McConnell should not be surprised if he experiences a loss of his Senate race after his recent remarks and his failure to expose the coup attempt. He could very well be complicit by not acting on things that he should have. Same goes for Lindsey Graham.
Whatever the deeply entrenched Deep State tries there will be no stopping digital warriors of today. This is not a submissive electorate. They have a story to tell and it will be told. vikingmom, earlier this year I wrote Senator Cruz about our lawmakers being blackmailed by the Deep State et al. I specifically suggested that he was the best person – despite his past differences with President Trump – to lead an effort for those being blackmailed to publicly come forward, all at the same time, and declare that they were being blackmailed and were no longer going to allow being subjected to this blackmail. No one would be required to say what they were being blackmailed about, but this group would publicly reveal and denounce it hopefully to deflate these threats over them – and the power of the Deep State.

If they all came out and said, “Look, I did some things of which I am not proud but I am done being held hostage by people trying to overthrow our system of government! And if anyone tries to push me like this again, I will name ALL of the people involved in this attempt in a public forum!”

Finally, early in person voting has started in many states. If you are a Senior and live in a state where cold weather can set in fast, vote now so you don’t have to stand outside in the cold for hours. My husband and I are going next week; the weather looks good and we want to get our vote in while we are both feeling OK.

It’s a good idea, but I highly (HIGHLY) doubt the idea that he has 100 million listeners like has been suggested by some media sources and Spotify. That’s almost 1/3 of the citizens in the country. Considering that that’s about half again as many people as voted for Trump in 2016. Joe’s probably got a very big audience, but just like Rush, Hannity and others, there really is no real way that those things are measured. Rush’s claim of 25 million listeners per week means about 5 million a day, because most people listen more than just once a week. But he wants it to sound larger so years ago he started saying 20 million per week even though there was no one able to actually measure the listenership. And the 20 million number is simply a number Rush came up with, it was not from “industry statistics” because there are no statistics that actually measure the number. So, Joe’s show is a great idea, but POTUS needs many shows and many avenues to reach people.
And if PDJT is busy- getting Victor Davis Hanson would be AMAZING with Joe Rogan- simply AMAZING.
I Guess My Point Is Trump Needs To Reach As Many People As Possible Quickly! The Rally’s Are Great But The MSM Has Stymied Trump’s Message To A Broader Audience. Joe Rogan Was Originally Supporting Bernie Sanders This Would Be Great For Trump.
Audience sizes are often VASTLY exaggerated by not taking into account duplication of numbers, podcast “downloads” by the same persons etc. No doubt Rogan has an audience of millions, but when it is reported “100 million downloads” etc. that is not 100 million unique users…. one person may download dozens and dozens of different podcasts. So 5 million unique users or 10 million unique users might be the actual audience. Still highly significant, but nowhere near what is often claimed for impact.
It is said that going on Rogan’s podcast helped Bernie, Andrew Yang, and Tulsi…. yet none of them won the nomination (and only Bernie came within shouting distance), so it’s not as though the impact was so overwhelming as sometimes portrayed.
Rogan has an international following because of the MMA world. A lot of those downloads are overseas/Canada/Mexico etc. Rush has a purely domestic audience for the most part with some listeners in the Anglosphere of Canada/UK/AU.
Until a few months ago, I had never heard of Rogan.
Rogan is a great asset for getting the information out. His audiences like and trust him so they can be expected to share what they’ve learned with friends and family members. So much FUD has been spread that people are looking for trusted sources of information
That seems like a bad idea on the surface, Joe Rogan is not someone I would want to follow to far.
Having said that, what I have observed is the left, particularly older democrats, have no idea there are other sources of information that actually show how the MSM are just lying about….EVERYTHING. It would force them to watch other sources.

You are right about the older Democrats who consider themselves lefties but would never endorse the actions of the current Democrat party if they knew the facts. I think by now these types probably do know they are being misled by the MSM outlets they’ve relied on for news and politics for many years. My hope is they are realizing the deep trouble our country is in and are questioning what they’ve read or been told by the MSM, The MSM has gone so deep into transparent propaganda and disinformation rhetoric that older people who remember the Cold War years will recognize it. Humans have a keen sense of deception but I do worry that the older dyed-in-the-wool Democrats won’t do what they need to do as citizens, which is ask questions and find alternate sources of information.

Couple days ago found that the restaurant in a nearby Marriott claimed to have one. So just learned that one of the early voting locations near us will be….THAT Marriott location (using their unused big events room).

My sister was pregnant with complications in March and had to go into isolation in April for 4 weeks of monitoring (ultimately C-section, baby girl, everyone is fine, thanks for asking). That was a horrible experience for her and her husband, because the hospital locked down everything w/ no visitors but the nurse. Her son could only wave from the parking lot, or do a zoom meeting. What should have been a celebratory event was anything but. It’s hard to measure how much stress that COVID anxiety adds, which really can wear down your system.
I completely understand what families go through regarding hospitals ( and nursing homes) because of the Covid-19 hysteria by the Stalinists.
When I fell and was flown to Tucson, my family could not enter the hospital and no one would tell them anything about my condition.
So they waited in the parking lot for four hours…..I called them when I was released. I can’t fathom what would have happened with information to my family had I been seriously injured and not able to contact them.
And when I was released, I was wheeled out of the hospital, left at the door and told I could stay put to wait for my family or wheel myself to a shaded area to wait.
It is ridiculous!

Two months ago, I had an appointment with my primary for usual annual stuff. As they were directing me through the hoops I had to jump through before I was allowed into the inner sanctum – all of the covid questions – I posed this question to the intake person: “What happens with someone who has specific medical needs that may well include some of these symptoms, but absolutely nothing to do with covid?”
Her response: quick intake of breath and then, after a pause, “That’s a good question.”
Yeah. I guess it is. And this was in AUGUST, four months after all this crap was implemented.
After she steadied herself a bit, she enlarged on her answer, “Well, I guess they would figure out how to handle it.”
One can only hope.
It’s been a long time since we saw and received “best medical care” in this nation. It is so crippled now, I doubt it will ever recover. And for the rest of my life, whenever I have an appropriate opportunity to question a medical doctor, I WILL ASK why on earth they abandoned their patients during the stupid pandemic by acquiescing to the government restrictions which effectively forbade them to treat patients already under their care.

It really comes down to this: Does a good prosecutor take into account that, if he doesn’t hurry, an incoming administration will destroy all his work by dropping all charges that he brings, even though they are some of the most serious charges in the history of the country and, indeed, are vital to the survival of the republic? Or does he see his work as totally independent of electoral politics and reason that if the people elect an administration who wants to let the criminals go free, then this is proper because it is the will of the people?
If the latter is his viewpoint, then how can he not see that the people do not know what the crimes and evidence are and so are voting in ignorance? And how can be be so unjust and un-republican as to think that it is proper for justice to be overruled by the electorate’s vote?
I have to conclude that either Durham is stupid or malicious, or he has been hurrying but the muck is so deep that he cannot bring charges yet because there is so much work to do before he can bring them properly. I don’t know which possibility is the least incredible.

Reporting in re political climate of actual sightings vs fake news:
Drove thru eight interior states in recent days including NY, NJ, PA, MD, WV, VA..
Saw about 50 Trump/Pence 2020 signs alongside major routes ranging from small to tractor trailer size…including several “Farmers for Trump” scattered in fields dotted with hay bales and livestock.
Only one, yes 1, medium sized Biden/Harris sign we saw in our travels.
The areas we passed through of PA & VA sure looked RED to us!!
Oh and for the Trucker Treeper who posted several weeks back about truckers missing seeing kids pump their arms for a horn blow….we tried on and off four times and got one return! He immediately got the thumbs up out the windows ? really funny thing was he had a confederate flag hanging off the back of cab….so the northern reached out to met the southern with no issue of their past.
Disclaimer: one driver had eyes firmly on road, another who looked right back to us seemed very young (didn’t know the signal?) and another was on his phone.

Awesome memory of “honking” truckers. Getting our 2 year old into it. Late to the kid game, we are basically parents at some grand parents age. Did some frozen embryo work. Brother on the way next year. So, he will skip a generation of “everyone gets a trophy” parents. And he will learn (already is) real stuff…….including honking trucks……and real music.
A Trucker Treeper mentioned a few weeks back that truckers hadn’t seen the arm pump/honk response in a long time cause kids today are so buried in phone or laptops and basically not seeing the world around them.

We had similar experience – took us almost 10 years (!) for numero uno and 15 months later number two arrived on my 40th B/Day!!! Never give up.
2 year old already rides tractors, climbs on rocks by the creek (you know, stuff that would have killed us back in the day), would rather be outside than inside and only looks at iPad kid videos when winding down for the day. We are not 20 something parents and don’t really care what people think. Not trying to keep up with anyone. Don’t live in the city and right now waiting for his brother, we live with wife’s parents, sister, and his older cousins. One cousin already has 2 deer using bow this year.
Forgot to mention, he is getting spoiled by all these people, but a good spoiled. Letting him get many experiences and get dirty. We have a farm/acreage in south georgia, but helping in-laws in North Georgia as father in law had triple bypass few months ago. We have a tractor that we are going to get a good garden going next year. Garden also keeps “poppop” going at 80. He gets out every day. Plan is to have rows separated by golf cart wide path so he can easily get into garden.

I don’t subscribe to WSJ… can anyone read the linked article and report to us? Ratcliffe’s tweet calling for “transparency” to “build confidence in the extraordinary work of Intelligence professionals” seems much too cliche at this point….. we need massive transparency, doc releases, and ACTION…. not more opinion pieces and vague cheerleading. Ratcliffe is one of the only people in a position to really rip this thing wide open…. what is he DOING?

WSJ editorial board: “No matter who wins on Nov. 3 this year, Americans need to know the full story of how the last election was poisoned by the Russia collusion dirty trick. Please keep the documents coming for the public to see, and the parties testifying under oath.”
How about we NEED TO KNOW before Nov. 3 (indeed before now, since people are already voting)….. if, heaven forbid, Biden/Harris should win (by hook or crook), the “full story” may be buried and in any case will come too late…..

What drives me nuts about these people is that they’re always punting to someone else. Ratcliffe is a person who can change the whole trajectory, but my guess is that he’s putting the onus on some other government official. Standard operating procedure…talk, delay, and do nothing. We’ve been listening to the same nonsense for 4 years, and nothing has happened.
Now I see! Barr is now admitting nothing from Durham till after the election. Plan is for Biden to win. Then Durham indicates “possible involvement” by the Obama WH but only indicts low-level pawns. Biden then announces that “Because I’m a true patriot, and I’ve lost the faith of many citizens, for the good of the country I am resigning.” And BAM! just like that, Obama’s handpicked successor is in.

Kinda on Trump topic in that I buy things that could be rare in future. Just went to a favorite thrift store. Got full 20 volume set of 1953 Encyclopedia. Before lots of crap. 1,000+ year technology, use reflective light to read, and not subject to censorship……or at least not as bad as the last couple decades. Lots of photos and………science. Only adds about 0.001 percent to my personal non fiction library of a few thousand books. I don’t buy anything current or published in this century really.
A lot of the “regular” buying I’m doing these days is in abnormally large quantities because it is a simple thing for those who hate us to cause interruption to supply chains, and the recovery time can be extensive even if they are stopped.
One of the areas where I am really aware of this issue is the business of over-the-counter pharmaceuticals. Good grief, we have a lot of great stuff available to us for dealing with all manner of physical nuisances. I don’t want to run out of that great stuff and only then discovered the shelves are bare.
