I think that is unfair to the MontcoGOP, especially the leader. The county is tough due to demographic changes like a lot of areas – started 10 years ago. Pharma industry is headquartered there and all that goes with that territory.

We have some idiotic election rules in PA. Democrats, posing as Republicans by registering as R’s, are flooding the zone as poll workers.
Did you know that if the majority party in your county is Republican, any old Democrat can run for the row office of Majority Inspector – an election supervisory position – and win the position? And vice versa, of course. No potential for fraud under these conditions, right?
I know someone in my area that won the post of minority inspector with just one vote. I mean, a total of one vote. If people are interested, they should run. They may only need to vote for themselves and win the post.
One doesn’t even need to file to run for either of the offices: Majority / Minority Inspector. I think that is also true for the office of Judge of Elections.
If someone, even unbeknownst to you, writes in your name for any of these offices, and that is the only vote cast in said race, voilà, just like in the game of TAG, “you’re it”. So one vote can elect you Majority or Minority Party Inspector, even if you are registered with the opposing Party. What could possibly go wrong on Election Day?

I live in Lackawanna county. Born and raised there and family roots since the 1880s. (It is the NEPA in my name.) It is always one of the key areas in PA, since it is a swing area. The GOP in the state is totally pathetic, but the Trump campaign works nonstop in the area, with Don, jr., Eric, and Ivanka traveling there, and when there were rallies allowed by the Democrat overlords, President Trump as well.
Hillary called it her hometown, and still lost the state. Biden calls it his hometown and now we will see. I don’t think anyone in the area takes it seriously that he is continually running ads as Scranton being his hometown, when he left half a century ago.

I met Scott at the Hershey Rally in December, with his clipboard in hand and a stack of completed voter registration docs. The fellow is tireless, as well as kind and welcoming to everyone as he goes about his mission. He is a real bright spot in the Trump GOP.
This picture presents a great picture but it would be helpful to see the actual statewide numbers.
One major, high-population county like Montgomery or Bucks is equal to eight or nine (or more) of the central or northern counties. Rural PA is not densely populated.
A municipality like Bensalem in Bucks County was for many years the third largest political subdivision in the state, behind only Philadelphia and Pittsburgh.
And that is the issue in PA. State-wide elections are nearly always decided in the ‘ring’ suburban counties surrounding Philadelphia.
Bucks, Montgomery, Delaware and Chester Counties decide that state.
So the treachery coming out of Montgomery County is a huge drain on all the others. It’s a pretty red map, until you figure that out.
Without naming names of any of the counties surrounding Philly, it was in the Philly region where so much of the now proven PA election fraud occurred.
I have asked a number of PA elected officials about how the present occupant of the Governor’s chair is still in his seat, now that we know what we know. The proven election fraud should have invalidated Wolf’s election – since that result was contingent on a statewide vote.
Interesting: If some of the PA election results of the last three cycles were determined to be illegitimate, based on the aforementioned proven election fraud, how many of the sitting General Assembly members would be affected? No wonder they don’t want to question the Gov’s authority. Just as in the D.C. Swamp, there is more than enough dirt on each other to go around in Harrisburg.
A conundrum for sure…. So it’s easy to see why there is so little enthusiasm in PA to do something – anything – about perpetual election fraud.

I believe there are a lot of President Trump supporters who are unhappy about how he’s handling the covid crisis, but they will not withdraw their overall support from him based on that.
OTOH, I believe that if he changed his approach, his support would surge to new highs. Witness the huge numbers last week who protested how governments are forcing the masks, lockdowns, coming vaccines, etc. The huge protests were not in the USA, but I’m sure a lot of Americans sympathize with what they were protesting.

I’ve signed up to be an election judge. Consider signing up in your area. Here in MN I watched in 2008 how a GOP senator (Norm Coleman) who won on Election Day was cheated and had the seat turned over to Senator Grabass Franken. If I am selected as a judge, I will follow the rules to a T – especially on absentee ballots. No signature, no vote. No postmark, no vote. No mercy shown or rule-bending allowed. I live in Ilhan Omar’s district. I saw how Dems did it in 2008: election judges take a lenient approach to counting ballots in liberal urban areas and take a super-stringent approach in rural, conservative areas. Conservatives tend to be by-the-book people, whereas libs tend toward ends-justify-the-means morality. So we’re always at a disadvantage. Time for a by-the-book approach in the city, too.
And if I get chosen as a judge, I will be buying an audio/video recording pen for surreptitious recording. Find out how to become an election judge in your area.

I am an election judge in MN too.
Election judges need to apply to be on the (absentee) ballot board. I did & was turned down. By state law these boards are supposed to consist of election judges equally represented, staff only to assist. Was told when I called the county elections office that they will use staff if needed. MN Voters Alliance has a lawsuit pending on this issue.

Pay very close attention to the last Bill listed, as it is the one with the most potential to establish vaccination mandates for ALL and be expanded far beyond diseae control, without a actually passing a challengeable law.
ALL States and Municipalities WILL require listings of all sorts of things, and deny operating licenses and permits for businesses that do not comply with either the standards or fail to provide the listings. MAGA Rallies (Peaceful Protests) are back.
Not sure if it was fake news or not, but was just reading on a national news website that Nevada’s Governor, Sisolak, just said absolutely No! to President Trump having a rally in Reno or Las Vegas – said because it won’t comply with his 50 people or less mandate that the Governor is ordering both these appearances to be cancelled!
It’s crazy, first this Governor gets a court, the Supreme Court no less!, to approve Church shut downs and now he’s actually telling a sitting President of the United States no – he can’t come to Nevada to campaign for re-election!
Conflicting reports, national news outlet says the Governor’s shutting down any appearance of the President and local news saying the event, at least in Reno, is still on with links on the local news websites for obtaining tickets to the event.
If it’s fake news about the Gov. telling the President he can’t come to the State to campaign for re-election, that’s got to be a new low for dirty tricks. If it’s true – who made this Governor King?

We have signed up for everything to volunteer for POTUS including the victory seminar held by campaign last year and we never get any direction to actually do anything. So frustrating. I knew chaplains from every known established religion, when I was in the service. Also, read the history of military chaplains serving during war time. At the time, they were among the bravest and most compassionate members of the armed services, ranking up there with medical corpsmen. They went into harms way and did their part to help moral as well as aid and comfort wounded service members. They even did their part during combat at times, passing supplies and ammunition.
Military Chaplains are ALL versed in the customs and practices of other religions as their numbers have dwindled over the years to create necessary billets for combat soldiers as congress cut the authorized numbers of military personnel. The Chaplains I knew did a credible job filling in for Chaplains of other religions if the required. So, be careful when criticizing and look skeptically on the character of anybody who want to remove them.

Joe Biden’s former White House stenographer said the vice president’s public speaking ability has deteriorated significantly since leaving office to the point where he’s “not the same Joe Biden.”
“It is a complete difference from what he was in 2017,” Mike McCormick, who worked as a White House stenographer for 15 years and with Biden from 2011 to 2017, told the Washington Free Beacon in an interview. “He’s lost a step and he doesn’t seem to have the same mental acuity as he did four years ago.”
“He doesn’t have the energy, he doesn’t have the pace of his speaking,” McCormick said. “He’s a different guy.”
McCormick said Biden also seems to get “lost” during interviews now, a problem he said seems more pronounced since leaving the White House.
In recent interviews, Biden seems to have been reading directly from a teleprompter when answering questions, including instructions from his staff, such as “END QUOTE” and “TOPLINE MESSAGE.”
He has also made odd statements, telling one online audience that when he was a patient at Walter Reed Hospital, the nurses would “breathe in my nostrils to make me move.”
The Biden campaign did not respond to a request for comment.
While McCormick says Biden was a more articulate speaker in the White House, his tendency to ramble sometimes caused him problems with foreign adversaries.
McCormick’s recent book Joe Biden Unauthorized recounts his time working with Biden and takes a critical look at the former vice president, including the time he says Biden was “humiliated” by Russia’s Vladimir Putin in 2011.
During Biden’s first visit with then-Prime Minister Vladimir Putin in March 2011, McCormick said the former KGB leader “publicly humiliated” the vice president by cutting off his microphone during their press conference—an incident that McCormick said never made it into media coverage of the trip.
Biden’s staffers at the time “made a big deal about how Putin really dominated the conversation [with] Obama” in a prior meeting, said McCormick. They indicated that Biden, with his decades of Senate foreign policy experience, wasn’t going to let Putin get the upper hand.
But during the public portion of the meeting in Moscow—as Biden launched into a soliloquy about his visits to Russia during the Cold War—his microphone was abruptly cut off mid-sentence, the press lighting was switched off, and Putin’s aides ushered the media out of the room, said McCormick.

On February 7, two days after President Trump was acquitted by the Senate of impeachment charges, he gave a lengthy interview to veteran journalist Bob Woodward which he allowed to be taped.
Instead of talking about the impeachment, however, Woodward was ‘surprised’ that Trump was focused on COVID-19, the deadly virus gripping Wuhan, China while Dr. Anthony Fauci and the World Health Organization downplayed the risks.
“This is deadly stuff,” Trump told Woodward, adding that the virus was possibly five times “more deadly” than the flu. Trump also told Woodward that the virus was airborne (while the World Health Organization explicitly said it was not, and maintained in January there was no human-to-human transmission).
Yet, days before Trump’s February 7 interview with Woodward, he restricted travel from China on the advice of his National Security team – for which he was called a ‘xenophobe’ by Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi. Three weeks later, Pelosi invited people to come to Chinatown, without masks, to “say everything is fine here.”
Now, Pelosi is on MSNBC claiming that Trump’s “delay, distortion and denial is responsible for many of the deaths we have today.”
And so, CNN’s ‘gotcha’ is this: Trump also admitted to Woodward in a follow-up interview on March 19 that he purposefully downplayed the virus in order to avoid panic.
“I wanted to always play it down,” he said, adding “I still like playing it down, because I don’t want to create a panic.”
“CNN somehow overlooks Fauci, Pelosi and Biden downplaying the virus themselves – with the latter two calling Trump a xenophobe for his China travel restrictions. Three days later, Trump announced restrictions on travel from China, a move suggested by his national security team — despite Trump’s later claims that he alone backed the travel limitations. Nevertheless, Trump continued to publicly downplay the danger of the virus. February was a lost month. Woodward views this as a damning missed opportunity for Trump to reset ‘the leadership clock’ after he was told this was a ‘once-in-a-lifetime health emergency.'” -CNN
