The Los Angeles authorities hold a press conference to announce they are awaiting search warrants to be able to send detectives into the home of Rob Reiner whose body is reportedly laying inside.
Apparently, the appearance of dead people inside tends to give LAPD a strong indicator that a crime may have taken place. However, they are not sure and need a search warrant to investigate what specifically caused the dead people. WATCH:

PDJT came out with a statement. Many times silence is best and speaks loudest.
Reiner continually described the political climate under Trump as a potential shift towards autocracy, warning that democracy was at risk. He referred to Trump as a “tortured and struggling” individual, criticizing his behavior and political actions. Could this have helped motivate the two assassination attempts on President Trump? I don’t know, but maybe Reiner should have kept it “all in the family”.

President Trump has earned the right to speak freely about those who hate him. I would not have been as gracious as he.
Yes, but he hasn’t LEARNED the ability to know when to keep his mouth shut. Trump is doing the same thing that all the loathsome leftists did when Charlie Kirk was shot. And yes, I know Reiner was obnoxious.
I get that he’s our guy, but just think how much ill will Trump could save himself by just shutting the f up once in a while. If he has a problem with the Epstein files or the fact that Americans can barely afford groceries, maybe he could say something thoughtful instead of dismissively calling these VERY real issues “hoaxes.”
Hard to call him a “good sheriff” when he’s so busy shooting himself in the foot all the time.
SMFH
The difference is Kirk listened to his political enemies. Reiner tried to destroy his.
There’s no difference. Dancing on the corpse of someone who was brutally murdered without reason is trash behavior. If you think it’s okay because Trump’s doing it, or because Reiner was an annoying Democrat, you’re part of the problem.
Well said — I totally agree. I was listening to our local conservative talk radio show as I was driving tonight, and the conservative host was echoing your thoughts exactly. That it was inappropriate when the left mocked Charlie Kirk’s death, and just as inappropriate for the president to do it to Rob Reiner. That Reiner was a talented, if flawed man — but he was a loved film icon by many, and his family just suffered a devastating tragedy. Reiner’s own daughter found her parents killed in cold blood by her own brother. Why make cold, senseless remarks that make it all about you?
He added that he was hearing from a lot of conservatives — and even independents who voted Trump — who are turned off by needless crass swipes at someone who was just murdered. We NEED the independents this year, and POTUS is driving them away with loose talk that is beneath him.
I also agree that calling people’s serious financial concerns “hoaxes” reeks of a wealthy Republican surrounded by rich friends with a tin ear regarding those who are struggling. Especially when the government has caused people to be in a bind regarding unaffordable health insurance, housing, and other non-luxury items. President Trump’s strong suit used to be that he spoke up for the forgotten men and women, the hard working folks that play by the rules and are getting left behind. The rallies brought that out in him. I fear that between all his world travels and deals, he is becoming part of that insulated DC bubble that is out of touch with the voters that he needs to make the MAGA vision happen.
He is calling attention to a case which would otherwise be dropped from the media quickly because of the trans angle. I assume he knows what he is doing. The leftist media will have to prove him wrong so they will keep the story alive. There have been prior internet claims and Al Franken “jokes” pointing towards generational abuse from Carl to Rob to his son. Horrible if true.
Don’t you have somewhere else to comment concern troll?
It’s not concern trolling. It’s criticism. Is that allowed?
Thank you for that . F that guy.
When is everyone going to realize you can’t play thier game . You’ll never win . President Trump could have said the guy was a saint and they would have said “ Trump is pushing Christianity on us “
F em’
When all of the posturing and bloviating is done, it will be apparent that it was simply “all in the family”.
Not to speak ill of the dead but Rob Reiner was a prick. He was viciously partisan and said the most demeaning and insulting things he could about people he did not like including my ilk. I would not be surprised if he treated his children the same way. What goes around comes around.
Kind of like Alec Baldwin. He seems quieter lately since his comeuppance (although justice was denied), Jim Carrey has calmed down completely. That one rabid TDS Jewish actor, he is so fed up with anti-Semitism he is almost a Trump supporter now. DeNiro has not learned his lesson yet, but has toned down since his kin have misbehaved and shamed him (if that is possible). There is hope that others will see God is in charge.
If his son decapitated him, he would be Meathead-less.
Sorry, I just couldn’t help myself.
How embarrassing. Holier than thou, virtue signaling, pompous liberal, taken out by his own son. Too bad he didn’t survive the attack to have to explain why it happened. No doubt he would have blamed it on President Trump.
Just give it a minute…the lying morons on the Left will blame him anyway.
In what world do the police need a search warrant to investigate the scene of a homicide?
That’s the most nonsensical thing I ever heard
Californiastan.
The laws are written by the relevant location (State). Some legislation require police to obtain a search warrant for crime scenes. It has investigative benefits, say for example, police want to hold a property for three days whilst they obtain forensic samples, it provides that authority. The owner of the property can’t demand the police leave their property, if they are acting under the authority of the search warrant.
Thanks for the explanation.
They did the right thing. In ANY murder case, a search warrant is obtained to recover evidence. In this case the son has been arrested. ANYONE living in that house has the constitutional right not to have their personal belongings searched (unless a warrant is issued or “exigent” circumstances exist). Once the scene was secured, and no further violence is taking place and first aid is rendered, its time for a warrant… not a lawyer here… stayed at plenty of Holidays inns though.
Retired NC street cop here, the use of the search warrant eliminates the defendant contesting the results of the search that could actually commit him. It’s a smart move and is common across the nation. I’ve literally read aloud a search warrant for a house, car, storage unit before entering the premises.
The killer son might have lived with the parents. Best to get a legal warrant so evidence was not tossed out. It is what it is.
It’s going to take some time and a few rehearsals to thread this TDS needle.
However, they are not sure and need a search warrant to investigate what specifically caused the dead people.
There must not have been evidence of theft of more than $950 which means there was no crime in CA. /s
If there is a more crime friendly state, I am unaware of it. I think CA exported lunatic policies and people to other states such as Colorado.
CA is lost until we clean up the voting process to remove fraud and idiots stop passing insane legislation.
LAPD detective units are known to be very, very good, but as Californians, especially Los Angelenos know, the LA POLICE protects HOLLYWOOD….the industry, the people that make up the industry.
