Against the backdrop of the Trump administration saying nothing contained in the discussion was classified information, the Atlantic Magazine has decided to publish the full content of the Signal app chat group:
READ IT HERE
The full release coming after the coordinated SSCI effort to build upon the story, and ultimately the response from President Donald Trump toward the entire substance of the issue, seemingly indicates the Atlantic Mag realizes the juice for a bigger targeted outcome is just not there.
The content of the chat is a nothingburger, sans it makes VP Vance look better.

Snapshot of Rube -er- Jeffrey Goldberg’s Signal app screen showing participants … SHOWING A fingernail picture would have gone a LONG ways to showing WHO was participating:

Ad-Rem:
Although an INTERESTING back and forth beginning at 12:58 pm and PAST (who knows how long), where I quit reading around 2:30 pm,
THIS THREAD WAS HIJACKED FROM THE TOPIC SUNDANCE POSTED. THE ONE I WANTED TO READ COMMENTS ON.
SOME OF THE COMMENTERS MIGHT NEED TO HAVE A WELL-CHECK 🙂, AS THINGS WERE HEATING UP.
Remember, Treepers, we’re not at war here on CTH.
No one has explained how Goldberg was in this chat and I find that to be beyond amazing….
President Trump said staffer. Maybe NSC? Didn’t name any names.
Steve Witkoff
@SteveWitkoff
I am incredulous that a good newspaper like the @WSJ would not check with me as to whether I had any personal devices with me on either of my trips to Moscow. If they had, they would have known the truth. Which is, I only had with me a secure phone provided by the government for special circumstances when you travel to regions where you do not want your devices compromised.
That is why CBS News reported that Goldberg himself said that he “has not recounted Witkoff making any comments in that group chat until Saturday, after he left Russia and returned to the U.S.”. Guess why? Because I had no access to my personal devices until I returned from my trip.
That is the responsible way for me to make these trips and that is how I always conduct myself. Maybe it is time for media outlets like the Journal to acknowledge when some of their people make serious reporting mistakes like this. I would appreciate it if the WSJ and other media outlets check with me the next time they make serious allegations. Thank you.

The WSJ stopped being a good newspaper decades ago. The news section is more or less the NYT. Editorial page is a RINO sanctuary. Conservatives need to get over it.
Remember James Clapper…

Hacker breaks into personal email of James Clapper, US director of national intelligence

I wouldn’t believe a word from a source as bogus as the Guardian , Wikileaks listed them as a propaganda news source.
On another note it appears that there is one chat with no classified info and another with classified info . Something really bogus is going on.
Top Dem used same app used in Atlantic scandal to set up contact with Steele dossier author
Excerpt:
Mark Warner, D-Va., vice chairman of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, used an encrypted messaging app to work with a lobbyist for a Russian oligarch to connect with the disgraced Steele dossier author. It’s the same app Warner bashed top Trump administration officials for using to discuss plans for a strike on the Houthis in Yemen.

SIGNIFICANT development in the fallout from the signal chat snafu.. Senate Armed Services Chair Roger Wicker (R) say he and ranker Jack Reed (D) have agreed to ask the administration for an independent Inspector General report on the matter.

Wicker I think is a RINO if I am not mistaken. He voted in 2019 with 10 other Rinos to override Trump veto of Donk bill to ban Potus from using other funding sources for building the effective Wall on Mexican Border.
The CIA agent who did this was CIARAMELLA CIARAMELLA CIARAMELLA CIARAMELLA!!!!!!
You all can spin the conspiracy theories any way you want, some of them may even have merit – but the fact remains – what kind of a moron communicates the exact strike times and weapons used before the attack? Secret or not is irrelevant. That is NOT something any body over the age of 3 would do. Lyndon Johnson did it routinely in Vietnam but that was – well – Lyndon Johnson who hated the military. I thought the present SecDef would have a little bit more on the ball than that. It’s called Need to Know and nobody on that chat group had a need to know until weapons impact. The Dems will make that traitor judge look like a hero which will help “validate” his ruling on the illegal alien flights. OBTW they need to stop calling them “migrants” – they are illegal aliens – all of them.
Trump’s people better step up to the plate – they are playing in the big leagues now and dragging out silly crap like this is what will tip the midterms the wrong way. The way ahead now is to do the Bill Belichik routine when the Patriots faced the deflated football scandal – he declared the scandal over. Belichik just told the reporters enough was enough and he wasn’t going to talk about any more – next question.
In all fairness, nowhere is the target location, target name or unit names (and numbers) mentioned. All it is, is a timeline, nothing more.
Even if it “got out” before the strike, no one on the “outside” would know where that strike would be or on who.
Regrettably..I think you’re right. There are policies that already automatically set cabinet level type communications over social media as classified. I don’t have the policy in front of me – but respective cabinet staffs certainly do.
Someone in that mtg should have expressed a “WTF” are we discussing this over Signal moment…..I agree. They’re going to have to find a path where minimum damage is exacted – to include getting this over with as quickly as possible.
To exacerbate matters, the FBI should have been at Goldberg’s front door the moment this guy posted. His phone/IT “stuff” should have been grabbed and Goldberg should have been perp walked in front of the cameras. So this is another thing that the Republicans/admin have eff’d up.
Finally, Sundance is correct. Walz was a questionable appointment. The criteria for staffing still seems to be too emotionally based at times.
Someone’s head is going to have to role for this.
Journalists are invited into active military situations from time to time. Embedded I believe they call themselves.
Not Goldberg.
Sen Cotton has to be part of this.
Sen Warner has conspired against PDJT before – supporting false narratives (i.e., a public servant/elected official conspired with a foreign nation in support of a a false narrative intended to interfere with an election).
Time to start playing dirty with these fill-in-the-blank.
Start releasing all the dirt on these people.
Out of curiosity, do you think those times are strike oriented or are they markers on the chat session?
No one has made this distinction – an intentional effort to confuse.
Actual planning information would distinguish local from Zulu time.
The only leakers in all of this were Goldberg and the Atlantic. They illegally participated and recorded a chat session – anyone discuss that? They malevolently withheld information about an accidental or intentional addressing mistake. If there was classified content, then Goldberg/The Atlantic need to be prosecuted to the full extent of the law – the information is still classified.
Goldberg knew a mistake was made. He did not inform anyone. His actions were pre-meditated. He never responded to the initial coordinating messaging – “why am I on this invite list?” He too was playing with national security and should be considered a threat to national security.
These people have opened a can of worms. Go on the offensive and publish their violations of security, all the hoax/conspiracy documentation, all the security foul ups, all the collaboration with foreign intelligence agencies and gov’ts, all the actions based on false FISA justifications to those courts.
They have been conspiring against the US gov’t and people for a long, long time.
Sundance, you were so correct about Waltz, unfortunately it came to pass so very quickly. Now he’s lying like a dog about his involvement at every chance. He s worn out 3 Fox limos already hauling his ass to all their talk shows.
If the presstitute was added by Waltz’s guy Wong, then Wong needs to be prosecuted and imprisoned.
At that point, he’ll either reveal he was directed to do this by Waltz/someone-above-him and they will be prosecuted, or he’ll ‘take the L and go to jail’.
Either outcome is fine. This stuff needs to stop.
The rest of this bs back-n-forth about “classified/not-classified” is a distraction.
It doesn’t matter if it wasn’t classified, it was still a serious breach of security… someone needs to go to freakin’ prison for this mess or it will never stop.
I think the admin has hosed itself by quickly blustering around with ‘wasnt classified, no harm no foul’ … b/c they’re boxing themselves into a corner where they won’t be able to capture/punish whoever did this, beyond a simple firing for violating some department policy or some-such.
There’s no real political downside to having been infiltrated by a bad-actor (other than the obvious leaking-of-info). To think otherwise is to blame the victim… which is how this could’ve/should’ve been played:
“We were betrayed by one among us, this is a serious crime, and they will be dealt with in harshest possible terms.”
Make the -left- argue that it wasn’t classified/wasn’t-a-big-deal as they defend the leaker.
The transcript shows strong, thoughtful, knowledgeable considerations. It’s what we want our leaders doing. Thank heavens for PDJT choosing a highy competent team … unlike President Biden’s term (or whomever was in charge.)! God bless all.
