It was an excellent speech. He probably was influenced by things he saw behind the scenes at the Supreme Court. Jackson and Sotomayor especially have contempt for the republic our founders created and show it in their rulings. Barrett does too though to a lesser extent. He’s probably never seen justices this blatantly political and so eager to eliminate First Amendment protections as applied to those on the right. And he probably sees that happening overall at a national level, where to be viable, a dem candidate has to openly slam our country. Wilson and the progressives (communists) are the worst thing ever to happen to this country.

After The Daily Signal reached out for comment, the group deleted its press release claiming to combat “disinformation,” and announced a pause in the program. The City of Boston, for its part, confirmed that it awarded a grant to the group, but explicitly stated that no taxpayer funds may be used for the program.
“OUTnewcomers, a grassroots LGBTQ+ migrant justice organization based in Greater Boston, announces the temporary pause of its wellness initiative, Project Belonging Matters,” the group posted in a press release after The Daily Signal reached out for comment Thursday.

I am not optimistic. At oral argument there seemed to be a lot of skepticism among the squishes. This is why we miss Scalia. He could change minds. I just hope Thomas and Alito are working overtime on the three Trump justices.
I hope there are enough people who care about the stock market, the neutering of Iran, the serious efforts to expose corruption of all kinds, the limiting of illegal immigration to keep Democrats out of powers in 2026, but I have real doubts. People continue to struggle so bad. Costs just continue climbing for everything.
There are millions and millions of young voters, in particular, who are just…. broken and hopeless. The job market seems to be frozen– not many jobs and no raises. People desperately needing to replace a vehicle – can’t afford it. Can’t afford an apt Groceries still much higher than a few years back. A young man said to me today. I make $22 an hour and I still really can’t live on that. I have no health insurance. I’m barely getting by. And there’s nobody in Washington who makes the decisions that can even imagine trying to live on that amount.
I hope there aren’t even people stupid enough to vote for Dims at all considering their policies are the ones that resulted in the issues and that they’ll make things even worse – just as they are in Virginia and NY (see post few up about Virginia) and have been in California and Minnesota and Illinois for a long time and just as Turley warns about a few posts up.
Then there are the quite considerable increases in the job markets for blue collar jobs and food prices that have actually gone down after the insanity of 2021-2024.
