It appears that WordPress continues to work on the site. At the moment, it seems that all posts made since October 2 are missing, and that some of you are having trouble accessing the site at all.
It is possible that Sundance has heard from WordPress. I am sure that he will explain what is happening/will happen as soon as he knows something and is free to make a post.
In the meantime, please do your best, as we are doing!

First time in days that I could log in, so something good is happening. 😉
And the WP tool bar at the very top of the page has returned with the up arrow (“go to top of page”) in the middle and the notifications bell on the right side. This is a good sign.
Today in my email I received: Friday October 2nd – Open Thread but the page is not found and I also received
October 2nd – 2020 Presidential Politics – Trump Administration Day #1352 that page is there and I’ve been going through it. I did also get the normal email of October 5th – 2020 Presidential Politics – Trump Administration Day #1355. The bell is at the top of the page here.

Same!!!! Even my like button works! And the black header is back. My Bell has not worked in about a year, and it still is not working. However, at least posting is back. Small miracles, amwick!
WSB if you are going directly to this web site, rather than logging into Word press first, the bell thing might be a privacy matter that needs you to be Word Press-verified. However, I log in via WP and STILL i can’t like. I could last week, but not this week.
All strange because my bell works on every other WP site. Will check!
My own blog, Stella’s Place, is working fine except for not being able to view Twitter pics and videos.
Things are far from normal at CTH at the moment.

I think you sign up only once for both CTH and Stella’s Place, because we are both WordPress blogs. You should be able to comment on Stella’s Place, but your first comment will be moderated.
stella, so you will know other than not seeing who is doing the liking and a strange few seconds after I post a comment it has been fairly normal on my end….until today it got a bit weird. Same, on Firefox, logged out/in again and now the site looks like it did before the kerfluffle, black header, able to comment & like, and the checkbox options are below the text box as usual. Good news I hope?
I mostly use firefox… and I have admin privileges on a blog.. even written a couple posts.. so I poked and prodded… something about jackbox?? This is encouraging… whatever it was is gone to the background.
Will attempt to post through WP if this one does not appear.

Phone, laptop and tablet stuck on October 2nd. Tried the desk top, the first window kept spinning, tried another window and it opened right away while the first window was still spinning.

If CTH hasn’t been accidentally on purpose shut down by WordPress after the election, Sundance may want to consider moving to a self-hosted version of the site. Surely there’s a conservative-friendly, free-speech-oriented web host out there somewhere.
No other hosting platform comes close to doing what WordPress can do, if one is willing to deal with the normal issues that always come with any platform’s periodic software upgrades. WordPress also has a good reputation for not interfering with blogs that aren’t PC according to the leftist ideologues.

Even though posts after October 2 are (am assuming only temporarily) gone, the notification bell is back though it says “no notifications yet. get active! comment on blogs you follow.” – so looks like a general re-set that was needed in order to get that part working.

No problems logging in, yes I see missing posts, and also have no notifications. The tool bar with the bell is back though. Firefox on computer.

Just logged in via Chrome, with an Android OS, on a tablet.
Restarted the tablet, and cleared the Chrome Browser history, came in here using like from search Conservative Tree House. Clicked on the Last Refuge with the tree link and came here.
Stella, for me everything except this post is wiped out after Presidential Politics open thread on October 2. Also when I click on the Open Thread link for October 2 I get a “Page not found” message. Accessing through Brave browser, Windows 10.
Its only until November 4th….hang in there!
