because of the excellent crowdsourcing, and ever insightful analysis from Sundance.
As the Trump era ensued, this was the only place that offered accurate political news and analysis, and the wide variety of poster backgrounds gives many topics some specialized knowledge.
A bonus is seeing the same people posting over the years offering a continuity of insights. Knowing a poster allows context to be added to the actual post, is the poster an optimist, a pessimist, idealist, pragmatist, etc. Nothing wrong with any of the attributes, but definitely adds to a post to know the posting background. Plus, many seem like old friends by now.
I found CTH in the spring of 2012 during the media storm following Trayvon Martin’s death. Sundance was the ONLY website doing real analysis of the facts, not trying to push any type of agenda. As an analyst myself, I know the most important question is Why? I was taught to go Five levels deep.

Q: Why Y…and so on to five deep.

I quietly observe, for the very most part. But, discovering the treehouse was like finding family I didn’t know I had. I thank you all.
I was given directions to the Tree House at a meeting for Trump supporters back in 2016. I searched the next day and have read here daily ever since. In fact it is often all I check for ‘news’. Best place to find a dose of reality.
I can’t remember how I found this website, but one thing for sure it happened in 2016 during the candidacy of then, Donald J. Trump and I finally chose him as my candidate after analyzing all the 3 candidates on my list. Probably, one the commenters in one of the website that I frequented mentioned Sundance, “TheTreehouse…”
To answer the 2nd question: What makes this website standout is the fact that Sundance write topics in details and in simple terms that anyone who has a mind and not necessarily a genius will understand. I will highlight for example an article about that so called, “Paris Treaty.” After reading that, any sane Americans will never accept that “treaty” at all. I remember a video of Megyn Kelly who was interviewing Pres. Putin at that time and was asking him about that “treaty” and Pres. Putin answered, “do you really understand what that treaty means to your country?” At that time, M. Kelly was still hostile to Pres. Trump. Pres. Putin’s answer made me chuckle because I already read Sundance’s article explaining what it would to out beloved country when I watched this video.
To the 3rd question: the answer is TRUTH and be EDUCATED of what is really going on and the shenanigans happening in this country.
And if I may add, even the article of how how our food chain operate from farms all the way to our tables was to me—stunning!–plus coupled with pictures! I could not ask for more.

I found CTH after reading a story on RCP written by someone at American Thinker. After reading AT regularly, one of their contributors cited CTH and I started reading CTH everyday. I found the depth of research and clarity at CTH to be better than anyone else. Thanks for a great website.

1 and 2- I first heard of the Treehouse when you were evicted from somewhere and briefly blew through Lucianne’s site. People there were asking “who are these new faces?” and Lucianne, or one of her editors, said it was the treehouse crew looking for a new home. When you came here I checked in, and have been here ever since.
3 – I stuck around here because of the quality and depth of the research, the generally civilized tone in the comments ( we may not always agree with one another, but we are usually polite about our disagreements), the level of expertise in the comments that clearly gets picked up in Sundance’s articles as well, and the fearlessness with which truth is pursued, consequences be damned.
3a- I also stuck around for a place to toss my two cents into the ether while lazily letting Sundance do all the heavy lifting and riding his audience. I know. But that’s how it is.
Trump Landslide 2020
Well my story is interesting, about 10 years ago Sundance was having a war of words with a blogger who I believe was named Doug.
At the time Doug took pleasure in the difficulties Sundance was having keeping CTH afloat.
I lurked around Doug’s blog for a short time (he/she was very mean spirited concerning other bloggers) and certainly being a cop I had enough negativity so I looked up CTH.
I was so thrilled with CTH’S content and Menagerie’s holiday recipes and spirituality I knew I finally found my home.
Been here for a decade some of the time lurking and commenting more and more.
Love our Treepers, every one of us are so different and interesting.
So that’s my story and I’m sticking to it. ??♀️

I wandered the Internet for many a year before finding this site, only because a cousin of mine recommended it to a brother who passed it along to me (just ahead of the 2018 election). Once here I’ve never left, not for a second. I probably spend far too much time here, checking numerous times a day for new articles and updated comments. I’m of a situation where I live in a blue family, in a county that is in a blue state (of late), and outside a very small circle of friends I have nothing to cling to for hope. CTH gives me that, hope. And great research and analysis of issues from the conservative side of the argument. CTH also gives me the family I should have had! (lol).

In 2016 I googled why 16 Republican candidates and directed to CTH. One click and learned about the splitter strategy and it finally made sense. I was hooked and became a daily reader.
I stay because of Sundance pearls however recently SD faith in truth will somehow prevail though evidence shows otherwise.
SD value is showing the strings and how we are manipulated.
I was introduced to CTH by a friend of mine. Both of us are conservative activists involved in activities including testifying during legislative sessions, vetting candidates from local to national, speaking to local clubs on legislation, lobbying my national and state Senators and Representatives and educating people in my precinct. CTH is dependable as a truthful resource and is often ahead of the curve and more in depth. While CTH is not the only source I use, it is a favorite because I can count on finding current, well laid out information and “big picture” analysis. I look forward to reading CTH daily. Have stayed because this site is correct far more often than wrong, and because it is pretty much free of the usual self-righteous nearly-always-left-and-completely-wrong anti-Americans so often found on the net.
I started reading CTH due to Dan Bongino through his podcast. At the time, I was listening to Dan in 2017 concerning the coup attempt on President Trump – the first one. Dan would give “hat tips” to various people/sites. CTH was a frequently mentioned, so here I am.

Five or six years ago I read a Fathers Day article written by Menagerie; I was so impressed that I contacted her, She referred me to the Treehouse, and I’ve been here learning and growing ever since. I had always been conservative, but politically ignorant; I was too busy being mom to 5 kids and working, so I always just voted straight republican. When the kenyan started talking about the used car deal, I knew something was wrong, so I began to look for more information. That was about the time I found Sundance and the Treehouse, and I was also retiring. I now had lots of time to spend reading articles and comments, and I spent many hours every day feasting on the information. I was incredibly ignorant and shocked at everything that has been going on in the swamp. I check in here several times a day now and recognize many Treepers by name…and miss some of those names who are no longer here. I am in awe of the knowledge and the energy of Sundance and others who provide us with truth and challenge us to do do our own research. I find hope and comfort here that I miss from my extended family, all of whom are conservative but are anti-Trump. “Mom has too much time on her hands.” God bless our President Trump, God bless Sundance and everyone here, and God bless the United States of America!

Me too. Was part of lucianne b4, and through 2000 election. Blinders re politics came off during that election. Lucianne was first thing I checked everyday. At that time some smart commenters. Found this site through a post there and checked regularly. Gradually read less there and more here. Loved Andrew Breitbart, too. We lost a warrior when he died.

don’t remember how I found the Tree House, but fell in love with the view from up here. This seems to be an outpost of sanity and peace. The one place where the goal is in depth analysis of what is going on rather than how many post can be posted in a day. I want to express my gratitude for publishing my poor effort to stand up for farmers and dairy farmers in particular during this FUBAR of an epidemic, P.S. the food chain is still SNAFU, but improving

CTH is my refuge of sanity in a world where social media has turned everyone into dopamine-addled children. Understated, rarely wrong, information focused, conservative leaning but not lunatic right wing. A great place to hang out and be informed.
I found this place in the Obama years. I was looking for alternative viewpoints that delved deeper into what I thought were nonsensical policies. I stayed when I got that and so much more, including the amazing community of ‘tree pers’.
As far as I’m concerned, WordPress can go to he11.
The Hand of Providence brought us here. Kind words of truth kindled the campfire of our hearts to be warm and enjoy friendship, fine prose and thoughts.

The dim “ray o vac” lightbulb asking you to pull the ladder down and find another tree is going to have the greater loss.

I linked to CTH from an article I was reading elsewhere during the run up to the 2016 election. I appreciated the measured opinions of the CTH crew and the in-depth analysis and links to original sources on issues. I found the community to be mature (in an emotional, not age sense). The commenters tend to follow the “measured” lead. At least until now, the trolls have been few. The community is steadfast and supportive. When one of us starts to lose faith, others gently lift them up. I look forward to CTH 2.0!
I am not sure where I heard of you but when I came here it fit with what I was thinking. I appreciate your analysis Sundance and you make me think about how it all goes together and how they cheat. But I think one of the most attractive things is the expert analysis of the treepers.It makes me have to think hard and I love that.
