Associated Press – In a memo to U.S. attorneys, obtained by The Associated Press, Barr wrote that investigations “may be conducted if there are clear and apparently-credible allegations of irregularities that, if true, could potentially impact the outcome of a federal election in an individual State.”
He said any allegations that would “clearly not impact the outcome of a federal election” should be delayed until after those elections are certified and prosecutors should likely open so-called preliminary inquiries, which would allow investigators and prosecutors to see if there is evidence that would allow them to take further investigative measures.
Barr does not identify any specific instances of purported fraud in the memo.
“While it is imperative that credible allegations be addressed in a timely and effective manner, it is equally imperative that Department personnel exercise appropriate caution and maintain the Department’s absolute commitment to fairness, neutrality and non-partisanship,” Barr wrote.
States have until Dec. 8 to resolve election disputes, including recounts and court contests over the results. Members of the Electoral College meet Dec. 14 to finalize the outcome. (more)

Nice wording. Barr could’ve used the word “honestly” in reference to conducting a federal election a couple of times in his memo but he used “in such a way” instead.
His memo was written ‘in such a way’ as to completely remove the concept of honesty in our elections.
Must be serious, one of his underlings resigned. We should get off of Barrs case, COVID 19 slowed Durham down, and by the time he came back the Dems knew how to go to court and obfuscate Durham long enough to get past the Nov. elections.
What could Barr have done? President Trump got 5 million more votes than Obama, 71 and going on 72 million votes. I mean, Trump won and we all know it, at least 15-20 million of those votes are fraudulent ballots, that’s around 25 percent. There is nothing no one can do if a person is going to commit massive voter fraud like that. Trump won. We all know it, Barr did not harm us at all.

Consider the possibility that the Dems just got set-up big time. I think it’s possible that most of the activities happening from a law enforcement perspective RE: the Barr/Durham investigation being put off past the election, and the Biden laptop October surprise were designed to force the Dems to cheat as hard as possible on election day to get Biden the win at any cost. Simultaneously Trump had his voters flood the polls on election day itself, specifically to obtain the outcome that we have now – a sloppy steal that is easy to prove in court and also prosecute. This whole thing could be a sting op to clean up our elections. In any case it would be a very high MAGA priority for our president to ‘return power to the people’ (his words) in this manner.

Yes, in Pennsylvania, the state secretary and state SC violated federal and state election law when they said they would accept ballots received “AFTER” election day polls close.
Trump’s lead when election polls closed and the results rolled in was 17% and 700,000 vote lead. That is why they had to stop counting. Had they continued, the reporting of precincts would have shown 99% reporting and Trump with an enormous lead and no excuse not to call it for Trump.
So they stopped reporting the count at around 65% of precincts in. And kept claiming millions of votes were out there in Pennsylvania, but that was almost impossible to believe.
How? Every vote should have already been received and put through the tabulator. So what were they waiting on?
They were waiting on 700,000 fake mail in ballots that came in after the polls closed, which is a violation of federal law.
The Supreme Court has been given the lawsuit by the Trump Team today.
Once they either throw out those ballots or force Pennsylvania to verify them, Trump will win.
Trump is only down 40,000 votes and literally hundreds of thousands of fake Biden votes poured in after the polls closed and Pennsylvania illegally counted them and the media accepted it.

If innocent Patriots are ALLEGED to commit a crime against a Dem or deep state operative, then they will be immediately and aggressively prosecuted (e.g. Mike Flynn and Roger Stone). I hope it’s not the case; but, in my opinion, Barr’s memo contains far too many lawyerly weasel words that might potentially serve the purpose of making it appear that the DOJ is doing something about the left’s attempt to steal the election from President Trump without having any interest in actually doing anything.
I’ll continue to put my trust in President Trump’s own legal team to get the job done.

Pilger incident convinces me the push to protect the vote, which supposedly began on inauguration day , was just wishful thinking. Trump’s legal team better watch and parallel track every one of these “investigations” and ensure they are conducted objectively and thoroughly because this could all just be a ruse to say that the Republicans supported Trump to the end and that the fraudulent vote result was credible. And I hope that Trump has devised a system of checks and balances to keep the DOJ honest. Not holding my breath, but it is a sign of hope.
Why do U.S. Attorneys need the AG to “authorize” them to investigate or prosecute federal crimes? That’s their JOB! It’s also the job of their deputies. What about bank robbery or securities fraud… do federal prosecutors need to apply or wait for AG “authorization” to prosecute these and countless other federal crimes? Or is AG “authorization” only required to prosecute election fraud whose motive is to defeat Trump?
Read the memo and you can infer how career DOJ employees were justifying their inaction, as well as their plans to continue that inaction, until after certification.

Investigations into politically sensitive cases usually get a review by the DOJ in DC. Also, there may need to be coordination among US Attorneys.
US Attorneys pick and choose what cases they will pursue. Special Agents of all Federal agencies know what the AUSAs will consider for prosecution. Sometimes there are written guidelines (eg drug amount minimums). Often its a matter of resources versus case load and complexity of cases. So, arrests generally do not happen unless the AUSA has agreed to take the case. If he/she declines, and its a solid case, then the Agents will offer it to the state and locals, providing there is a state violation. If they decline, then that’s it. Of course, each US Attorneys Office is different, and case law also varies among the circuits, making things inconsistent.

The PA late mail in ballot issue is before SCOTUS. PA was supposed to file its brief Saturday afternoon. ACB was referring it to the full court. And no, there is no indication that she will recuse herself.

Ohio filed to join in the suit as well because of the uncertainty created by PA court legislating instead of the PA legislature.

Well, well, well. Some guy on OANN said that SCOTUS would probably only rule on proof of ‘widespread’ voter fraud that would tip the election. 100 or so aafidavits won’t d that IMO. Barr’s use of the word “substantial” put in that context makes sense b/c in typical legal fashion there can be a moving definition of ‘substantial’. So, what if POTUS team produces 1,000 or 5,000. SCOTUS will play games and Barr/Mitch has given them cover.
SCOTUS takes the case quickly. Can’t have a Federal judge somewhere rule there is “substantial” evidence of vote fraud in say Pennsylvania or Michigan or Wisonsin. They will shut it down b/c the more time goes on the more this favors POTUS.

Many of these affidavits involve the process which affected large numbers of ballots (maybe tens if thousands to hundreds of thousands).

When this one is confirmed it will result in a 19,500 vote gain for Trump making the Wisconsin race a total toss-up.
There is now a pattern of events we have uncovered across the country where votes are being taken from Republicans at all levels and transferred to competing Democrats in offsetting amounts. These are not random because in every case votes are moved from Republicans to Democrats.
Then in Pennsylvania a ‘glitch’ was uncovered where nearly 20,000 votes were moved from President Trump to Biden.
When this is confirmed it will result in a 40,000 vote increase for Trump and a 40,000 vote decrease for Biden in Pennsylvania [I think they mean 20,000 and 20,000].
Moving 20,000 from biden to Trump equates to a 40000 increase for Trump
