Maybe. Found you don’t actually see the results of your parenting until your kids have kids. We had 3 and were married 48yrs. We have a police captain, a corporate interior designer & a director level healthcare executive. Our three are all married to their original partners. Their kids all appear to be well adjusted with stable home lives.

I also have no reference point for discussion. The millennial generation actively seeks street cred via various grievances or disabilities— real or imagined. Rather than giving credit for overcoming obstacles they get credit for every excuse to fail to overcome. I cannot begin to comprehend this mentality.

The biggest issue is boomers and gen x parents had generational failings where they said, “I don’t talk about religion and politics with my kids, they have to make those decisions on their own.”
Which was obviously retarded to do because religion and politics touch every aspect of your life. Guiding them on those paths are more important than any other thing, and yet these two generations largely failed.
Well, religion and politics do touch every aspect of life. However, there is no issue with “boomers” and “gen x parents”, it is an issue with some aged 60+, some aged 40+. There are no Generational Failings, only some-many individual failings thru all age groups.
There are Generational Failings. A generational failing of millennials and zoomers is falling away from love of Country and love of God. That doesn’t mean there are no Patriotic Christians among them, but it is a generational failing. The same is true of millennials and zoomers when it comes to believing the lies of the lgbtq agenda. Or gen X and millennials buying into the climate scam. None of these are universal among a given generation, but that doesn’t mean there were not Generational Failings.
I would focus on the public school systems. They really started to change in the 80’s and 90’s.
The change in the public schools began at the same time as mass immigration happened. Mid 1985-86 started the whole thing.
I remembered the Vietnamese immigration period. One difference though is that the majority of them went to work or started businesses. That’s the American dream, not the enter the country and go directly on benefits as we see now.
But the fault is with the parents for failing to recognize that. Yes, the school system is terrible. But it wasn’t near as bad when they went through it, so they largely trusted that the schools were good. I understand why it happened, but that doesn’t absolve them from the generational failing. But not even most private schools (even Christian ones) are any good, or have been for years. It is extremely bleak out there, some good things are happening though (CLT competing with SAT and ACT, for instance).
We have to fix public schools, definitely. It is the number 2 issue behind immigration.

Started in the 60s when Johnson introduced a social policy..the “Great Society”…which made it more financially advantageous for women to be unmarried with children, no matter how many biological fathers there were.
Add in that it became economically necessary for two parent incomes, therefore offloading the care and education of children to strangers, removing a mother’s influence from the rearing of her children.
Remove God and patriotism from the institutions which became the caretakers for the children who came under their influence.
A toxic combination which has only gotten worse as the decades have rolled on.

Many of us, too many, have been first lamenting then screaming about that subject since 1970!
Our full time granddaughter was raised the way we were raised.
Our Gang comedies, Nancy Drew, etc. She has had a e-reader since 8 years young. She does have of late a cell phone that is locked down and we look at it often.

I’d say that having spent her working life in the educational establishment puts he in an excellent position to comment. Given that her country is probably several years ahead of ours in the downward spiral, I’d give her extra points. And she’s not going to be welcome in most parts of her chosen profession.

Public schools have been indoctrinating students against Christianity, America, whites, and capitalism for decades. Parents did not care as long as it was free babysitting.

If we don’t start mass deportation and massively limit legal immigration it won’t matter anyway. Demography is destiny and soon the immigrants and their offspring will change our country to communism and make it difficult not to be muslim. That’s endgame and they are winning.
I partially agree, certainly with the latest generation working, but the younger ones behind them are beginning to break from the nonsense, because they see the damage the attitudes have caused themselves and all around them.
This is one of the reasons why Western governments are falling over themselves to ban social media for under 16’s, but the same people were hoping to roll out ‘Make it 16’ campaigns to lower the voting age. Now, with increasing panic they realise that this group are more conservative, not voting fodder sheep, and, shock horror, do not get their media from the MSM but alternative sources, hence the proposed bans.
As I said before, the 25-40 year olds are the real problem, especially the women and here, in the UK, black people, where a significant number have grown used to reflexively blaming every problem on racism and the Evil White Man, even when they live in communities they’ve had stewardship over for decades.
The children though are increasingly into 80’s-90’s music, (the Michael Jackson biopic is a huge hit with this group), buy special emulators so they can play simulated Gameboy and Sega consoles and watch classic movies (boys especially are focusing on any film that has traditional male role-models). Every time I have any contact with these people they seem more ‘based’ than before.
This is from an anecdotal perspective from quite a conservative area, but I’ve heard it being talked about in more liberal families and areas. Often the parents are worried that all their strenuous efforts to brainwash, de-gender and white-guilt their boys are being undone by ‘toxic masculinity’, and incel influencers on ‘the web’. Hence the ban, as this parental demographic (affluent white, upper middle-class, often divorced) make up a powerful lobby in the Labour Party and a considerable demographic in Parliament.
This vid has been posted on multiple other conservative YouTuber’s channels. I have criticized it heavily because she does not come out and name the main culprit for all of the problems. To me she seems to be actively avoiding naming it because she understands the blowback and ramifications if she does. Never ever forget that “oppersor and the oppressed” is the language and native tongue of Postmodernism and Poststructuralism. This garbage was imported from France in the 70s and early 80s and was dreamed up mainly by 3 French theorists: Jacques Derrida, Jacques Lacan, and the AIDS infected pedophile Michel Foucault (yes, Lyotard too) . They theorize that you’re a blank slate at birth and that societal pressures are what inscribe and make you up. Everything is mediated by language and there is no room for history, psychology, biology, genetics, gender, art or God. Everything is viewed as a power play and unfair/unequal power dynamics. Also the canon of history is false and cannot be trusted. Postmodernism contains a lot of Marxist views. It started in the humanities, English departments and social sciences but has bled into every other component of academia. It has ruined everything it has touched and it is now in medical schools and law schools. It is the main cause of pathologic altruism which led to affirmative action and finally its most recent iteration DEI. We’ve managed to get rid of Darrida and Lacan but Foucault is absolutely entrenched and utterly worshiped by academia in the US and Europe. One had better gird their loins if they’re coming for Foucault in academia. However naming the problem and dragging it out into the sunlight is the 1st step in solving the problem.
