The question can be asked, has President Trump ever had a National Security Advisor who was not compromised?
Unfortunately, some people are rushing to the Mike Flynn redo. As a consequence, some context for why Flynn can never be in the administration again is needed. In brief, he’s a fibber.
In November of 2016 CTH first warned of the issue when it was rumored that Flynn would be selected as Trump’s NSA. [SEE HERE] We knew even before the election this could be a problem. As far as we could surmise at the time – the Trump Campaign and subsequent President-Elect transition team, had no idea that campaign advocate and campaign adviser Michael Flynn was also being paid to lobby in DC on behalf of the government of Turkey, and ultimately put a positive perspective on Recep Erdogan.
The Flynn lobbying arrangement, a corporate lobbyist, then a foreign agent lobbyist, was beyond sketchy. Before the 2016 election Flynn penned an op-ed advocating heavily for Recep Erdogan –SEE HERE– The content was entirely disconnected from the assembled foreign policy outlook of Candidate Donald Trump. The Flynn Op-Ed was actually counter to candidate Trump’s policy views.
If you go read the Op-Ed now, you will notice a very specific editors note: “On March 8, 2017, four months after this article was published, General Flynn filed documents with the Federal government indicating that he earned $530,000 last fall for consulting work that might have aided the government of Turkey. In the filings, Flynn disclosed that he had received payments from Inovo BV, a Dutch company owned by a Turkish businessman with ties to Turkey’s president and that Inovo reviewed the draft before it was submitted to The Hill. Neither General Flynn nor his representatives disclosed this information when the essay was submitted.”
Earlier this evening, Mike Flynn once again denied he was a registered foreign lobbyist.

As they say in DC parlance, Mr Flynn has a tendency of lacking candor.
There is likely a reason he is not in the administration.
Please modify your perspectives accordingly.
Flynn has lots of issues, tight with neocons and Q baggage.
And his foreign lobbying without registering was surely a mistake.
But…reading the op-ed that you linked above, that Flynn wrote on the Gulen Movement, he is spot-on 100% correct.
The Gulen Movement is a foreign covert influence operation, run by the shady, Clinton-attached, Fethullah Gulen. As Flynn says:
“American taxpayers are helping finance Gülen’s 160 charter schools in the United States. These schools have been granted more H1-B visas than Google. It is inconceivable that our visa officers have approved thousands of visas for English teachers whose English is incomprehensible.”
Gulen is an enemy of the current Turkish government. The US, under Clinton, gave him sanctuary. He now lives in a massive compound in Pennsylvania, running his massive, American taxpayer-funded charter school network.
So, Flynn may not be a good candidate for National Security Advisor, and he was a registered foreign lobbyist, but the one example of his foreign influence work is on the right side.

We had a tooth-and-nail fight against the Gulenistas when they applied to open a charter school here in Loudoun County (yes, the boy-rapist-in-a-skirt Loudoun County!) a few years back.
We influenced the School Board to vote against approving the Gulen charter school.

I remember well. Thanks for the re-reminder for all to see.
I was on Flynn’s side while he defended himself against the Russia ‘lie’ that I believe he admitted to (son threatened type stuff). All that mess with Pence, Judge Sullivan and Sidney Powell I tried to follow. Russia is what I remember as being what got Flynn fired.
So now I wonder if Russia was just a way to segway into President Trump Russia3. And Turkey was held for backup.
Anyway, after (as I remember) Barr shut down Sullivan I thought Flynn would ride off into the sunset. He didn’t and so I became leery of him with Q stuff and too much IMO social media. I just didn’t support him anymore as something seemed ‘off’. TY SD, explains why.

I like General Flynn but one, why is he still denying it? and two, why do Americans “lobby” on behalf of foreign governments? I dunno nuffin nor nuffin, but that just seem strange to me.

IF Flynn’s FARA registration was extorted and/or advised by compromised council, then he could be telling the truth about not being a foreign agent.
The FARA registration came at the same time the DOJ was extorting a guilty plea from Fynn by threatening to prosecute his son. You don’t think that could possible be related? And this is all on the advice of compromised council at Covington & Burling that we later found out was basically working with the DOJ against the interest of Flynn, their own client. It seems very possible that was in fact NOT a foreign agent, and the registrations via FARA in March of 2017 were tied up in the the DOJ extortion and faulty representation.
All that is a theory, and not an endorsement of Flynn for the NSA position. Its simply to note that your certainty regarding Mike Flynn’s compromise is unwarranted unless you can support/vouch for the conduct of the DOJ during their prosecution of Flynn during that same time period.
This is all in excellent honest defense of Flynn. They also leaked a photo of him sitting by Putin, when they asked Flynn to do this. It was supposedly classified yet they leaked the photo with Jill Stein and Flynn with Putin.
I wish Flynn would fully answer to the Q oath garbage.

I never trusted Mike Flynn. Even though Pence was a snake, Flynn’s dishonesty was another opening for the garbage Mueller investigation and dragged PDJT through the majority of his first term. I NEVER want him anywhere near PDJT again in any capacity.

That said, from my perspective, the key qualification for Stephen Miller is that he DOES NOT carry the infection of time spent inside the Intelligence Community silos.
Adm. Rogers came up through the silos – Navy, then IC.
Also, when he was with Obama’s national security team, he correctly called bs on their intel report that started the Russia hoax, but let the rest of the group steam roll him (I think they threatened him with his job, as well). When he found out they were spying on candidate Trump, he did tell Trump about it, but then he walked away. Adm. Rogers was in a position to really drop the hammer on the intel people running the Russia hoax, bit he took a pass. He’s not the type President Trump needs on his team.
