We need more gun control… AKA… Cowboys with guns stopping bad guys with guns. That is control.
Saturday. August 1st. Two twenty-nine in the afternoon, Mountain time.
A brand-new In-N-Out on Blue Lakes Boulevard North in Twin Falls, Idaho. The place had been open for exactly EIGHT DAYS. Busy shopping plaza, Saturday lunch rush, hundreds of people in the area. Kids in the back seat. Drive-thru line wrapped around the building the way it always is at a new one.
Three people are dead. Seven more were shot. Two of them were still in critical condition Sunday afternoon. One of the dead was an employee who clocked in that morning to make somebody a burger.
And before the coroner had finished, before a single family had been notified, before the police chief had even said the shooter’s name out loud, the same people who have been running the same play since Columbine were back on your timeline demanding GUN CONTROL.

I am not an expert, but it appeared to be to be a semi-auto pistol with a suppressor.

As an artist trained in color theory, there are NO people with white or black skin. They do not exist other than some loose conglomeration of various shades of brown beige pink, and as such, we should stop using colors. Are native American red? Are Chinese yellow? A suppressor is in the way, just added bulk and thus mostly impractical on a concealed carry weapon. Likely that firearm wielded by that citizen was in his glove box or upon his car seat.

Here is the game plan that the forces against Trump will be using for the foreseeable future.
They will attempt to get you to make the perfect the enemy of the good.
Be it the freedom clowns and spending, the immigration hawks with H1B visas, the peace doves with timing, the cultural warriors with total bans of DEI/CRT, the neocons with war fighting, or the swamp dwellers with draining the swamp.
All of them will attempt to get you to believe on whatever issue is the issue of the day that it doesn’t go far enough or do enough. They will try to make you think that some sub issue of that issue is more important and should be handled first, that since the issue hasn’t been handled yet it won’t be, that we can’t do more than one thing, that so and so is a plant to stop the draining of the swamp, or that because it wasn’t 100% Trump lied. On every single issue, one or more groups will attempt this strategy.
You can’t allow them that power over you. If Trump secures the border and deports 2 million, don’t allow them to reduce that good by them saying well he didn’t deport 2.5 million, so he failed or lied.
You can’t allow them to use the perfect to void out the good in the coming months.
They will try. They already have with the CR and the H1b visa debates. It works, that is why they use it. You have to keep it in the front of your head on everything about to occur that half a loaf or hopefully in most cases 7/8ths a loaf is better than no loaf.
Do not allow them to gaslight you into thinking the good is the enemy of the perfect.
In the real world, most things are never perfect, but if we try real hard, we can get plenty of good accomplished in the coming 4 years.

The purpose and goals of President Trump are plainly visible by his actions and consistent: He is for the benefit first of the common PEOPLE of this country, then of the PEOPLE in the rest of the world. It is validating, even to our battered conservative skepticism.
The methods of his leadership are amazing. I still don’t get HOW he does it, or HOW he is able to get so much momentum going, but every day the momentum is growing. President Trump is transparent in his words and actions. He is consistent in what he says, what he does, and what he asks/demands of others. His promises are bold and he keeps them like no other president has. He continues to make massive, nearly overnight changes, not only in our country, but in the world. It is amazing that he is able to accomplish so much when there are so many snakes in the grass. This second term, he is weeding them out faster and choosing like-minded servants who multiply his effectiveness. No U.S. president has ever faced so much organized resistance and treason than President Trump
He has chosen to use his intellect and every skill he has to do what is right. He has tremendous faith that he can make a difference in this world. He has a confidence and courage such that he doesn’t care what others think, yet a humility to know he has to do it with the help of like minded people. Those people are the “common” people, and he ridicules those who think they are not common. He does not show humility before men, but his actions show humility before God.
He believes people are basically good. He believes that God is real. He believes that healthy people are happy people, and they need to be able to create wealth freely for their labor, and have the freedom to spend their money on what is good for them.
He believes the United States, with its Constitutional Republic, is the best environment in the world to enable and give opportunity for people to be happy and prosperous.
He believes that we can be a light for the world, but we must demand that the rest of the world respect us and our right to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.
He believes the enemy of our country are the stupid, greedy American people who have been selfishly taking advantage of this country; who betrayed the trust and obedience of its people; and who diverted the people’s wealth for their own selfish gain, at the expense of the principles of this country. He’s not going to allow that anymore. He is not afraid to call out our enemies.
He has cultivated and focused the family of MAGA. Identifying those people whose goodness, industriousness, trust, and obedience have been taken advantage of and abused. He has opened our eyes to this abuse, and to the rights of freedom and self determination that have been quietly stolen from us.

He is convincing those who are very wealthy (most of whom truly earned their money), that the best economic soil in which to build wealth is in a constitutional republic, which supports the ability of the common man to earn wealth in proportion to his efforts. The economic engine of the United States is the human spirit freed to enjoy the fruits of honest labor, and that engine has more natural and raw horsepower than any other governed economy.
The Trump Train seems to be remarkably aligned with universal principles of Truth, which reflect the will and design of our Creator, and are the best standard by which we should live. These same principles were what our country’s founders used to declare independence, and framed into the Constitution of this nation.
Our founders believed that a nation should preserve the right and freedom of an individual to seek, understand, and live by God’s principles. They believed that free individuals working together in humility would make a stronger nation than a government which dictates its will on the people. President Trump professes and seeks to lead and restore this nation back to these same principles.
These principles resonate deeply within all human beings, down to our DNA in every cell, in our spirits, and produce fruit that “miraculously” multiplies. My sense regarding the multiple pauses in attacks on Iran, which is pure speculation on my part, is that PDJT believes that a nation-saving, popular uprising of Iranians against the IRGC regime has been/is being organized and its successful emergence is highly likely in the very short term.
The attacks on IRGC forces and directly supportive infrastructure are intended to control “the beast” while the insurgency is building in strength.

The longer Iran is subjugated to the US’ full-spectrum attack (the military component being the most visible) the weaker Iran becomes. That would be the most positive outcome and hopefully it’s true. This stop start policy is not easy to take for those of us who don’t mind second chances but when it gets to ten chances with the same m.o. that doesn’t work, it begins to lose it’s believability as a serious strategic winning decision.
If you have kids or work with them at all, this kind of situation just frosts you because it is about the worst disciplinary strategy you can have and it never works out well in the end for anybody. Say what you mean and follow through or don’t say anything at all is a parent’s best friend in creating a child who understands consequences immediately. Maybe the principle of that isn’t applicable in this war situation though.
But hey, Pres. Trump has his reasons for doing it this way so time to just go along and see what happens. Maybe he wants Iran to keep delaying the peace settlements to line things up the way he and his allies want them to be and is pushing for this issue to go this way, taking the time and really strategically getting all the ducks in a row. Who knows.

Agree with all you say. I wonder though if some of what is behind the pauses are the low levels of munitions available for the bombing campaign. After the Biden administration shipped as much of our stockpiles as they could to Ukraine or to replace what our NATO ‘allies’ sent from their stockpiles, everytime anything is expended over Iran must be a critical concern for our logistics people. The production rates for munitions of many types is below what we need to sustain operations against Iran, and not everything can be used because of other worldwide commitments and concerns. So every pause may well have a resupply element to it. But naturally that is not something PT and his people would want broadcast to our enemies.

MV Roger Blough is a lake freighter built in 1972 by American Ship Building Company in Lorain, Ohio. She serves as a lake freighter on the Great Lakes. The ship is owned by Great Lakes Fleet, Inc. and is named for the former chairman of U.S. Steel, Roger Blough.
The ship’s launch was originally planned for July 1971. However, on June 24, 1971, the ship suffered a major engine room fire which killed four and caused serious damage. Sea trials and delivery were delayed by a year to June 1972.
The Roger Blough assisted in the search for SS Edmund Fitzgerald. On November 11, 1975, the morning after the sinking, the crew of Roger Blough recovered a 25-person life raft from Edmund Fitzgerald.
The Roger Blough is about 858 ft (262 m) long, while the Edmund Fitzgerald is 729 ft (222 m) long.
The MV Roger Blough is 858 feet long and has a gross tonnage of 22,041.
How many fires did that thing have? There are two in that story. 1971 and 2021.

Files show that the bow of the BLOUGH struck the stern of the PHILLIP R. CLARKE on January 11, 1973, while both were working in ice in the Straits of Mackinac. The BLOUGH suffered a hole in her bow and was repaired at Lorain during the 1972/73 winter layup.
On October 9, 1994, the BLOUGH had anchored in the Ojibway anchorage of the Detroit River just above Fighting Island. She did so to avoid strong west winds but her efforts were futile since she dragged her anchors in the wind and went aground on a mud bank.
The Blough provided service from 1972-2022 but was laid up from in 1981.
The BLOUGH was laid up at Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, from September 12, 1981, through September 25, 1987. This was partially due to economic conditions but also due to the BLOUGH’s unusual self-unloader
Besides searching for the Fitzgerald she rescued another ship:
On April 26, 1996, the BLOUGH was not in trouble. Her fleet mate GEORGE SLOAN suffered engine trouble off Isle Royale. The BLOUGH came and secured the SLOAN to her starboard side and then towed the SLOAN 100 miles to Duluth where tugs maneuvered the SLOAN into the harbor.
The MV Roger Blough is laid up in Conneaut, Ohio as of July 2026 and is not in active service.
As of the latest updates, the ship’s future remains uncertain, with no indications of resuming active service.

Growing up on the SE Corner of Lake Michigan and in the 1960s, i Was Immersed in the Great Lakes Shipping. The Arrivals of the Ships into Port made the Daily Newspaper and my Parents would take the Family to watch their Arrival and Departure.

My best friend from the USCG served on the Mac I think 71 -73. I coxswained 30, 40, 41 and the 44 footers for search and rescue.
I also set shallow water bouys with one of these, 45′ bouy tender.
My late father in law was the captain of the Coast Guard ship USCGC Woodrush (WLB-407) that first searched for the Edmund Fitzgerald.
When people ask me what was the most memorable thing my dad ever said…I have to tell people how he often spoke of his fear of an engine room fire. Of course he said other memorable things, but this always comes to mind first.
Finding the Fitz’s empty life raft, must have devastated the Blough’s Capt. and crew…
We were in our hot Canal Zone driveway, when the news came over SCN radio, about the Fitz…

I guess one of the purposes of MSM is to make us expect that things will get worse, and worse, and expect … horrible things to happen.
In my prayer and meditation periods, GOD seems to suggest “silently” to expect that “things” will get better and better as I align myself with GOD’S WILL.
2 different ways to see what is happening. I have been trained to look for the bad, and expect bad stuff to happen. And the last month I have been guided to see “good outcomes” from my “silent” GOD time.
And actually, “good” things are happening, … GOD guides me to be “relaxed, and don’t call others so much, or worry, … but relax and trust the process. I’m not used to doing this. MSM has taught me to “expect the worse”, “plan for the worse”. “worry about the worse thing to happen’.
God time, I’m loving more and more. 🙂

to expand on that idea. Since I am conditioned to “expect something bad to happen”… my Silent God sessions focus DIRECTLY on a pain, or issue I am working on that causes me to “worry”. I look directly at it! Stop THINKING … and just GOD BREATH INTO IT! Be SILENT … and give this ISSUE/PAIN to GOD to deal with it. I have been practicing different versions of this for a number of years, but, … this “practice” of looking directly at “ISSUE” … and not getting mad,/angry/fearful/etc … but STOPPING the “thinking process”, and to just GOD BREATH INTO THIS issue. Works amazingly well for me. I think it started a number of years ago, stubbing my toe, and feeling intense pain, I GOD Breathed into it, and 2-3 seconds later, the pain went away completely, totally. I was shocked, I didn’t expect it to happen so fast. Over the next few years I applied this GOD THING, to other things … some things were “healed” or “issue fixed” after a few days time. And some things took longer to GOD BREATH into them.
It takes practice, lots of practice … to not indulge in “negative-picturing of stuff”, and just be SILENT, GOD BREATH INTO IT, and BE Patient! Relax … and LET GOD handle this “no INNER MENTAL STUFF”, … and over the day, …. I take actions I wouldn’t have taken in the past, … just auto-matically .. thinking and doing stuff without any “ego-back of head thinking”.
Interesting thing about TRUMP, he made the apprencice show, running for 14 years, very popular show on tv. It’s purpose was to look for people that could do a TASK …Trump gave them to do. TRUMP was being trained (by GOD) to look for the best people. And you know what … TRUMP had famous LINE … YOU ARE FIRED … when person didn’t do the TASK! TRUMP even then was looking for the BEST PEOPLE to do the task, and NOT BE ARAID to FIRE THEM! In public, on his tv show! The BALLS on TRUMP. Amazing man, and his method has produced some of the BEST PICKS our country has ever had. TRUMP IS THE GOAT! of finding the right person to do the assigned task, and if they can’t do it, YOU ARE FIRED, and Trump looks for another person with experience to do THAT TASK.

Heavenly Father provides all we need for our purpose at this time. I was disfigured as a young lad and that was a huge learning curve for me. I had to have grafts because of burns and boy was that kinda ugly! As I aged, Heavenly Father healed those looks and it is kind of back to normal. The learning was worth every disappointment I had to accept. That in essence taught me not to judge a book by its cover, Thank you Heavenly Father for that education!

My worry is the people are not as well armed as the IRGC…and not as well trained. And still hearing of arrests and imprisonments…with executions still happening.

I have to agree although I think it has definitely gone down hill a bit more since Di Blasio. My 21 year old relative, female, is obsessed with NYC, with all city living really. Grew up in suburbia in a very protected upper middle class life. Sees the glamour and the fashion etc of NYC, but not the bad stuff. She and her two friends want to move there after they graduate college this year. I have told her to be sure she looks at the real NYC not the fantasy movie Prada NYC. She insists she does, has friends who live there already, but I have my doubts.
I am hoping the cost of living will prohibit these new college grads who have no jobs yet from trying this plan out. However, they are adults now and can do what they want to. It’s an age old right of passage to go off on your own to places you think it would be the end all to live in and learn the reality of what it actually is, but now that seems highly dangerous to me with what we know is going on there, in any city really, especially for young white females. I’m hoping there is another plan in place for them that doesn’t include NYC as a place to live and work.

But how did we even get here? When I were a lad in old Blighty in the early ’60s, whenever we heard little Johnny up the road had the measles, we all got sent round there to play right away. The hope was we’d catch it early in life so we’d be immune as adults when it could be a bit risky. Same with mumps and chickenpox.
I got them all plus German Measles that way. The only one the girls were kept away from was German Measles as we were told it might be bad for their chances of motherhood.

I have seen some suggest he is an idiot that doesn’t understand how anything works. His stupidity is driving people out of NYC and forcing business closures and property sales. Thing is, it’s not an accident. He is doing it all intentionally. Because if he can drive out property owners, the “wealthy”, and business owners than everything left can be bought up for pennies on the dollar. That is his plan. Also, for all the people that flee or leave, he will just replace them and house them in NYC’s newly acquired property. Native New Yorkers will be replaced by you know who from you know where.

I don’t think the Mayor has the actual power to freeze rents. That is, in effect, an unconstitutional “taking,” and beyond his singular authority.

The other day a story about the fires in Spain popped up.
Apparently, the fires which are suspected of being deliberately set, are engulfing high end hotels and resorts located on prime real estate.
Another issue associated with these fires in the EU – the firefighting in those countries has been contracted to Russia for many years – until the sanctions kicked in.
Russian firefighting equipment (planes, fire engines) has been sitting there dry rotting for the past few years, and even if it were operable there aren’t any qualified crew to run them.
The EU countries didn’t do anything to backfill these strategic jobs and equipment after they instigated the sanctions.
Back to the fires in Washington State – can anyone help but be reminded of the Palisades/California fires?

The problem is and will remain the PUBLICLY UNSTATED and UNRECOGNIZED issue of the DEFINITION of ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT.
From 2009-2016, the Obama Auto-Pen was used to CONVERT 20-30 million illegal immigrants into LEGAL RESIDENTS called DACA’s. The Supreme Court denied President Trump, in 2018, the ability to exercise his authority to RESCIND Obama’s DACA Executive order … the DACA Executive Order was never codified by Legislation. The Supreme Court set a dangerous Precedent concerning Executive Orders issued by the “correct political party”.
From 2020-2024 the Biden Auto-Pen was used to convert nearly every other illegal immigrant into a LEGAL RESIDENT … these are the illegal immigrants being defended by Lawfare. Lawfare is even being used when the President uses his authority to enforce immigration law to rescind Legal Residency for criminals. This is the exact reason the Uni-Party resists, by refusing to codify, any of the actions by the President or support his actions covered under the law.
The 7-Year Clock is running on all the DACAS + Auto-Pen Immigrants, as in they become citizens after that point. Plus, their BALLOTS become legal for the dumping.
The Supreme Court settled the Birth Right issue and the DACA Issue while Congress nor the States will act to amend the 14th Amendment … as well as not act to change immigration law (why should they at this point, technically no changes are needed as nearly ALL illegals are now Auto-Pen Legal Residents).
At this point there are 75-100+ million illegal immigrants who have been technically converted to legal residents, via the Presidential Executive Orders of Obama and Auto-Pen … with zero resistance from Congress and supported by the Courts.
Technically … the only illegal immigrants in the US are those who crossed the border illegally after 20 January 2025. These and the LEGAL Resident Immigrants (Auto-Pen and DACA) who commit crimes or were proven criminals before immigrating are the ONLY groups President Trump can actively deport.
Yes, H1B’s and like are also an issue but they are a drop in the bucket and potentially addressable issue by President Trump. As stated they are a drop in the bucket compared to the 10’s of Millions already here and who are slowly rolling over into the category of US Citizen, who’s ballots can be dumped.
The H1Bs may be a “drop in the bucket” from a numbers standpoint but their influence on jobs, the economy and opportunities for American children is outsized especially when taking into account the number of anchor babies they produce and their “family members” who enter under other chain migration visas.
No reason they can’t ALL be deported.

Congress has not passed a law to grant DACA recipients citizenship.
Citizenship eligibility for DACA recipients would require meeting naturalization requirements, not simply completing 7 years of DACA status.
The “process” occurs during the 7-Years includes the naturalization required and “temporary” is a lie … it is permanent after the Supreme Court ruling in 2018 that stopped president Trump from ending the executive Order issued by Obama that created DACA.
Congress not acting allowed naturalization to occur and also added to there being NO TIME LIMIT defining temporary.
Only an utterly uninformed naive person would be live otherwise.
The Path exists and has been taken. Those DACA’s are legally voting today.
