We have nothing except research, public statements and historical analysis to advance the following proposition. However, it does seem to be the overall GOP direction at the time of this writing.
Many people have opined, accurately, that our research into the facts and events around Libya and Syria 2011, 2012 through today – which form the Benghazi Brief – are dots available for more than just a group of misfits to connect.
In short, if we know – then congress knows.
All of which must be true, and leads to the natural follow-up,…. so what is congress going to do with the information?
Our hunch is that congress is specifically slow-walking the known facts and events of Hillary Clinton’s tenure as Secretary of State specifically because it is absolutely guaranteed to derail her presidential bid.
It would take no more than a first year, articulate, law student to pose questions in front of a House or Senate Oversight committee which would reveal the depth of Clinton’s flawed policy, expose the horrific consequences and reveal the lies inherent within the Benghazi narrative.
Simple questions would easily reveal how Hillary and Leon Panetta were specifically responsible for arming elements of al-Qaeda during a combined State Dept and CIA operation.
Because it would be, and is, so easy to expose the underbelly of that flawed political strategy -bordering on illegal- and knowing the House and Senate leadership were fully aware of both Libyan and Syrian operations,…. and knowing they have done nothing to expose that construct, the only natural conclusion is they plan to use the information to destroy any hope that Hillary would have at a 2016 White House bid.

Who will be appointed to the House Intelligence Committee seat of outgoing Chairman Mike Rogers will solidify that premise.
If we are correct, the Trey Gowdy Select Benghazi Committee will build an effort methodically toward that goal; but they would not want to do so too early as to allow another Democrat to step in, raise money, and fill the Clinton void.
There are only 18 Democrat Governors left in office, none who are presidential material; and few Democrat Senators who could even begin to fathom a 2016 Presidential bid. The depth of the bench behind Hillary is virtually non-existent.
The Democrats have only one viable candidate for 2016, Hillary Clinton.

What better way to insure a GOP win, for whoever it is, than to allow the Clinton campaign to suck up all the money, suck up all the hopes and aspirations, and yet slowly walk all the way to the end of that inevitable and invisible Benghazi cliff hidden within the House committee?
