The stupid idiots think that the census stopped early to not count minorities. They are so ignorant-I worked the census we count people at addresses not people by skin color or area. Everyone had an opportunity to do their census online or by mail.
Only the non-response follow up team counted people at their homes No one decided where census workers were sent except a computer that tracked who answered online or by mail and who didn’t.
You would think we were just out knocking on doors-that was not the case. Its all blather and propaganda to make people think they are somehow being disenfranchised by skin color or immigration status.
The main option became getting a population count, no questions were mandatory and no citizenship questions were asked.
That IMO is a huge mistake. We are giving non-citizens and illegals representation in Congress and federal funding along with every other handout they can possibly get above and beyond.

Actually, I didn’t like Barrett’s response to how senators should decide on a worthy appointee. She took the very modern and ugly choice–judicial philosophy, rather than the previous standards of voting “yes” for those with exceptional academic, legal backgrounds in Constitutional law and of acceptable judicial temperament.
Her answer seems to suggest that if senators on the Judiciary Committee believe in a judicial philosophy of “the Constitution is a living, mutable document” or “the Consitution should be interpreted textually as intended by the Framers and understood in their historical context” that is the proper way to decide whether to vote to confirm or not confirm the nominee.
That is precisely what has led to the circus and highly partisan and political way of finding nominee and confirming them. Yuck.
Exactly. ACB scares me a lot. We will have to wait and see how she rules. I’m hoping she does not pull a Sessions and recuse herself, especially for any election/voting cases that may go before the SCOTUS.

Not only will he not talk about murders by blacks, he will never compare apples to apples on time served for drug crimes. Black serving time for that are often doing so because they have are repeat offenders while whites or others NOT serving were first time offenders.

I’m trying to figure out what Cory Booker was saying about Judge Barrett who has modeled a much more inclusive attitude than any Senator interviewing her. Why do we have so many issues concerning race? Questions like Cory Booker made, including the lie that President Trump has not condemned white supremacy. Obviously, Senator Booker hasn’t followed any statements by the President he has only listened to pundits on his side of the aisle spewing the same style garbage that was spread via WaPo, Yahoo News, Mother Jones, CNN, MSNBC, et al.
The division in the country began more than 10 years ago, amplified with the treatment following the election of President Trump, and the sham impeachment which has been shown to be completely based on false premises. As to voting issues, did I miss Senator Booker’s condemnation of the voter intimidation in Philly in 2008?
