Associated Press – In a memo to U.S. attorneys, obtained by The Associated Press, Barr wrote that investigations “may be conducted if there are clear and apparently-credible allegations of irregularities that, if true, could potentially impact the outcome of a federal election in an individual State.”
He said any allegations that would “clearly not impact the outcome of a federal election” should be delayed until after those elections are certified and prosecutors should likely open so-called preliminary inquiries, which would allow investigators and prosecutors to see if there is evidence that would allow them to take further investigative measures.
Barr does not identify any specific instances of purported fraud in the memo.
“While it is imperative that credible allegations be addressed in a timely and effective manner, it is equally imperative that Department personnel exercise appropriate caution and maintain the Department’s absolute commitment to fairness, neutrality and non-partisanship,” Barr wrote.
States have until Dec. 8 to resolve election disputes, including recounts and court contests over the results. Members of the Electoral College meet Dec. 14 to finalize the outcome. (more)

Interesting nominations for positions there. Pretty close to where I would have gone. DJT can appoint ANYONE as “acting” for 210 days, before they have to be confirmed – which means he can play “musical chairs” with these positions (which he seems to do ANYWAYS).
Powell – definitely AG. Probably doesn’t want it as a full time position though. She appears to enjoy her independence.
Grinnell – he did such as masterful job as acting – should have been made perm and left Ratcliff in the house – we need ALL THE ALLIES we can get there. Aside from all the people he pissed off as acting – he could have likely been confirmed.
Flynn – he took one for the team – exposed Comey, Sullivan & the entire corrupt process. It wasn’t politically expedient to pardon before the election. No reason not to end the farce and pardon now. Either way – Flynn gets let off the hook. Flynn would be a great replacement for Haspel – but I’m not sure if that’s where he can do the most good (or damage to our enemies). And personally – I think Flynn “taking the Q warrior oath” harms his credibility. Remember, most of these positions require CONFIRMATION – and it’s highly unlikely he will ever get through a senate confirmation (depending on how the recounts lay out).
It’s a SHAME we couldn’t get Adm. Mike Rogers to take a post in the administration. But Obama was HATING ON HIM for what he already exposed. Had he stayed in any capacity – they would have “Flynned” him. He probably did the smart thing by bailing out of the swamp. He most certainly would have been targeted.
I forsee HUNDREDS OF PARDONS coming down the pike (if not thousands) – if we don’t prevail in the courts. Including DJT pardoning Pence – resigning the day before inauguration and having Pence pardon DJT. I think we’re going to find out that Election fraud through Dominion at the voting location and Hammer/Scorecard during tabulation is the decisive element that stole the election. That was the goal and the method for achieving it.

I think if the IT stuff is true (I just don’t buy it, but let’s pretend I do), they didn’t have enough votes to cover the spread. Vote fraud at the voting booth and at the aggregation points is too easy to spot if the % is too high. That’s why McInerney put it at 3%. That’s the max they think they can fudge and get away with it.
When Trump started pulling away on 11/3 around midnight, they had to go to plan B…and that’s when all those late/illegal votes started showing up and the “updates” were paused to conceal it.
Trump won by a lot, and the resulting effort to overturn it resulted in some big mistakes…biggest of which is that all these “problems” have happened in exactly and only exactly in the states Biden was on the verge of losing. Nowhere else in America did this happen despite widespread use of mail in ballots.
I think VA also fell prey to this, but fewer have questioned it thinking VA is a blue state which voted Biden. But I think VA was also targeted.
I agree with you completely – they thought the 3% flip would do the trick and then had to resort to old fashioned ballot stuffing when it became clear it wasn’t going to be enough. On election night, I distinctly remember Treepers being confused about how well Biden was doing in TX until Trump started to pull away. I did not watch the returns as they came in, but I do remember a lot of consternation about TX. Several TX Treepers had to remind people not to worry about it.

I’m not from the US but I can remember reading about issues like this from the 2016 elections when I was researching into the voting machines. I looked deeper into it because I could not believe these machines were usually privately owned and often with proprietary software. I would have thought they would all be owned and controlled by the states and preferable by the Federal Government. From what I’m reading now, the ownership has consolidated into fewer companies

I think it is possible, don’t get me wrong. I just don’t buy it yet because there’s no actual evidence of it that has emerged. I’ll go all in once I see some data from a valid source that shows vote counts that left a precinct were changed at the aggregation point…and that it was done consistently in Biden’s favor.
To your point about their models, Trump’s team was saying all day on election day that GOP turnout was enormous and had far exceeded even their most optimistic projections. Democrats working off of similar data had to know by mid-late day that the GOP was turning out huge and they would need to find other means.

I saw that too. I wish I had the data and could say 100% for certain that I trust the source. There is a LOT of chaff out there right now and I don’t trust anybody at this point. That being said, I found it really interesting that a different group of people idenfied strange jumps in the data at 5:07am in VA separately from guys who ZeroHedge posted who said there is no reported fraud in VA but their data suggests there WAS.

I think it should be looked at too, but keep in mind that flipping numbers like that would be pretty easy to spot if paper votes were collected at the voting-end. Now somebody could later blame it on a “glitch” and maybe it’s a series of convenient “glitches”, but if those glitches happened all at the same rough time in the same 5 states, that is not a glitch of course.
Seems like a goal would be to keep the % change low so as not to arouse suspicion. Votes are only checked against the data if a candidate requests it (as was the case in that one MI county). So if the numbers aren’t “too” far off, most people’s brains can’t process that small of a difference out of tens/hundreds of thousands of votes cast.

2. PT saw increases in those areas, but he GAINED more from Democrat/Blue areas.
How did Biden gain in red areas?

I don’t think we will find out. If they created ballots or fixed “dirty” ballots and destroyed the ones they replaced, then once those ballots are in the pile, then they are clean. A recount will show very little because they have created “clean” ballots. These people are professionals fraudsters at what they do. And on our side we have Mr Magoo looking into it. Unless there was covert surveillance (which we know there wasn’t), then the only way to expose this is if people flip. And the only thing I can think of that might get people to flip is multi-million$ rewards.

One effect of getting the DOJ involved should be to lift some rather large legal expenses off the Trump campaign. Trump has already said he would make up any shortfall for his campaign out of his own pocket.
I saw a rumor yesterday that the DNC or Biden campaign put the word out that they need attorneys in bulk at ~$1,400 for long hours/week.
I called my local newspaper today and said “suspend my subscription until after the Inauguration.” I about had a stroke (not good when three in my maternal family have died from strokes) when the newspaper main editorial wrote something like “Trump. Concede and Exit.”
Today was just the icing on the cake. The AP, I’ve learned over this last year is a PROPAGANDA machine. All of their COVID writing was pro Fauci, diss HCQ, diss anything that would reflect any objectivity on any topic.Especially on President Trump. And never one time this past year offered a retraction when they got it wrong.

The same guy who worked closely with Lois Lerner on the IRS targeting case, and we know how thoroughly that was investigated. Just maybe the kitchen is getting a little to warm – we can only hope.

Barr’s memo goes against some kind of guidance or tradition within the DOJ. I saw a question going around twit today asking why the DOJ was supposed to wait until 10 days after the election before becoming involved. Apparently that has been the custom. An attorney yesterday said that a civil lawsuit cannot be brought before the votes are certified in the pertinent jurisdiction. The entity bringing suit is asking relief from harm. Until the votes have been certified, the entity has not been harmed.
That is in a civil matter. What Barr is unleashing is pursuit of criminal action(s).
Until a few hours ago, Richard Pilger was the director of the Elections Crime Branch of the Public Integrity Section under the DOJ’s Criminal Division. He edited the 2017 edition of the DOJ’s manual for Federal Prosecution of Elected Offences (aka the rules according to Pilger) which can be found at the bottom of the page at this link:

In his memo, AG Barr tells the US Attorneys and Wray et al that the votes have been cast and waiting any longer could create harm. He overrides the “passive and delayed enforcement approach” and basically tells the involved parties that they are free to bypass Pilger or any guidance to wait.

I think there is no better example of voter fraud (i.e., cheating) than what happen in the Congressional race in VA-7. As a reminder, the incumbent, (D) Abigail Spanberger is former CIA.
The integrity of our voting system is of paramount importance and Wednesday, Nov 4’s catapult from behind victory of Abigail Spanberger is highly suspect. Votes found on thumb drives raises several chain-of-custody issues. The citizens of Virginia demand a fair and transparent election and a manual recount of the vote in VA-7 is paramount for ensuring faith in our election process.
I captured the results @ 0623 on Wednesday morning (Nov 4).
VA-7
R Nick Freitas: 186,143, 53.77%
D Abigail Spanberger: 160,071, 46.23%
This was with 99.57% of the vote counted (Reference: Fox News Election Metrics).
Obviously, there are several issues that demonstrate this is clear fraud. First, although 99.57% of the vote was counted (per election results), somehow VA-7 election officials found an additional 28.4% votes? Up until that point, a total of 346,214 votes were counted (about the same as the 2018 VA-7 race), which represents 99.57% of the total vote. Yet, after that point, another 106,663 votes were ‘found’, or an extra 30%. It seems impossible that election officials missed ~ 30% when they announced 99.57% of the vote as counted. And surprise, surprise 66% of those new found votes went to Spanberger (a 20 pt. bump to how she was performing as of 0623 on Nov 4).
So, we now have 130% of the vote counted. Some may say…this was a historic election and therefore, voter turnout was unusually high, accounting for the extra 30%. Ok, fine – but that extra 30% should have been distributed throughout the Nov 3 tally – not with 99.57% of the vote already counted. And isn’t it interesting that this Wednesday, Nov 4th vote dump was a 20 point swing to Spanberger? They knew exactly the number they needed (miraculously with less than 0.5% of the vote remaining) and it provided her with just the edge required so there is no manual recount. Truly stunning!
Clearly a manual recount of legal votes should occur before declaring a victor in the 2020 VA-7 Congressional race.
Wholeheartedly agree that Virginia had massive fraud–what a morale boost it would be for the MAGA movement! Cannot understand why it is not on the radar.
While it is right to be skeptical of Barr, the DoJ and any other Federal Agency at any time, but especially with what has occurred over the last 100 some years (Woodrow Wilson and his puppeteer Edward House*), the cheating is blatantly obvious and staggering in its scope. This is a BOLO alert to watch for any language by Dems, the press, DoJ, and even ourselves that states or implies that the DoJ investigations or lawsuits must have credible evidence that would effect/change the voting count for an entire state. That is not true.
Federal law as well as Barr’s Memo apply to all federal offices that we vote for. This includes all voting for the President, the US Senate, and the US House of Representatives.
The reason I bring this up is that this brings it down to being able to investigate all 435 districts(and of course all counties,cities, precincts therein). And the importance of that point is that the more you investigate at that level the more chances of finding voting irregularities that may also be in other districts, especially if same voting methods and machines are used in other districts.
Another way of putting it would be, just because you would not change enough votes in California or New York to effect the Presidential election, investigations at the district level could show wide spread voter irregularities/fraud/etc. Those investigations may pick up patterns of same that could lead to statewide patterns to show fraud and help to further investigate entire statewide problems.

No way should vote counting machines should ever be connected to the internet.There certainly should be no way to alter the software remotely. Vote counting machines should run only open source software that can be audited. The programs should be on read only chips soldered to a serial numbered circuit board to make it difficult to alter.

Senior cyber security investigator here in Texas said the CISA still claims that the Texas county vote collection systems do not have internet access, which they ALL demonstrably do have. Useless? Historically – the DOJ was prohibited from investigating elections until after the results were certified. The Senior Voter Fraud Investigator at the DOJ has resigned because he was afraid an investigation could “change the outcome of the election.”
I just read about this resignation elsewhere. First off, it’s not a law that they can’t investigate. Secondly, fraud on this scale has never been seen in a Presidential election, and litigating the winner of the nation’s, and indeed the world’s, top post after the election would spark chaos. Thirdly, the DOJ has been thoroughly compromised over the last decade and they have no business lecturing the people on what is correct procedure in this instance.
If this guy wants to resign, that’s fine. He’s just one citizen out of millions, and possibly a member of that half that doesn’t understand the war we’re in.

Barr isn’t running an investigation. He “allows” people to investigate now. That is not a directed call to action, it is window dressing IMO.
Redstate author and former federal prosecutor, Shipwreckedcrew, has great piece today on this guy and the (his) “procedures.” Pilger is lazy AF and never wanted to investigate anything, yet ALL DoJ election investigations had to be approved by him, hence no investigations. Barr ended that with this memo, authorizing all AUSAs who see cause to investigate, cutting Pilger out, so he quit. That’s good.
Also, SWC notes FBI has likely been in place at some counting facilities since election night, as indicated by an AAG guidance sent to all AUSAs that armed law enforcement can, in fact, be present at counting facilities, as opposed to not allowed at polling places. This guidance had to have been issued in response to an AUSA or FBI getting reports and being requested on site to investigate or observe. Hence, SWC surmises FBI has not been sitting on their hands all this time. That’s good.
Barr can’t preserve institutions if they’re killed off by this banana republic election. Let’s hope.
