They may seem innocuous and crazy on the surface and not to be taken seriously, but there are enough loonies out there in the Dem party and left wing circles to make this something to be stopped immediately and firmly. Every one of the problems she lists is solvable by the MAGA programs of reindustrialization, reintroduction of the Hamiltonian American System of protections of American industries and American workers’ jobs, the abandonment of globalism and the return to strong nation states competing in world markets and protecting their own industries and workers. She is simply wrong about the history of why we have a Senate. It operates to protect minorities against a tyranny of a majority. Nonetheless, she is well on the way to understanding why MAGA works, and will work, for the American worker.
If we simply address the concerns of the voters who are inclined to seek solutions in the worn-out leftism of the 60’s (and I’ve been listening to it since then) that the DSA promotes, and point out how 47’s MAGA programs resolve those problems, DSA democrats’ support will dry up.

Why eliminate the Senate? If this crowd takes over the House and Senate in November, next July 4th will be the first United Socialists of America day and independence will no longer exist in America.
I appreciated an interview (any political interview) that didn’t indulge in red-baiting (or race-baiting, or etc., etc.) but just got the facts out there.
As Ms. Romer was talking, I kept thinking that, if not for a few points of utopian naivete (i.e., historical ignorance)… she could have become a “Promethean MAGA” supporter before she became radicalized. Parts of her diagnosis of global corruption and injustice overlap with MAGA’s framing of the problem.
Now, I don’t believe for a moment that she is open-minded to anything MAGA. As pleasant as she was, she is here to destroy. That’s all Communists believe–destroy what exists in order to see what dialectic synthesis brings forth from the chaos.
Which is why Communism is such a valuable tool to “the financial powers that be,” as they are always pre-positioned to arise from, and bring their order to, the chaos.
