Concerning “Critical Race Theory” and West Point Academy: an excellent article fromThe American Conservative based on information from a reader giving the text of a 40-page manifesto written by West Point graduates demanding “wokeness” at West Point .
The reader providing the manifesto wrote this:
“…I knew some of these cadets personally and professionally in the performance of my duties, but not well enough to be able to speculate about their motives. …. The effect of these policy proposals is to cede control of the Academy’s entire curriculum from the ground up to black cadets in the name of Anti-Racism….
This document …constitutes wholesale moral blackmail of the Academy, its graduates, and its present-day leadership. It consists almost entirely of a recitation of black grievances against whites, with a few token gestures to ‘Latinx’ and ‘Asian’ minorities, but nothing more, probably because it didn’t occur to the writers of this document that there might be more to American history than their single-minded focus on racism. I should note that the Academy is currently led by a black man (LTG Williams, himself a graduate with many years of honorable service) and that the Corps of Cadets itself has been led by black people (Simone Askew in 2018 and EJ Coleman in 2016) twice in the last five years. Black cadets are represented at the Academy in greater numbers than their proportion of the population. Of course, none of this is enough for the Woke Mob.

I failed to make it into the Naval Academy because of my eyesight.
I had a student whose life dream was to be educated at West Point and to be an Officer in the U.S. Army. I wrote the best recommendation for him that I’ve ever written in my life. He had earned it.
The student was screened out because he hadn’t “lettered” in three different sports in high school. He was a football player, but also an academic competition participant during the other two seasons.
The aspiring young man was a patriot of the first order whose entire focus was to serve his country. He submitted the same recommendation letter to other schools. VMI benefitted from his rejection by West Point.
The way to stop this is to abolish the academies and for every patriot to stop sending their children to serve in the military. Let them have an all tranny or female military – no one should be risking their life for a country that blatantly discriminates against them. White men need to start putting themselves first.
It sounds to me that the military academies aren’t getting the children of patriots right now. Maybe we could start from there? Military academies should change their curricula so only patriots would want to attend.
I am a patriot. My entire family is made up of patriots. I have a son age 35, a daughter age 25, and another son age 23. All officers in the military. And they would never turn on their family and fellow patriots for some SJWs make believe grievances. This crap disgusts me but makes me even more proud of my kids who serve in spite of this nonsense.

Thank you for your service, doc. I agree with you. I’ve worked with high school students who were accepted into WP, the Naval Academy, the AF academy, and the Coast Guard. Not a one was a valedictorian, but they were all inspired, and inspiring, students with excellent grades, and more importantly, with excellent work ethics and attitudes. I wouldn’t trade away an hour spent with any of those kids – who all graduated to become officers in the U.S. military branches.
Addendum: We hail from a small town school district in an agricultural community. Nothing even close to fancy or wealthy, or highly taxed or well endowed. Our kids made their way on merit.
My niece does not have “high income professional parents” nor did she attend a “high achievement” school.
She did very well in all her classes while attending a rural high school, and after many letters of recommendation from various individuals — including a Congressman — was accepted into the Naval Academy.
She graduated four years ago and now knows how to fly almost every kind of plane and helicopter, and can take off and land a jet on a battleship.

I was lucky (or unlucky ;-)) to be living in NYC during the Dinkens administration. DJT was starting to flourish there and I became a big admirer of how he handled adversity. I find it refreshing that Cotton has stepped up and been vocal about in-your-face issues and has embraced most of what PDJT has set forward. I don’t think PDJT would have added him to the list if he didn’t think he was qualified. I trust our President.
Cotton is a member of the SSCI. This Senate committee is widely seen, as the most corrupt, in Congress.
Second, he supported Gina Haspel for the CIA Director position.
Third, he attended the conference referenced above. Focused on stopping President Trump.
The President, would receive recommendations for various positions. The person who provided Cotton’s name. Needs to be fired.

Recall Obama and Holder were creating an embryonic National Police Force & National Civilian Army by creating and expanding these functions within the Executive Branch of the Government. It hit full stride when Treyvon and Hands Up don’t shoot hit the news. Obama bought record amounts of small arms and ammunition, to arm them.
The President does not have full control of the executive and by definition elements of the private police force/armed element each Executive Agency has in place. The dems are playing for the House and Senate which are not decided by the electoral college. The real vote harvesting battles will be for congressional seats. The Senate is the more vulnerable of the two because harvesting is easier in the cities. Please think accordingly.

It had to do with the fear of running companies out of the vaccine business and public health..not because they are “so dangerous”.

This is clearly a very lib/Democrat group masquerading as “non-partisan” because the head of it is Tom Lopach, a highly partisan guy who used to work for Sens. Ted Kennedy and Jon Tester, both rabid libs of course.

The text invites recipients to go through their website to request an absentee ballot. I suspect that they filter out Republicans or at least find ways to maximize Democrat votes, even as they pretend to be “non-partisan.”
One thing that makes me highly suspicious of this “Voter Participation Center” is that they referenced me to an address in another county/district at which I have never lived and at which I most certainly have never registered to vote (in my state but not my county or congressional district of residence). It is the home of a sister of mine but it is not otherwise associated with me in any way. Thus, I think they are beating the bushes so hard that they are trying to round up votes that make no legal sense. I don’t know what happens if people respond to such invites to “request an absentee ballot” but as I say I suspect that (1) they filter out or at least minimize the Republican requests, and (2) may encourage/enable people to vote illegally…. as I would be doing if I requested an absentee ballot in my name for the address they included on the text message.
It really shocked me that they attached this address and my name somehow, since the two don’t belong together, certainly not in the context of voting and not even in any existing database that I would have imagined. If they do this in millions of cases and filter the responses they could round up a lot of illegal votes????? !!!
It does suggest to me that they are doing some massive data mining and data crunching, because I don’t think my name and that address could have been in any existing database.
