IMHO, it would be quite nice if President Trump would include Elon Musk down the road in one of those Presidential Medal award ceremonies, thanking him for his contributions to our nation – and that cannot be denied, notwithstanding his recent behavior, Elon Musk HAS served the USA and Americans. Another person I think would be deserving of recognition would be Deirdre Imus, the wife of the late radio personality, Don Imus. Deirdre worked to bring about recognition of the possibility that childhood vaccines had something to do with the increased number of cases of autism. I think the “official response” was that what she was saying had been disproved, that it wasn’t the mercury used as a preservative in the vaccine batches. But dang, it was SOMETHING to do with the vaccines, I am sure of it! That is not very scientifically phrased by me, is it. Ah, let me say, “correlation is not causation” is what we were told, do I have that right? Just because a lot of the newer generations of kids had an inordinate increase of vaccines and then they developed autism, it is not necessarily related. I am hoping that Sec. Kennedy will nail the vaccines and the vaccine makers and be a part of promoting recognition for Mrs. Imus – maybe he will step up to the podium and will be the one to put the medal on her.

It’s great to see the First Couple enjoying the spotlight at the Kennedy Center. In his first term, the effort to freeze the Trumps out of Washington society using the Kennedy Center Honors was dirty, nasty, and outrageous. They signed up performers who refused to go on if Trump showed up. Therefore, it was gratifying that one of the first things Trump did after winning a second term was to take over the Kennedy Center, installing his own people there. Now we see the results.
Watching the celebrities and press swoon over the Obamas and Bidens whenever they went to the Kennedy Center was galling enough without the contrast of how shabbily they treated the Trumps.
