I’ve been checking since early evening to see what the ladies are wearing…no disappointments at all. Even the Queen wore a very lovely gown that flatters her. Of course that historic jewelry she wears helps! Yes, our First Lady doesn’t need jewelry but we know she has some stunning pieces…I wish she would wear them on these special occasions. Even Michelle used to “borrow” from jewelers when they had these formal occasions.

As I watched this farce, I distinctly heard the king say that congress needs to stop Trump. He’s as much on his hands and knees pleading with them to stop Trump from exiting that Walking Dead alliance known as NATO. The so-called Christian king, who couldn’t be bothered to deliver an Easter message, but bent his knee to the Islamic terrorists in his nation, expounding on our mutual Christian heritage and his bastardized version of what it means to be Christian.
I pray an end to that sclerotic monarchy of inbred know-nothings who live off the largess of what is left of Britains tax paying native tax paying citizens.

To be fair, I thought it was a fantastic speech. He has a different opinion than most of us; but it was well delivered and well written.
The only thing I had a problem with, was when he quoted the Gettysburg Address to criticize what America is “doing” right now, which is basically a war with Iran, and avoiding propping up Ukraine. The Gettysburg Address, at least in part, was to rally troops to keep fighting a civil war. Seemed a little tone deaf to me.
Other than that, I didn’t agree with all he said but I have more respect for his elegance. I think he quite cleverly brought up some of his disagreements with the Trump Administration, and did so in such a way that it was hard to find anything to complain about. We’ll just have to disagree with him. When somebody spends 10 minutes praising the country and the founding fathers, let alone as the King of England, it’s hard to get upset when they mention the ice caps are melting, or that he wants us to send money to Ukraine.
I admired the way he cleverly brought up the Nato declaration after 9-11, which was an obvious jab at the President saying Nato will never have our back. That was a very clever way to handle that. i admire it. Not saying I agree with his position, I just like the way he does business.
