The refusal of the corporate media and the official levers of power to honestly address the malignant and dangerous subculture within black America is a ticking time bomb.
Eric Holder famously called Americans “cowards” for refusing to want to have the national discussion on race he wanted. What Holder meant was, average Americans in his view are “cowards” for refusing to be continually excoriated on race for sins they never committed. A real and honest discussion on race would address the growing and entrenched attitude within some segments of this subculture that it is okay to randomly assault anyone, at any time, for any reason, simply to satisfy urges of rage and perceived “disrespect”.
It’s a growing phenomena and a dangerous and extremely serious public safety issue. Whether it’s gangs of black teens wilding, playing the KnockOut Game, or just random assaults in the name of “Justice for Trayvon” or any another vengence lust du jour, it’s time we demanded that Holder convene that national discussion on race – and violence – that we, America, want to have – and which he wants to deny is a problem.
Watch what happens when a light skinned indie reporter is foolish enough to ask a group of black males their opinion on the Zimmerman verdict (h/t “Mr. Conservative”).
Yeah, you know what, Holder? It’s definitely time we have this conversation. Some tough love and expectations that everyone be held to the same standards needs to be a key component of the resolution.
It’s never “Jus’ annotha figh’ “. And it’s never okay to use your fists or boots to vent your frustration.
