You are correct. That’s the history of voting violations. Even when the blacks were being charged a poll tax or required to take a ‘test’ in the southern states, no one election was overturned. They fined the states, fired people and put poll watchers in place so that it would never happen again…but the elections were not overturned.

I hope you are right because you can’t get many of President Trump’s supporters to wear a MAGA cap in public because they are afraid. People on this very site writing they were afraid to put a TRUMP 2020 sign in their yard or a bumper sticker on their car because they feared the response it might get. I sure hope these same people find the backbone to ‘do whatever it takes to stand’ for our President. Things could get rough in the coming days.

I was doing laundry and reading a book I have to review all day and missed everything. I kind of checked out because I’ve been so stressed out by what the President has been going through. I need to catch up.

I’ve been stressed out, too, and have had to take a break now and then. But, I think now is not the time to shut everything out. I think things are starting to happen. So, take short breaks, but check in often. That is what I plan to do.
It’s hard for all of us, but at the very least, spend some of your “break” time praying, meditating, picturing a positive result in your mind. Thoughts and prayers are very powerful, and there’s nothing stressful about praying/meditating on a second term for the man who has done so much to head America back in the right direction.

They’re giving the PA Senate all the ammunition they need to overturn the certification and appoint their own electors.
Personally, I would rather they not open that pandora’s box. IMO, that would just insure that any state election with a democrat legislature would bypass any vote they didn’t like and do the same.
Now, I agree that enough evidence was given to justify it, just that it wouldn’t be a good idea IMO.
Tossing out illegal votes or tossing out the state election and having an honest revote, would get us to the same end point without giving the dems a precedent they would abuse.
My feeling is they should simply decertify the vote. IOW the vote counts, but they don’t allow that vote to be certified. If the same were done in WI, MI and GA, that would throw the election to the House of Representatives since nobody would get 270EV.
I like that idea. Cleanest possible solution. Hope someone in charge is thinking along that line.
They’re politicians. What is the solution that gives them the most political cover? The one that does two things: 1) it wouldn’t necessarily change the outcome – Biden could still win if other states don’t follow suit and 2) kicks the can to the US House of Representatives which allows them to shift some of the accountability.
The Courts will have the same problem: how to un-bake the cake and separate out the rotten eggs. I think Rudy has a good remedy: strip out the illegal votes (those received late and counted without witnesses). But that will be hard to do, especially if PA ignored the Supreme Court and did not segregate the ballots. The Courts will probably not throw out an election, even though they SHOULD throw it out. The narrow ruling would be to block the certification pending a full hearing/investigation which would push the election past the certification date again throwing the election to the House.
The narrow path with the least exposure to elected officials is probably the path they would choose…if they can get the votes.
