It is my understanding that this agreement is not a treaty, Greg. In fact, I don’t believe we’ve heard the word “treaty” used. And so I’m not sure Congress will have the constitutional opportunity to intervene.
Perhaps that is why President Trump has nebulously labeled it from the beginning as a “deal”. So that they cannot.

The President thinks it might be a good idea to run this MOU past the Congress? Maybe he’s just playing nice with the crowd. I hope so. Congress (House and Senate) are packed with RINOS and communists who are totally incapable of ever doing the right thing. They are compromised. They are cowards. The flip side of letting the senate in on the deal. If they scuttle it then iran will block the strait and send the world economy into a tailspin. I can see a situation where POTUS “allows” Congress to have a say right after they pass the Save America Act. Until the Senate takes care of that legislation then POTUS is going to let them scream and cry.
