We need more gun control… AKA… Cowboys with guns stopping bad guys with guns. That is control.
Saturday. August 1st. Two twenty-nine in the afternoon, Mountain time.
A brand-new In-N-Out on Blue Lakes Boulevard North in Twin Falls, Idaho. The place had been open for exactly EIGHT DAYS. Busy shopping plaza, Saturday lunch rush, hundreds of people in the area. Kids in the back seat. Drive-thru line wrapped around the building the way it always is at a new one.
Three people are dead. Seven more were shot. Two of them were still in critical condition Sunday afternoon. One of the dead was an employee who clocked in that morning to make somebody a burger.
And before the coroner had finished, before a single family had been notified, before the police chief had even said the shooter’s name out loud, the same people who have been running the same play since Columbine were back on your timeline demanding GUN CONTROL.
Fine.
Let us talk about control. I teach physics for a living. I know precisely what that word means, and I promise you it does not mean what you think it means.

That cowboy had a unique looking pistol. Hard to tell in the video what that was. It does add credence to the question of which gun is best for defense and that answer is, the one you have on hand.
I am not an expert, but it appeared to be to be a semi-auto pistol with a suppressor.
Would be very interested to find out what it was for sure.

Looks like Scott Bessent was burning the midnight oil as the US Treasury steps in to intervene on the Japanese Yen 💴. Japan holds a ton of US Treasuries so the action was needed. It shows how closely intertwined the two nations are.

My sense regarding the multiple pauses in attacks on Iran, which is pure speculation on my part, is that PDJT believes that a nation-saving, popular uprising of Iranians against the IRGC regime has been/is being organized and its successful emergence is highly likely in the very short term.
The attacks on IRGC forces and directly supportive infrastructure are intended to control “the beast” while the insurgency is building in strength.
Moreove, the President is not being “played.” He is attempting to avoid destroying facilities essential to the quality of life and production of revenue that will facilitate the new government’s successful transition.
I may be very wrong, but the President’s superior intellect and successful results over time indicate, to me, that he will create the best possible outcome for America and our ME allies.
The current regime must be overthrown, and he will see it through for the long term betterment of the world.
